Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to Homeopathy at Home with Melissa.
Hey, Melissa.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Hey Brie, I'm excited to share this special Christmas
message.
With Christmas in just a coupleof days, we wanted to just
bring a special Christmasmessage to you all and the focus
is going to be about gifts.
So I would love to start withBr.

(00:25):
What do you, what do you thinkabout gifts?
What does your family do withgifts during Christmas?

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Okay, well, I first have to say Merry Christmas.
This is our big favorite timeof year.
We love Christmas and there wasa time in my life where I love
Christmas and there was a timein my life where I, you know,
wrestled with the physical giftsat Christmas, feeling like, you
know, they're just so excessiveand all the things.

(00:52):
And also I am married to a giftgiver.
He loves giving gifts, not evenjust for Christmas, just all
the time, which is sweet.
But so in that wrestling I had,it was nice of the Lord to show
me, at least for our family.
We have three little boys andmy husband loves giving gifts.

(01:17):
I have started to seriously loveshopping for them, finding
things for people in our life, and the way that we approach.
It is not a specific thing.
I know some people have like acertain amount they get, or
maybe a dollar amount.
We kind of just ask the Lordevery year what is our, what

(01:37):
does our family need, what doesthat look like for our boys?
But we do love and we tell themwe give gifts because in Jesus,
god has given us the biggestgift.
So really all we ever need ishim.
If we had no things, nopresents, we could still
celebrate that gift forever, butwe are able to do this and we

(02:03):
want to celebrate in that way,by giving gifts, to remind us
that God has given us gifts andhe loves to still give us gifts
that are not, you know, thingsthat we don't need all the time.
So that's how we've approachedit, um and I it has helped me
even celebrate better, knowingGod loves to give in abundance,

(02:28):
not just physical toys or things, but Jesus is an abundant gift.
And you know, like the tangibleexpressions of that, like God
does that often for his people.
So that's our approach.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, I love it.
What a gift Jesus is.
I mean, you know, when youreally think about the gift that
Jesus is, it's.
I mean, he came to save theworld, right?
So he loves every single person.

(03:05):
God loves every single personon this earth.
I don't care who you are, Idon't care what you've done, he
loves you.
Now, um, you know, sometimespeople hear that wrong and think
well, you know, you have to be,you have to be perfect, or what
if I'm?
What if I don't even believe inGod?
He still loves you.
Um so, so, but you know, thegift of Jesus, I mean, where

(03:32):
would we be?
What an extravagant gift.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Right, I read it.
I'm working through a JudeBible study with some women and
last night we met and obviouslylast night from when we're
recording this but it wastalking about the gift of Jesus
and salvation and how it was.
He was a gift.

(03:57):
It is currently a gift, meaningsalvation.
So Jesus is currently a giftfor us, and then there is still,
like, the gift of eternity withhim to come.
So good.
Which is so cool.
I mean, it's just a very fullpicture of what we were given in
Christ.
Yeah, and past, present, future.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah and his.
So you know, we know that Jesusis the word.
The word is a living.
So your Bible, when you getinto your Bible, it's a living
word.
This is not a dead book.
This is not just a history bookto read a bunch of weird names
and learn what happened a longtime ago.
When you read your Bible, itcomes alive.

(04:42):
God talks to you, he speaks toyou through you know, the Holy
Spirit is revealing, god's,revealing himself to you.
I mean, that's what you know.
The revelation of Jesus is isnot just an end times book.
You know what's going to happenand how's it going to go down.
It is the revelation of Jesusand that's what we're getting

(05:06):
Every time we get into the, intothe word.
We're getting new revelationsevery single day, every single
time.
And so, um, revelations everysingle day, every single time.
And so the word is a gift.
And you know, proverbs 4.20says my son, give attention to
my words, incline your ear to mysayings, do not let them depart

(05:27):
from your eyes, keep them inthe midst of your heart, for
they are life to those who findthem and health to all their
flesh.
They are life and health.
And so you know this being ahomeopathy podcast.
Homeopathy is a gift andhomeopathy is a gift, but Jesus

(05:50):
is the gift.
We have to remember to put himfirst.
So when you have a symptom, areyou running to Jesus or are you
running to your materia medicaand that that and I am not
saying that out of judgment orcondemnation I hope that it
encourages you turn to him first, because he is such a gift and

(06:15):
the gift of health comes throughhim and get into the word.
You know as much as youpossibly can.
I mean, every day, you eatevery day and that's what the
you know.
We, we eat the word.
We should be eating the wordevery single day.
And so, what a gift, what agift Jesus is.
And you know, I absolutelybelieve that homeopathy is a

(06:40):
gift from the Lord and you can,you know, go all the way back to
our very first podcast episodeand hear about how.
You know what we think about.
You know what the Bible saysabout health, mm, hmm, yeah,
that's so good I love.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
I know I don't want to just make it so cheeseball,
but because I'm allowed to talkabout it so openly here to you,
the gift that homeopathy hasbeen to my family, I know to the
I mean everybody listening herewill agree with that, um, and
if it's your first time, justknow this is a great time to
join.
This is what we're actuallyabout is Jesus.

(07:20):
So homeopathy is just the toolthat we're using on this
platform, um, but it is such agift and health is such a gift.
And when you think of whenyou're given a gift, it's to use
, and I know that's also sobasic, but, um, and that goes
for Jesus, it is a gift offeredto use, and I know that's also
so basic, but, and that goes forJesus, it is a gift offered to

(07:42):
us.
He is a gift offered to us.
Use that, you know.
I mean surrender to that giftof salvation and that lordship
in your life and then also usethe gifts that he has given you
in your life, that people, theresources and homeopathy being
one of them.
That's something God's reallyworked on in my heart in general

(08:07):
is using the tools he has givenus, the gifts that he has given
me well and for his glory.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Exactly exactly.
I mean, he gave us everythingin the beginning that we need
for life and health andenjoyment and um, so these
things are gifts.
All you have to you know when.
When you're given a gift, youdon't have to ask for it.
If I hand you a gift right now,you don't have to ask for the

(08:35):
gift.
You receive the gift, the giftsthat he has given you.
He's already poured it out,he's already given the gifts.
Now you just have to receivethem.
So that's why we receivesalvation and we receive his
word and we receive him.
You know into our hearts andour minds and and our spirits,

(08:57):
and so you know into our heartsand our minds and and our
spirits, and so you know what Iwant to give you all a gift.
And so what I'm going to do isI don't care when you're
listening to this, so I'm noteven going to make this expire.
This is going to be a gift.
You, whenever you're listeningto this, you go to

(09:19):

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah, it really has been so great for our family and
actually that was how I gotinto.
Homeopathy was a free offeringthat you had.
Um, I jumped on that because itI mean, I'm not just saying
this, it doesn't ha, it doesn'thappen.
Any other resources that I everfound was, I mean, they're so

(10:15):
out of my price range.
We were single income family,my husband's in ministry, so I
was like I can't pay hundreds ofdollars for something I don't
even know if I'm going to use orhow to do this.
So that's huge.
