Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey friends, welcome back to another mini-sode.
What did you think of theepisode with Tracy Ripley?
I can't get over how she foundout that her son had a
congenital heart defect.
God is so good and the way heworks is amazing.
I mean, I look at my life, allthe stupid mistakes that I had

(00:22):
made in it, and I can still seewhere God was working, where he
was trying to pull me back, where he was keeping me safe and
protecting me from things.
I mean to deny that God exists, when you've seen something in
your life so profound like shedid, the nurse who was helping,
who happened to have a child whohad the same problem.

(00:44):
And this wasn't even herregular nurse.
She was not supposed to bethere, she was just there.
God is so good, he does notwaste anything, he is amazing
and he deserves all the glory inall of our lives.
All the time I'm just, I'm inawe of who God is Like.

(01:04):
I said I have grown up in thechurch.
I knew all the things, but Ididn't follow him very well in
my younger years and I madeterrible mistakes that I knew
were mistakes.
They were wrong.
In the Bible you look it up itsaid don't do this.
I did it anyways.
And yet God was still faithfulto me and he still stuck near me

(01:27):
enough to protect me, to keepme safe.
And he's still, to this day, doing what he said he would do,
which is never leave me orforsake me.
When I was on my own after mysecond divorce, all I had was
God, and he was all I needed.
He told me trust me, sweetums.
He didn't call me sweetums, Idon't know where that came from,

(01:50):
but anyway he said trust me,anna, I will be there for you, I
will take care of you.
It is my turn to show you thatI love you and I will take care
of you.
And I chose to stay inConnecticut, even though I
didn't have any family here.
I chose to trust God that hemeant what he said, that he

(02:12):
would take care of me.
And he has not stopped even tothis day.
Glory to God for that.
I have a wonderful husband,beautiful, healthy children.
I am healthy.
I am mentally healthy.
I am freed from my addiction topornography.
I am growing each and every day.
God is working on me.

(02:32):
He's working on my anger.
He's working on all the areaswhere I have never let him in
before, but I have finallysurrendered and said you know
what, I can't do it.
And if you aren't there yet, here is your question why?
Why are you not there yet?
Look in your life and see whereGod has been faithful to you and

(02:54):
he has done things for you andmarvel at that.
Marvel at what he has done inyour life before and then trust
him with something new today.
Look at where he might becalling you out of something and
surrender and allow him to work.
In that you will have abeautiful story on the other

(03:14):
side of that, even if it'sthrough pain and struggle like
Tracy had to go through with herson and his condition.
But now he is a grown, almostteenager, and he's able to do
things that the doctor said hecouldn't do, which was another
area that I was just in awe of.
They kept saying he'll never beable to play sports and he

(03:35):
plays basketball.
Come on, give God the glory hedeserves.
But seriously, if you are in asituation where you don't feel
that you can trust God, lookback in your life where good
things have happened to you andI dare you to not notice that
God was there, helping youthrough that, even if you didn't

(03:56):
believe in him at the time, even if you didn't know he was
there.
Look at it now, where you arespiritually and see, open your
eyes and truly see where he hasactually been working, and you
are going to find that he isgoing to blow your socks off
with all the times that he wasthere, even when you didn't
think he was.
So, with that, I'm going toleave you for this mini-sode.

(04:19):
Have a wonderful day, god bless.
