I was suddenly paralyzed and nobody knew why. Through honest storytelling, I share real-life experiences to encourage others through challenging seasons in life, and discuss ways to keep moving forward, even when life feels heavy. I'm grateful to report I am walking today (with a cane) and as determined as ever to thrive through life. I share life-changing moments, including some miracles, with a sincere and sometimes lighthearted spirit (laughter is good medicine). After exhaustive research from a tertiary hospital, I learned I have a genetic rare blood disorder called Porphyria. My type is called Variegate Porphyria, a form of Acute Hepatic Porphyria.
