Hope Johnson guides us through a profound exploration of ACIM Lesson 234 – "Father, today I am your son again" – inviting us to remember our true identity beyond the illusions of this world. This seemingly simple declaration opens a gateway to understanding our unbroken connection with the Divine.

The conversation unfolds around a radical perspective: nothing we perceive in this world can disturb our peace unless we allow it to. When feelings of regret or unworthiness arise, Hope suggests an immediate pivot toward gratitude rather than dwelling in sorrow. This shift isn't spiritual bypassing but rather a recognition that beneath every experience lies an opportunity to remember who we truly are – perfect extensions of God's love.

One of the most liberating insights shared is about releasing our need for others' approval. Many of us unconsciously structure our relationships around validation-seeking, creating cycles of dependency and disappointment. Hope offers a refreshing alternative: "Don't try to get other people to see you differently. You want to see them differently." When we stop making others responsible for our sense of worthiness, our relationships transform from possession to freedom.

The discussion takes a fascinating turn when participants share mystical experiences of light and oneness, glimpses beyond the veil of separation. These experiences point to what the Course describes as "the holy peace we never left" – the reality that exists beneath our dream of exile. As one participant realizes, even her concern for leaving loved ones behind dissolves in the recognition that "all the children of God, all the sons of God, we will be there, connected in that light of happiness."

This episode doesn't shy away from addressing how we can extend forgiveness to seemingly "unforgivable" acts in the world. Hope challenges us to recognize that maintaining any exceptions to forgiveness keeps us bound to the very separation we seek to transcend. The pathway out of suffering isn't through fixing the world but through changing how we see it – recognizing everything as either love or a call for love.

Join us for this transformative conversation that illuminates the journey from the dream world of separation to the real world of unity consciousness, and ultimately to eternity beyond all form. Your peace is waiting to be reclaimed, right now.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Aloha, this is an ACIM meeting at Namaste Village
and we are doing Lesson 234.
This is Hope Johnson.
Father, today, I am your sonagain.
This is a fun one, all right, all right, we've talked about

(00:22):
Father a lot.
We love that because that'sholding the truth, holding the
truth for us, and we're anextension of the truth, right
and today.
So it's like every moment isnew.
Every moment we're reaffirmingthis anew.
It's like this is the truth.
I am your son.
That means I am the perfectextension of you.

(00:44):
You're perfect, you're holy.
You hold the creation intactfor me, no matter what I seem to
do or think or make of myself.
And I'm claiming this now, today, that I'm your son again.
I'm the perfect, holy extensionof you.
Now, right, nothing's gone wrong.

(01:05):
There's been no severance here, okay, so today, in this moment,
we will anticipate the timewhen dreams of sin and guilt are
gone, right.
So, look, you know, rightbefore we started this, flow,

(01:28):
flow just said I'm sorry, right, and, and we go, we go, hey,
flow, you know you're,everything you do is always
perfect, and you know, and, andyou know it's like you can.
You can actually pivot thatsense that anything has gone
wrong to gratitude right now.
Thank you, right, because it'slike.
It's like whenever, wheneverthere's a sense of sorrow or a

(01:49):
sense of I'm sorry, there's asense of something has gone
wrong, and what is thatindicating?
It's an absence of gratitude.
Right, that's an absence ofgratitude.
So it's like it's just pivotingright back to the Holy Spirit.
You know, when it comes down towow, anything that I seem to do

(02:12):
, anything that I seem to say,is useful, if I would let it be
useful, and for that I could betotally grateful.
So this is how I mean, this ishow I do it, this is how I
anticipate the time when dreamsare ended there's no more sorrow
, right, I'm grateful foreverything that arises.

(02:34):
I pivot my mind quickly towardgratitude, and that includes any
kind of slight that anyone elseseems to have done to me or
anything like that.
I pivot it toward gratitude, and it's not like the ego's
gratitude.
The ego's gratitude is morelike hey, thank you for showing
me how I don't want to be.
No, because the ego's gratitudeis all about trying to make a

(02:59):
better self-image in the world.
You know, don't worry aboutthis self-image.
It's going to be taken allkinds of different ways.
This is not what we're trying tosave.
We're not.
That's the ego's game is to tryto save the self-image, save
face, right.
But really what's being savedhere is our sanity, right.

(03:22):
That's what's truly being saved.
And the reason we're gratefulto anyone for helping us to see
is they're helping us to see howto shift our own mind back to
sanity.
And the reason we're gratefulwhen it seems like we should be
sorry for anything is we'regrateful for our brothers for

(03:43):
holding this space with us.
We're never doing anything whenwe seem to be doing stuff and
we're in an interaction.
We're never doing it alone.
We're projecting together.
So it's gratitude for thejoining, it's gratitude for the
unity.
Beneath anything like even ifsomeone seems to think that

(04:03):
they're annoyed with you orsomething like that beneath that
, their spirit knows they'reonly joining with you.
So being grateful to theirspirit for being present, that
brings you back to the truth.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
See it's funny.
It's almost like we can annoyeach other into a holy
relationship.
That's it.
It could start by being likeooh, what's going on here?
And then, if we join together, there can be healing for both of
us, which is great.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah, and here's a great thing too, kind of like a
little trick of the trade, youmight say.
Trick of the trade, you mightsay Whenever someone seems to be
annoyed by you, don't try tointeract with them.
You don't have to try.
That's the ego's way too.
The ego's like well, maybe I'llget them to see me a different
way.
Don't try to get other peopleto see you differently.

(05:04):
You want to see themdifferently.
You want to see themdifferently.
You want to see everythingdifferently.
Don't try to change theirperspective.
Like that's always a cue for me.
Like if I get the perceptionthat anyone is annoyed with me
or trying to uh, or trying toconvince me that I need their
approval or anything like that, that's my cue to back off.

(05:26):
Right, that's a backing off intrying any kind of relating.
The ego is all about trying toget other people to change their
perspective.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
So we don't have to fix anything externally.
Everything here is me RightProjection.
So if that happens, that I'mfeeling something's happening,
it's oh.
I'm not realizing who I am,I've forgotten.
I think I have flaws andimperfections.
I think somebody out thereshould feel something about me

(05:57):
and I'm not recognizing.
I'm feeling about myself.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yes, yes, it's a sense that and that's the
talking too thing.
You know it's like I want to berecognized.
You know I want to berecognized by other people.
See, so when you see that, that's where you like back off
and come into your center, because what wants to be
recognized is a self-image.
You're already completelyrecognized by God and all of

(06:23):
your brothers already completelyrecognized by God and all of
your brothers.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Sometimes, if I ask you questions because I'm not
sure I'm having so many newepiphanies, Just what I asked
you right now is like is thisthe way I'm seeing it?
It's a new way for me to viewit and your confirmation is like
I am seeing clearly.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Yeah, Thank you and you know you are seen clearly,
completely in your holiness byGod all the time, and actually
by all of your brothers too.
It's just that you'vesuperimposed this world where
you're not seeing them clearly,so it only seems like they may

(07:03):
not be accepting you, they maynot be seeing you, they may not
be approving of you.
Okay, so it's recognizing.
What the ego would have you dois pursue their approval, pursue
their recognition.
You don't need that.
That's where you stand down.
And the interesting thing, theparadoxical thing, is, when

(07:26):
you'll allow that, people willstart to seem like they see you
on the field.
Still, don't get attached tothat, right, like, from my
perspective, some people do andsome people don't, and I don't
get attached.
The ones that do, the ones that, the ones that look at me with
loving eyes, those are the onesI pay more attention to.

(07:46):
That's all the ego would haveyou.
Try to capture the ones who arenot.
Wait a minute, why aren't they?
I want them to see me, right?
Try to capture someone'sattention, right?
It's also a sure sign to me inany relationship.
I like to keep my relationshipsreally light and playful and

(08:07):
joyful and not go deep withpeople, because the deep with
people thing.
That's an ego way, right, yougo deep with people and people
become possessive in differentways, right, they might think
that you need their approval.
Right.
Once I see that, I know, oh, Ican back off of that.

(08:27):
There's no need for that, there's no need to continue
pursuing, you know, keeping itlight, keeping it joyful and
happy and free.
Right, we don't need that.
That's the ego's way.
You can even have that samething, even if you seem to be in
a marriage.
You know, that's what mightycompanionship is like.
It's like we never start tomake each other into an object

(08:52):
without being aware of it atleast.
Right, it's like, oh, mygoodness, I'm making you into an
object.
I think you need my approval.
Oh, okay, well, let's back offof that one, right, because
relationships can just be heldwith an open hand like this.
They don't need to go on and onfor any length of time.
All right, yeah, that's the ego.

(09:13):
So today we will anticipate andthe way we anticipate it.
It's like we kind of like werole play that you know.
Yeah, we're expecting that.
You know it's not only coming, but it's here.
We can actually start treatingeach other right now, like we
are already released from all ofthis confusion about who we are

(09:39):
.
Okay, welcome, alex.
Nice to see you.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
All right.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Yay, yay, so we're going over lesson 234 from A
Course in Miracles.
Yay, so we're going over lesson234 from A Course in Miracles.
And I'm just taking it sentenceby sentence, really simply Yep,
yep, okay.
So we're anticipating the timewhen dreams of sin and guilt are
gone, right, you see that?
So this idea that I'm sorry forsomething turns to gratitude,

(10:08):
that's how we're anticipatingthat the time for sin and guilt
are gone.
Also, the idea that we needanyone's approval this is also
anticipating that this is gone.
This is not true.
It's actually a loving and kindthing to stop interacting with
someone who thinks that you needtheir approval Right, because

(10:30):
the hook is that you need tokeep interacting with them to
show them that you in fact dodeserve their approval right,
but instead you're kind of likeoh no, thank you, I love you
right, all right, so, and wehave reached the holy peace we

(10:50):
never left.
So here's the sentence againToday we will anticipate the
time when dreams of sin andguilt are gone and we have
reached the holy peace we neverleft.
So if you're in the holy peacethat never left, why would you
be trying to get anyone'sapproval right?
And someone who thinks thatpeople need their approval.

(11:12):
They will find people to playwith them like that.
It does not need to be you, right?
You're not the one who needs toplay those kinds of games.
See that?
So, merely a tiny instant, merely a tiny instant.
This is.
This whole world is a tinyinstant.
It has a lapse between eternityand timelessness.

(11:34):
Right, our mind is stretchingit out like it's a long life,
like it's on this long timeline, right, but really it's an
instant like a wisp.
When we wake up from this dream, we're not going to care about

(11:59):
it.
We're not going to care aboutwho we were, what kind of
relationships we seem to have,or anything like that.
We know our one holyrelationship with one another.
That's eternal.
Okay, this is really just likea wisp and there's no time.
The time is, it's circular andit's only wrapping around
forever and forever, for as longas we would keep it.
So you see, this is one exampleI'm giving today, because this
is on the tip of my mind.
The Holy Spirit gave it to methis morning.

(12:21):
This is one example I'm usingtoday.
This is one way we extend time,by using our relationships to
try to get acknowledgement, right, to try to get love, to
try to get their approval.
This is how we extend time.
We're actually refusing to see.
That's right.
That's right.
We're lengthening it out so wecan get more time to see what we

(12:47):
want we think we want to see inthe world, but really what we
want to see is this world ismeaningless and it's only like a
training ground for seeing whowe really are again.
So that's why it says at thebeginning Father, today I am
your son again.
It's not like we were ever nothis son.
It's just that we forgot and wewere looking for sonship from

(13:10):
people.
Right, we were looking for themto be the father, because we
think the connection to oursource is severed.
So that's why we're looking forpeople to give us that right.
And it never works out, as weknow.
It only leads to conflict.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Yeah, you know, I had a large epiphany this morning
and I realized, you know, I feltthe connection that I have with
God the beloved, and it's sobeautiful when I'm there.
And then I thought to myself, why do I still seek something
out here?
Everybody here is flawed as ahuman, so I want to have a.

(13:51):
I'm thinking, I want to have arelationship with someone and we
work it out together.
But I'm realizing therelationship is that's right,
this is the relationship, that'sright.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
That is the one, and that is a major hook of the ego
Major, to want a relationshipwhere it's working out for you
in the relationship.
See, this is such a blessing, though, because it's showing you
, this is showing you and thisis where you connect with the
Holy Spirit and have the HolySpirit.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Look on this thought with you, because it's showing
you that this world holdsnothing that you want at all
Except just to love and to seethe truth to see, except just to
love and to see the truth, tosee who I am and see it in my
sister and brother.
Right, that's it.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yes, and you don't need anything here.
So that's what?
So look it when you get therelationship right, you see that
it's not fulfilling.
That's how the ego works.
It's like always wanting more, more, more, more, more.

(14:55):
So when you recognize the worldholds nothing that I want,
because anything that I seek, anything that I strive for here,
leads to one end, and it'sdeath.
So what we want to do is wewant to transcend that whole
thing.
We want to transcend the wholeworld that leads to death and be
back in eternal life.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Right Now I'm thinking, you know, right.
And now I'm thinking, you know,if we transcend that?
You know, they talk aboutreincarnation I don't want to be
on some kind of wheel.
That goes right, that's thewheel.
So can't I then be in everydimension?
Or once my mind, myconsciousness, will still be?

Speaker 1 (15:28):
just eternity.
That's the only dimension youneed.
Just eternity, okay, eternity, that's it, your real creation,
which you cannot comprehend fromhere because everything is
eternal.
You're used to perceivingthings that pass away, so that's
why this takes faith to seebeyond what we made, the world

(15:49):
of the dying, so that we can seewhat we.
This is our true heart's desire.
Our true heart's desire is thecreation that God created for us
to live in eternally.
Okay.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
I really love what you said about the Son of God,
because I always don't.
I don't understand what itmeans to be the Son of God, and
when I read that, when the versesays that the being that you
made is not the Son of God,that's right.
And then who am I?

(16:24):
Right?
I think I don't know.
That's right, I don't know, youdon't know.
But I tried to fix everythingthat I am and I made that.
But I think I need to listenand God teach me who I am more
and more, and the only thing Ineed to do is hear is listen,

(16:45):
listen and guide.
That is the only thing, becausehe knows.
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Yes, yes, you're right, we don't know from here.
So we need to see beyond theworld, we see with Christ's
vision, to know our truecreation.
Now, one way of course inmiracles points to it is that
God created us self-aware.
Okay, god created us self-aware.
So we're and we're a distinctabstraction.

(17:10):
So each of us, it's like, byour love, we know one another.
That's our distinction, that'show we know one another.
We think we know one another bythe way we look, by the way we
sound, by our personality, butreally, the way God created us,
as a distinct abstraction, weeach have a distinct way of

(17:32):
loving, so, it's like, and thatmakes up the whole creation.
So that's what we're learningto see ourselves beyond these
forms.
That's what this world isteaching us.
We only propped it up becausewe thought we separated
ourselves.
So it's a sign of separation,it's a symbol of separation and
it's also the means to returningto eternity.

(17:53):
Okay, so next sentence, sentence two Merely a tiny
instant has a lapse betweeneternity and timelessness.
This is what we're perceivingright now.
So brief the interval.
There was no lapse incontinuity.

(18:13):
There's no lapse nor break inthoughts which are forever
unified as one.
So see the thoughts that areunified as one.
These are the thoughts thatmake creation.
There's no break in thesethoughts.
Okay, the thoughts of God,which we can also tune into

(18:35):
through the Holy Spirit.
Right, there's been no break inthat.
So your creation has not beensevered, there hasn't been a
pause in it or anything likethat.
It's just one love eternally.
And this, what we're perceivinghere, is nothing.
It's not even like a blip ineternity.

(18:58):
It's absolutely nothing.
It's a total, meaningless world.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
I remember, and I think it was lesson 48 or
something in that range God'svoice speaks to me all through
the day and I don't hear it.
And then I heard Esther Hicks.
Everybody knows Abraham.
She channels Abraham.
For months and a long time shewasn't hearing anything.

(19:23):
She was begging God, let mehear you.
And all of a sudden she startsmoving her nose in a weird way
and her husband says I thinkyou're spelling something with
your nose and it was.
I am Abraham.
And she said why did you dothat?
Why didn't you just come to me?
I was trying for two years tocommunicate with you, but you

(19:46):
would listen and then youwouldn't.
You're just.
It's like we.
I speak for myself.
I will hear sometimes and nothear.
Now I'm hearing it.
I'm hearing it more.
So it could be that we're justnot hearing it.
It's any moment.
God is.
We're never alone.
We know that.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Right.
It's just that we feel alonebecause we're listening to the
ego's thoughts, which are onlyabout this world.
It's constantly talking, andit's louder than the still small
voice of God that's beneaththat.
So it's always talking aboutwhere we're going to go, what
we're going to do, what we'regoing to get, all these
different things, okay.

(20:27):
So when we pause, it'sbasically a matter of looking at
those thoughts withoutfollowing them.
There's a pause in them.
You can pay attention to thebreath.
Let there be that pause so youcould hear God's voice speaking
to you.
It's actually leading you outof dreaming.
At one point in one of theselifetimes, these circular

(20:51):
lifetimes, there's just going tobe pure vision.
You're not going to have to gothrough another death, even Okay
.
So it's like.
It's like putting ourselves inthis kind of in this, in this
realm.
It's like it is as if itguarantees that you're going to
die.
Right, Everyone thinks thatthat's the thing you're going to

(21:11):
eventually everyone's going todie.
Well, that's not the case.
In one of these lifetimes, because of listening truly and
tuning our vision in with theHoly Spirit, we're just going to
see the veil lift.
There doesn't have tonecessarily be a death occurring
.
Also, it's nothing to be afraidof either, because it's nothing

(21:32):
.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
It's actually nothing , so we will consciously leave
our body and I've had someout-of-body experiences but
completely leave it.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Yeah, it's a little bit different than that, because
it just dissolves.
It's not a matter of leaving itand looking down on a world.
The world is superimposed overreality, so it just fades.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
When I heal, everyone heals.
That's my plan.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
So if I realize it, it will all just and it only
takes one.
It only takes one.
It only takes you, because whatyou're perceiving about
everyone and everything here isactually not true.
It's superimposed by yourthoughts.
You're propping the whole thingup by thinking.
It's only thinking.
So you're by thinking thoughts.

(22:19):
Then basically you're not eventhinking.
You're listening.
You're listening to egothoughts.
So that's why A Course inMiracles says your mind is blank
.
Whenever you're listening tothe ego, nothing's happening.
You're just making illusionsthat seem really real to you,
right?
It's got all these things.
It's got cars, it's got dogs,it's got bodies, it's got all

(22:40):
these circumstances, jobs, allthis different stuff.
It's all made by your ownthinking.
So we're calming that down andthinking with the Holy Spirit so
we could see things truly right.
So no lapse in continuity, norbreak in thoughts.
That's where we're created,through God's thought.

(23:01):
So the real thoughts, who weare?
It's still thoughts, but it'sthoughts of God, and that's what
makes creation.
That's why it's superimposedwith meaningless thoughts.
That's what this world is.
So nothing has ever happened todisturb the peace of God, the

(23:22):
Father and His Son.
You ever feel disturbed?
You're fucking making it up,all right, because nothing has
happened to disturb the peace ofGod.
Look at that, when you justnotice a whirlwind of ego
thoughts.
You know, maybe someone saidsomething to you that made you
question yourself.

(23:42):
Right?
How common is that?
If someone says, that made youquestion, uh-oh, am I okay?
Did I do it right?
Did I disturb someone else?
You know, it's such a simplepivot.
You're right back into thepeace of God when you're
recognizing nothing has happenedto disturb the peace of God and

(24:05):
His Son, and which are one.
Can God be disturbed?
If God can't be disturbed, neither can you, because you're
the son, which you know.
This is, symbolically speaking, there's different ways of
saying it too.
God is the source.
You're an extension of thesource, right?
The source can't be disturbed.
The source can't be disturbedby anything that happens here.

(24:28):
A branch on the tree of God,right, a branch on the tree Good
way to put it.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Yes, One day I had one experience that was the
closer that I seemed to be closeto God Many, many years ago.
I think I was not in the courseor starting and then I felt I
don't know if it was real or notreal but I was in a total light

(24:55):
, in a big, big, big light and asense of love, happiness that I
never could imagine that couldexist.
And then in that moment I feelthat I want to live all the
eternity there.

(25:15):
There are no words to explainthe feeling of love and
happiness and completeness inthat light.
And then that one thought comesto my mind and say oh, to live
all day turning to hearsomething what about my children

(25:37):
?
And you thought, what about mychildren?
And then, like a voice orsomething, I hear something that
say you are one race and yourchildren are another race.
One ray and your children areanother race.

(26:00):
And I felt that all thecreation are the rays that are
one with God.
And I really lose the fear ofdeath because I really know that
sometimes, that I will live, that my kids say, oh, mom, we've
never have that experience.

(26:22):
And I, after I feel that, saythat is true, that I will be
there and all the children ofGod, all the sons of God.
We will be there, connectedwith them, in that light of
happiness.
But now I live here, separate, because I have a volume
Apparently, Apparently.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
But that is the thing that I see.
But I'm going to give you onelesson.
First that Jesus said, or inthe text, jesus said I am in
charge of your body and your egoand everything, and he's in
charge of my nimiedades, or allthe triple things.
He's in charge of that.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
And I need to live only with a connection.
Yes, that for me is the answer.
Living with the connection.
Yes, that for me is the answer.
Living with the connection.
And if I make mistakes, thereare no effects.
And and now I am.
This is an amazing book.
It's Jesus, really living Jesus, and how Him is real.

(27:26):
Yeah, he's real and the HolySpirit was with Him.
Exactly that he's with me.
It's the same Spirit.
That's right and this isincredible.
All the miracles, all thethings that are happening in my
life will be with this guided,in this book.
It is amazing and you are anamazing teacher.

(27:47):
I can't believe that you cameto my life.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Thank you for making me like that.
Thank you very much I never had.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
I knew some.
There are no teachers orstudents.
I think the Holy Spirit is ateacher.
Yes, I think the Holy Spirit isa teacher.
But there are persons that tellyou their experience with
everything.
But I think your experience isso clear to me.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
All right, good, no wonder we're brought together.
Very, very Thank you.
Thank you too.
Yeah, so you actually neverleft eternity.
So what you're seeing, you knowwhat you're, what you're seeing
in that, in the, in that visionlet's call it vision.
True vision is the place younever left, actually.
And see, you know, you'rethinking of your kids, but

(28:34):
you're thinking of your kids theway you made them, right
they're, they're actually.
They're actually still likebeams of light.
And one way A Course inMiracles puts it too, they're
actually still like beams oflight.
And one way A Course inMiracles puts it too we're all
beams of light and we'vesuperimposed all of this, this
matter, basically a decayingbody, right, and we've

(28:59):
superimposed this over a beam oflight.
It's actually what it is.
So we're not perceiving ittruly.
And to the ego, the ego sayingoh no, you want to stay in this
because it's boring to be increation.
But we know, when we have atrue vision, it's not boring at
all, it's the ultimate and it'sour true heart's desire, right?
This is where we go throughcertain trials and sufferings

(29:21):
and loss and stuff like that tosee that, to know that all we
want is eternity Right now.
The reason why the only reasonthat we seem to be in a body, in
a world is because we areprojecting that we want it Right

(29:42):
.
So by going through it, we'relearning that we don't want it
to the ego.
That's death.
Sometimes, when I expresssomething, I expressed how, how
I don't want to.
I don't want anything in theworld, nothing here could
satisfy me, and immediately Istart getting calls from my
family because they think I'mgoing to commit suicide.
I'm like no, nothing's furtherfrom the truth.

(30:04):
I'm not trying to hurt anythinghere.
It's actually different.
It's actually me being able toenjoy everything much more from
you know, from a differentperspective, that I don't want
anything here.
There's nothing here that couldsatisfy me, so I can enjoy
every interaction instead oftrying to control everything.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
Can I share one thing ?
A few years back, I suddenly,in this hour with you, have
clarity on a vision that came atthe year 2000,.
A book I channeled a book andit was called I didn't even want
to use the name at that timethe Rapture, a Vision of the

(30:45):
Second Coming.
That was the title.
Nice, and I realized the secondcoming is the realization of
Christ within me.
Yes, but I had a vision beforeI wrote it.
The vision was really weird.
I kind of wanted to keep it outof my mind because I could see
the earth as if I were above itor something, and it was like an

(31:09):
explosion, not a noise, just, and it was bright light and then
it was gone like it didn'texist, and that I thought was
like oh my God.
A lot of what that I channelwas about the changes in the
earth, the climate.
I thought does this mean thewhole planet will who knows a
bomb?
I didn't know what to think,but now I know.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
You see what it is.
It's actually beautiful Now.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
I suddenly saw the vision again and I knew it's all
in my mind, right, it's all inyour mind.
It looked like the Candy Crushcommercial that I saw as an ad
on my phone.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Yeah, you're releasing every.
What you're doing is you'rereleasing everyone back to the
perfection that they werecreated in, and it's perfect
light, right, and so that's whyit only takes you.
It doesn't take anyone else, you know, and no one else's
approval, no one needs to evenjoin you in this.
It only takes you recognizingthat you want creation and you

(32:12):
don't want to keep this worldanymore.
Okay, and then that's where.
So everything that you gothrough, like for me, you know
if I, if I feel heartache oranything like that, there's deep
joy beneath that, because Iknow that that's showing me more
that I don't want anything inthe world.
It's showing me that right, yeah, so you bless, you can

(32:35):
bless everything, even thislonging.
You know the sense that you'vebeen sharing with me, and other
people here at Namaste have beensharing with me this longing
for a partner.
You can view that as a way ofshowing you that you don't want
to keep this world anymore.
There's nothing here that youwould have.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
I feel like my first impulse is call everybody I love
and say goodbye.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
You know my daughter, my sister, you don't need to do
that.
No, because everyone's homewith you already.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
This is just an image here.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Yeah, well, you'll see when this is dissolved.
Everyone's already here intheir perfection.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
And I see that all the, for example with the
children.
I think I will not havegrandchildren but I love all the
grandchildren are mygrandchildren.
All the kids, all thegrandchildren are my
grandchildren.
All the kids, all the young, are my sons.
All the men are my husband.
You know, I see the connectionI see with the love of that.

(33:35):
I see with the love of thatbecause I thought before, when
my partner passed, I thoughtthat I could, I feel empty.
But then with these teachings Iam more and more complete
myself and I feel much more thelove to others.

(33:56):
And the most beautiful thing isthat I see much more the love
of others to me, Much moreBecause it's reflecting.
I feel much more love with thisnew teaching, Not wanting Not
wanting Right.
This is beautiful, this form oflove.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Yes, it is.
Yes, Thank you for joining in.
I love that.
Thank you, okay.
So let's see, nothing has everhappened to disturb the peace of
God, the Father and the Son.
This we accept as wholly truetoday.
So this is how we're walkingtoday with this lesson that,

(34:37):
whatever it is that seems to bedisturbing, we're recognizing
that nothing has occurred todisturb our peace.
Our peace is held completelyintact all the time.
Nothing can happen to disturbour peace.
Look at one fun way to look atit.
Look at the stock market.
Okay, some people invest intothe stock market or crypto or

(34:59):
stuff like that.
You know you could play withthis.
When it goes up, notice howthere's an attachment to it's
going up.
When it goes down, it's like,oh no, I mean, unless you're
playing it the other way, you'replaying shorts.
But either way, you know you'resometimes going, yes, I'm
winning, oh, no, I'm losing.
And then you know it's notsaying don't do that.

(35:24):
It's saying it's really sayinglook at it.
Notice that your peace iscompletely undisturbed.
There are people jumping out ofwindows during the depression,
right, because they thoughttheir peace was totally
disturbed by how things weregoing financially.
Right, this is the setup of theworld.
It's like as if that's why lookat mothers get scared.
I know my mother was like this.

(35:45):
I was not like this with mykids.
This is the setup of the world.
It's like as if that's why Ilook at mothers get scared.
I know my mother was like this.
I was not like this with mykids.
My mom was like, oh, she stillis.
Just the other day, she's likeyou.
What are you doing to me?
Because she wasn't able to findme on Google Maps, right, what
are you doing?
You did a post like that aboutthere not being anything that
can satisfy you.
You did a post like that aboutthere not being anything that

(36:05):
can satisfy you.
And then you're off Google mapsand I'm thinking you're killing
yourself.
I'm like this is all.
This is all the setup.
There's something like this isthis is a setup, especially like
parents, kids, stock marketthings like that all kinds of
examples but it makes it seemlike something can disturb your
peace when you really look at it, truly look at it right.
At one point, my son told meyou know what, mom?

(36:27):
I almost committed suicide.
I actually had the rope hangingin my room and I was going to
commit suicide and then I said,ah yeah, nevermind.
And you know, I just kind oflike felt that and realized that
can't disturb my peace.
No one can really just commitsuicide, right?
No, no one, it's not reallytrue.

(36:47):
No one ever really dies.
So it's recognizing because theego will hold on to something.
Oh, if that happened, then mypeace is definitely gonna.
No, if that happens, I'm gonnabe like not at peace, right?
So it's like, looking at everycircumstance, like when my son
told me that it was justimmediately a moment to go
within and confirm that I'mstill at peace, even if my son

(37:13):
does that in my dream, in aperiod of time that's just no
longer than an instant and nevereven interrupts creation.
That's the thing, that's theego's stronghold.
Of course there's going to beapparent things, even memories
of things that you seem to havedone.
What if you've been a childmolester?

(37:34):
What if you've, like, diddledthe kid before?
Right, you got to come to peacewith that.
You know, one of my son'sfriends just told him the other
day this kid was molested by hisfather the whole time,
apparently, right.
Well, now the kid's an adultand he's like.
You know what line of work Iwant to go into.
I want to help child molestersfind peace.
And I was like, wow, my mindreally is opening up and

(37:56):
expanding because, see, that's ahuge thing too.
Look at, look at, take it.
If you were, if you have thesense that you did something
like that, let's say to your son.
And it would be like I can't beat peace, I'm too terrible, I'm
too sinful.
This is exactly what Jesus andthe and the Holy Spirit and God

(38:17):
are asking you to look past allillusions, and certainly
projections for other people, right past all illusions, and
certainly projections for otherpeople, right, certainly.
But the way I look at it, it'seasier, it could be easier.
There's, no, there's no levelof difficulty in miracles like
this, but we know it's taken asif it's easier if it's someone
else than if it's yourself, right, that's why we project it

(38:39):
outward.
Thank goodness, I'm not likethem, right?
So that's what this is saying.
This day, we accept this aswholly true, that nothing has
ever happened to disturb thepeace of God and His Son.
Okay, nothing has happened.
So when we accept this and lookit, I'm watching my world open

(39:02):
up.
This kid was a kid who came andhung out with my son when they
were kids, right, and I waspracticing A Course in Miracles
back then too, right, and I'mseeing this kid have.
This is a totally differentpoint of view that I've ever
seen anyone have, a point ofview like this about a child
molester, someone who's molested, and he's sharing this with my
son, my son's even going, my son, my son's going, my son's even

(39:24):
going.
What in the world he's like?
And then I go well, that's thehealing, that's what needs to be
done, because we're allinnocent children.
It doesn't matter what you thinkpeople have done, and you know,
over the years I've alwaysbrought up that example for
people heroin doing heroin, because you, because people
think that's really bad, andchild molestation and murder and

(39:46):
war and stuff like that, because we tend to look at
certain things as beingunforgivable.
As long as anything'sunforgivable in your mind, you
are experiencing as if you'renot forgiven, which is not true.
You're always forgiven becausenothing you seem to have done
was ever done right.

(40:06):
But you have to extendforgiveness to know this.
You have to extend forgivenessfor every single thing, small
and large, seemingly small andlarge.
Remember, no levels ofdifficulty in these miracles at
all, but we make these levels, don't we?
It seems to be.
It might be easier to forgivesomeone who's a little bit

(40:28):
annoying than someone whomolested your kid, for instance,
right, but it's all reallyneutral, okay, everything that
seems to occur here, 100%neutral.
Your thoughts about them, notneutral.
They're either on one sideunforgiveness, or they're on the

(40:48):
other side extension of love, right which comes through
forgiveness.
Your thoughts are the onlythings not neutral.
Everything that's arising here,neutral, right.
So we decide whether or notwe're going to prop this up.
So this kid is really smart totry to help with a child

(41:09):
molester.
Getting peace, coming to peace.
There's no real child molester, you know, that's just a way of
identifying, but there's noreally.
That's not true.
We're all the child molester.
That's what I'll tell peopletoo.
They'll talk about a childmolester and I'm like I am the
child molester.
It comes from my mind.
You're just telling me about itright now.
It's coming from me.
I am a murderer, I am all thesethings, right.

(41:32):
So we need forgiveness, right?
So that's that's.
This is what this is sayingright here, right?
Don't take this lightly.
So many people practice ACourse in Miracles in a very
light way.
This is where we need to godeep, not into meaningless
relating with people, wherewe're trying to get their
approval and attention.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
And not trying in any way politically to change
anybody's mind, to make adecision on which side is right,
which side is wrong.
All of that that's right, comeon.
The world doesn't need fixing.
I need to look within myself.
There's some part of me thatwants genocide in the Middle
East.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Well, it's not you.
It's not you.
Okay, that's not you.
You're unchanging as the HolySon of God.
All that's been happening isyou've been listening to a voice
that wants to kill you.
Okay, because you have beenconvinced that you separated
yourself from God and you madethis voice Right.
So all you're doing islistening to this voice.

(42:36):
These are not your realthoughts.
That's why they have no effectin reality, but they have
effects in a dream that seemvery real to you.
That's why you are trainingyourself now to stop listening
to this voice.
Okay, it's not you.
You're completely holy andwhole, as I stopped listening
and I'm shifting.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
Yes, this what will happen here?
Will things have to shift?
Well, here's my energy, myvibration changes.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
Look it, look it.
A Course in Miracles talksabout this very clearly.
Okay, it's going toward one thehappy dream.
Right, the happy dream is whereyou see past all of the
illusions.
You see them as all expressionsof love, right, no matter what
it seems to be.
And you know, I see thatarising in my circumstance all
the time.
You know, I'll take littlethings like my landlord telling

(43:27):
me I can't have people ringingthe doorbell, right, and then
I'll get the sense that I'mimprisoned here, right, I shared
that with you before.
I'll take little things likethat and ask the Holy Spirit to
look on it with me differentlyso I could see it all as an
expression of love.
That's the happy dream.
No matter what it seems to be,you're able to see it with

(43:48):
Christ's vision, recognize thatit's an expression of love, even
through the little minutethings all throughout your life.
That's the happy dream.
The happy dream gives way to thereal world.
The real world is whereeverything's shining and bright
and everyone is beautiful andyoung and disease-free and
there's no death.
That doesn't last either, because it gives way to eternity

(44:11):
, where there's no physicalbodies at all.
There's no difference exceptfor this distinct we know each
other by a tone.
It's like we're singing a songin unison to God, right, and we
know one another by a tone andit's forever expanding joy,

(44:32):
ecstasy, okay and total, totallyequal.
There's no separation betweenanyone and there's no wants or
needs for anything.
So that's what's going on here.
That's why we don't need to fixthe world and, at the same time,
if you find yourself inactivism to fix the world which
I have before not too long ago, right, you know, what I was

(44:55):
shown through that is todemonstrate to everyone that I
come into contact with that thisdoesn't matter.
The world is not a reality andwe're all going to the same
place.
There's no right or wrong sideto be on, even if I'm playing a
side right.
So there's no right or wrong onwhat you seem to do here.
Everything is good for you tolearn.

(45:17):
Be grateful for everything, every role that you seem to play
, every word that you seem tosay, every action that you seem
to do, every word that you seemto say, every action that you
seem to do, and the same thingwith everyone else, whatever
everyone else seems to be saying, doing, acting, whatever,
because allowing it all to behelpful will make it go easier,
smoother, faster than you canimagine.

(45:38):
Okay, it's the resistance thatslows it down and tears you back
, ages you and leads you towarddeath.

Speaker 3 (45:46):
I had a problem before in me that I always want
to help others my brothers.
They needed help.
I was more lucid, I was morereasonable than many of them.
All were more younger than meand I wanted to help them and I

(46:11):
really helped them, my siblings.
But then I continued and Iwanted to help people and I
recognized that it's wrong.
I gave you have no many booksof a Christian mother's life.
I gave it to people.
That was a stage of my life.
But then I thought that I wasmistaken.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
You're like oh well, yeah.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
Many people, some when they keep it.
They were very excited whenthey hear to me about how the
results, but then they keep it.
They were very excited whenthey hear to me about the
results, but then they keep it.
Many different reactions but Ithought that I was like losing
time myself in me wanting tobecause I wanted to help for

(47:00):
this and this and this and this, all the problems, and I always
that was something in me that ifsomeone needed to help, I'd
give money, give my attention, give time.
I was a giver person andsuddenly with these teachings

(47:21):
you know that I read with mykids and they said Mom, you need
to change.
They don't talk to no one aboutthe Course, they only leave it
and they receive all theguidance there.
I told you they are very finein life, but I need to know when
Jesus said that I will send youthe people, the right people,

(47:43):
but how can I know really whothey are really clear, because I
can help many people that arein my life and I help and help
and help, but many of them, manypeople, they didn't recognize
the help.
I don't need to be like that.

Speaker 1 (48:03):
Yeah, you don't need to try.
So you listen to the HolySpirit.
It's Holy Spirit.
What would you have me do?
Where would you have me go, whowould you have me see and what
would you have me say?
It's kind of like you're inthat frame of mind all the time,
and Holy Spirit always leadsthrough joy of mind all the time

(48:25):
.
And the Holy Spirit alwaysleads through joy.
It's not through other peopleneeding you at all.
People will just show up andyou'll know right away the Holy
Spirit.
Just allow the Holy Spirit tospeak through you and then stop
speaking, because the ego likesto take over the speaking too.
The Holy Spirit will show youwhen to start and also when to
stop you, when to start and alsowhen to stop.
Yeah, so you can just be in arelaxed state.

(48:53):
One of the main impediments forpeople is trying so hard.
You don't need to try so hard.
Think of yourself as floatingdown a nice calm stream and
you're just being led to anyonewherever they need to be, and
they'll show up wherever theyare.
You're enjoying yourself.
You're not looking for students.
You'll all end up in the sea.
Yeah, you'll all end up in thesea.
You're not looking for students.
See, let them just pop up, theHoly Spirit will bring them to

(49:17):
you.
It talks about that, like youjust said in the Course in
Miracles, that they'll bebrought to you, right?
So you don't need to be looking.
You would be in a relaxed stateand you know, really, your
teaching may be silence for therest of this lifetime too, and
let that be okay.
Right, let that be okay, andyou'll see where the

(49:40):
opportunities come from.
It all comes from stillness.
It all comes from stillness.
It all comes from silence.
Okay, we got a little bit more.
We have a prayer here.
We thank you, father, that wecannot lose the memory of you
and of your love.
See, we only get this idea thatwe've lost it, but we're never

(50:00):
losing it.
It's always.
We're remembering something.
We're not learning somethingnew.
We're remembering what we usedto know before we tricked
ourselves and made us intosomething else.
We recognize our safety andgive thanks for all the gifts
you have bestowed on us.
See, this is gratitude again.

(50:22):
See that flow.
It's like we're coming back togratitude again and again,
recognizing we're safe.
We're always safe, there'snothing that's making us unsafe,
and we're grateful for all thegifts, for all the loving help.
We have received Everythingthat anyone has ever said or
done.
That's what I mean about beinggrateful.

(50:43):
It can only be 100% helpful.
We're grateful for all theloving help we have received.
Everyone's been helping us,even if they seem to come up in
a mean or annoying or stupid way, right, it's always helpful to
us.
Okay, for your eternal patience.
Look at how patient too, youreternal patience and the word

(51:07):
which you have given us that weare saved.
So we already are standing atthe end of the timeline.
It's this circular timeline,right.
It's like Jesus has his armaround us and we're looking at
this timeline together and whenwe invite him to look at what's
going on with us, he shows ushow all of it is so useful for

(51:29):
us to be on a vertical ascension.
Right In our mind.
It's like.
It's like we're, we're, we'recoming through all of this haze
to see that we just made all ofthis up and we've always been
saved and we've never reallybeen here.
That's why it's only a momentand the whole timeline all of
time, it's only just an instantand it passes away.

(51:53):
It's passing away, right, we'realready saved.
So that's the end of the lesson.
Thanks, you guys.
Thank you so much for joining.
I love you.
Yeah, that's just one lesson inA Course in Miracles.
That's lesson 234.
So if you're just tuning intothis here in person or I have
this recorded for a podcast ifyou're just tuning into this,

(52:15):
this is lesson 234.
This is from going all the wayup there one day.
A minimum of one day per lesson, starting with lesson one.
A minimum of one day per lesson.
You can expand it out until youfeel like you really got that
lesson.
You don't have to be in a hurry.
The whole Course in Miracles isone year, 365 days, and it goes

(52:36):
deep.
This is getting close to likethree quarters through it.
Yeah, and this part is based onwhat is forgiveness.
That's the foundation of thisseries of 10 lessons we're on
right now.
What is forgiveness?
So today, right, oh, is what asalvation?
Oh, okay, what is salvation?
Okay, all right, that must'vebeen, that must've been last

(52:59):
week.
Yeah, yeah, what is what issalvation?
So today, it's remembering.
I am your son again and youhave given us the word, which
you have given us, that we aresaved.
So, hooray, everyone, yay, thank you, I love you.
Got two more at Namaste.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents.
