Please help me welcome ClaudetteRoss to the show.
I'm so excited to have her backon today.
(01:00):
She is a dear friend, and I'vehad the privilege of walking
alongside her in some of herjourney the last um couple few
years.
She actually came on back inNovember.
It was November 10th.
The episode was released in2023.
And her episode is number 33 ifyou wanted to go back and listen
(01:21):
to more of her story.
But even since then, a lot haschanged and some things have
pivoted in her life.
And I just want to have her backon to share where she's at and
what's going on in her life.
So would you just briefly sharea little bit about yourself and
we'll get into what you're hereto share about today?
SPEAKER_01 (01:39):
Hi, Kristen.
Thank you so much for having meback.
I'm so excited to be here.
Um, I am still living inbeautiful Nova Scotia, Canada,
and um loving the time here bythe ocean.
Um a lot has changed since thelast time I was on your podcast.
Um, you know, huge pivot.
(02:01):
Um, this year was the year ofchange for me, was the word the
Lord gave me.
And boy, did he ever changethings in my life and um very
exciting things.
Um, there's been huge changesover the last few years, since,
you know, and um one of thebiggest changes is that he's um
really filled my life with a lotof color.
(02:25):
A lot of color, and thatinvolves painting.
So he's taken me down on thatjourney of painting.
I I do prophetic painting, andthat's what I'll be talking
about.
And um, it's it's certainly allthrough him.
I'm you know, I'm taking actionof listening to him and doing
the things, but he certainly is,you know, speaking to my heart
(02:47):
all the time.
SPEAKER_00 (02:48):
Yes, absolutely.
And I've I've seen so much ofwhat you create with his
intention behind the paintbrush,right?
So, how long have you beenpainting?
Like, have you always been intolike creative art, all that kind
of wonderful, like creativeexpression?
SPEAKER_01 (03:07):
Um, actually, oh
it's only been a couple years.
I mean, I did paint um, I thinkback in 2018, just a couple
little things, but nothingmajor.
Um, I was never really someonewho was like drawing or that
type of thing.
But a couple years ago, he justlike it was, I think in uh
January um 2023, it was, and hejust kind of inspired me like to
(03:33):
just go pick up paints andpaintbrush and start painting.
And I was like, okay, so I, youknow, I started painting with
acrylic, which I still do paintacrylic, and so for that full
year I was painting acrylic, butthen last year, um, in the
beginning of last year, it wasjust like I just felt this like
I really want to try outwatercolors.
(03:54):
So I started painting withwatercolors, and wow, like it, I
was just like, like he juststarted me off with I was like,
Yeah, I was driving down thedriveway.
Um, I felt the Holy Spirittelling me like to take a photo
of the sky, right?
Because I take a photo a lot ofthe sky, the clouds, and and
(04:14):
when I got back, I looked at myphotos and there was actually a
rainbow around the sun.
And so he asked me, you know, orlike it was prompting me to
paint that, what I had seen, right?
And so I did, and then just likehe started just like spilling
words to me of you know, words, and I was like writing things
out and right, you know, andwriting on the painting and
(04:37):
writing scripture and stuff, andI was like, this is really you
know, this is really neat.
And so I just started likepainting, you know, whatever he
was putting on my heart, and andum yeah, like it was just it's
really kind of cool.
SPEAKER_00 (04:51):
Yes, I I mean I've I
remember seeing some of the
early paintings you did, evenwith the acrylic, and um
obviously, like as you said, youknow, this is really new.
So 2018 was that you said whenyou had your first kind of you
were kind of dabbling a littlebit in the arts a little bit,
(05:11):
yeah.
So even uh were you painting asa child or coloring?
Do you remember as a child beingfascinated by painting or
anything?
SPEAKER_01 (05:22):
No, no, just you
know, not really.
I mean, just you know, color andcolor and pages and stuff like
that.
And and back then, like ifwatercolor just seemed like it
was just like you know, you puta little bit of dab, a
paintbrush, and a little bit ofwater with like that little
puck.
It was like a uh color puck, andit just really didn't seem to do
(05:43):
anything for me.
Do you know what I mean?
Like I but now like I cannot getenough of using watercolor of
painting, and just it's justlike wow, and when I first
started doing it, I didn'trealize the magnitude that it
has and the impact not just onme but on other people.
(06:06):
And I started like just youknow, painting, writing, and
then what happened is a couplemonths into this, um, I shared
this with someone becausesomeone started asking me about
my notebook, and I shared itwith someone, and I didn't even
know this person.
He this person was a stranger tome.
And as he was looking through mynotebook, he had tears coming
(06:29):
down his face, and he was like, you know, like he who was just a
new Christian for like the lastnine months or whatever, and and
he was like, These are like allof the verses that the Lord has
been showing him in his life, and I almost felt like handing
him over the notebook saying, like, okay, you can have this,
but then the Lord was justsharing with me, like, not yet,
(06:49):
like this is something that'snot just for him, it's for
everyone.
And what I'm gonna like putthis, this is gonna end up going
in a book, you know what I mean?
And I'm gonna be able to sharemy paintings in a book so people
can like purchase the book sothey can have them.
And it's not even like there'sthe paintings, there's the
verses, but there's also even astory behind that.
SPEAKER_00 (07:13):
Yes.
Well, do you do you recall likeyour first painting?
What it was was it the rainbowaround the sun, or was it the
rainbow around like with thewatercolors?
SPEAKER_01 (07:23):
Yes, it was the
rainbow around the sun.
Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_00 (07:25):
How about the
acrylic one that you did?
SPEAKER_01 (07:28):
Um, I'm not sure the
very first one.
I have a feel like they're juston like a five by seven.
I still have them.
I didn't don't have the dates onthem, but one was of um it was
just a cross that I seen like avision.
The cross was actually standingup, like the cross was, but then
(07:50):
there was like other crossesthat you know, like kind of as
when you move something in slowmotion, and then you kind of
still see that, you know, crosscoming up.
So I painted that, and then Ishowed it to a friend of mine,
and she was like, Oh mygoodness, she said when she was
a little girl, oh, and I alsohad like there was like a fire
around the cross, and she saidwhen she was a little girl, she
(08:14):
actually painted that samepainting when she was little.
Oh wow.
SPEAKER_00 (08:19):
I was like, I was
like, What?
Yeah, so wow.
So it's like it's obviously likevery beyond you, right?
Yes, wouldn't she say?
Oh like did you did you everthink that you'd be able to do
this and and have it turn out sobeautiful?
No, yeah.
Yeah.
(08:40):
Well, I remember um because Ithink in pictures a lot, and
I've always said, oh my gosh, Iwish I could like I wish I could
paint what I've like havevisions of, and maybe I will
someday, who knows?
I've actually somebody gave me aprophetic word about painting,
and I was like, I don't evenknow about that.
But anyways, that's probably foranother day.
But I was do you remember mesaying, Oh, I wish I could paint
(09:03):
what you know what I'm seeing, and um, I like to make graphics,
but I had a client who had thisamazing vision um during one of
our coaching calls, and Iconnected her to you.
We won't name her name oranything, but do you recall like
kind of having that connectionand being able to um create
(09:23):
something for somebody that Iwas working with?
SPEAKER_01 (09:26):
Mm-hmm.
Exactly.
Yeah.
And the thing is, is there'sbeen two people in the States
actually that have contacted me,and of course, through you, one
of them was through you, um, andhad me paint their vision.
And then, yeah, so I've sent, you know, I've you know, sold a
couple of the um paintings thatI've done, like other people's
(09:48):
visions.
And the really cool thing forone of the people was that they
told me what they had seen.
And so what I did is by whatthey told me, I painted what
they had seen, like what I myperception of what they had
seen.
Okay.
And when I painted that visionof what I seen, she was like,
(10:09):
Yes, that's it.
But it she explained a littlebit more.
So I said, Okay, so I'll paintexactly what she's saying.
So I painted my perception ofwhat she had said, and then I
painted exactly of what she wassaying, and the one that she
chose was my perception.
Oh wow, that's the one shebought.
Wow, isn't that incredible?
(10:30):
I know I was it was funnybecause I was kind of thinking,
you know, I really like thatone.
Like that one is so beautiful.
Like it even spoke to me, butthat's the one she bought, and
that's the original that shegot.
SPEAKER_00 (10:41):
That's so
incredible.
Well, is that I mean, is thatsomething that you would be open
to doing for somebody?
Like as oh yes, somebody reachout to you and be like, because
let's just kind of back it up alittle bit.
Back, you know, a couple ofyears ago, you were flowing in
something different with likedream interpretations.
So if somebody were to havemaybe a dream, this could be
(11:02):
like I'm almost hearing like anartistic interpretation that you
could provide to somebody,right?
SPEAKER_01 (11:07):
Exactly, exactly.
I mean, I still I still dabblein that and helping people, but
this this prophetic, like thevisions and painting the visions
and people's visions andpeople's dreams is right at the
forefront.
SPEAKER_00 (11:22):
Okay, awesome.
And so you recently birthedsomething.
Do you want to tell us a littlebit about that?
Yes.
SPEAKER_01 (11:30):
So um I have a
website that's up and running.
Um I, you know, was very happy,um, very happy that the Lord
provided by my paintings that Isold actually paid for the
website.
Isn't that incredible?
So, and I also had a local lady,um, uh her name is Monica Stark.
(11:54):
Uh, she lives on the island hereum on Dickaby Neck, and she um
built my website, and the workthat she did was absolutely
stunning.
And the thing that I want it themost is that I really want it
when people go to my websitethat they really can feel, they
get the feeling, they can evenfeel the Holy Spirit.
(12:17):
And I have had people that havegone to my website that maybe
don't have um a really strongconnection with God, and they
have all they've told me thatthey can they can feel
something, they might not knowwhat it is, but they feel
something.
SPEAKER_00 (12:35):
That's incredible.
SPEAKER_01 (12:37):
No, it just that's
awesome.
Like I have every time I hearthat from someone, I had literal
God bumps.
SPEAKER_00 (12:45):
Yes, well, because
it's I mean, it's something that
is you know, it's a website,right?
It you would think that awebsite would just be a website,
but because you know the workthat you're doing is like so
inspired by Holy Spirit, ofcourse, they're gonna get hit by
Holy Spirit, right?
SPEAKER_01 (13:02):
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
I've had someone who becausewhen I do do my paintings, also
besides putting you know them onmy website, um, I share them
with people, like whoever theHoly Spirit wants me to share
them with, like I'll share thosepaintings with people.
And there was one a while back,I shared it with someone, and
(13:23):
she was like, that was like theanswer she was asking for.
She was asking the Holy Spiritfor an answer, and that was one
of her confirmations.
And she actually went on my siteand she bought that painting.
Oh wow, that's yeah, a print, aprint of that painting.
SPEAKER_00 (13:40):
Wow, which which one
was it?
SPEAKER_01 (13:42):
It was uh the
firewalker one.
SPEAKER_00 (13:45):
Oh, okay.
How many how many paintings haveyou done now?
SPEAKER_01 (13:51):
I I I've got over
I've got several notebooks, and
in each notebook, I thinkthere's about 30 pages, and I
yeah, so I have there's there'sa lot, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (14:03):
So do you have like
a I don't know, like I always
say like for people who maybewant to get into something, but
there's kind of some resistanceto getting into it.
Have you experienced anyresistance in like painting at
all, like getting into thatflow?
SPEAKER_01 (14:19):
Uh no, no, I haven't
at all.
I also do classes.
Um, I've done some classes.
Um I've also I've got that on mywebsite also that I do, you
know, some classes.
It's um it's amazing, even youknow, for someone who might
think they're not able to paint, what could pour out of them?
(14:40):
But I have for myself, I've nothad like any blockages or
anything like that.
It just pours out.
SPEAKER_00 (14:48):
Okay.
Um, so you said you haveclasses.
Um, I know you're in you're inCanada, so we're we're reaching
the nations here.
Are you ever gonna be doing anyonline classes?
Yes.
Yeah, I can do online classes, yeah.
Okay, so people can reach out toyou through your website if they
wanted to contact you aboutthat.
(15:08):
You have this the name of or thewebsite address right now, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (15:12):
It's it's uh
cjross.com.
So it's my my first initial, mymiddle initial, then my last
name.
So really easy, CJ and thenR-O-SS.com.
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (15:27):
And I'll be sure to
add her website in the show
notes as well.
So um, what what else will yoube doing with the art?
Like, do you feel like there's Iknow I've you mentioned that
you're gonna have a book comingout.
Do you know when that's gonna becoming out, real quick?
SPEAKER_01 (15:41):
Um, not sure.
Hopefully, well, next year.
It may be even the fall of nextyear because it takes a little
bit to get things.
I have all the material, it'sjust putting it together.
So um uh next fall, I don't havea date yet.
Uh, but that's that's kind ofthe goal for the for that book.
And it will probably even be,I'm not quite sure it could
(16:03):
possibly be a little bit of adevotion book, also.
So um the Lord's given me a fewideas.
He's got a few, I've got a fewideas, but they're kind of um
still kind of in the secretplace right now.
Um so very exciting.
SPEAKER_00 (16:18):
I love that.
I I've shared with peoplebefore, like obviously, we don't
share everything until it's timeto be shared.
So um that's beautiful.
What do you feel?
Um, you know, of these paintingsthat you've done, just even the
the watercolors, especially.
Which one is your favoritepainting that you've done?
(16:40):
Surrender.
Surrender.
SPEAKER_01 (16:42):
I have to say
surrender has I've even got a
hoodie now.
I ordered myself a hoodie.
So I have the the lady who's inthat photo is on the I've got
her like on the front of myhoodie, and then on the back,
I've got surrender and thenJames 47.
And that painting, I don't knowwhat it is about that painting,
(17:04):
but that painting speaks to meover and over and over again.
And I painted that I think itwas earlier this year in
January, is when I painted that.
And it's still speaking to me.
And there's um a church thatI've been attending, and one of
the ladies because some of thesepeople are still new to learning
(17:27):
about the prophetic painting, and one lady told me um that I
just met here not too long ago.
She she was looking at thatpainting on my website, and she
said that verse, um, James 4 7has been like her main verse in
her life.
And then she said, the otherverse, which I can't think of it
(17:49):
off the top of my head, it's onPsalms, that's also written on
that same painting is one that'sbeen recently coming to her.
Wow.
Before she even seen mypainting.
Don't you love it?
Yeah, and the other part that'sreally cool about all of this is
that on Sundays or even onSaturday evening when I go to
(18:11):
church, um, when I'm painting, the painting normally seems to
have something to do, because Iusually get the painting done
before um the minister speaking.
And most times it has somethingto do with like the sermon, but
it's already been painted.
SPEAKER_00 (19:46):
Wow.
And are you painting like whilethe worship is is yes, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (19:52):
Yeah, there's a um
I'm attending a church right
now, and um there's lots ofworship in before there's lots
of like lots of worship.
And so during that time ofworship is when I paint.
Okay, and then and then by thetime the minister's speaking,
the painting is done.
Wow.
(20:12):
So are you like up on stage orare you sitting like no, no, I'm
just I'm just sitting, yeah.
I'm just I'm just sitting andand painting.
I've been invited to go up frontand paint.
I haven't done that, you know,yet during a service.
Um, but I do feel like I will bepainting during services, during
(20:33):
conferences.
I do feel that that is comingvery quickly.
SPEAKER_00 (20:38):
Yes.
What is like how long does itusually take for you to to paint
like like the surrender paintingor any of your other paintings?
Like I I feel like we just kindof want to bust down some walls
for people, even today, who arelike, Well, I don't have time
for that, I don't know what todo, I don't know anything.
Um, I mean, does it take a longtime to do a watercolor
(20:59):
painting?
SPEAKER_01 (21:00):
No, I can paint a
painting anywhere from 15
minutes to half an hour.
Really?
Yeah.
Even when you first got started?
Uh it was probably 45 minuteswhen I first.
Start it, but it depends on howdetailed it is.
If it's not that detailed, itcan be within 15 minutes.
(21:23):
Wow.
SPEAKER_00 (21:23):
And are you are you
just freestyling?
You're not like you're notsketching anything.
SPEAKER_01 (21:28):
I'm not sketching
nothing.
Everything that I do isfreestyle.
Now I did just um go andpurchase myself a watercolor
journal, but that was just forand I did do a drawing in that.
Um, but that's just for it's notthis is something new.
This is another added part toit.
(21:48):
Um, when I as soon as I getideas, I'm joting them down.
SPEAKER_02 (21:52):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (21:53):
And then I may not
paint that till a little bit
later.
Um, most times though, mosttimes when I'm painting like on
Saturdays or Sundays or throughthe week, it's just like in the
moment.
And sometimes the Lord justgrabs my heart and He's just
like, You need to paint thisnow.
Like, stop what you're doing, paint now.
And it's so funny because thosepaintings are quite something
(22:15):
like.
SPEAKER_00 (22:16):
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Well, I love I know I love someof the paintings you've done.
Cause I don't think that you'vedone this on all of them, but
some of them have kind of likethat glimmery, shimmery.
What do you what do you callthat?
Like, is it a surface?
SPEAKER_01 (22:28):
It's a shimmer, it's
a shimmer watercolor, and most
times I'll put that on at theend, and it really, if you're
just looking straight on at thepainting, like through a
picture, you don't really seeit.
But for someone who has theoriginal, it like shimmers, it
makes gives it a whole differentlook.
(22:49):
Yes, it brings it to life, likeit really makes it lively.
SPEAKER_00 (22:54):
Yeah, well, I I love
like what he's doing in and
through you, and I know thatthere's gonna be like so much
more that we can't share yet, right?
Um, so I feel like part of youknow, this journey, even having
you on again today, you know, would you just even speak to
somebody who, you know, feelslike whether they, you know, had
(23:16):
kind of a creative burst waswhen they were a child, and then
something kind of like stoppedit up, or you know, maybe
they're feeling prompted to try,you know, getting back into art,
but they're they are havingresistance.
Like, would you be able to kindof talk to them about, you know,
what that might look like forthem to encourage them to step
into this again?
(23:36):
And and like, how does it likehelp you in your life?
Like, is there, you know, do youhave you found you've had a lot
of breakthrough just even inbeing able to step into this
creative space?
Because I don't think we do thatenough in our lives anymore.
Like our world is so fast andtechnological, all the things,
right?
So you're actually using yourhand to do something that is
(23:58):
outside of a computer, right?
Would you talk to them a littlebit about that?
SPEAKER_01 (24:03):
Yeah, for sure.
Um, what I would say is thatthere is so many times that the
Lord is really speaking to us.
And when we really hone in andlisten to what he's saying,
like, you know what I mean?
Like someone who has even beenpainting when they were younger
or they feel like they have ablockage right now, like you can
(24:24):
like just pick up those paintsor pick up those pastels or pick
up that pencil and just start tojust go with it, like just draw
or paint or sketch, and becauseyou never know when you first
start, like when I even when Ifirst started painting, it was
like, what is this?
(24:45):
Like, what is this gonna be?
But as you continue to create, because we're all born creative,
and as you continue to create onthat page, what may even look
like a mess or a disaster couldturn into something beautiful.
Like, for an example, I a coupleweeks back, I started painting I
(25:10):
thought what I was gonna bepainting was nowhere, it's not
even to where I thought it wasgonna be.
That was like the the umpainting of firewalker, Holy
Spirit firewalker.
When I started painting thatpainting, I thought it was gonna
be something totally different, and then the Lord just
redirected my hands, and when Iwas I was like, what is this?
(25:32):
This does not look like what Iwas you know painting, and he
took it in a whole differentdirection.
So we again we are all borncreative, whether even if it's
someone who you know doesn'tthink they could sing, you can
sing, or someone who doesn'tthink they can dance, you can
(25:53):
dance as long as we are doing itin the spirit, and another thing
that's so powerful is this isall spiritual warfare.
There you go.
It's all spiritual warfare,whether we're singing, dancing,
drawing, painting, you know, creating in all those different
(26:15):
ways, it's all spiritualwarfare, and you can do it.
SPEAKER_00 (26:19):
Yes, that's so good.
I I feel like somebody's gettingset free with what you just
shared for sure.
I mean, just think of likeJehosaphat's army, too, right?
They were sent in with a wartimestrategy of singing, right?
It it sounded silly to twoothers, I'm sure, but they won
the battle through singing,worshiping.
SPEAKER_01 (26:43):
And I have this
little book here that I'm it's
funny because when I came intothis call, it was like the Lord
said, Pick up this book, take itwith you.
It's just a book of likeillustrated Bible verses, and I
opened up this page and it says,Do not be conformed to this
world, but be transformed by therenewing of your minds, Romans
12, 2.
SPEAKER_00 (27:03):
Yes, I love that
verse.
That's my birth verse, actually.
My birthday is too.
SPEAKER_01 (27:08):
Isn't that amazing?
Yeah, I just opened up to thispage.
SPEAKER_00 (27:12):
Yeah, how does how
does that speak to you, even
just that verse?
SPEAKER_01 (27:16):
Um it's with the way
things are right now, we really
need to renew our minds in theword and the living word.
And that I feel just gives usgives us a piece that just
passes all understanding.
SPEAKER_00 (27:37):
Yes.
What is what is your like go-to,like I call it kind of an
anchoring verse.
When what's one verse that youcling to in your life?
SPEAKER_01 (27:46):
Um Jeremiah 29, 11.
Yeah.
That is like just about how theLord is just um, I just gonna
think now.
I just got a blockage for aminute.
Uh, I have it painted on my it'spainted on a in my room in there
in my office.
Um, just about our plans.
(28:07):
Like he the Lord, he has ourplans like laid right out for
us.
You know what I mean?
Like just to he makes the way.
He's not out there, he's he'snot out there to harm us.
Like he's he has set those plansout and for us not to worry.
SPEAKER_00 (28:25):
That's so true,
right?
Especially, you know, in thisday and age, there's so much
that's attempting to cause fearand trepidation.
You know, there are a lot ofthings going on in this world,
of course.
Um, but how do you stay like inpeace?
Um, you know, besides getting inthe word, and you know, are
there other ways that you stayin peace during the day?
(28:48):
Because I know you have a lotgoing on in your life as well,
right?
SPEAKER_01 (28:50):
Mm-hmm.
Getting outside like is huge, like being out in nature is
huge.
And I find also that it seems tobe a whole lot easier for the
Lord, like he speaks to me, buthe speaks to me even more
outside.
Yeah, yeah.
Because you know, like he can,for example, that this was a few
(29:12):
years ago.
I was on the beach in Smith'sCove.
It was really calm.
There was not a breath of wind.
Okay.
The water was calm, and all of asudden behind me, it was like a
whoosh, whoosh.
I was like, what is that?
And it was the Lord said to me,My heart, he just like
impressioned on my heart thatthis was me.
(29:36):
It was him.
He made that happen becausethere was not one breath of
wind.
Wow, wow, and I'm like, wow, that is so amazing, you know.
Because if we are in our house, yeah, how could he have made you
know what I mean without scaringus, right?
Like you're not so outside innature, it's so it's so you
(29:59):
know, easy for him, and justlike with the eagles, like he I
see eagles all the time, and Inever ever seen eagles before
like 2000, when was it?
20 um 19 was the first time Iseen my first eagle, and I have
never stopped since.
SPEAKER_00 (30:20):
Yeah, isn't it
amazing?
And I I've it's funny becausepeople will say to me, like, how
do you see eagles all the time?
Well, first of all, you got toget outside, second of all, you
have to look up, right?
Because too many times peopleare like looking down on their
phone, they're not seeing likehis creation for what it is,
they're not seeing all thebeauty um that he wants to show
(30:42):
us.
I feel like every day we can seeso much, right?
If we just get out there andslow down.
Exactly.
SPEAKER_01 (30:54):
I I completely
agree.
Um, even like when I go and dosomething, it takes me forever
to get home because I'm alwaysstopping to the beaches.
And one time my aunt has said tome, she goes, I don't know how
you have time to do that.
SPEAKER_00 (31:07):
I said, I make time.
That's it, that's exactly whatit is.
Yep, you have to make time.
So when people say I don't havetime, what you gotta say, I got
you you have to make it.
Right?
SPEAKER_02 (31:22):
Exactly.
SPEAKER_00 (31:23):
Oh, well, Claudia,
you are amazing.
I have loved just you know beingpart of your journey.
I've had the privilege of, youknow, we I asked her about this
before we we got started.
Um, but she's been in a coupleof my uh group coaching
experiences, and we just wrappedup um a Living Fearless group
coaching experience.
Gosh, was that November?
(31:44):
I think it was October, October.
I can't remember.
It was October.
October, November in a whirlwindover here.
Um, but it was a beautifulexperience.
Um, and I asked if she'd be opento sharing a little bit about
her experience because I'm gonnabe having another um group
coaching experience starting onDecember 30th.
Now the Lord had me switch thename up a little bit from Living
(32:07):
Fearless to Living Fearless andFierce.
So um, would you be open to justsharing a little bit about your
experience so that others mightknow um what they could expect
if they were to jump in?
SPEAKER_01 (32:20):
Um, I have to say it
was um the Lord confirmed it for
me for sure, um, over and overand over again that I was to be
in that group setting.
Um, it was amazing.
Um, you know, just the things hecontinually confirmed.
Um, Kristen, like you're anamazing um mentor and coach and
(32:45):
friend.
And I just feel like it was likehe poured all over us, all of us
that were in that group setting, the things that the Lord
revealed, um, how he, you know, got us each of us to overcome
different things in our lives, and just being in that group
(33:05):
setting and also with being theone-on-one is part was part of
that group coaching that I wasin.
And that was also amazing.
Like you really do unlock eachperson.
Do you mean like the Lord hasreally blessed you with that,
um, to be able to unlock that.
(33:25):
Um, you know, it's like it'salmost like you hand us out a
key.
Do you know what I mean?
And and we can, you know, unlockthe door.
SPEAKER_00 (33:34):
Yes, that's so good.
Thank you for sharing.
Um, yeah, like I said, it's beena joy to like, I like to say a
joy to journey with you becauseyou are a delight.
And um, we we both similarly umjust have this we say wow a lot.
We both do.
Like I'm we're both like kind ofon Wonder Girls.
(33:56):
So um it's been incredible to tojourney with you.
And I know that there's so muchmore to come in your life.
What would you say, like justeven being part of the group,
what would what would you saylike was the biggest
breakthrough that you walkedaway with being part of that?
SPEAKER_01 (34:13):
My biggest
breakthrough.
Oh my, there was there was afew.
Um really taking that step out.
Like there are some things thatmaybe I didn't feel as maybe
before as comfortable to takethe step out to do, and just
(34:33):
knowing just the boldness, doyou know what I mean, of the
breakthrough and and gettingover being afraid to do
something, yeah, or being afraidto speak out about something I'm
not.
Yeah, I I am so fast that.
Yeah, it's done and over with,it's buried.
(34:56):
Like that to be I would highly, highly recommend that.
Do you know what I mean?
Like if you if someone's ifyou're sitting on the fence
deciding on should I do this orshouldn't I do this, do it.
Like, do it.
SPEAKER_02 (35:12):
Yeah, so good.
SPEAKER_00 (35:13):
Well, thank you for
sharing your experience.
Um, sometimes it's helpful tohear from others who've been
part, you know, of groups I'vedone or just the one-on-one
experience on its own.
And this one will also includeone-on-one um coaching to go
deeper because I just love goingdeep with people.
You know that about me, right?
Um so anything else that you'dwant to share today, um, as you
(35:37):
know, like I do this for theone, and actually Claudette is
probably like the super listenerof Hope Unlocked podcast.
I love it.
Um, is there anybody like ifyou're getting a picture of
somebody that's listening rightnow, is there anything else
you'd want to share with thatperson?
And then do you have any otherwords of encouragement or wisdom
that you'd be glad to speak overthem?
(35:59):
And then would you pray us outtoday?
SPEAKER_01 (36:01):
For sure.
Um, one thing I just want to sayabout your podcast is that I
have listened to many, many, many of your podcasts, and I
have enjoyed each one of them.
And out of each one, I havegotten something out of each
one.
Like, even if do you mean likeeven if it was something at the
(36:23):
beginning, I thought, oh, do youknow what I mean?
Is that something I need to?
Yes, it's something I need tolisten to, because in that
conversation, the Lord hadsomething for me in each of
those podcasts.
Wow, that's incredible.
So it it's amazing, like yeah,it's just amazing.
So I'm just saying that foranyone who is even listening to
(36:45):
this podcast, please go andlisten to other podcasts because
there is you just never knowwhat's gonna touch your heart.
Oh true, yeah, and what's gonnaspeak to you that could even
open a door.
There could even be a podcastthat opens a door to something
(37:05):
you didn't even think of doing.
SPEAKER_00 (37:07):
That's so true.
Thank you for sharing that.
So good.
SPEAKER_01 (37:11):
So that's huge.
Um let me think something inclosing.
I just oh, I just love how theLord just this is so funny.
So I opened my book, my littlebook that I have, just one other
thing.
And this is the verse, it'sJeremiah 29, 13.
You will seek me and find mewhen you search for me with all
(37:36):
of your heart.
Yes.
Yeah, so I just like that.
Is we just reach out and ask theLord for what he wants us to do,
he will tell us we turn on ourspiritual ears and listen and he
(37:58):
will speak to us.
Um, one thing is that there aredifferent people who have come
to me and have said, Claudette, you have a direct line to God.
And can you pray for this?
Which I don't mind.
I love doing that.
However, I say to them, you alsohave a direct line to God.
(38:21):
It's not just me, we all havethat direct line to God.
SPEAKER_00 (38:26):
Yes, it's so true.
And he speaks to us in so manydifferent ways, too.
SPEAKER_01 (38:30):
He does, he speaks
to us through in our dreams, he
speaks to us through other, heuses other people as vessels, he
speaks to us in nature, like hespeaks to us in so many
different ways.
It's it's amazing.
SPEAKER_00 (38:44):
Yeah, well, thank
you for like imparting that on
somebody today, just evenbringing in the verse to then
remind people to seek him.
He's he's he's actually waitingfor us to reach out to him.
And I think sometimes we, youknow, just again getting busy,
we get tuned in too much toother things, and he's like,
Turn the station over here.
(39:07):
Right?
Well, thank you for sharingthat.
Would you mind praying us outtoday?
SPEAKER_01 (39:12):

Lord.
I am praying for a rippleeffect, Lord, that this will
reach the nations, HeavenlyFather.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen, amen, amen.
SPEAKER_00 (40:19):
Amen.
Well, again, would you remind ushow listeners can contact you?
And then, as I mentioned, I'llget I'll get this added to the
show notes as well.
Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_01 (40:29):
I have a website out
there.
It is cjross.com, which iscjros.com and very easy to
remember.
Sounds good.
And are you on all the socialsas well?
I am, and those socials are alsoin that website.
SPEAKER_00 (40:49):
Okay, perfect.
So you can just get directedright through there.
Awesome, amazing.
Well, I'm gonna close with ouranchoring verse for hope
unlocked.
It's may the God of hope fillyou with all joy and peace in
believing, so that by the powerof the Holy Spirit you may
abound in hope.
And that's Romans 15 13.
So thank you, Claudette, forbeing a brave voice who's
(41:09):
setting others free.
