"Marcus Alqueres is a Canadian-Brazilian filmmaker and commercial director. His works have been featured around the globe, including his critically acclaimed short film, The Flying Man, with over 20 million views, currently being developed by Sony/Columbia Pictures as a feature film, with Marcus attached to direct. In advertising, Marcus directed campaigns for Samsung, Honda, Volkswagen, Pepsico, Nextel among others and have been nominated twice for the Young Director Award in Cannes for his commercial work.
Marcus also has performed accomplished works within the visual effects department on blockbusters such as 300, Rise of The Planet of The Apes and Tintin."
