In this captivating conversation with numerology expert Remington Donovan, we journey into the mystical world of numbers and discover how they can reveal profound truths about ourselves. What if the numbers that keep appearing in your life are actually messages from the universe? What if your birthdate holds the key to understanding your soul's purpose?

Remington shares his extraordinary upbringing in an ashram founded by Swami Satchidananda, where he was immersed in spiritual teachings from childhood. This unique background led him to explore Western hermetic mysticism and ultimately develop his expertise in numerology. With disarming humility and clarity, he breaks down complex concepts into practical wisdom anyone can apply.

Discover how your birthday creates a personal numerology chart that reveals your soul number, karma, gifts, and life path. Learn why those with soul number 10 possess "star power" that thrives when expressed outwardly, and why those with life path 8 carry abundant healing energy. Remington explains what it means to be in a "nine year" in 2025 – a time of subtlety, refinement, and mastery that calls for a deeper, more sensitive awareness in everything we do.

The conversation takes fascinating turns as Remington shares the story of unexpectedly delivering his daughter and previews his upcoming book on angel numbers – those mysterious repeating sequences like 333 or 777 that appear in our lives with uncanny timing. He emphasizes that numerology isn't about predicting the future but providing a framework for self-discovery: "Know thyself. The numbers help you do that."

Whether you're a numerology enthusiast or completely new to the concept, this episode will transform how you think about the numbers in your life and open your eyes to the subtle messages the universe might be sending your way.

story and ultimately to revealsomething about you Know thyself

The numbers help you do that.

Welcome to the House of Germarpodcast, where wellness starts

I'm your host, jean Collins, and today we are talking to
Remington Donovan.
I am so excited to talk to him.
He is a spiritual guru, he is anumbers expert and he has two

(01:07):
books out.
He has a third one coming outand I am just so excited to talk
to him about his background.
He also has a podcast.
He has a company called theMystical Arts Mystery School, so
he is just a wealth ofinformation and I had the
pleasure of being on let's callit a Zoom call of education
about numerology as we startedto enter the nine year, and I
got to listen to him and I justfound him so fascinating so I

(01:29):
reached out to ask him to be aguest to educate us about
numerology and also talk abouthis new books, which is Angel
Numbers, which is, oh, I'm soexcited.
So, remington, welcome to theHouse of Germar podcast.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Gene, thank you very much.
I love doing this.
I love talking especially aboutnumbers and sharing.
Thanks for getting a numerology.
You're having a double nine youjust revealed, so we might have
to share some of those secretswith your audience.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
We can, we can.
So, before we talk about itbeing a nine year, I'd love to
share a little bit about you andyour background.
And how did you, you know, become the master of numbers?
Let's call you.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Well, okay, First just disclaimer I have teachers
that said I'm a masternumerologist, so it's not a
self-imposed title and a lot ofthat was a lesson, that if a
teacher sort of declares that, you just humbly say OK, yes, All
right, so it's not like full ofyou know S-H-I-T.

(02:31):
But I spell out swear words now.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I was going to say because you have little kids.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Yeah, we just had.
My wife just gave birth, likethree weeks ago, congratulations
, which is a crazy story becauseI wound up delivering the baby.
But yeah, well, I grew up.
You know, I grew up in aliterally an ashram that was
founded by Swami Satchitanandaand he was one of the big Indian
gurus that came over in the 60sduring the, you know, the

(02:57):
hippie movement, and he helpedopen the Woodstock concert, you
know, in New York, and he wasalways giving talks about peace.
I really attribute Satya Nandafor having yoga as we know it be
as big as it is in the West andthey sort of established some
of the first teachers, trainingsand things like that.

(03:19):
And I actually the ashram thatI mostly grew up on is started
in New York City and was inConnecticut and then eventually
relocated.
So I mostly grew up inConnecticut on a like ashram
commune.
But I grew up learning about allthese different religions,
spiritual stories.
I had to teach yoga as a sevenyear old, so I learned all this,

(03:40):
not just yogic philosophy.
The kind of the message at thattime was world peace, you know,
hey, all religions areessentially saying the same
thing.
Truth is one, you know, pathsare many.
You know I'm really sort of thefirst, some of the first
generation in this country, justsort of born into that and we
had our own school.

(04:00):
So I grew up literallymeditating, listening to mantras
, learning being around.
You know, a teacher at thatlevel learning it's not just
like the pose, it's his entirelifestyle.
You know my homeworkassignments were like paint
pictures of Buddha becomingenlightened.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
You know I'm like seven years old your average
American childhood?

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yes, yeah, totally Really.
There was a part of me thatwanted to be very red blooded
American.
It was like the zeitgeist of,like I'm a little boy and like
Kiss was popular and you know, star Wars and things like that.
I wanted to join the Boy Scoutsbut, you know, for that I might
as well become like animperialist war criminal or
something, compared to all thesemonks meditating.

(04:43):
But you know, so I grew up, youknow, immediately exposed to
many different spiritualities,different traditions.
I, you know, I had to meet fromlike Catholic monks to rabbis,
to clerics, to Shinto priests, like the list goes on.
So I I feel that my interest inthis is actually very natural,

(05:06):
Like I still believe I chosethat incarnation.
But then as a teenager, Istarted to just find my own way
with things that would beconsidered more quote Western,
and that sort of started me downa road of exploring, you know,
ancient European traditions, youknow witchcraft, the pagan
roots, and then that eventuallyled me to mystical Kabbalah,

(05:28):
hermetic mysticism, and that's alot of the foundation of the
numerology that I do.
But, you know, mysticalKabbalah seamlessly incorporates
astrology, tarot, numerology, and not, as you know, mechanisms
of forecasting, but more astools to unravel the mystery of
your soul.
So ultimately that's what it'sfor, but it's also you got to be

(05:51):
able to apply this practicallyright, otherwise it's just heady
philosophy that you can reallyget lost in it.
As a teenager I literally foundmy way into being taught where
a lot of this is handed down,it's taught in secret, there's
books out there, but a lot ofit's not even in the books.
So and then I kind of, just, living in Los Angeles, it turns

(06:14):
out growing up on an ashram, dedicating your life to studying
an obscure, you know Westernhermetic mysticism is like a
tangible skill set that ismarketable.
So LA really helped me openthat up.
And then I had clients and I doa lot of one-on-one sessions
and things like that and then Istarted writing the books.
So numerology is just like it'sall integral as like a mysticism

(06:38):
.
The mystic in the magicaltradition, which is sort of my
upbringing, the mystic in themagical tradition, which is sort
of my upbringing like as moreformally I chose more as an
adult, is the uniter.
So there's like no differencewithin all of these different
traditions.
So you know it really just frombirth.
This has been my whole interestand like sometimes I think was

(07:06):
this because I was just born andthis was what I was exposed to,
but I really believe I chose itbecause I was already
pre-interested for manylifetimes.
I turned it into a thing andeven a career, because I think I
do it in a very practical waywhere it makes a difference.
So numerology is so layeredthat each number just unlocks so
many different mysteries andpoints of interest that your

(07:27):
consciousness and your mind cango off and tell a story and
ultimately to reveal somethingabout you know thyself.
The numbers help you do that.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
So interesting.
So I have read your book, yournumerology book.
I read the whole thing on aSaturday.
I just was so engrossed in itall and I commend you because
you've made it a fairly complexsubject.
You've made it pretty easy toat least understand and
understand how it impactsdifferent facets of your life

(07:58):
pretty quickly, so that peoplecan dip their toe into
understanding what numerology is.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Thank you.
That's like the best complimentfor me, because I was taught
like you always have to like ifyou say you're doing a reading
for somebody.
But I was taught always assumenobody knows anything.
They've never even heard theword numerology.
They don't even know what anumber is, let alone Mars, and
what that means in astrology orsomething, and what that means

(08:24):
in astrology or something.
So I was very much like taughtand trained how to speak in a
way that is accessible and notjust this far off, ultra heady.
You know intellectual notion.
What does this even mean toyour life?
How is the number five relatesto brushing your teeth?
You know something like that?

(08:44):
It's a destructive, forcefulnumber.
Right, you could use that forvengeance and anger, but you
know you're like get to cleaningyour teeth.
It's the same thing.
It's a scouring pad or a sword.
I know a lot of like literaturedegree people and writers more

(09:05):
in the literature vein, not liketeaching, and they think the
same way.
I've noticed Because mystical, you're just literally connecting
all these dots and it's likewhat we were talking about and I
thought we were recording hownumerology helps you.
Your job is to create a storyaround it and what does that
story mean for you?

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Yeah, so let's explain one thing for people.
So your book starts off withyour birthday, and from that you
end up being able to form achart about different numbers
related to your birthday.
So, just at a high level, because this podcast will come
out before your second book.
So I want people to go buy yourfirst book and then they can
buy your third book when itcomes out later.

(09:43):
But so, just to back up, soexplain to us the, let's say,
the symbolism of your birthdayand how the dates of your
birthday and when you were borncan translate to a numerology
chart.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Yeah.
So first let me state that itcomes with a little caveat of
the sort of viewpoint that yoursoul chose that birthday Right.
Somebody's listening.
They're going to be like well, numerology numbers are just a
construct imposed by thepatriarchy and you know whatever
.
Now we we go by the you knowGregorian calendar that we use.

(10:20):
But there's also no coincidencein numerology.
That's like the first, there'sno coincidence and there's no
rules, and I'll explain thatlater.
But as far as your birthday, you get like a chart similar.
Most people are familiar.
They have an astrology chart orwhatever.
I'm a Scorpio and then I have arising sign and things like
that.
So based on that, really simply, you have like the day you're

(10:45):
born is your sole number.
What day of the month are youborn on?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
I'm born on the 10th.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Okay, so you're a 10.
10 is a number 10s and 11s, wekeep them that way.
I'm born on the 28th, so youadd that up, I'm a 10.
But that's your soul and that'ssort of the essence of what
you're trying to come into inthis incarnation, right?
So you're like, okay, there'sjust five numbers.
The month you're born is calledthe karma and that's just what

(11:11):
you need to work on, right?
So it's not like you know thisheavy, you know the karma is a,
you know a biatch, and then youdie, kind of mentality.
It's just like, hey, this iswhere you might need to address
some more energy.
And then you have the year thatyou're born, the two digits

(11:32):
that becomes your gift, whichare sort of just your divine
talents.
It's your reminder hey, usethat.
Then you have your experiencenumber, which is the four digits
.
So everybody born in the sameyear has a similar frequency and
those are lessons.
And then you have your lifepath number, which a lot of
people are familiar because youadd up your entire birthday and

(11:53):
don't forget that.
Add up the four digit year, right?
So if you're born in 1990, makesure you add all that up.
But all of those, your gift isyour talent.
The experience is like what youhave brought to the table.
You might be really good at it,but you might be really good at
the negative side and I'llexplain that.

(12:14):
And then your life path isliterally here's the path and
the direction you go.
So your soul number really, tome, says a lot because it's like
your internal, it's like yoursweet spot, like you're doing
what you should be doing, likewe're both.
Tens and ten is the radiantbody.
It's more of a star.

(12:35):
I call it the star power number.
It's really about being.
It's a little more extroverted, putting yourself out there,
allowing yourself to be seen, and you'll see it.
Like I can look at people andhow they move their bodies and
what they're doing.
I usually can pick out most ofthe numbers that they operate.
But 10, like we both havepodcasts, we kind of put

(12:56):
ourselves out there Right.
So I know from my story is thatas I started to put myself out
there, more things started to,doors started opening up.
So you lean into this as aformula of success and every
number has tremendous value.
And when you have your simplelittle numerology chart, which
is very easy to figure out, itgives you sort of a little base,

(13:19):
a little instruction manual.
That the reason I do it is.
I found it profoundly accurate.
I'm like, oh, these fivenumbers.
And I'm like, wait, this is meCause the negative side of 10 is
being like I'm a total zeroloser, like you know I'm saying
that sort of an extreme, butit's like I shouldn't be doing
something more with my life.
But here I am, like you know, atotal putz or something like

(13:42):
that.
So every number can take anegative side.
So where 10 should beconfidence through a real place
of real humility, that becomestremendous confidence and you
should shine and you should putyourself in probably more of a
public profile to some degree.

(14:04):
Now you might you know thiscould be you know, you go into a
restaurant and there's always, like the star bartender, the
star server, hostess or whateverhost or whatever the case is.
You'll see those people inaction.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
I'm just talking about tens, because we have that
Because we are tens, but it'shelpful and I, yeah, I felt the
numerology chart the way it wasdescribed in your book.
I did it for myself and for mydaughter and I felt like it's so
described our strengths andwhat I felt like our energy was
and sort of like, yes, I dothink like my life path.

(14:38):
You know I'm an eight and I waslike I really do think the
description of a life path of aneight really defines me very
well.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
So that's improving, it's healing, it's adding energy
and life.
Right and you like.
I had a client once and she wasso fixated on this guy Right,
which is always challengingbecause you're like.
I don't know, you know it alsotakes two to tango, right.
So you know the charts mightline up, but you know the stars
haven't.

(15:05):
Like it's just there's egos, there's, but this person was an
eight and I was talking aboutthis life force, energy.
She's like what I don'tunderstand.
This person makes horror moviesabout like death, right, and
I'm like, but that's exactlyeight, you got life force.
The other trajectory is is it adeath force?

(15:27):
But also it takes a lot ofenergy to create film,
regardless of what it's about.
She just didn't get it.
But my intention too, with thisbook and my other book coming
out, which is just angel numbers, the me, hey, are you seeing 28
?
Or um, you know, 92, or three, three, three.
What does it mean?

(15:47):
Is to give like a.
I say it, there's a springboardfor your consciousness.
So it's like here's some clues.
But this isn't like a set instone spreadsheet of like
unfixed, unmutable laws of theuniverse.
There's here some generalconcepts and you're going to be
able to take it to another level.

(16:07):
But I'm so glad it resonatedwith you because that's like why
I do it, like this is literallymy living.
Every time I do a reading I'malways like I still have a sense
of wonder.
Yeah, wow, wow, oh my God.
Yeah, I nailed it, but I, youknow, like this, where the other
tool is that the practiceitself is a meditation, it's a

(16:30):
yoga and the practice opens upyour consciousness.
Where you come to those answersthat's the real kind of point
is, as you, as you practice itmore, you just start becoming a
numerologist and everything, notjust like obsessively tracking
numbers like a madman, like, ora mad woman, like I'm saying 25,

(16:50):
25, whatever there's like thatJim Carrey movie 23.
I don't know if you ever sawthat, but it's always.
That's what it's always like amad.
It's usually a madman, justlike losing their mind.
That's not what it is, it'smore.
You just start connecting.
It's about synchronicity.
Like I was talking to a I don'tknow, it was a year or two ago

(17:11):
our mutual friend.
They kept seeing like it was777.
I said, well, that's usually anopportunity for some sort of
upgrade.
And then all of a sudden youstart talking about it, you do
notice it more, but thensomething opens up, right, and
she got like a big job, like abig offer on something.
I was like there, that's 777.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
There it is, you know .
Yeah, I see ones a lot.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Oh, I love one.
One is in numerology charts ismore rare, yeah, but if you're
an eight like I could alreadytell that, like I could see
you're 10, you have a quality, aglamour about you, you present
well big energy, and then eightjust adds more fuel to that.
But it's like, at the end ofthe day, just the little bit

(17:56):
that I know about you evenperusing your website and things
like that is you're trying toimprove your healing.
Yeah, sure, it's a journey.
Healing doesn't have to bethrough medical or I'm a Reiki
master or whatever the case is.
It improves and energizes andmakes something more vital.
And do you have any sixes?
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Hold on.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Six is like order and harmony.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
I don't think I'm going to have any sixes.
My daughter does, so hold on,and then we're going to switch,
because then I want you to talkabout the nine year.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Yeah, All right.
Oh, but great story is myfather-in-law, who's a great guy
.
I mean, he's like you know,he's got like the Boston accent.
He's from that part of thecountry, kind of big energy, and
he told me recently when I wasfinishing up the edits of my
book the current book that Ijust sent off to my publisher is

(18:52):
like Remington, I'm seeing 333constantly, which is sort of a
number that's coming up becausethere's still work to do.
It's kind of like unresolvedissues.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
And I let him read my chapter in the book and he was
floored.
He was like this is exactlywhat I'm going through and it
was just administrative detailswith the business that he owns
with his brothers and it's likeunfinished, just it's paperwork
in this case logistics andthat's been pressing on him and
there's been a gravitationalpull that's sort of taking him

(19:25):
out of his head too much untilthis gets done.
And I'm like that's exactlythree, three, three is just
asking you to sort of roll upyour sleeves address details,
right.
And so he read it.
He's like, oh my God, this isexactly it.
So this is my dream for thisbook to get feedback when people
are like I'm seeing this number.
This makes so much sense, somuch sense.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yeah, so OK, so I found the pages Right.
So I'm going to interrupt youfor one second because I'm just
going to give you this intel.
So you have it as we talk.
So my soul is 10.
My karma is eight.
My gift is seven.
My experience is eight.
I'm a lot of eights.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
And my life path is eight.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
I have a friend with a similar amount of eights and
he has to do things like hikethe Appalachian Trail.
That's a lot of energy or it'sa lot of burnout, right.
But your gift of seven becauseI mean, I know on the outside
like you deal with a lot ofdesign, right Well, seven, your
natural talent is to beautify.
That's what seven does.
Seven makes the situation nicerand better.
It's the number of upgradesthat relates to Venus in

(20:29):
astrology or mystical Kabbalah, which is beauty.
And it's funny because I have alot of clients that are sevens
that do things, whether it's art, design, a lot of hairstylists,
makeup artists living in LA fora long time, makeup artists
that are working on film setsand everything.
But it's all about beautifyingto some degree to uplifting

(20:53):
others, or it's kind of like anemotional healer, a counselor,
if you will.
It creates hey, here's a safespace you can open up.
How can I help you have abetter, nicer life In ways that
relate to nicety?
And design is a big one.
Art is a beautiful space todwell in, yeah, and that totally

(21:16):
makes sense.
But eight is like that justgives you a lot of energy to
like do many different things, whether you're podcasting,
writing, books having clients, whatever the case is.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
It describes me well, yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
It's just like fuel.
It's kind of a simple likehere's the fuel and if you lean
that into sort of healing, you're here to just make things
better for others and all ofthese different, but the way is
to be a little bit more of astar with it.
Right, that's your, your soul.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Which is fascinating, I don't want to interrupt you,
but which is fascinating becausepersonally, it just I'm
expanding my brand, expanding mybusiness, really trying to
figure out where to focus moreof my energy on, and I found it
really helpful to read all ofthat because I feel very drawn
to this mission to want toempower women and to empower
women to become designers oftheir own lives, and that

(22:08):
mission feels much larger to methan just interior design.
Interior design feels like atiny little part where the
mission with the podcast andspeaking in books is so much
broader.
And as I was reading my chartand the characteristics of me
according to the chart, I waslike that's why it feels so
aligned and that's why it feelslike the right place for me and

(22:29):
I really feel very drawn to that.
When I was reading it and Ijust found it was really
interesting because it explaineda lot, because this is not what
I used to do.
I used to be in corporateAmerica, so it just explained a
lot about the things I feeldrawn towards right now, at this
stage of my life.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
That's so wonderful to hear.
The best thing I ever hear iswhen somebody it either confirms
like a big life switch orpeople lean into something
different.
But yeah, I mean.
But even like corporate America, especially if it related to
finance but eight wants to build, it wants to expand.
You know, I actually had aclient once or they had all

(23:06):
these eights.
And the thing is, eight doesn'tmean you're going to be a healer
, you're going to work infinance.
But it opened up the message inmy consciousness that I knew
that this particular personwanted to lean into career
bigger in finance, literallybanking and things like that.
And the guy just like thistotal, like on the surface

(23:27):
square seeming guy, he juststarted like kind of tearing up
a little bit.
He just started like kind oftearing up a little bit and he's
like that's actually what Iwant to do.
But again, it's a go big number.
So you need to be doing thingswhere you keep growing.
But you have this gift of seventhat wants to also help others.

(23:48):
So now you want to help othersgrow and come into their own and
come into their own power in abigger level.
That's all big power, energy, all those eights and a 10, that
has to go.
That has to go big.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
It's not even going home.
It describes me very well.
It describes me very well, so Iappreciate that.
So let's talk about nines, because we're in the year of a
nine.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
We are.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
And somehow I'm a nine in the nine year, which I
don't understand because ninedoesn't appear anywhere in the
rest of it.
So I don't even understand that.
But I'll let you explain it.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
It's sort of like if you were born in that year.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Got it OK for most people.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
There's even some deeper numbers that I didn't get
into in the book, called yourchallenge, which is your, since
this is in my book.
You take your gift number, thetwo digits that you're born,
plus your soul number the daysorry.
You take your karma number plusyour soul number, so your karma
is eight, and then plus 10,which really is one.

(24:54):
Well, that comes out to nine.
So that's an area that you needmore work on, and it just so
happens to be that it's a nineyear, right?
So, not in my book I'm givingyou a little more.
This will probably be book fouris your challenge number.
Now, that's not like, oh, thisis where you're going to have
hardship.
It's like your prompt, like, okay, I challenge you.

(25:17):
Here's your 40 day challenge toyou know, like whatever you
know, meditate every day orwhatever it is, or go jogging or
something, but it's basicallythe number.
Your number for the year islike if your birthday was that
year, and then there's amathematical formula Now, 2025,
it's real simple.
You add it up, right?

(25:37):
You know, two plus two plusfive, technically zero, but you
know, so that equals nine, it'sa nine year, and that hits the
collective energy.
So everybody's operating inthis arena and then you have a
personal number.
Yours happens to line up.
So nine is it's the penultimatestop before your bigger goals

(26:00):
come to fruition.
And this also relates to a lotof the numbers are rooted in
something known as the tree oflife in a tradition, mystical
Kabbalah.
Now if you start Googling orlooking up trees of life, you'll
see all different traditions.

(26:20):
I've been taught in a traditionthat spells Kabbalah with a Q,
q-a-b-a-l-a-h.
I'm just saying that if youstart Googling, you'll see
slight variations.
It's not that anybody's rightor more right or wrong, they're
just different schools.
And nine is like is the areawhere all of creation.

(26:43):
It's the last stop, it's thefinishing, refining area before
it becomes completely actualized, like manifest, some tangible
asset, like big corporation, they have a new product launch.
Whatever the case is, the nineis where, okay, we got, we have

(27:04):
it right, the test model, thisand that, but now let's just go
back over, let's, let'sabsolutely fine tune it in the
yogic teachings.
Nine is the number of subtlety, refinement, mastery, acuity.
It's really a number of acuity.
It's the master of all systems.
So there's an elegance and asophistication.
So if you approach like in thisnine year, it's very wide.

(27:29):
It's like just maneuvering verysagaciously, like you have to
apply a deeper, greater, moresensitive awareness.
You can't just like brute.
Eight is going to be more, Iwant to say brute force, but
eight's just like there's no offswitch.
Yeah, it's just like, let's justgo through.
I got this.
I got all the energy in theworld.

(27:49):
I can run a hundred milemarathon, but nine is going to
ballerina.
It it's more layered and Ialways kind of joke, but I'm
already seeing it this year.
The nine is so sensitive, right, it's deep psychic ability and
it's an awareness.
It's like hearing a pin dropyour neighbor's house a half
mile down the road.
I live in Vermont.
You know your neighbor's house, you know a half mile down the

(28:11):
road.
I live in Vermont, so it's alittle more rural.
But some people allow that.
Sensitivity is a great strengthand people misconstrued that as
becoming overwhelmed, right, like a spiritual germaphobe,
like, oh my God, everything.
You're imploding and you becomemore brittle and fragile.
So that's why it's important tojust be delicate and wise.

(28:35):
And what are the last thingsthat you need to do in order to
have the big goal come about?
And it's a message to be moredelicate.
Again, I'm probably being superredundant.
Whatever you're doing, applymore excellence.
It's very sophisticated.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Right.
You know, the bar is high.
The bar is high.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
The bar is high because, like through the eight
energy, if you take that youlearn the power and then you got
so good at it you get to becomea master at it, so you're not
applying the same amount ofenergy.
It becomes almost effortless.
And nine is an effortlessenergy, but for a lot of people
they're not at that level ofmastery, whatever it is.

(29:20):
So it's negative trajectory isjust imploding, self-sabotage,
like we started this year.
I told people all throughoutthe eight year that follow my
stuff I'm like you know nineyear people get weird.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Beginning is going to be rough.
The beginning was rough, Ithink for a lot of people, the
beginning of this year wasreally rough.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
It's like day one yeah, you're like terrorist
attack.
And then that weird cyber truckbombing thing.
You're like, okay, this is likeyou're, it's your subconscious.
So everything in a nine yearhits your psyche in a more
profound, deeper way.
The magical degen of thesubconscious is like this little

(30:00):
child part of us.
It doesn't necessarilydistinguish real from fantasy
and then it can blow everythingout of proportion.
That's what nine does.
It blows everything out ofproportion.
It's like the princess and thepea, right, but that's also
tells you.
If you're that sensitive and youyou know, I think the moral of
that story is it turns out shewas like royalty or whatever.

(30:23):
But if, if, like that littlegrain of sand somewhere is
agitating you, if you convertthat energy into look how this
little bit has that much of apowerful trajectory, well, what
if I just turn that on its headand say all I have to do is a
little bit and that has a morepowerful trajectory for success?

(30:44):
So this is a year to set upyour visions, what's happening
in your psyche.
So this like vision boards, great practice.
I don't know if your listenersare open or-.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
A lot of them are Into that.
Yep, we've had people ontalking about vision boards.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
So, yes, okay, good, I wasn't sure how Yep.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
I did a soul board this year too.
Soul board was cool.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Wait, I love whatever that is.
I have a sense of it, but I'dnever heard of that.
What is that?
A?

Speaker 2 (31:09):
soul board was really cool.
So, on a totally differentsubject, folks, but this is cool
.
So I did a soul board with awoman called Tarot Lori.
She goes by Tarot Lori, loriDean is her name, and so she
does this on Instagram.
She's Tarot Lori on Instagramand she did a soul board class,
which was very, very interesting.
You pull images.
He only needed, like, twomagazines.

(31:31):
You pull images from themagazines that resonate with you
, not because you say I want togo to Bali and I'm looking for
the hut over the water, right,it's images that resonate with
you.
And then you sit and you lookat the images and you it's like
okay, what is your gut intuition?
What do you feel about thatimage?
What is that image trying tocommunicate to your soul?

(31:53):
Not about what the thing is,it's what does it represent?
So, for example, I have an imagethat I picked from one of my
magazines.
It's a black and white roomwith a pink bench in it, and I
just was really drawn towards it.
I just think it's really cooland I like black and white, I
like the simplicity of it, butthe pink.
But so when we started to talkabout the pink, it was like that

(32:16):
is resonating with you becauseit's outside the box.
The pink is bright, it's areally bright light, it's
shining.
This aligns with, like theother things, of having your
voice, getting your voice outinto the world.
Shining it's because it'sbright and it's outside of the
box in a black and white world, and so you were standing out and
it was just such a fascinatingexercise to go through.

(32:38):
It just felt so much deeper tome than just I want to go to
Bali, I want to make this money,I want to.
It's like no connect with yoursoul and figure out what is your
soul trying to tell you thatyou want to do in this coming
year.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
I'd love that.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Right.
And then out of that I came outwith a mantra.
She suggested I come up with amantra and I did.
I came up with a mantra whichwas flow and fly, which is my
mantra, and I had engraved it'son a chain.
It's on the board in my wall inmy office.
But it was something that Iwould have never come up with,
that feeling and that soulmission for the year, for myself

(33:15):
, or mantra for the year, justby looking at all the pictures
of like I want to go to Greece,I want to go to London.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Yeah, I want a second home.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
I want a new Gucci purse.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Yeah, I want an apartment.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
I have one of those vision boards.
I have one of those too, but itwas just a really cool
experience just a really coolexperience.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Well, that's sort of the numerology in a sense,
because as granular as you couldget, it is also these broad
spectrum energies and that aremeant to resonate and hit with.
Ultimately, it's your soul'spurpose, which isn't stuff like
the stuff comes in.
It's really important.
I mean, that's been a lot of.
My personal journey is gettinga lot better with money and

(33:57):
things like that.
Yeah, you grow up in an ashramwhere you know people are
literally taking monastic vowslike they're taking vows of
poverty.
So I'm conditioned to thinkwell, you know, this is just the
material world and blah, blah,blah.
And it just took me a while tokind of get my act together and

(34:18):
I feel like that left a negativeimprint.
You know, I mean sure It'd benice, like I live in an ashram,
saunter around, eat mangoes youknow what I mean Like but that
still requires money and earthand growing that.
So people, there's a disconnectand when you're a child, this
is a great year for somethinglike that, because it's going to
nine is all about your deeper, deeper psyche.
It's the hidden realms, right,it's the number that's more

(34:39):
mysterious, which can bebefuddlement, but it's meant to
be about going deeper into whatmaybe, like you said, what does
that pink chair in a black andwhite room really mean?
Like you said, what does thatpink chair in a black and white
room really mean?
And I can tell you, I'mactually working on a course
that I'm going to release thisyear on color magic, which ties
into numerology, which will tieinto angel magic, which will tie

(35:01):
into astrology as well.
And so what is pink or what'sthe black and white?
So those colors, right there, Imean pink.
You could loosely attributethat maybe to five, or you can
combine red and white, and sothere's a hidden numerology of
that of six, which is aboutorder as well.

(35:22):
But anyhow, that's in the works.
So I'm going to be releasingthat this year because
numerology ties into the color.
But, like you said, this is agood nine because everything has
another layered meaning and, ofcourse, you could be that other
crazy person where everything'sa sign and everything is a sign

(35:44):
, like at nine, is you're areminder that everything is
actually connected, right?
So that's why I'm like, oh, I'mlike having all these tech
glitches.
I like there's a bunch ofthings around me that broke,
that were all sort of like justglitchy things, like the door
handle and I'm like, okay, it'san old door handle, I get it,

(36:07):
but why did that like all thetiming of now?
I'm like, okay, I gotta go tothe hardware store figure out
how to be the handyman, causeit's like that's Vermont, you're
just, you're on your own there.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
The handyman that you're not.
Yes.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
I'm learning, I'm learning.
You're learning, and it's anine year.
The nine energy again is ismaster, the master of all
systems.
So I should.
This was an opportunity for meto apply the nine energy and say
all right, how do I justinstall the new door handle and
lock?
That one's not too hard, butlike these little.

(36:42):
You delivered a baby this year,so oh yeah, I didn't even get
into that.
That was nine.
I totally we did.
We were all set up for a homebirth.
Yeah, and my wife wakes me up,like you know, early morning.
It's almost for a home birth.
Yeah, and my wife wakes me upearly morning.
It's almost 3 am.
She's like I'm having somecontractions, but I'm going to
probably just lie down.
I probably could even sleep alittle more and I was like, okay

(37:06):
, I'm going to stay up, I'mmaking coffee.
Then she asked me for somewater.
I'm downstairs this is 30minutes later, after she woke me
up all of a sudden, thebreathing, everything.
I could hear her and I'm likemessaging the midwife who's like
15 minutes away down the, literally, and I'm like, uh,
this is seeming more significant.
Now she's like, yeah, yeah, Ican, I can come by, but you know

(37:28):
, gina, my wife, she didn't.
I don't want to invade herspace.
We, you know, we figured outthis.
This is probably it, but it'sprobably going to be later, like
late morning, early afternoontype of thing.
And all of a sudden I go up, Ibring the water and then her
water breaks and then all of asudden, literally a few, 12
minutes later, she's like kindof in the type of part of the

(37:54):
labor, and then a few minutesafter that the midwife wasn't
here.
That's just, our daughter wasborn, like she birthed herself,
she delivered herself, but ithappened.
So it was all within 45 minutes.
That's crazy.
And it was all within sixminutes where I messaged the
midwife and I'm like it's reallyescalating.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
She's like yeah, I'm almost there 10 minutes away,
but that's not fast enough 3.38.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
I'm like she's here.
And then I was like I'm anastrologer, numerologist.
I was telling the midwife I'mlike, look, the exact time of
birth is very important to me.
She has an assistant here, I amholding the baby and I'm like,
oh shit.
I was like I have to record thebirth, I have to record it.
So I realized I got it and Ieven looked because I was like,

(38:42):
is it this?
You know 37 or 38?
And I actually looked at thedifference in the chart.
Yeah, sometimes a minute, and Iwas.
I just knew intuitively becauseit all everything was so fast
that even I was like, all right,I have the time, I don't have
it down to the second.
But I, that was a level ofconfidence and mastery that is

(39:05):
nine, because the midwife wasn'there.
Yeah, I had to take the baby, maneuver the umbilical cord,
hand her to my wife, and Ididn't.
I was really calm about it.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Good for you Because, well, I don't think I would be,
but good for you.

Speaker 1 (39:22):
Well, because the paradigm is like either.
It's always push, push, push,push.
And I knew from our last childmy biggest fear, what we did at
home birth, was what if?
What if he comes before themidwife, right?
And she just said if he'scoming that fast, that means

(39:43):
everything's going really good,right?
Yes, your problem's going to beif it went when it's longer.
So of course there's alwaysissues, problems happen.
But that little bit ofknowledge, it happen, but that
little bit of knowledge.
It's amazing how one little bitof knowledge you know sits in
your brain.
And then I don't know if it wasthe amplification of the nine
year I was like oh yeah, it'shappening really fast,
everything's fine.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
Like I got it.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
And I just so.
Then I'm kind of proud to belike, yeah, you know like I
delivered her, but I was like, okay, so where are you?
She's like I'm six minutes away, I just want vitals checked.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
Right, you're like I need I do need some help, like,
okay, yes, so let's switch gearsand I want to hear more about
your book that's coming out, theangel number book that you just
finished writing.
Talk to me a little bit aboutwhat that is.
So you're giving the listenersa sneak peek into that book.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
So the book that I just finished well, I finished
the manuscript.
There's always like edits andcleanup.
We're working on the design Isangel numbers.
Basically, we're still workingwith the.
It's going to be something tothe extent of what you're the
message from your spirit guides, but angel numbers loosely.
What is?
Are you seeing this particularnumber?
What does every number mean?

(40:54):
So the way I broke this bookdown, the popular ones and the
ones that you know in our sortof modern zeitgeist people refer
to are often the triple numbers.
You know 777 or 1111, quadruplethat's the big one, right 111.
So I have longer chapters onthose.
And then I break down numbersone through 99.

(41:18):
So this way, no matter what youcan now and I teach in the book
how numerology really is aboutstorytelling you know two rules
are there's no coincidence.
So if a number is showing uplike, why is that number?
Why are you noticing that?
You know and I get that there'sthat meme.
Like you see 1111 on themicrowave.

(41:39):
Now you know your life's goinggood, but there's no coincidence
.
Why did you happen to look inthe microwave at that moment?
This is the book I've beenneeding to write for so long.
And if you know one through 99,so let's say you're moving into
, you know 2589, you know ElmStreet or whatever.
Well, now you have these fourdigits.

(42:02):
You could look at two, five, eight, nine.
Chances are, I would suggest.
Well, you say at 2589.
So what does 25 mean?
What does 89 mean?
And you create a story and thatsays, hey, there's a frequency
there, these spiritual conceptsthat are rooted in what these
numbers mean.
I harmonized literally what isthousands of years that have

(42:26):
been handed down and around ofdifferent mystery schools and
traditions, the meanings peoplehave been cataloging myself as
well the numerical value ofwords, and a lot of it's from
ancient Hebrew.
So I know that not as a spokenlanguage, but I know how to

(42:46):
transliterate that there's awhole code of numerology in that
, but that also in mysticalKabbalah and in my tradition.
That then relates to, forexample, tarot.
What I'm saying is there's somany layers, but I took all of
this and I said all of this, what seemingly disconnected,
what would seem sort of likegibberish, it's like a little

(43:07):
oblique, and I harmonize it intoa concise message.
So this is the only book I know, this is the only book that's
going to take, say, 777, reallyrooted in tradition.
I'm not saying this is the onetrue tradition, but there's a
lot of just stuff out there thatI know people are just making

(43:29):
up, sure, and I got an intuitivedownload and there's some truth
in it, but I am like honoringthousands of years of tradition
and now I've just updated it.
Hey, here's the quick messagefor you, right?
Because even my publisher andI'm working with Penguin, who's
like a huge publisher A realdeal.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
It's an author, it's a real deal.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Yeah, my other publisher is dealing with
Chronicle, but they, you know, part of it is my office in
London got sold, not like theoffice I work with, but you know
, in my mind they're a littlemore square Like I'm dealing
with.
Yeah, man, I lived in L too,long, like there's a matrix rate
of numbers telling the storyand they're like I'm sorry what,

(44:13):
but my editor, who I do love, she's actually the one who
pitched it and she said in herhuge meeting with all these like
penguin people and execs andstuff, she said everybody got
the notion.
She asked do people, are therenumbers that you notice in your
life?
She said everybody got thenotion.
She asked do people, are therenumbers that you notice in your
life?
She said every single personraised their hand.
So even the most sort of square, staunchly rigid, there is no

(44:38):
mystery to the universe they getit.
So this just feels like mysoul's mission is to be like.
Finally, I need to answer.
I need to answer thesequestions because people be like
you know, I looked online andthey don't.
Google is not necessarily allsource of truth, right, and it's
not like I'm saying I'm nothere, I just know I have a

(45:01):
mission and I'm coming.
This is rooted in tradition.
This is, you know, this isrooted in thousands of years of
mystical Kabbalah tradition.
But it's not.
I didn't want, like no onewould know that, like I'm going
to write the book behind thebook, probably just for my
students.
That's cool.
You look up a number and it'slike the Asiya of the world of

(45:25):
formation, which is Yetzirah.
I'm like what the heck doesthat mean to any?
It's meaningless, but I knowthat that's a spiritual realm.
The world of formation is theideas, it's the Yetzirah.
So I'm like, well, this is sortof like creating something
almost out of nothing.
That your thoughts right.
I actually off the top of myhead I don't remember which
number that was, but so I justI'm able to encapsulate that and

(45:50):
, like you said in the beginning, I think I've just here's your
clear, practical message Likehow, what does this mean in your
life?
And three, three, three, whichis a powerful number of
unresolved issues.
That I my joke is what's comingback to haunt you, but really
is like you need to to.
You're, you're about to have asuccess, but there's more work

(46:12):
to do and you have to payattention to these details and,
like I said, my father in law,who has this big thing that he
needs to resolve with a familybusiness not any ill will, it's
just this needs to be squaredaway.
This is how a lot of secondgenerational wealth and
opportunities get lost, becausenobody did the legwork of

(46:34):
inheritance and chart.
You know what I mean.
So, like that's what's beenreally on his mind, it just is,
was exactly it.
But I I just want people, whenthey're seeing a number, I want
them to be able to open thisbook fast and it's like reading
a fortune cookie.

Speaker 2 (46:50):
I love it.
Oh, that's what it means.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Oh yeah, that's so true.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
Oh, I can't wait.
Now we're thinking that'scoming out in the late fall,
like November-ish.

Speaker 1 (46:58):
Yeah, it should be November.
They didn't give me the exactdate.
The books yeah, it's whatever.
The Penguin Fall releases.
That's available worldwide,Fingers crossed.
It's slated for sometranslations.
I don't want to jinx it.
My Prosperity Practices book isin French and in English.
That's amazing.
That's more just real visionboards.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
Yes, I've read that one too.

Speaker 1 (47:21):
It's a little bit my journey and story, but the
numbers are like this book needsto appear, because I've looked
at some other things and I'mlike this is, it's just
nonsensical, and this whoeverwrote this doesn't really embody
it or do it.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
I can't wait All right Before we run out of time.
I have two more questions foryou.
One is where can people findyou?
So where can they find you andhow can they work with you?

Speaker 1 (47:48):
I mean at this point, if you look up Remington
Donovan, it's going to show upthe website.
That's where some of myworkshops I'm working out longer
.
It's more of a workshop.
This is like a series of thecolor magic and how practical
color magic, which is numerologymagic as well.
My Instagram is where I post alot of info and that's the

(48:08):
mystical arts Remington Donovan.
I used to be plagued with fraudaccounts and impersonators, but
that's there.
Those are the best outlets.

Speaker 2 (48:18):
I will put all that in the show notes for everybody
too.

Speaker 1 (48:21):
Yeah, the Instagram is my main platform is when I
started and that's what's justsort of grew and it's good for
like lifestyle.
It's perfect, okay, which, in away, that's's just sort of grew
and it's good for likelifestyle.
Everything it's perfect Good,which, in a way, that's.
You know, in a sense, that'swhat I'm doing and sharing.

Speaker 2 (48:38):
But, I am.
I just I can't say enough LikeI am so excited for Angel, I am
too.
I can't wait.
I love it.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
My inbox is on every device and email and every
outlet is.
I'm seeing this.
What does it mean?

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Everyone wants to know.

Speaker 1 (48:48):
So I'm like you know what.
Go to the book.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
I love it.
Good, all right.
So before we go, one lastquestion about books.
I like to ask all my guests ifthere is a book that they can
recommend that has impactedtheir lives, personally or
professionally, that they thinkthe listeners should read.
So, other than yours, obviously, which we will put all yours in
the show notes.
Other than yours, which theyshould read everybody Numerology
, amazing book.
What book would you like torecommend?

Speaker 1 (49:13):
Actually, you know, just as you say it, there's a
book and I've recommended thisbook to a lot of my students.
It's called Turning Pro bySteven Pressfield.
It's like 100 pages and itshifted my consciousness,
especially as I was like how doI turn all of this into a
business or a living?
