When multiple residents of an Australian country town report seeing a strange object in the night sky, skeptical local cop Kyle Grinham takes upon himself to investigate. But as he does, Kyle stirs up all kinds of secrets in this sleepy coastal village - some of which are his own.

Why are people complaining about you, Kyle?
Why are you even talking to them when I gave you a direct order not to?
By the time I finish this sentence, I will have entirely stopped thinking about whatever

happened last night and if you choose not to do the same thing, fine, but I will tell
anyone who asks that you're deranged and they will believe me.
I told Father Fred and he laughed at me and I told him I was serious and he got angry,
I don't want you to get angry.
I won't.
It doesn't make sense.
