Now you might be wonderingwho this Ryan Nell person is,
(03:13):
other than the voice on the microphone!
So let me tell you just alittle bit about myself.
I got my first real job in an advertisingagency in Taiwan after I'd finished a
degree studying Mandarin Chinese and itwas a really amazing place to start out.
I had an incredible time, butcut to some 13 years later,
(03:34):
and I was still in that career,by this point back in London. But,
it was really high pressure,
I didn't recognize myselfvery much by the end of that,
and the bits of me that I didrecognize, I didn't particularly like.
I was really anxious I was so disconnectedfrom people who were really important
(03:54):
to me and I was just about ready toresort to anything to get my life back on
track. Really luckily, along theway I was turned onto meditation,
which was one of the healthierways that I dealt with my stress.
And the more I practiced and learned,
the more I knew I had to share it withthe world. I decided to start Levitate,
(04:15):
a meditation and wellbeing startup andcommunity based in London with a mission
to help improve people's mental health.
I trained as a meditation teacher atUnplug in LA under the brilliant guidance
of Davidji,
a multiple bestselling authorand stress management expert,
not to mention Vedic master, and Suze Yalof Schwartz,
(04:38):
the founder of Unplug,
because I wanted to learn from twopeople who've done an incredible job of
making meditation accessibleto people all over the world.
And since then, in thelast couple of years,
I've taught over 500 people instudios and workplaces across London,
I've collaborated with some amazingpartners and other teachers,
