page heatherleighstrom.com andfind out exactly where you can order
that book. If you are curious,it's very good information. I highly
recommend it. But today'stopic is pain and spiritual growth
(03:31):
and I'm really excited aboutthis topic. There seems to be a lot
of interest here here in thistopic based on what I've seen, the
reactions I've seen on mypage. Does physical pain have anything
to do with spiritualawakening? So that's what we're going
to talk about tonight. I wantto know if you have struggled with
(03:53):
nagging pain or even maybe adebilitating pain through your life
that just wouldn't go away.Like you tried everything that you
could to alleviate this painand nothing worked. That's. That's
the story I'm going to tellyou tonight. I'm going to tell you
about my own experience withpain that I couldn't get rid of.
(04:14):
And even as a medicalprofessional, I couldn't find any
answers. So you guys are notalone. You know, being the layperson,
experiencing a lot of pain inyour life and can't. Not being able
to find the answer to it.That's what we're going to talk about
tonight. It seems to be anepidemic. There are quite a few people
walking this planet who carryaround a lot of pain because they
(04:35):
found no other way to existwithout it. And it's not a very good
way to live. I want to give mydisclosure here for this discussion.
I'm sharing my experience withyou and a channeled message from
the canine guides regardingits meaning. But in no way, shape
(04:56):
or form is any of thisconsidered or meant to be substituted
for medical advice. So I'mjust going to lay that out there
right now, get that out of theway, all the legal stuff. So what
significance does pain have ona spiritual level? So if you have
pain in your body, is there aconnection between that pain and
(05:18):
a spiritual meaning, aspiritual lesson or a spiritual message?
What does that pain mean? Andthis is a very fascinating topic
to me. I've spent 30 years asa physical therapist, and chronic
pain is certainly a commondynamic in my profession, not only
(05:41):
with my patients, but alsowith myself. I have suffered chronic
pain for my. With my neck forover 30 years. So we're going to
talk about that and how Ifound my way out of it. In fact,
the main reason I even becamea physical therapist back in the
(06:02):
1990s was so I couldunderstand my body better. But I
found that my education and mytraining just wasn't providing enough
answers, especially where mybody was concerned. A lot of times
I could help other people, butI couldn't find a way to help myself.
(06:28):
So let me share with you alittle bit about my own journey with
chronic pain. I underwent abrain surgery in 1994, and ever since
then, I have suffered withinsomnia and nagging, debilitating
neck pain. Now, if you've readmy book, you already understand the
(06:52):
significance of the brainsurgery and the fact that this operation
wasn't just a surgery, but itwas a shift in my timeline. And this
is Often the case with, withmajor medical situations. So it wasn't
just a plano surgery. Therewas a significant reason that I had
(07:14):
this brain tumor and that Iended up on the surgical table. So
we won't go into that detailright now. But ever since that happened,
for the next 30 years Isuffered with neck pain and it progressively
worsened and as time went byuntil I wasn't able to sleep at night
(07:36):
and I could barely turn myhead. I like my head just wouldn't
turn and it hurt so bad. Itwas all over here on the left side.
I searched and I searched andI searched for solutions. So I took
courses on techniques, hopingthat each one would hold the missing
remedy for my misery. But noneof them really did. They helped for
(08:02):
a little bit, but the painalways came back. I learned some
pretty cool stuff and mypatients benefited from all the neat
techniques I was learning. Butit didn't help me. I enrolled in
an 800 hour massagecertification program thinking well,
maybe I can learn somethingfrom the massage profession. Maybe
(08:25):
they've turned the table and,and discovered something that I don't
know. As a physical therapist,it was a great program, I learned
a lot, but it didn't offer meany solutions. I enrolled in a two
year functional medicinebridge program for physical therapist.
I learned functional medicine.Surely I could help myself this way.
(08:47):
With functional medicine wetreat the body from the inside out.
So maybe this approach wouldbe effective. More effective than
working from the outside ofthe body. I mean I must have spent
$30,000 or more just intraining so that I could hopefully
(09:07):
help myself. I also triedchiropractic and even upper cervical
chiropractic which is aspecialty and it's very expensive.
And I did discover that myhead was on crooked and that it did
need to be addressed. But thatdidn't change my pain. So none of
(09:31):
these options offered me longterm relief. I tried physical therapy,
of course. Cupping, massage, neurological resets, vagal stem tens,
TMJ release, cranial sacralrelease, Raiki exercise, drugs. I
(09:52):
mean I tried everything. Ieven completely changed my diet.
Became vegan, vegetarian andsometimes vegan. Detox, detoxed myself,
got my gut in order. I thoughtsurely this was going to be it. Maybe
it was just a toxic situation, maybe it was environmental toxins
(10:13):
that were connect collectingin my neck. Nothing helped. I got
brain scans, I gotneurological and psychological evaluations,
I did past life hypnotherapysessions. I learned a lot of really
cool stuff. But nothingchanged how I felt. I left no stone
(10:38):
unturned. But yet I didn'thave any more answers and I didn't
feel better. So I did have asuspicion that there was something
about that brain tumor orsomething about the brain surgery,
(11:00):
something that happened duringthe surgery that was holding me in
place. And instinctively Ijust knew that this was what was
causing my neck pain. It wassomething that I couldn't understand
until I wrote my book. And inmy book I go into great detail about
(11:21):
the meaning behind the surgeryand what event it brought into my
life. But even afterunderstanding that, I still wasn't
free of the pain, and I stilldidn't have any answers as far as
how to get rid of it. So haveany of you found yourself in this
(11:45):
situation where you had amedical issue you couldn't find any
answers to, you couldn't getthe help you needed, you took it
into your own hands to try andfind the solutions, and you just
couldn't make it happen. Youjust couldn't find the right combination
(12:05):
to relieve yourself of thisagony. Have any of you been in this
situation? And knowing thepatients that I work with who deal
with pain, I would have to saythere's a large majority of people
out there walking this planetthat do have chronic pain. But after
all of this, I was beginningto wonder if I would ever find a
solution and be out ofconstant pain. I was so desperate
(12:30):
to make the pain stop and tohave full range and full use of my
neck. I just. It had been solong since I was able to fully turn
my head that I was. I couldn'tremember what it was like. Now, let
me just say there were a fewthings I did know about my neck physically
(12:53):
that could contribute to thesesymptoms. One was that I have no
curve in my neck. My neck iscompletely straight. Necks usually
have a bow in them and it actsas a suspension so that it, as your
body moves, the brain haslike, you know, like a shock absor
(13:13):
absorber through the neck.Well, my neck is completely straight,
so that puts me at in jeopardyfor some damage to the cervical spine.
I also have already multipledisc herniations and spinal stenosis
in my neck, probably becausethe neck is straight and there's
no suspension left in it. Butall of these things were on the right
(13:35):
side. My neck issues were onthe left side, so none of it made
sense. I also had arthritis inmy neck already. And none of it was
pain that you would experiencefrom radiating pain from like an
impinged nerve. It wasn't thatkind of pain. It was muscular tension.
It was just tight. It wouldjust ball up and not let go. So none
(13:59):
of this made sense. It wasmore like a torticollis. Like, it
just like these muscles wouldjust shorten and not relax, never
relax. They were always tightthroughout the day. It would get
progressively worse andprogressively tighter. And by the
end of the day, I could barelyturn my head. And trying to drive
was very difficult becausejust turning to look at the. The
(14:22):
rear view mirrors was veryuncomfortable and sometimes not even
possible. In 2022, I began myawakening as I've already shared.
And I thought for sure, withall the changes that were coming
through, that I was going tobe freed from this pain. Surely that
(14:43):
was part of the plan for thiswhole awakening process. Right through
this process, I was findingand removing longstanding patterns
of resistance and opening upenergy flow every single day. And
I thought for sure, part ofthis release process was going to
be releasing whatever washolding here. With the meditations
(15:08):
I did every day, I wasreceiving powerful, energetic releases,
and I was experiencing a lotof change in my body. I could feel
it everywhere else excepthere. So that year was full of a
lot of hope and a lot ofchange, but none of it applied to
the pain. In September of thatyear, I finally finished writing
(15:33):
the book, and I submitted itto my publisher, and I attended an
ayahuasca ceremony. Butayahuasca is a plant medicine, and
it is a teaching plant. Soayahuasca was calling me into ceremony
with her. She's a feminine.These. This is a feminine plant.
(15:57):
She's very motherly, and sheteaches you when you sit with her.
During the ceremony, shetaught me something about my neck,
and I went on this journeywith her, and she explained a lot
of what was happening with alot of things, but also with my neck.
(16:17):
It was a beautiful experience. And when I came out of my journey
with her, I realized I waslaying face down on my mat, and my
head was turned completely tothe left side, Something I have not
(16:39):
been able to do for 30 years. All of a sudden, I had full range
of motion of my neck and nopain. Huh. What's that about? So
I'm like, oh, this is wild. But also during that ceremony, I
(17:02):
had a visit from Oeragon, andOeragon is one of the K9 spiri guides
in my book. She's on the coverbecause she's my favorite. But she
appeared to me in her blackpanther form during the ceremony,
(17:24):
perched herself up on mychest, and she removed a mask that
I had been hiding behind. Andthis is one of the things that Oeragon
does for People is she helpsus identify masks that we hide behind.
So a mask is something, it'san untruth about yourself that you
(17:48):
tell yourself and also thatyou portray to the world. So it's
a belief you have aboutyourself or maybe it's a fear you
have. So you project somethingto prevent people from seeing this
fear. Oeragon removed it fromme. And that was partly attached
to everything that was goingon in the neck as well. So all of
(18:11):
that happened in this veryshort period of time. And thankfully
I was able to maintain my painfree, full range of motion status
for the next month. I coulddrive my car and I could turn, you
know, my head and check mymirror and not have any pain. I was
(18:33):
ecstatic. I can't even tellyou how ecstatic I was. What? One
thing I realized is that whenyou're in pain, you have this constant
noise in your head and it'sthe static from the neurons constantly
firing pain. And it's a noise. When this pain is finally relieved,
(18:58):
the noise goes away. It's likeeverything stops in your head and
it's so quiet. It's like whenyou go to the desert and there's
no sound. That's what it'slike when the pain stops. So I was
reminded of that and I alwayslike to share that with people because
(19:22):
it's quite alarming when thatpain stops, when it gets so quiet.
But this was interestingbecause it taught me that, yes, indeed,
my pain was of a energeticsource. It was had nothing really
(19:43):
to do with the physical thingsgoing on in my neck because it was
removed energetically. So thatwas a theory I had all along, that
it had something to do withthat brain surgery. Right. But what
happened was it ended upcreeping back in. So of course I
wasn't happy about this. Andfor the next eight months, I desperately
(20:09):
searched for ways to get ridof it again. So why did it come back?
Why did I get so much reliefwith ayahuasca? Clear understanding
of why it was there clearlyrelieved it from my energy field.
And then it came back. Why doyou think that was? Boy, I was mad.
(20:36):
Can you imagine? I was like, what the heck, man? I mean, I've
devoted my life to this newpassion, this new calling, and yet
I can't even get my neck paintaken care of. I'm taking care of
everybody else. When am Igoing to get taken care of, right?
(20:57):
And through my frustration, one day, after eight months, I got
really frustrated and I justscreamed out loud, what is it going
to take for me to abolish thistension and pain in my neck. What
is it going to take? You knowhow you just like, you get frustrated
(21:19):
and you just start talking outloud and you're like, I don't get
it. What is it? What do I needto do? So that's where I was at that
moment. Strangely enough, acouple days later, I was in meditation
and I received a veryprofound, energetic shift that I
was not expecting. During themeditation, I got this download that
(21:47):
expanded my channel in adirection that I wasn't anticipating.
And this download also camewith an energetic upgrade that cleared
my throat. My throat chakraabsolutely cleared any blockage there,
cleared any, opened it up, andit must have had something to do
(22:13):
with what was going on in thisneck. I don't know if it was a seal,
I don't know if it was justtime sensitive and now it was time
for it to happen. But as thedownload came in, the energetic download
came in, my neck paindisappeared and it has not come back
since. So that was in June. And at first the muscles were tender
(22:39):
because for 30 years they hadbeen contracted. So when you have
a muscle that's always tight,all of a sudden when it's loose like
that, the muscles are sorebecause you have all the, the byproducts
from the constant contractionthat's stuck in the tissue. So that
(23:00):
my neck didn't hurt, but itwas tender. Was like, wow, that,
that's tender. It's not. Itwasn't tight at all. It was just
tender when I touched it. Sothat took about a couple weeks for
that to clear away. And thenI'm completely back to normal. I
can move my head like I neverhave been able to before. And there
(23:21):
I. I'm just astounded. When Isit here and I. My neck doesn't hurt.
So that was earth shatteringto me. And I think I have a quote
written down here. SheldonCooper, you know that, that show,
(23:43):
what's the name of his show? Iwant to say Third Rock from the sun,
but that's another show.Sheldon Cooper says Bazinga. That's
kind of how it's like Bazinga. When I, when that came through and
I just felt all that release. So I'm telling you all this, but
what is it to be gleaned fromthis experience and this example?
(24:06):
Because that's what's soexciting. What is it that you can
deduct from this experience? Iwent to the K9 guide and I said,
okay, what's up with this? Whydid things progress this way? And
what is It. I need to knowabout this. Why did I have this experience?
(24:28):
And as you know, if you'veread my book, my entire life was
designed so that I could sharethat experience with you. So again,
here's another experience. I'mjust a scapegoat. I'm just a lab
rat that they, they makethings happen with. So I can come
(24:49):
out here and talk to you aboutit and help you. But. But I had that
experience and the revelationof what it meant so that I could
share with you what I learned. And there are a number of things
that are to be gleamed fromthis example, and I'm going to share
those with you now. No matterhow hard I tried to address pain
(25:14):
from the physical body, as aphysical therapist, sometimes that's
just not the issue. Sometimesthat's not going to work. And this
was where my frustration was.I wanted to help myself and my clients,
my patients. Sometimes, though, it has to be addressed energetically
(25:36):
and energetically we have theopportunity to remove not just physical
pain, but even deeper, deeperpain and deeper sources of pain.
Energy is designed to flowthrough the body, so when energy
is blocked, it accumulatesnear the blockage. For, for me, it
(25:58):
was the neck and interfereswith function and movement, and it
can even cause pain anddisease. I give a really good example
of this in my book. Emotionsand beliefs are also energy. Injuries
are trapped in energy, andtrauma and past life trauma are deeply
(26:21):
buried energy. So all of thisenergy has to be removed from the
body, because if it's not, itcreates problem, it creates pain,
diseases, yada, yada, yada. Sothe blocked energy cannot be removed
until it is ready to beremoved or our subconscious is ready
(26:46):
to let it go, even thoughconsciously we may think we understand
this. So I was saying, okay,I'm ready to be done with this. Why
can't I find a solution? Well,I didn't quite have the right combination
yet ready to unlock or the keyto unlock that blockage. So until
(27:09):
everything fell into place, nothing would work. Even though Ayahuasca
had taken it from me, eventhough Oregon had removed it from
me, I was still holding on toa belief or an expectation, or sometimes
it's not even that, sometimesit's beyond our control and that
(27:32):
it's a timing issue. So thatalso came into play play because
it wasn't time yet for me tohave that part of me completely released
and functional. Some blockagesare designed to stay in place until
a key moment in our life whenit's scheduled to be released. If
(27:53):
you hit this bookmark. Sothere's a. There's a bookmark that
you're supposed to hit at acertain point. Point. And when you
line up to that bookmark, thenyou have the perfect combination
to unlock a blockage such asthis. I'm not saying every pain is
(28:13):
like that. This is one of thepossibilities for me, that's what
was this. This was all about.I had to get to that precise opportunity
and moment and alignment in mydevelopment before I was ready to
fully release it. So when. When you do hit this bookmark, it's
(28:33):
kind of like you're signifyinga new chapter, a new direction, a
new ability, or an ascensionto a new level of awareness. And
so that's energetically what'swaiting to come into place until
you are fully able to releasethis very powerful blockage that
(28:53):
kind of just holds you in thisplace until that very moment. And
for me, I was locked into apattern ever since that brain surgery
because. And I was locked intoit until I was able and ready to
download that new frequency. It triggered a new activation in
(29:16):
me that literally justunlocked the blockage like. Like
a key in a lock. It's. I can'teven explain. I can't even put into
words what it feels like. Itwas a predetermined intersection
or interaction set to beactivated at that very moment when
I was finally ready to fullymove forward. So a lot of things
(29:41):
came, a lot of things had tohappen there. It was a step pattern.
It wasn't just me saying, okay, what do I need to do? Because
believe me, that's not thefirst time I've said that. But I
had to get to a certain placein my spiritual growth and my spiritual
development and my ascensionand my skill level before I was ready
(30:04):
to receive that specificdownload that unlocked it. And this
is what can be so frustratingabout pain. Because if we try and
address it just from theoutside, just from the skills I have
as a physical therapist, there's no way I would be able to
(30:25):
do that. There's no way Iwould be able to know that. And that's
what's so frustrating. Whenyou're dealing with a person in your
office, they're in pain, youwant to use all these techniques
that you've been taught. Someof them work, but some of them just
work for a short period oftime, and then they're back in the
office and they're not veryhappy with you. So this is what's
(30:46):
so compelling about pain, andthis is why it's such an important
Topic because it's importantfor us now to shift our focus as
healthcare providers, asspiritual teachers and spiritual
healers, to shift the. Theconversation into that spiritual
healing. And that's why theywanted me to talk to you about this,
(31:11):
and I'm sharing this with youto help you better understand the
purpose of your pain, as wellas to provide you with an opportunity
to discover your pain'spurpose and how to remove energetic
trapped energy. So this is thevery service I offer my clients during
(31:32):
my channeled sessions with thecanine spirit guides. So client,
when I work with my clientsenergetically channeling in the K9
spiri guides, one of thefirst thing things that the guides
do is they identify theseblocked patterns. It doesn't always
correlate to pain. If you'rehaving chronic pain, then that's
(31:52):
what they're. They're going tobe drawn to. They're going to want
to help you out of that painpattern because it's blocking your
ability to see or feel or hearanything else. That's the nature
of pain, is just to get yourattention. Right. So in these sessions,
that's one of the first thingthey do, is they identify any blockages
that need to be removed. Theyexplain to you what the blockage
(32:15):
is, what purpose it serves inyour life. Because there is something
that we need to learn aboutthis blockage. It's not just that
it's bad and we need to getrid of it. It serves a purpose. There's
an understanding that needs tooccur before the blockage can be
removed. And it's important tobe very grateful for that learning
because it's an experiencethat is important for your growth.
(32:39):
So if we hate the pain, if weresent it for being there, then that's
going to slow down the releaseprocess. The faster we can integrate
the learning that the blockageand the pain has to offer us, then
the faster we're going to healfrom it. But what the guides do is
(32:59):
they explain all that to youand depending on who's working with
you in that session, and theydo that through me. I channel it
and explain it to you whatthey've told me, and then they help
get rid of it for you duringthe same session. So that's what
I do with my healing sessionswith the canine guides. Really, my
(33:23):
entire book is a road map ofhow my life demonstrates how they
work. That's the whole pointof writing the book, I realized after
I wrote it. And also to learnwhat these canine guides have to
offer humanity. And so thisexample I'm telling you is really
no different. It's just me, mylife serving a purpose to show you
(33:45):
what might be happening inyour life. And the reason I went
through this experience was soI could share it with you. You even
if it's not pain, it could bea belief that's holding you captive
right here, right now. Ifyou've been searching, wanting to
grow spiritually, emotionally, and you're just stuck, then it's
(34:08):
the same concept as the pain.Thank you for coming tonight. Thank
you for listening andindulging me with my stories and
embracing the frequencyfrequency of the K9 guide because
they are always with me. Soyou might be picking up on it already.
Love you guys. Wish you thebest of luck and I hope to see you
soon. Bye.
