We’re excited to welcome Mark Taylor, a North Carolina-based fashion designer and producer whose bold creativity and heart for community are making waves both locally and nationally.
Rooted in the Triangle area of Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill, Mark’s fashion journey began by designing elegant pieces for his wife, a personal passion that quickly blossomed into Mark Taylor Designz, a brand now recognized for its bold statements and refined silhouettes.
Mark made his runway debut in 2019 at North Carolina Fashion Week, presenting ten original looks that earned him recognition as an emerging designer. By 2024, his MALI “Gold Standard Collection” had taken center stage at New York Fashion Week and LA Fashion Week, firmly establishing him on the national fashion scene.
His designs have dressed celebrities like Trisha Mann-Grant of BET’s Family Business and CBS’s Beyond the Gates, proving the versatility and appeal of his work. In 2023, Mark launched the Red & Black on the Green Fashion Show, an annual outdoor fashion experience that continues to grow in size and impact, now gearing up for its 2025 edition.
But Mark’s talents don’t end at the runway. Through his nonprofit initiative Suited-N-Success, founded in 2014, he has provided free professional and semi-formal attire to over 600 men in transition, helping them show up with confidence and purpose for life’s next steps.
Whether behind the scenes or on center stage, Mark Taylor is blending style with service, proving that fashion can both inspire and empower.
