Old cartoons from the 50's, 60's and 70's were much different than todays cartoons. One of the biggest differences was not only the illustrations but the insertion of laughing tracks. A laughing track is basically crowd laughter inserted in spots of a cartoon that more or less give you the cue that you the viewer are supposed to laugh. Why was this done? The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
