Delivered.

(00:21):
Technologist at GOMO Health.
Gold, Chief BehavioralTechnologist at GOMO Health, Bob
will share the science behinddesigning engaging programs that
extend care delivery throughtechnology to improve health
outcomes and build individualresilience.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
We hear a lot, you
know, of the need for diversity,
which is clear, loud and clear.
But and the way the best way tohandle diversity is to enable
equity and inclusion.
So let's look at thedefinitions of these.
Equity is empowering peopleoutside of the treatment setting
.
How do we help them bettermanage their own self-care right
(00:59):
?
And also that includes theclinicians how do we help them?
Help people manage outside?
And then inclusion is how do weenable more people to have
their own voice and influencetheir own plan of care, given
their life factors and lifesituation?
So the key is enabling equityand inclusion into a diverse set
(01:23):
of populations.
So believability consists a lotof trust and credibility.
So there's two things we haveto get people to believe in
themselves a little bit more andtrust themselves and find
themselves more credible.
Plus, you have to get them tobelieve in the source of
information why they shouldlisten to you.
(01:43):
No matter how much you knowabout healthcare or social
services.
You have to get them to believethat they should be listening
to you.
The next is if you can do that, then you can get them to
practice.
But you need a concept and ascience around what is practice
and how do you do that and howdo you reward people and how do
(02:04):
you encourage people to do that?
And the next thing is, please, health is a family challenge for
those lucky enough to havefamilies, so you need to not
just get engaged the quotepatient or member, you need to
engage the family.
So GOMO does that in many ofthose programs.
And then we need to help thehealthcare professionals, who
are a little overwhelmed rightnow with the need in the United
States and around, does that inmany of those programs.
And then we need to help thehealthcare professionals who are
(02:25):
a little overwhelmed right nowwith the need in the United
States and around the world.
And if we can help them gettheir patients and members and
people to better enact self-carein their own environment and
believe they can follow the careplan, we're helping produce
(02:46):
better impact and reduce fatiguewithin the care management
world.
And, lastly, because these aredelivered via simple messaging
questions, you don't need todownload an app portal.
None of that.
It's massively scalable at thesame time, while being
individualized.
