Speaker 1 (00:00):
Get in my way, never out of my name's.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Been like you one and the more one, so is
gonna be baby squad?

Speaker 1 (00:08):
What's up? What's up? What's this? Okay? What's going on?
I missed my Humble.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Baddies a home day. Okay, actually with the pigtails looking
like a little twelve year old girl, I was having
a bad hair day.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
So this is my go to. You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
We wouldn't know, we wouldn't know, we would that's so cute.
Let's say good hair. Three, let's say Indian, that Indian
coming out girl. Oh my gosh, we're back with another
episode of the Humble Baddies podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Out here girl Ashley to call. I'm Alexis start of
Meyer and Sharrell Risotto and we are the humble most
of y'all. What's going on? I was everybody's weekend? Terrell

(01:15):
you back.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I'm back, I believe and I have been on go
mo working, working, working. I had a major opportunity with
the brand Monday, so we were out.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
So missed that. But we're back. A little still a
little jet leg, but I'm feeling good. Good. That's the stuff.
That's the stup. What you got going on? Legs. I
have been NonStop.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Also, my son, my oldest son, I'm already just had
his last high school game. He played basketball, finished that season,
and then just finished volleyball.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
They lost in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
So it's kind of bittersweet because it's like, low key
all of these practices over all these years, to see
him finally coming to the end of his high school career,
it's just kind of bittersweet because it's like, you know,
him being the second I'm like, I used to just
sit there and just take him from city to city,

(02:21):
jim to gym, practice to practice, and now it's just
like all comes down to this, you know, and it's
low key shifting because it's like as a senior, he
doesn't know where he wants to go to school yet
he's been getting some offers and so it's just like
kind of bittersweet as to like, Okay, what's next because
Loki after now, like starting now is he's kind of

(02:42):
like low key on his own. This is when they start,
you know, at this age to kind of like start
their path of he has to get hisself up for
practices and take his self to practices.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
And show up and work out.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
So it's just kind of like eighteen years you know,
here we are, you know, just just kind of I'm
sitting in I'm sitting in it, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
So that was one.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Then I drove up to support Asada in a basketball
tournament in Saint Leo, Florida. So shout out to Saint
Leo University. It's my first time ever. It's a little
outside of Tampa. Just went there to see her for
a couple of days and they ended up winning. Okay,
So that was a little vibe. And then lastly came

(03:27):
back and went straight to Mary J. Blige and let
me tell you something. I went in Tampa, I mean.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Miami.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Well, yeah, she was here and she just she just
wrapped her forty city tour in Miami, and so it
was just like incredible to see her.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
She is looking good, she sounds amazing.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
And I was with a good group of ladies on
this one though, I was I was just like, you know,
because she didn't do nothing the.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Old school, old school hits.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
What she did like, she did little snippets and well
the clips I saw she was just holding the mic up.
I was happy with this one. This when I went
to the one at the at the hard Rock. It
was like a couple of months ago when she came
to the and I wonder if it was a different show.

(04:21):
I'm hoping Neo opened up. No, it was a different show. Yeah,
I mean it was just a long excess the show.
But he wasn't there at all. It was just good.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I just enjoyed her music.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I was not satisfied with the one that I went to,
but I was. She kicked of course in the boots
and you know she gonna do the boot then, Yeah,
the boots.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
She was wearing them boots.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
And did you see all the Miami girls come out
the old the aunt tiends come out with the boots. Yeah,
everyone had their boots on. They vibe, you know everyone.
That's what I love about a concert. We're gonna show
up in, show out by the way, you know. Yeah,
it's just never a dull moment, and it's the opportunity
for us to like, you know, recreate our energy and

(05:09):
our vibes and when we first heard that music, because
like that's what music does to me.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
It's therapeutic. It just brings this energy out.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
So the fact that I could like sing some of
these songs with her, and I was just like, oh,
I remember that time when or it made me feel
like this win. So it just felt it felt good,
you know, just I like, I don't know some about
these concerts. They just bring out that vibration and just
some different energy. So it was good to see the people.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
The people came out to Miami.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
So shout out to all the aunties and unks, big
anks that came through.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
You know. It was a good blade to a stepping Yeah,
it were in them books.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Well, speaking of concert, our first topic I want to
talk about is Miss Beyonce.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
She saw her Cowboy Carter tour.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Her first show was in LA and I was glued.
When I say glued, I was flipping back and forth
from people's lives, like, okay, let me watch the she
got better seats, let me switch.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
To her live.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Okay you were watching. I was looking at the outfits
because I'm trying to come ready when we got to Paris, Yes,
people got the fis, people got the dance moves going
on the choreography, all.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
The word are y'all real be hybrids? I'm not a
real beehiber?

Speaker 2 (06:27):
But wait, what what's the what? I don't mean to
cut you off real what what is a what's the
real Bee hibrid? I want to know the hybrid consistently
goes to Beyonce concerts, all her concerts, Yes, every time. Okay,
I'm gonna miss the concert. So every album, concert, every tour, Okay,
like it's a big deal. Like we wait for this,

(06:49):
like we're in line waiting to buy our tickets, you know,
like you know, like we know the words to the songs.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Okay, I don't know. We don't allow any trash talk
that keep going.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Keep going, and we're preparing our outfits like once ahead
of time, you know, like that's a true be hyper
I feel what oka people are gonna think that I
am a true Bee Hybrid this come June, because maybe
the outfit is gonna be put together. Okay, Okay, I'm
a thing. I'ma be drunk and so okay, it's okay.

(07:26):
And like I know the words and don't know you're participating, Okay,
I saw that matters because yeah, as long as you
make it tea, you make it boop. Because when I
say I'm gonna have a time at this concert, I
like I love going to see her perform. She said,
me is like I would say the Michael Jackson of
our time, Like I mean, it's sorry as when go Yeah,

(07:49):
I don't know, yes, like another woman, I would say
that's put that does show like overall she's that individual.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
She's given us outfits.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
She's entertaining, you know, like it's worth what we go
through to get these damn tickets. Okay, yeah, Yeah, she's
working hard. She has the fitser and fits on fits
on fits. Shout out to Chaneah, her stylists, who I'm
sure works countless hours with these designers getting these outfits together.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
And the dancers. Yeah, it's just amazing to see the
production her voices. I think, you know, I think I'm
a beehiver.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
I have been to multiple concerts, but not the most
recent one.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
I'm looking forward to. So why didn't you go to
this last one? Because I did not purchase the album
low key did not really he didn't like the album.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I didn't even really honestly give it a chance. I
was okay, I'm okay with the movement. I just love
her in general. So it was just like, let me
vibe to the music that was out, and so didn't
with her most recent albums that she's put out, like
I know, a lot of even like the Hybrids, I
felt like at first, we're kind of like, what is this?

(09:10):
You know, it took a minute the switchover to a country.
I'm okay with it, It's just wasn't my wave right now.
And I can't I can't really say that I have
an opinion on the album, just because I did not
give it a whole chance. But I love the aesthetics,
I love the vibes. I love everything about it. I
love the fact that you know, we're seeing the blow
up of Blue you know, Cisterness is vibing and grinding

(09:35):
and vibing and thriving and just everything all of the above.
And they brought out baby Roomy, the little One, so
it's just beautiful to see. Just like it's still family
oriented very much. She's set on really leading her legacy,
leaving her legacy, leaving her mark, and I'm like, what's
next for Bey? I say, because it's just like she
just keeps setting the bar. So as someone who just

(09:58):
loves entertainment in general, I'm definitely.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Down to support her.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Speaking of you know, speaking of Blue Ivy, let's talk
about her blow up from being shy to now killing it.
She said, I was also watching different clips and it's
just like she went from zero to one hundred. You
can tell people criticize her so much during her first
stage performance with her mom, they were basically clowning her.

(10:24):
And instead of her quitting and shutting down and like,
you know, I can't do this, you know, with the
public coming after me, it just made her go even
harder as a child, and she is killing it. Baby
Blue was on the stage, pop licking it, dropping it
with confidence like she was the choreographer show.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
It's her show.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
She was doing like the same choreography, like some old
choreographography that Beyonce had done in the past, and then
like put it like side by side. You a true
Behi when you pay attention, tell all that I like
a previous performance that Beyonce day was the exact same choreography,

(11:08):
and Blue killed it like it was made for her.
Like I was just watching, yes, yeah, yeah, that's what
I love about it.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
I was very proud of her. I was like, I like,
I just love to see it.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Like she went in she was like, I'm not gonna
let people stop me talking purple about me because y'all
see people was imitating recreative videos, just making so much
for her, and I felt bad. I felt sad for
her because I'm like, she's a young girl, like she's
just not getting into it. But baby, Yeah, And I
love that Beyonce and jay Z as parents decided. I'm

(11:45):
sure like it was a conversation they had with Blue
Ivy or whatever, you know.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
To push her to not let that stuff get to her.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
You know, Like I think that speaks volumes of like
the kind of parents that Beyonce and jay Z probably are. Yeah, sure,
they're both, i mean the top of the top of
their craft, and this comes they and I'm sure they
are instilled in her.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
This comes with the territory. One.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
She's a public figure too, but the way you can
just tell in her essence, the way that she carries herself,
she's humble. She's very grounded and you know, I'm looking
forward to seeing more. And I just love that the
fact that Beyonce instead of like you know, it's like
take your dart to work day, but it's like tour
with me, get a check, you know, write all this
offfs have this experience, this hand on craftsmanship.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
It's production. It's dance, it's choreography.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Whatever your lane is, baby, I got you, you know
the fits, and she just really gets to see who
her mother is and they get to spend this time together.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
So it's just beautiful to see. I'm down for it.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
But she's also creating generation of wealth to be able
to bring on, you know, her child. And it seems
like Blue is really putting in the dedication and she
loves it. It doesn't look like Beyonce is fortunate up
on Blue, and you know it took hard work like
that for you.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Herby is not easy, okay.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
And you know, Beyonce, we're gonna let her get on
that stage unless it was right okay. And so you
were Blue been putting in some work right head her.
She was sharp with the moves. She missed a b okay,
who else the Blue? She up there doing her thing.
It's definitely legacy. It's just and we're seeing it. It's

(13:29):
beautiful to see just the transition and just seeing all
of this coming together.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
We get to see it in real time and it's
like it's trickling down.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Now. You know, she brought her first daughter, now she's
bringing it on her second daughter's kill.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
The way she looked at her mom and was just
cheesing so hard, waving at the fans. Beautiful.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Yeah, and she hit and she hit her her mark too.
You see she try to get her choreography down.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
To She's gonna be next mm hmm. I love it. Yeah,
I love it.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Shout out to Beyonce safe or continue to shine for
the black women and showing creating generational wealth, showing that
it can be done.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Your child doesn't have to exactly do what you do.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Like Beyonce is a great singer, dancer, but she found
something in blue and her child and she's bringing it
out of her. So shout out to our booby up
say she is the humble Bay and just really just
bringing it back to like black excellence like you said,
and the cowboy just bringing a lot of like the
Negro Chiplin circuit that she's highlighting the fact that you know,

(14:40):
it's the essence of what it means to be a
black woman, American woman, Texas cowboy chic, all these things.
So shout out to her for real. I love that,
love it, love it, love it.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
All right, let's get into it the next topic our
what baby they better stop playing with our our boy
chadur standards.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Yeah, nephew.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
So he's single handedly raised the ratings for the NFL
Draft because everybody was waiting to see where he was
gonna go.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
And I was watching the draft.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Girl, after the first round, you know, I'm like, Okay,
it's you know, warm, but baby, why y'all playing with?

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Why y'all?

Speaker 2 (15:32):
In all those rounds? I've never watched it past the
first day empty. I think that he got his position
split down because of who he is, who his father is,
or was it purely on him just.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Being over confident? Like what do you what do y'all?

Speaker 2 (15:52):
What did y'all take on the reasoning that he didn't
go the first round like everybody thought he would. I
feel like the owners were trying to prove a point.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
They're not used to seeing a young black male.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Come before the draft, before the draft and say, you know,
his statement and I don't want to put it wrong,
but basically he was saying, don't pick me if you
don't want this, this, and this. His statement was very powerful,
and I feel like the owners didn't like that, and
it was it was allegedly said that the owners don't

(16:29):
want him because of the statements that he made m Well,
I feel like he is very vocal, just like how
Cherrelle said, and very much. It's also a trickle effect
of we all know who his father is. We have
Dion Sanders who came to a Division one university who

(16:54):
just revamped this whole program coming from an HBCU by
the way of highlight these players, making them a top contender,
also elevating ratings, which we all know equals money, to
the point where he was coaching these boys, your Travis
Hunters who ended up being number two, etc. And there's

(17:15):
other players that he had drafted. But the fact that
he has really changed the game as well as the
good old boy dynasties of not seeing us in these
positions as well as now he has raised, like we
have witnessed him, raised his sons and his daughter to
be very conscious, confident, and that is something I mean,

(17:38):
I look at it now in little Little league ball
and we've seen these over the years where the parents
that are involved that are coaching are the ones where
they're pushing their their children the most and playing them the.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Most, these things like that.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
But with this we saw, we have seen it happen,
and this is like the full circle moment. So I
think it's a trickle from the dad being very much
it's prime he's prime time, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
He had a song.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Es come on Now and he played baseball too, so
like he was, he was doing all of this.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Plus he's instilling that he also knows how the league
is ran.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
He also knows the mentality of what it means to
be a black man in a white league that's ran
by owned by He also knows the understand he understands
brand management. So all these layers that he is instilled
in his child, I'm not mad at it is very
intimidating to these these owners that they can't contain it.
But at the end of the day, this is a

(18:37):
young man who is also professional, so he's gonna show
up and show out.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
And I think the NFL needs this energy.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
They need this this vibration, They need this generational energy
of like I am a business person, I'm also a brand,
but I'm also gonna show up and do my job.
So I cannot wait to see you where you at. Yeah,
we were watching to see what was the NFL. I mean,
I understand those things that you're saying, but I mean,

(19:04):
to me, it just makes more sense.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
To can you hear me? Yeah, it makes.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
More sense to have a player who is confident, Like
isn't he a quarterback?

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:19):
So when you want when you want somebody who's more confident,
when you want somebody who was raised by an NFL
player because he knows the game and he's teaching him
like the things to do, what not to do. Like,
to me, it makes more sense to invest in a
player like that. I wouldn't want to add confidence to

(19:39):
them leads to problems. You never heard any Shuldar having
any problems off the field exactly. So that's why I
don't really understand it, Like I don't undert I don't
understand why you wouldn't want a player like him. He's confident,
he's well spoken, he's a leader, he's respectful, he knows

(20:01):
the game. He's been raised by the game talking about
the most high like okays, yeah, yeah, So I'm not understanding,
like why would I mean, I'm sure it's something like
there's a reason, and I'm sure it's messed up, you
know what I mean, But logically and if it's about
money at the end, of the day, and it's about

(20:22):
winning at the end of the day.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Why would you not want to choose a player like him?
And I'm sell tickets too, and the thing.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
To Yeah, it's about money and so and you know,
now everybody's saying like there he's gonna, you know, show
out and do the best. So you know, it's I
feel like it's gonna work out for him either way.
But logically it's very I just don't understand it because
that would be the pick player that I picked. I

(20:54):
don't think it's about money. I think it's it was
them trying to prove a point. Yeah, with the Sanders,
I feel like money is not an issue on their end.
And you know the owners they have, they do have
money from the players. I feel like the owner they
were trying to prove a point. Who this young cocky.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Dude think he is.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
I'm approval point And it trickled down probably you know
history from his dad. You know, his dad is not
a runover. He's gonna speak his mind. He don't sugar
folk anything. And it was I feel my opinion, it
was more of a personal issue than than money.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
With that.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Also, I just read that he has sold his jersey. Yeah,
it's crazy right now, So I can't wait. I need
to go and get me. Will he sell his jersey
on his website? His jersey sells his jersey selves. Okay, okay,

(21:56):
I ain't not at it. See he's smart. I mean,
this is the quarterback that I will like. If I'm
about winning and all that, then yeah, that's what I think.
But my question, my question is is there a deeper,
deeper issue with seeing young black men walking full confidence?
Why do everyone have to see because I've seen a
lot of things. A lot of people on Twitter come

(22:18):
in and oh, that's what he gets. He just cocky.
He being cocky like his daddy. Blah blah blah blah blah,
a bunch of bull crap. Why we're also not watching
them on the draft. We're also not tuning in to
a University of Colorado game. We're also not rooting for him.
You know this, this is a deeper rooted issue. It

(22:41):
definitely has to do with color It also has to
go back to historical and biblical times of we don't
even take it back to I mean US history of slavery.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
So let's let's talk about that for a second.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
So it goes off of that whole mentality of let
me break him down, but let me let me take
away this since this natural essence of this king energy
that I have, and in low key the draft, they
hold the power to put you in this league, you
know what I mean. So that last little bit of it,

(23:14):
the fact that they thought that they were going to
affect something by you know, not drafting him first, you know, first,
second round, third round.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
He still kept his composure. Mm hmmmm hm.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
He's still celebrated and that's being raised correctly by his
parenty And you know his number, his number, he was
one hundred and forty four, So that means a huge
significance in the Bible anyway. It has to do with
the one hundred and forty four thousand that are chosen,
and many are many are called, but only a few
are chosen. So just stand on it, nephew. You know

(23:48):
I'm here to see it. I'm gonna support and I'm
not a Cleveland Browns fan, so I will I am now.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
You know, until they play my Chiefs. Yeah, until then.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
How about this prank call that at the one of
the Atlanta Falcons coaches, Son made pretending that he was
you know, making a call to you know, draft Shador.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
What do y'all think about that? Disrespectful?

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Very Yeah, So apparently his son wasn't the one who
actually made the call. It was his friend, but you know,
the son apparently, Yeah, the son was able to have
access to the phone numbers from his dad. Right, And
the NFL did find the father and the Falcons organization.

(24:36):
But that money, that money should be going to Shador
actually because he's the one that emotionally was harmed by
this second the NFL has enough, so go on slide
that on over them. Yeah, do y'all think that was
enough punishment? I feel like the should have been a
little bit more, I mean a lot more. Make it hurt, Yeah,
because you have to say it. Sending it exactly y'all

(24:58):
trying to say it. Send it set an example to
humble players who are very confident and know their worth.
You need to set an example for these people. These
childre are not here playing on people phones. Your your child,
going through your paperwork, so that lets you know that
there was a list of everyone's phone numbers that people
have access to, that they were able and this is

(25:20):
the day you you do receive a call, and usually
it's through an agent, but because he didn't hire one,
it was his personal phone number. So all of the
you know, coordinators had this access to this list. So
it goes to show you that, you know, it's a
way that you should not be having your work at home.
And you know what I didn't like was the fact

(25:42):
that this this young this young boy filmed himself and
not only filmed himself, he put it out there for
clouts for likes, you know, and and you know it's
just so that's disrespectful. So he should be reprimended to.
I know, it's you know, the father was fine X
amount of dollars. I feel like this one or so

(26:04):
we had something to do with it. That's just not
I mean, we don't know that apple doesn't fall far
from the tree. And since we are talking about father
and son, were looking at a whole other example of
how you're raising your kids. Okay, And Chador wasn't the
only one to be pranked by the way. He was
one of a few. Obviously his was the one that

(26:24):
was out there the most. But it's just sad when
the warn players. I don't know if the specific boy did,
but he wasn't the only one. I did see that
earlier today that he wasn't the only one. But obviously
again going off for the facts of Shador's.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
Brand and star power, that's who we're talking about.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
That's who was like talked about on the you know,
on the shows and everything like that today.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
So it's just unfortunate.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
And they shouldn't even be able to have this disrespect
confidential information like this is. Yeah, there are numbers their
prophecy and for it or the kids to easily have
access to that.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Now, I just now the owners need to be instead
of trying to worry about humbling people, they need to
worry about teaching trainings to the coaches and the head
coaches in their staff on how to confidential information she
worked at work. Yeah, I agree that was very messy,

(27:27):
very disrespectful. Yeah, it's disrespectful on all levels.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
I mean, think about this every night.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
This is what you dreamed about as a young boy eighteen, nineteen,
twenty twenty one, whatever years old. You've been waiting on
this night to get that phone call, to fight, to
wear that suit, to have your family and friends around.
Everyone who's been going back and forth to these practices,
spending money, investing, timing you for this one day where

(27:59):
you get this phone hall and this little that that.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
That young man ruined it for him.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
You know, it's unfortunate, it's sad, and it's disrespectful. I
don't like it. Yeah, I didn't either. It made me
feel some kind of way as a mother.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
I agree. I agree.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
I would have did if it was back then and
somebody print called Tom Brady. Yeah, I don't know, but
I do want to say that I think Chador is
gonna come out on top at the end of the day,
and I can't wait for him to show everybody like

(28:36):
I'm gonna be like hem, see I can't. But I
just love watching the draft. I love watching the parents
like I just love watching their reaction and like the moms,
and I love seeing like the girlfriends and how they're acting,
like I really just be looking at everybody.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
It's like the show.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Wait. Wait, y'all know what lim rent free in my head?

Speaker 1 (28:59):
I think you think I know what you're about to
say because they can't get out of money. Let me
hear the meme of.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
Russell Wilson's act that face that was funny that there
was a couple that that she made when he got drafted.
And now they used to mean when she thought she
hit the jet, but yeah, it was it was it

(29:27):
was her. It was another one member. The girlfriend was
sitting on the player's lap and the mom yanked her
off the that's funny too, That was a funny one.
I think the only thing they made was one of
them had like a little baby, like a son, and
the baby threw up when he got drafted, so they
were like, I don't know, maybe he didn't.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Like to see.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
You know what I love looking at during the draft
that people really don't speak on.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
No players be dressed tackling. They do it.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
They who put that together.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Not everyone.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Now you got some of them country ones that don't
know like baby country and country.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Yes, be looking like somebody passed us.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
This is their time to be shine now for the
national stage.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
They're showing up.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
They're showing how the hell you No, actually, not everyone
be wearing the Steve Harvey suit now. But did you
see the number one pick, cam Ward from Miami was
in very They were clowning him because he wasn't. They said, oh,
you're in a Banana republic. Off the rack because he
was a nice baby, a new dress, yeah, and very

(30:41):
much just he was like, look, I'm here for business
for one reason only. I'm gonna go get my hub
from a commissioner, get my hat, get my jersey with
my name on there be the number one pick, and
let me go to work. So he was spokes. So
it's whatever your vibe is. I mean, this is the stage.
If you're not gonna show out when it what else
are you gonna show out?

Speaker 1 (30:59):
You got to.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
I mean they got their birth they got their checks.
I mean it's a little different now with the NILS.
I'm just the check. It's an event, y'all. This is
this is the mat for the NFL. So like, let's
they want to show up, you know, that's what we
call it the net for the NFL.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
But some of them have them Steve Harvey suits on those.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
They need to and they showed out. I love to
see the runway. Let me see the runways.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
Tell us y'all gotta make love, y'all.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Stuff it's fitted to the t, fitted the diamonds dancing,
you know, yes, yeah, I love to see it.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
It's a celebration.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
I mean, when when my sons get drafted, I'm gonna
be right there, just suited and ready for them.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
You know, let's go, let's go.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Yeah, it's sure they ain't dressing no country ass three piece.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Actually, what what they feel?

Speaker 2 (31:55):
Well, when he got dressed drafted because you know he
from Clubbis Georgia, Baby, they be waring.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
I ain't even gonna lie. He didn't.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
He was still wearing country Ship when he was in
the league and they had to dress up because of.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
The ied to look at his.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
You know, Columbus used to wear the tease, the lone
teas that stopped to your knees. Yeah, so the things
was not cute. They was very very Murray got drafted
and he had all that fabric that's back in the
day when them suits were used to go, like the
jackets will be all the way down to you know,

(32:33):
the five them big them big suits, all the fabric, pinstripes,
you know everything.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
So help them.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Lord, it's the same thing. It's the same thing across
all the leagues. Lord, that's funny. Well we got if
somebody got to teach him, who's the best dress right
now in the NFL?

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Mm hmm, I don't know. Beans tissue, it's something out there,
but I can't think of their name. They set their
game up though, like.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Everyone had to look at the league they was just
getting like because they had to be in soups when
Phil was still playing, Like they didn't play that ship
they an be wearing.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Now they an't wearing all kinds of ship.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Now, I supposed to have one like a nice suit,
like a well fitted and they would have little suit
guys come or whatever. But now I see they be
showing up with their little purses, they little mercy and
all kinds of stuff.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Oh you know who I do like. I don't know
what his name is, but the one who dresses in
like his African I think he's he's getting cash doll
right now.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
I like.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
I like that too, Yes, I do like him.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
I do like.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yeah, that's okay.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
It's very outen when they with their merses in for
I love all kinds of stuff.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
I'm like, that is a lot by that for you.
I love to see.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
But they're they're in runway back like years ago, they
never would make the designers would not make the sizes
for these players. You know, they have different measurements whether
they're tall or wide.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
There and the guys are doing step Stepan did be
stepping now, yes he did, but.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Small good fashion patigue like they like NFL players back
in the day, were bigger. They fit that ship.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
I can't fit in.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Depends you got to get them custom made. Everyone's about
their brands. Everyone's about like, you know, stepping up and
then buying the brands. They are very much.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
But the design to wear suits and like that's it.
It was a suit.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Now they're giving them the freedom to step out and
do their own thing, which is cute. I like it.
I like the I like an African attire. That's my favorite.
Yeah cash our booty dressing. I forgot his name, Yeah dressing,
That's what I mean.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
Hilarious. They weren't. I found them out and they were
so cute. That was like early when they were baiting earlier.
But I like that. I like him dressing and his
cultural attire.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
That is safe sy seeing seeing like the Africans when
they were they're that jock gets sick.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Mm. I like that.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
We know you do. Actually, don't start that day. Don't
start it tonight. Now they don't drink it. Where where
is your drinking? I got some water, I'm gonna drink
for you tonight. All right, let's get into it, y'all.

(36:03):
So we added a new segment from our last one,
the Batty Business segment. Each each time we're on, we're
gonna talk bring in a some business advice. And I
know for this one a lot of people there there
has been a lot of talk about terror, the real

(36:26):
tariff trouble, and the real cost of doing business.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
I know people heard of the words tariff.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
Thrown around in the news or senior vendor raised priceis
because of the import costs.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
But what does that actually mean? And it's okay because
some people don't know what it means.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
They just they hear it on the news and they
passed by, especially these young entrepreneurs. So today we're gonna
break it down and we're gonna teach you how you
can basically maneuver around it, try to never around it.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
So what is a terror?

Speaker 2 (37:06):
The definition a teriff is basically a tax the government
puts on goods coming into the country. Think of it
as a price tag added to imported products.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Mm hm. You order, here's an example. You order some
lashes from China.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
That product the product might have a tariff slapped on
it before it even hits your inventory. Tears are usually
meant to protect domestic industries, but sometimes they back backfire
and just make stuff just more expensive, right right, this
is definitely gonna backfire.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
H it is okay, real, I mean, it's gonna make
go ahead, go ahead, lits. It's gone, it's gonna.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
I'm saddened by it actually, just because people just really
just don't know what's getting ready to happen. The fact
that you know, lashes like let's just say even wholesale,
the fact that you're gonna be spending one hundred and
forty whatever, one hundred and thirty percent on top of it,

(38:09):
not only is it gonna affect the consumers like you know,
those who can't do lashes that want to get them done,
the prices will go up, it's also going to change
how the vendors or you know, the ones who are
actually applying X, Y and Z on us or the lashes.
It's gonna affect them too, because now we're gonna be like, hmm,

(38:30):
are the last lash is worth it? Or am I
just gonna go down the street and do my own right,
you know? Or it's gonna change that industry.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
So I look at it like this.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
You know, I understand what the administration is trying to do.
Buy American, keep it in America, X, Y and Z.
But even if you look at something like a car,
even if it's like let's just say Ford that is
known to be built here and it's an American car,
still technology, the computer, the certain parts that.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Come from overseas exactly.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
So what that being said, that particular part is still
going to make the prices go up.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
And let's not talk about repairs.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
The repairs for example, every even the shipping, the shipping
containers have slowed down, so that has trickled into the
employees working the shipyards, the container companies, the you know,
distribution companies have now laid off employees. So now not
only do you not have enough workers because there's nothing

(39:38):
coming over, you're also now dealing with the fact that
you can't afford anything. I mean, eggs, for example, are
still high basic things, and so if you can't if
you don't have a job. Yeah, it's like, if you
don't have a job, if you don't have income, what
can you purchase? And then if you can't afford with

(39:58):
you the basic and assess cities, it's gonna be very
hard out here. And I'm gonna say I hate to
say this, but we're looking at another recession on the way.
We're looking at hard times and then we're looking at
people that need to eat and they're gonna try to
survive to do this. I mean, it's a trickle effect
and we have This is just April, and we have

(40:21):
not seen the results of this. This just was implemented
a couple of weeks ago. And I just purchased a
foreign vehicle, Thank god that I did right before the
terror kicked in, because low key they have inventory now,
but next year they won't Apple iPhones, the little things
we take for granted.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
All these things will now be increased in prices. And
so it's like.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
The workers are gonna be laid off. There will be
no money, there's no there's no trickling in. And again
I appreciate America. I love it here in that kind
of way, but we depend on other countries for other things,
even tourism. Same with everything everything. I want to do everything,
every now, like this is who y'all voted for, y'all.

(41:11):
Why y'all complaining?

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Now you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (41:13):
Like y'all didn't read the policies that he was planning
to implement, because this isn't something that he just brought
up like this is there was a whole plan. People
weren't educated day one he started implementing these plans, and
we just y'all over here like choking. So I'm just wondering,
you know, how y'all feel about you me and now
about your president. Well, not only that is deporting, it's everything.

(41:38):
It's just changing maps, history, all these it's just a
lot taking away, you know, monuments and museums and just
a lot of it's a lot of energy going on
right now. And you know, it's about educating yourself, like
these tariffs are going to affect us.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Little things we took for granted are definitely gonna affect.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
To say, y'all know, I'm in the development wor else, Yeah, industry,
So I'm worried about that because a lot of I
do a lot of government contract and then we just
received our final award. So with government contract and you
have to set a price and it gets approve your
final price. So now it's like okay, everything's higher. Now

(42:21):
everything is going to change. So it's planning back on
our field. What you know, what the business can't profit from.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
So it's just it. It's affecting a lot of things.
But let's let's continue on with this.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
Small business owners have to raise their prices to survive,
but customers don't always understand. While they're twenty dollars t
is now twenty eight twenty eight dollars struggles competing with
big brands. Big brands can buy and buck or shift
production fast. Small businesses not so easy. Tariff can widen
the gap. You had a reliable vendor overseas, a sudden

(43:03):
tariff might force you to scramble for a new supplier
or delay your drops. What you can do, so here's
some humble batty survival tips while we're going through this crazy.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
Time right now.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
Resource smarter. Look for suppliers in tear free regions or
even locally. You can also negotiate with vendors. Sometimes they'll
share the costs or burden bondo products. Get creative with
pricing to make things feel more valuable. Tell your story,
Educate your audience about what's going on. They'll be more

(43:38):
willing to support you through the shift. Our final batty takeaway,
tariff might be out of your control. But how you pivot,
that's all you. So, whether you're shipping from Ghanna or
grabbing lace from the Philippines, know your numbers, protect your
margins and keep that business foss energy.

Speaker 1 (44:01):
M hm okay, good tips, Good tips. I like those?
All right, thank you for that. Let me tell y'all,
I sit down at what today?

Speaker 2 (44:19):
Oh no, you didn't let you didn't let me unt
a lot on Twitter.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
To see what do I need it? You didn't let
me approve this. So my question was, and I'm gonna
ask y'all, I'm nervous.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
Do y'all get like a warm sensation when y'all drinking alcohol?

Speaker 1 (44:42):
It's not every alcohol for me? What do you mean?
Warm sensation? Of warm sensation? That? Yeah, but it's only
when I drink vodka? What okay? He's talking about?

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Probably what you mean more so the coffee. It's what
you yes, I mean, yeah, only voka for you. I
really feel like the wind do it for me? I
feel like when vanka, I think it's all of the above.

(45:16):
For me, it's just different energy. Like if if I'm
on tequila, it's a different it's a different les.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
You know what I mean? And you know you're gonna
get a y'all know my dances. You're gonna get that.
If it's vodka, is definitely more a. I've been drinking vodka.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
I've been like tequila a lot. I don't think tequila
makes the pea pop. Tequila make me party like I
don't want to.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
Yeah, Tequila make me turn up, makes me wants Cigave
is sugar vodka. I think vaka don't make it pop either.
Vacca makes me I don't know.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
It's the Tito's voca like I was on the else Tito's.
You know what, I'm trying to have some flashbacks, bro,
and I think you might be onto something. I think
I think the vodka might actually take me there more.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
Than the tequila does.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
I'm telling y'all it's that Tito. I don't know what
they put in that Tito's vodka, but that it's American
so it won't have a tariff. By the way, the
label in the bottle might but be on the.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
American pop shrim shrim.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
The chocolates I ate these chocolate which ky which kind
of like is it there's certain I don't know what
the name of the brand is, but it's a certain
one Bradley makes it pop and.

Speaker 1 (46:47):
Yeah it's ask philm what real? What real?

Speaker 2 (46:53):
Because it's not like overly too much. It's just like
she lets you know, she's in the room. You know,
I'm talking in the room.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
She has entered the building and the building, Oh hey
girls talking. Yeah, she'd be like, hey, I'm here. You
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
Okay, I like that because it's like not like I'll
sip to that and then I feel good, like it
gives me energy.

Speaker 1 (47:18):
So y'all got to try and try that. You know,
ain't no hangovers involves you know, hydra. It's the shroom,
you know what I'm saying, Like.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Yeah, because it's like it's a micro suld be talking
talking about. She'd be like, hey, girl, don't forget about me.
It's all yeah and get Yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
I don't know, but it's something about that alcohol, something about.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
It just it just do something like it just yeah,
like you put a microwave down there or something. I
think in general, Yeah, like look her mark loosening you up.
You know what I'm saying, to make you loose.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
In a pant, not a stove, not a you know,
mike a wavee heat up real fast as soon as
you drink it. What kind of cheat ups you got?

Speaker 2 (48:20):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (48:20):
What kind of tito's you want? What kind of back then?

Speaker 2 (48:24):
I didn't, I'm telling y'all, I didn't realize that, you know.
I was just I was on the plane and you know,
the flight attendant, what do you want to drink? And
normally I don't drink, but I was like, look me
get titos and cranberry juice mm hmm. And I put
a splash of cranberry juice in there, and I took
a silk and I was like, m m, somebody, Wow,

(48:49):
that's that's the altitude. That's not the altitude that's been
a that's been you know, sky high. Well, listen, I
got to try that. But I think, but I think
you onto something though. I have a I feel like
after I have a couple of cosmos. Yeah, the vodka

(49:12):
kind of hot down there gets me started. It's not
a hot down there. There's other things that get me
hot down there. It's not the vodka. It's just definitely
the tingling, the warming sensation.

Speaker 1 (49:22):
Of your body.

Speaker 2 (49:23):
You know, yes, you're getting activated for sure. Yeah, it's
an activation. It's an activation. They need to label it.
They need to put a caution it does activate. And
they didn't have an arrow going down.

Speaker 1 (49:41):
No, they need to sell.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
They need to sell Tito's in the sixth store. They've
been selling other stuff, the honey packs.

Speaker 1 (49:55):
It's like them. But that's what I hear. Is it
a cack of honey.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
It's it's a different kind of honey's.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
It helps, it helps with long, long time fun take it.
I've heard it's for the men, but I don't know what.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
I didn't ask one of my friends that I need
to ask one of my friends, a female, if.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
That's all they got for husband's blaka. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
I don't know if it's just I don't know if
it's strictly for men. Somebody needs to let us know
in the chat. You don't let us know the honey
plot for us or not the honey peck. But I've
seen I've seen it, like the jokes like put the
honey pack with the drink. They're all mixed, mix it up.
They're making a whole concoction up or downer, lefty, righty.

(50:55):
I'm still getting messages about the pop Rocks, but the
people still loving the pop Rocks oh, they're saying thank
you for that tip. Let me put that on my list.
One lady messaged me. She was like, girl, it was
my my husband's birthday and I just want to thank you.
I tripped the pop rocks.

Speaker 1 (51:16):
She said, she messed up and put the whole peck
in her mouth. Oh me, a thing was just popping almost,
but he enjoyed it. So she had to spick some
of them out.

Speaker 2 (51:28):
But she said she had to learn because she didn't
realize they was popping in the back of her throat.
I said, you can't, so, I replied, So I said,
you can't put the whole peck in your mouth. You
gotta put a little porch. It ain't no directions on them, no,
because no, because it's not for this. That's right, that's
a different usage.

Speaker 1 (51:48):
That is not what it's for. They have hop rocks
specifically for that text shot. Oh I ain't never. I
didn't know they had them, but they pop rock don't. Yeah,
because I have. You had told me to need I need.
So did you did you try the pop rocks sessionally?
I did try the pop rocks.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
Did it feel like it was it? Did you have
a good experience with the pop rocks. It wasn't a
bad experience, but it was a lot for me.

Speaker 1 (52:19):
Did you put? It was very distracting. What's too many?
Because some people put the whole because it's candy, so
some people put the whole.

Speaker 2 (52:30):
It was a good amount, Yeah, it was. You can't though,
because you got two different objects. You have many objects
in your mouth and then you got the main object
in your mouth and you just can't what I'm gonna
call you after this and will I'll let you know. Well,

(52:50):
it's not for us, it's it's for others, and you
can't box on us. No, they're gonna we pop it
all opro conuter.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
Oh what they got for us? They get everything. They
have ice, loub No, we don't need lube. I'm just
I don't know. I'm trying to think of what they
have besides whatever we have for us.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
There's ice and the tongue, and there's different types of
loves and different types of animals.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
No, we lou don't need that. I'm not I'm saying,
but they I am. I'm just saying.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
They have some that give you a little fulling sensation.
Oh okay, Yeah, they have the cooling and the warming
and the thank you.

Speaker 1 (53:50):
That's what the warm, No, the tito's give the shock. Mmm. Weck, y'all.
We need to we need to have.

Speaker 2 (54:03):
Our anniversary is coming up, so I'm gonna go to
the store and see what they got out.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
I wanna go.

Speaker 2 (54:10):
Wen't take a trip. Let's take a trip, all right.
Let's know I ain't got nobody to use it on,
but I can still take a trip.

Speaker 1 (54:20):
M I like that. I like going to see what's
going on in in the I may pack it in
my next trip.

Speaker 2 (54:27):
Oh mm, okay, okay, y'all love this. Let's get into
this tape of Batty's bill. Before we get into it, y'all,
let's ask our fans if there are some tricks that
you know you can recommend for Ashley.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
Her anniversary is coming up. Tricks or I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (54:50):
Phil is in the chat, so ladies, give give our
brother some suggestions on what he should you know, do
for Ashley for for their anniversary, and also to d
m Ashley and tell her what she can do for,
you know, for the anniversary to spice.

Speaker 1 (55:06):
It up a little bit. Yeah, y'all, let me.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
Also stand in what doesn't work either, so we can
avoid that ye, make sure instructions are involved.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
That was exactly exactly because I told y'all.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
About the top rocks and I didn't tell y'all you
didn't stay just put a couple.

Speaker 1 (55:30):
Yeah, like like we need the timing, we need to
know everything.

Speaker 2 (55:35):
Yeah, all right, y'all ready for the Humble Baddy's mail
please all right?

Speaker 1 (55:41):
I got it.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
It says from anonymous, Hey, Humble Baddy, can you give
advice to your print, to your fans on what you
did to glow up for yourself? I know everything starts within,
but it would be awesome to hear how each of
you started your low up journey.

Speaker 1 (56:01):
Thank you, thank low up journey. Ooh hmmm, well I
mean that we'll meet started. Yeah, I can say something.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
I feel like everyone has their moment of just like
low key, when their moment is of glowing up. I mean,
it could be a trigger, it could be something that happened,
It could be a breakup, it could be whatever the
case may be. I know that with me it definitely
started post divorce in my healing journey of like really

(56:33):
trying to find the essence of who alexis is, going
back to my spark, going back to like out of
disappointment of failure and all these things and really in
like really getting my confidence back. So I wanted to
tap into the essence of who Alexis is and what
am I going to do now?

Speaker 1 (56:51):
You know?

Speaker 2 (56:52):
So it helped me, Like I know that one thing
that really really resonated with me was establishing boundary, also
taking people, not having people like in my my space
that I have created of tranquility of peace that took
time and healing. And also saying no no has been

(57:15):
so beneficial to me with my mental health, with my time,
with my just my aura and really just like all
of that, I have put myself first. I made sure
I was the first priority and then my kids because
if I'm not healthy here and here, you know, then
everything is going to fall apart. And I and I

(57:36):
felt that, you know what I mean, if I'm if
I can't, if something happens to me, all this is
going down because this is who I am. So I
look at it like I had to prioritize Alexis, say
no and set boundaries. And that is how my glow
has been. You know, it's drinking water, it's health, it's
doing things that I like to do. Is traveling, it's

(57:58):
spending time with friends, it's eating out. It's all these
things that make me who I am. It's going to school,
it's following my passions. It's really just listening to my
heart and really just putting myself first. So that's how
my glow up came.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
Yeah, get I love it. I feel like I had
a glow up.

Speaker 2 (58:20):
After I had thoughts. I had a little I had
to figure out how to. I didn't do it on purpose,
but I got like this supernatural like Dreint, like I
just wanted to do everything. And for me, it was bodybuilding,
like I know, I wanted to be back in shape

(58:41):
and get my body back or whatever. But I was
like that's not enough, Like I need to do the extreme. Okay,
I need to be a body I need must by
the way. Yeah, So for me, I think like that
challenged me and pushed me and I had something to
focus on. And it wasn't so much about like you know,
getting my bidy back. It was more so like I'm

(59:01):
not about to challenge myself, like I am a mom,
but I'm so much more than that, Like I can
still do this, I can do that, I can do
whatever I want to do and right now, I want
a bodybuild and I know I got like so much
like flax from it.

Speaker 1 (59:15):
But can you ask you that.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
Now?

Speaker 1 (59:33):
I was like, no, I don't hear that. Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
Anyways, those pictures came up, by the way in my
phone from the memory.

Speaker 1 (59:41):
It was around the time I need to go back
and look at them because the bitch is out of shape. Okay,
look up because I'll never forget that you had that
baby stroller, right did in one parent?

Speaker 2 (59:56):
Yeah, so you know it was more about like just
like you said, alexis like just really being selfish and
kind of like worried about myself. And for me, I
needed to focus on myself and you have to focus
to bodybuilt it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
Oh yes, very good.

Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
That for me was like how I got back into
you know, my globe. I think that was the beginning
of it for me.

Speaker 1 (01:00:22):
Yeah, my glow up was.

Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
Rith medically retired from the military and starting my own business.
You know, I had a lot of doubt or people
who doubted me and you know said that you're crazy
for leaving the military after twelve and a half years
and why is that? Why is that you're not supposed
to leave after twelve and a half. I'm just most people.

(01:00:49):
Most people do the whole you know, they become dependent
on the military because it's a steady income, you know,
It's yeah, it's just it's safe and leaven at twelve
and a half years is very much premature in people's eyes.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Yeah, because they're scared. They don't know what else, what
else is out there?

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Okay, and I didn't know either, but I took you know,
I took the chance on myself and I knew there
was more.

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
You know, my thought process. If I know what I'm making.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
With it in my future five years from now, ten
years from now, I know what my paycheck is going
to be, that's not enough for me. So I like
to you know, strip, I like to go further in
life when it comes to that. So I was like,
you know, this is not for me, and it's time
to give it up. So I stepped out on faith

(01:01:41):
and opened up my own business with one check and
it just went up from there, like who would have
ever thought. After medically retired from the military. Two months later,
I opened up a business and I'm on national TV right.

(01:02:01):
Just to seem more for yourself and know, like you
can have it, Like whatever you want, you can attain it,
Like it's possible.

Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
I think that's the beginning.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Like your mindset just has to shift and you really
just have to focus like what you see for yourself,
what do you want your life to look like? You know,
and then just start go forward making actions. Don't just
talk about it, don't.

Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
Be about it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
Yeah, the common denominator is definitely that switch going off
of like what it is for me?

Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Like I feel like we've all said that same thing.

Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
It was something for me to do, and then that
catapult it because we get consumed with you know, as mothers,
as significant others, we put so much into everyone else
and forget about ourselves. So, like to answer you know,
the Humble Body's mail, it's really about tapping into your
essence of who you are, you're worth, your value, you

(01:03:00):
what do you want to leave your mark, your legacy
of while you're here, because you know, life is short,
so we only have one time at this So it's
definitely about self and being healthy for self, doing what
you like to do, showing up for those that show
up for you, you know, all these things and really
just at the end of the day, showing up for

(01:03:21):
yourself because you only one you the only one you got,
And don't.

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
Be afraid to step out on faith, like take us right,
take that leap.

Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
You know, there's no guide or that says that you're
gonna make it all the way correct and that you're
not going to fail. You're gonna fail, Get back up
and keep going. Don't be afraid to step out on
faith and do it. Yeah yeah, yeah, I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
Thank you for that, Humble Baddies mal. We appreciate you
