SPEAKER_00 (00:11):
This is Hunts and
Outfitting Podcast.
I'm your host and rookie guide,Ken Meyer.
I love everything hunting, theoutdoors, and all things
associated with it.
From stories to how-tos, you'llfind it here.
Welcome to the podcast.
Alright, hey guys, gals.
Welcome, welcome back.
(00:32):
Uh fired up to have you guyslistening.
As always, this podcast isgrowing every month, and that is
because of you guys.
So thank you for listening.
Thank you for sharing us out.
And uh please keep it up.
So this week on the podcast, weare talking about uh about two
weeks ago now, did some uh someguiding with some dear friends
(00:53):
of ours, clients, friends, started out as clients, turned
into friends.
So we're gonna be talking aboutthat.
Uh it's a good time.
They're out for a variety ofanimals, and we'll tell you
about that, particularly deerthis year.
And uh, I know a lot of you guysand gals are into full swing of
deer season right now.
And uh, you know, that's great.
Me, I don't uh how the huntingis around here, it's kind of
(01:16):
hard to spot and stalk.
You can do a little bit of it,and I do, but uh, there's just
so many leaves and crunchy, andthe size of land isn't massive
here, so I mean it's a lot ofstand hunting, and me, I
personally, uh I I get bored waytoo easily, way too easily
sitting there.
But I love putting in the work.
I love scouting, I love puttingup trail cameras, building
(01:37):
stands, moving around stands, food plots, working the land and
everything for that, figuringout where the deer are rubbed,
scrapes, looking for all of it.
I love that part.
As far as the hunting actuallygoes for deer, I don't mind
setting people up in my standsand uh letting them take a crack
at it.
I'll do a bit myself, but um, Ilike putting in the work more
than I actually like, you know, the hunting of them.
(01:59):
I like uh like a little morefast-paced.
Um also we're gonna be talkingabout some working dogs in here.
My coon hounds, you know, we hadthose out, my beagles, we had
them out, a friend of mine, wehad his German short hair
pointer out.
All these dogs work hard and dowell, and in order to keep doing
that, they're running off ofEnook Shook dog food.
All these dogs mentioned in thispodcast are on it, and they
(02:23):
perform well perform well off ofit.
Enookshuk ships to uh well theythey have over 800 resellers in
North America.
They ship to them, and uh, youknow, you go onto their website
site, Enookshuk, you type inyour address, and a reseller, a
trusted reseller, is gonna comeup near you, and that's where
you can get your dog food from.
(02:44):
They're not selling to these bigbox stores.
They keep the middleman out ofit, and they keep their prices
lower because of it, and they'reable to give you really good
high-quality dog food at anaffordable price.
Um, yes, we're gonna get intotalking about the uh the week of
hunting.
It was great too.
We even had a seafood night.
Uh, one of the guys that cameout hunting, he uh he brought
(03:06):
crab legs and scallops andshrimp, dip them up on the
Blackstone uh for myself and uhmy other guide helping me,
Caleb.
And um, you know, it was reallygreat, and we're gonna get right
into it.
And if you're looking to reachout to me, you can.
Uh you can email me,huntsonoutfitting at gmail.com,
or you can find me on Facebook,Ken Meyer, and you can find us
(03:30):
on Facebook to keep up withwhat's going on, hunts on
outfitting.
So uh some of you guys have beenfollowing that and been reaching
out to me, and I enjoy talkingto you, so thank you and keep it
up.
Boys, I'm happy to have you outtonight.
Um, you know, it's been a littlebit.
Kyle, Gilly's on the podcast.
You haven't been on for a littlebit.
SPEAKER_02 (03:47):
No, it's been a bit.
SPEAKER_00 (03:48):
It has been.
I'm gonna tell you a story,Ryan.
Thanks for coming out too.
You know, the the nights nowhave gotten longer, and like,
what can we do?
Why don't you guys come over?
We'll do a podcast, and Caleband I are gonna tell you guys a
story about our guiding.
SPEAKER_03 (04:00):
All kinds of lies.
SPEAKER_00 (04:02):
No, no, there's no
lies in it.
We don't lie on this podcast.
We exaggerate, make up stuff, take things out, put them in,
but we never lie.
Um, so with the uh with theHunts on Outfitting podcast, the
name did come from Hunts onOutfitting, which I did create
and um have the copyright tooand all that.
Um and we do the uh it did startout as outfitting and then it
(04:26):
morphed into the podcast.
We still do that.
So and how I I think I've saidthis on the podcast before, but
how I came up with the name waswhen the beagles, because I
mainly do the hunts with thewith the beagles chasing the
rabbits, when you let them go,and then all of a sudden you
hear them strike and startscreaming and going that they're
on the scent of a rabbit, I'lllook to somebody and I'll be
like, Hunts on.
And that's where I came up withhunts on outfitting.
(04:49):
So a little tidbit there.
So now if you didn't know, nowyou know the more you know, the
less you don't.
So, anyways, yeah, Kyle, we hada good night hunting raccoons
the other night.
Yeah, we did.
That was interesting becauseGreta had treed.
We thought we're like, where thehell is she?
And we look down there, and thenthis great big, massive old
brush pile that the farmer hadput there, like huge.
SPEAKER_01 (05:08):
Yeah, it was that's
that's how he made that field.
He just pushed it in the brand.
SPEAKER_00 (05:11):
Yeah, he just pushed
everything in, and it's huge.
And we're like, I can hear, Ithink.
I'm like, but she soundsfrustrated and not like
committed to a tree.
Then we're like looking for, andthen she's in like this hole in
this massive brush pile, and Iwas like, here, we'll pull her
out of there.
She was like gonna, I thoughtshe was gonna get stuck.
SPEAKER_02 (05:27):
Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (05:28):
She's waiting there,
and then I was like, All right,
well, you're like, Are you goingin?
I'm like, Oh, I gotta see whatshe's got.
So I, you know, put the headlampon.
SPEAKER_01 (05:34):
I would not have
stuck my head in there.
And there's a bear down inthere.
SPEAKER_00 (05:38):
I know, I should
have should have stuck my
there's one in there.
Should have stuck my hand infirst instead of my face, but
um, and then I get looked inthere, I'm like, I'm gonna need
the gun.
You see what?
I see one.
The thing's like, or whatever, you know, it's doing looking at
me and it's it's right in there.
SPEAKER_01 (05:52):
Was Greta in there
too, or Greta was on top?
SPEAKER_00 (05:54):
Oh shit, we took
Greta out and tied her her and
Houdini to.
SPEAKER_01 (05:57):
We should have seen
this.
SPEAKER_00 (05:57):
It was yeah, well,
we tied her her and Houdini up
to this great big um my two bluetick coon hands.
We tied them up to this like oldstump, and they ended up
breaking it.
They broke it.
So they were like, because I waslike, boy, they sound closer,
Kyle.
Kyle's like, oh yeah, they'restill tied, but they broke the
stump.
They're pulling it now.
SPEAKER_02 (06:14):
I'm like, oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00 (06:16):
Um, so I'm in there
and I'm I'm looking in, and it
it was like I jumped in thislike hole to look in.
It was about shoulder height, really, or head height, how far
in I was.
So then I still in the brushpile.
In the in the brush pile, yeah, with the coon.
So then I'm like looking, I seeit.
So I get the gun and I anyway,so I'm going down and I shoot,
and I thought it was a goodshot, but it wasn't.
(06:36):
It got spinning and going, andthen it went and more.
So then I'm like pulling back umsome brush and all that with my
hand, and then I'm like, there'sa coon that was just shot in
here that's not fully dead, Idon't think.
I'm gonna, you know, use astick.
So I used a stick and to pullback some more brush and stuff,
because there's like a tunnelunderneath, and then everything
just fell, and the thing cameshooting back and it's like
(06:56):
looking at me.
I was like, gun, gun, gun, gun, gun.
Anyways, Kyle gives me the gun, like, go back down, see it, made
good shot on it, and like, there, I got it.
And then I was like, you can letGreta go.
I was like, uh, you know, shecan go in the hole kind of and
sniff it.
I said, but there's no way inhell she'll be able to pull it
out.
I said, because it's like way inthere.
I said, she she can't reach it.
Anyways, and then we're likelooking, and all you see is
(07:17):
Greta's ass, because the rest ofher is in there, like, yeah,
barely, her tail.
Yeah, yeah.
And I was like, oh, Kyle's like,I think she's gonna, I'm like,
she can't reach it.
And we see Greta, she's like, pulling back, and um, sure as
shit, there's the raccoon.
I'm like, no way, probably 35 or40 pounds.
Yeah, it's a huge raccoon, but Iwas like, I was like, she got
(07:38):
it, because I I told Kyle, I'mlike, yeah, she can't get it
out.
She can sniff it and like I'llyou know, show her that you
know.
SPEAKER_01 (07:43):
She crawled out of
there on her belly like that.
Like, she wouldn't have no, youwouldn't think she'd have enough
power.
SPEAKER_00 (07:47):
She's just so
determined, like, so determined.
And then um, if Greta's the way, like, if she puts in more work
for a raccoon than Houdini, that's her raccoon.
If he comes near, you've you'veseen it, Ryan and stuff.
Like, she'll bite his head off.
And then anyway, so Houdini'slike walking by and she's like,
you know, ragged on the raccoon,it's dead and all that.
And he's just walking by, she'slike, I'm like, he just kept
(08:08):
going.
Kyle's like, he doesn't want tocheck it out.
I'm like, oh, he does, butshe'll take his head clean off
if he goes over there.
That's her coon.
So um, yeah, no, that's that wasgood.
Yeah, because you had well, hewas eating your apples, the
raccoon was.
Yeah, so he was fat.
It's dunking that hole, too.
Yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_01 (08:25):
I'd say they've been
in there a bit.
SPEAKER_00 (08:27):
Or he was farting,
like nervous farts.
Like I would be too.
You're just like enjoying thenight, crunching on some deer
hunter's apples, then you hearthis whoo, you know, and you you
go into your safe brush pile, and there's a dog standing
there, just like just nervousfarting the whole time.
It smells down here.
I nervous farted too when I sawhim.
(08:48):
I'm just kidding, I shit myself.
But when I when I did have myface in there, I was like,
hello.
He's looking at me like, holyshit.
Don't come forward.
Yeah, yeah, we were bothshitting ourselves at that
point.
Yeah, yeah.
But um, yeah, and then uh Caleb.
Uh Caleb, you've been on thepodcast quite a few times
before, but why don't you justgive a quick introduction to
(09:09):
yourself?
If you had to sum up yourself inone word, uh several words.
Several words.
All right, thanks, Caleb, forthat.
And uh, go ahead.
SPEAKER_03 (09:16):
I Caleb Jones, uh
Carpenter here in New Brunswick,
and guide as well.
Help guide with Ken.
SPEAKER_00 (09:23):
Yeah, good help's
hard to find, but I found it.
Um no, so we had these guys comedown, and um really great, and
this is the third year thatthey've come down, and I
remember the first time theycame down, we went on a rabbit
hunt, and uh, that day it was itwas uh snowing and it was like
freezing rain, snowing, slush,it was just miserable.
My friend Denver Lewis washelping me guide that day with
(09:45):
them, and anyways, we got somerabbits and uh it was just a
miserable day, and I toldDenver, like, well, uh, I'd say
that's the last time we're gonnasee those guys.
He's like, Yep, because we'relike, there's no way they'd come
back.
Like that the weather and stuffjust sucked.
I think this is the third yearthat they've come down, and uh,
you know, they're more they'remore they're friends more than
(10:05):
anything, and it's great to seethem come down, and I think
they're gonna continue to comedown every year from the sounds
of it, and that's great.
Happy to have them.
So the first time they camedown, we just did the rabbit
hunt.
The second year they came down, because they're from a way
little ways, quite a ways away, four or five hours away.
They stayed in a hotel the firstyear, and then the second year I
was like, Well, I got thislodge, you know, we can write
(10:27):
it's a camp.
It's a camp that a guy that Iknow uh leases it, and I he he
was gonna do some outfitting outof it.
It's a long story.
Um, but it's not really a camp.
I mean it it's a house.
SPEAKER_03 (10:42):
Yeah, it's a it's a
big spot.
SPEAKER_00 (10:44):
It's it's really
nice.
It's a beautiful spot out in themiddle nowhere.
Um, but it's got it's twostories, it sleeps eight quite
comfortably.
It's got two full-sizebathrooms, kitchen, washer,
dryer, like it's got a garagethere.
You can put the four wheelers inand everything.
I mean, it's a it's a nice, it'sa house.
It's a house.
It's got uh full electricityhooked up when the power bills
(11:07):
um paid.
Uh apparently it wasn't.
So we had the generator, but thegenerators ran everything.
And um, you know, it's well andseptic and all that.
It's a nice spot.
So the second year I was like, well, why don't you guys just
stay here for the night?
And then uh, you know, we'll gorabbit hunting, and they've
never been coon hunting beforeeither.
And if you've never done that,it's a pile of fun.
Because the first thing everyoneasks, because it's at night,
(11:29):
we've got guns and lights, they're like, is this legal?
I'm like, no, so shut yourmouth.
No, it is a hundred percent.
Um, as long as you have, youknow, in New Brunswick, anyways,
your hands have to be certified, they have to be hounds, you have
to have your fur harvester'slicense, you have to have a
hound hunting permit.
Uh I believe that's all.
Yeah.
So you can, but under thoseparameters.
(11:49):
And it's only coon.
It's not like, well, it's coonand maybe deer.
No, it's just coon.
Um, so anyway, so we went rabbithunting, and I remember uh we
went out that night, got fivecoon.
They had the first time theyever did that, it was a pile of
fun.
And then uh we got four or fiverabbits the next day.
We didn't even hunt that hard,so it was really good.
I got to run the coon hounds, myblue ticks, and my beagles on
the rabbits, so it was a goodtime.
(12:10):
This year, they're coming down, they're like, right, let's can
we stay at the uh the campagain?
I'm like, absolutely.
So they said we want to do uhthey wanted to do more hunting,
more deer hunting, because thewildlife management zone that
they're in is closed for deer.
There's not enough, a lot ofmoose.
There's hardly any deer, theyrarely even see deer.
They see a deer, they're like,holy shit, there's a deer.
(12:31):
So they wanted to do more, tryto do some deer hunting and some
other hunting.
So then I was like, I'm gonnahave to recruit somebody for
this.
And I thought, who could I get?
So I went through a long list ofpeople, everyone was busy, and
at the very bottom of the list, yes, was Caleb Crazy Ass Jones.
So uh Caleb came out, so no it'shandy, Caleb.
And uh so the first day wedecided that New Brunswick just
(12:53):
opened up a pheasant season lastyear.
It's a two-week season, and it'sroot two roosters per person
only.
And there's not a ton of wildpheasant here.
SPEAKER_03 (13:04):
No.
SPEAKER_00 (13:05):
In my personal
opinion, I think they opened the
season a bit early.
There's spots around, butthere's spots, yeah.
It's not a high population.
No.
Um, but there's a few.
So there's this spot that youcan go to.
It's on, it's a marsh, it's areally big marsh, it's all
public land, and some of it'slike ducks and limited land, and
you can go there and hunt.
And last year we went therehunting and we flushed, uh I
(13:25):
don't know, 18 or 20, never gotthat many.
We saw a lot of hens and allthat, but we went to the same
area.
We figured we'd have a goodtime, and then they wanted to do
duck hunting after.
And I was like, we can do duckhunting there, it's perfect.
So um got the got them allready, got Caleb, and this is
what I like about a small townis the fact that everyone knows
(13:46):
everybody, and I I I like thatpart.
So we told them that we're gonnameet them at the local gas
station.
Caleb came to my house, pickedme up.
We got, you know, the barbecueor the black stone, fancy, um,
loaded up and the canoe and andeverything like that that we'd
need for the day.
And we met them there, and wehave a friend, a dear friend of
the podcast, who uh who's donesome trivia and stuff before, uh
(14:08):
Scott, old scooter McKillop.
And uh scooter, mathematicianMcKillop.
No, um so we told Scott wasgonna come out, and Scott has a
German short hair pointer, anduh he was going to bring his dog
along to help out, and Scottcame with me last year when we
did the pheasant hunting, andScott's uncle is actually part
(14:29):
of the reason why we even have apheasant season here in New
Brunswick.
So Caleb and I pull up and wesee our crew waiting for us in
their truck, and we see Scottparked next to them.
We're like, I wonder if theyknow, because it's like it's
dark out, it's like five 30 inthe morning or something.
It's dark.
I said, You think them sittingnext to each other, they know
they're gonna be hunting witheach other for the day?
And uh Scott never met them atall, and he just pulls right up.
(14:52):
He's like, You guys know KenMayer?
You going hunting with him?
They're like, Yeah, we are.
He's like, I'm Scott, I'm gonnago be with you too.
SPEAKER_02 (14:59):
I'm coming.
SPEAKER_00 (15:00):
Yeah, I'm coming.
So it's just funny though, that's how they met.
But yeah, he just pulled up, andthere's like, that's a carpool
area, so like it could have beenanybody, right?
And yeah, Scott just, you guysknow Ken?
You going hunting?
Okay.
SPEAKER_03 (15:11):
Yeah, that wasn't
the only time throughout the
week that they were sitting in alocal parking lot and somebody
rolled up and asked if they werehunting with Ken for the week.
SPEAKER_00 (15:18):
Yeah, yeah.
So yeah, it was later too whenuh they were waiting for me.
I'd picked up one group to bringthem to the truck and I was
going to get the other.
And um, they were sitting in aparking lot, and same thing, a
buddy of mine, Lane, Lane, youknow, pulls up, like, you guys
hunting with Ken?
They're like, Yeah.
It's like, okay, I know Ken.
SPEAKER_03 (15:35):
I feel I feel bad
for you guys.
SPEAKER_00 (15:37):
He didn't say that.
Uh if he did, he didn't mean it.
So um, no, but it's funny.
Yeah, that's what I like aboutthe small town.
People, you know, they know.
I mean, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, but was that
your butt I saw on the news theother night or something?
I don't know.
But whatever you've been up to.
Um so yeah, the um so the groupthere's we met, we got with
(15:58):
Scott, and then those who uh whohang out with me enough and know
me, uh I'm not overly serious, and and sometimes I can be no
one knows when to take meseriously, which sometimes can
bite me in the butt because noone believes me.
And Caleb, Caleb's a goodexample of that.
Ryan, your uh your girlfriend'sa good example of that too.
She'd be like, I I don't know ifare you being serious, Ken, or
(16:22):
not?
I'm like, I'm being deadserious, because I will say some
crazy stuff that is true.
And she's like, I think you are,but I'm I'm not sure.
He's like, is he Ryan?
Or you're like, I don't know.
He said he is.
I'm like, no, I am.
So how we went to this spotwhere we're going hunting is
you're on the highway, or youknow, those in the states you
call the interstate.
(16:42):
Um, and what you do is I toldCaleb, like, all right, we're
gonna go on the highway, andthen we're gonna take the exit
for this place called Olach.
I said as soon as you can't takethe exit, you're gonna turn
right, you're gonna get back onthe highway, and you're gonna go
right back to the direction thatwe just came from.
SPEAKER_03 (16:58):
Yeah, didn't believe
that.
SPEAKER_00 (16:59):
And Caleb didn't
believe me at all.
And so I'll he's like, which waydo we go?
I'm like, right.
And Caleb's like, no, and Calebgoes left.
And I was like, I told youright.
We're like, well, I thought youwere screwing with me.
I'm like, no, we go right backthe way that we came, and then
there's actually a little roadoff the highway that we take.
We're like, well, it's we'rehaving a bathroom break now.
Yeah.
So we ended up going to the gasstation that was to the left
(17:21):
because Caleb didn't believe me.
Anyway, so we got there.
Finally, we get back on thehighway, go right.
SPEAKER_03 (17:29):
Yep.
SPEAKER_00 (17:30):
Way, the right way.
SPEAKER_03 (17:31):
Back toward
Sackville.
SPEAKER_00 (17:32):
Back towards
Sackville, yeah.
And then we get on there andthen um and then we get ready
for Pheasant.
So then uh Scott, we got Scottgetting his dog Howie, old
Howard, uh, the German shorthair, and he is like wound for
sound.
He's I'll tell you those breedsare high energy.
SPEAKER_03 (17:46):
Yeah, he was loving
it.
SPEAKER_00 (17:47):
He was, and the his
owner's high energy too, so we
got geared up and all that.
And I don't know what theweather was shit.
We had high winds, we had rain.
I think the pheasants werehunkered down because we didn't
flush many.
We flushed a hen that was lowthat everyone could have shot
quite easily.
Uh, but that was a hen, and thena rooster that was shot at,
missed.
SPEAKER_03 (18:06):
Missed or hit and
dinged down.
One of the yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (18:09):
Couldn't find them,
but uh there they were just
holed up on the what it was.
We went to all the same placesas we did the year before, and
um it just didn't and we didsome walking too.
SPEAKER_03 (18:18):
That was a lot of
walking that day.
SPEAKER_00 (18:19):
Yeah, we did a lot
of walking.
The dog did really well too.
Um, but you know, everyone hadfun.
Scott's uh Scott's entertaining.
Those who know him, he's uh hehe's entertaining.
Yeah, so you won't be bored onthat hunt with him.
Uh and then yeah, Howie did agreat job hunting and all that
too.
And and then uh it was prettyrough walking, so Scott ended up
putting Howie, he he's just he'sskinny because he's so high
(18:42):
energy.
Scott feeds him well, but theGerman short hair pointers, the
working ones, are skinny.
And it was cold that day and hewas shivering, so Scott had like
a vest on him.
Yeah, and it got all wet.
The vest was soaking wet thoughfrom the rain.
The dog's like trying to take itoff.
He almost took off Caled'sbumper with the truck because
he's like rubbing to try to takeit off.
And then Scott ends up he endsup putting these booties on him,
on the dog, later in the day, too, because it was so thorns
(19:06):
and all that.
I'm like, I don't know.
I'd never seen that, and Idefinitely wouldn't put it on my
hands, but like, you know what?
Whatever you gotta do to keepyour dog going, Scott.
So he did, so the dog's like, quick, quick, quick, quick,
quick, going.
Like that.
And then he'd like go into thisthick stuff, and we're like,
we're like, Scott, he's hisboots coming off.
Scott's like, for fuck's sakes, and he'd like trying to put the
(19:27):
boot back on, and then uh he'dgo into this other thick stuff,
like come out like Scott, heleft his vest in there.
Scott would like dump jump thisditch to go get and eat shit.
Like, anyways, that was prettyentertaining.
And um, and then Caleb broughthis black stone, and then
there's a big old abandoned uhcovered bridge out there in the
(19:48):
middle of this marsh, and it wasit was so windy and everything,
just shit that day.
SPEAKER_03 (19:51):
It was pretty
miserable out there.
It was pretty nice to find someshelter.
SPEAKER_00 (19:54):
Well, so yeah, so we
found the shelter.
We had the black stone going andall that in there.
He had nice fresh percolatedcoffee and uh burgers and stuff,
and it was nice being in there.
Um, when Scott fell through thebridge, we realized why it was
decommissioned.
No, but uh it wasdecommissioned.
We had to like go over thisbarrier to get in, like we
didn't drive in there, we walkedin.
But it was nice, it was quitenice.
(20:15):
We got out of the wind and rainand all that.
So then um, and then here itcomes back again about people
not taking me seriously.
So we're going along, we seethis big black thing out in one
of the fields in the marsh, andwe're like, what is that?
We're like, I think it's a bear,and I was like, Well, we've got
our bear tags, right?
Like, we could shoot it.
And as we're going, and Calebgives me his binoculars, and
(20:36):
then I'm I'm looking, andCaleb's like, is it a bear?
I was like, No, it's a moose.
And Caleb's like, Oh, okay, ifyou're gonna fucking be like
that, like just go.
I'm like, because it's not ascrewing with him.
And Caleb starts driving away.
I was like, Oh, because hethought it's groom with him,
like, no, I'm dead serious, it'sa moose.
And then um he's like, Oh,you're being serious.
SPEAKER_03 (20:58):
It's a moose laying
down in the middle of a field in
the middle of a marsh, and ityeah, it did not look like a
moose.
SPEAKER_00 (21:04):
So no, so anyway,
until you put the binoculars up,
you can see so it's a bull, itwas a young younger bull, and so
it we're looking, we're like,oh, that's kind of neat.
And then then we got thinkingabout later, we're like, I
wonder, because the highway wasa few kilometers from there.
Yeah, you could see it, andwe're like, I don't wonder
though, is it was hit on thehighway and went there and laid
down because it was laying downfor a while, right?
(21:24):
So I don't know, so then we wewent there and we were hunting,
and then the the uh on thesedirt roads out there, the police
show up, and then uh Caleb justjoking.
SPEAKER_03 (21:32):
Took off running,
yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (21:33):
Well, yeah, yeah,
because he's got a lot of
warrants.
No, but Caleb just I thought hewas joking, Caleb's like, you
think I can register my truckbefore they run the plates?
I'm like, uh yeah, maybe I don'tknow.
And then I'll Caleb's like, andthen one of the guys we were
hunting with is like, no, Inoticed Caleb when we were at
the gas station, Caleb's platesare expired.
It's like, oh, so Caleb's like, yeah, I think he did it online.
(21:53):
Caleb's doing it online, he'slike quickly like trying to
register his truck because thepolice are parked there for a
while, and then and then that wegot we figured out in our group,
Scott was on up ahead thatsomebody probably called that
the moose was hit.
And because then they werewaiting at our vehicles.
Maybe they thought that we werethe ones that called, and then
they went further up.
(22:14):
And uh anyway, so then thepolice get out, and then we
they're they're a ways, they'rea little ways away.
Yeah, like you couldn't youcould see them, but not super
well.
Anyways, they're putting it, sothey're putting on their jacket,
right?
Because it's kind of it's wetand windy, and their arms out
because they're putting theirsleeve in.
And then Scott's like, Well, they're waving us over.
(22:34):
He's like, he's like, fuck.
He's like, Oh, I'm not goingover.
They can come in here and getme.
I'm like, I I was like, I don'teven think they're looking this
way, Scott.
He's like, and they theyweren't, but it's hard to tell,
but you could tell they weren'tlooking at us, they're looking
at the moose, right?
And it's a it was a ways off.
I don't know how many yards off,is a little ways off.
And then uh Scott's like, no,they they want well, I'm not
going out there.
(22:55):
They can come in here and getme.
I'm like, I I really don't thinkthey're looking at you, Scott.
I think it's something to dowith the moose.
He's like, No, and then theofficer was like, I don't know
if they were taking off theirhat or something like that.
Scott's like, look, they justwaved us over again.
I was like, No, I don't I don'tthink so, Scott.
Like they're adjusting theiruniform or something.
Anyway, so this other personshowed up and they're they're
(23:16):
there with the police for awhile, like looking at this
moose.
So that's what we figured wouldhappen, because we end up coming
out after Caleb got his truckregistered, and um, they didn't
come over at all.
So then, anyways, then uh wefigured like, all right, well,
the day's getting on, uh, thepheasant hunting, you know, I
think this weather wasn't goingwell.
I said, we're gonna do some duckhunting though.
And the ducks, there were theducks were plentiful.
(23:37):
So we get all set up, and Calebis good guy, and we were like,
all right, we're gonna set uphere, and I had this face paint,
right?
And I I love face paint becauseI was raised by my mom.
No, uh he loves doing hismakeup.
No.
Um I I was raised by my mom, butum Andy does like doing his
makeup.
But no, that's slightly true.
No, I uh I don't know, I likeputting on the face paint
(24:00):
because, well, for one, youdon't have to worry about
putting the mask on and off, andlike you're breathing in it, you
can smell your freaking coffeebreath and this and that with
the face paint.
It does cover your you knowwhite face all up if you're
white, and uh and the ducks willsee it and flare, you know.
So, because we have a friendthat has uh a big round uh baby
(24:20):
face, and uh if he's listeningto this, he probably won't catch
on who I'm talking about.
And I think the ducks see it andflare it.
Don't know.
Nah, I won't know.
Um I just like it better than aface mask, but I do think
they're necessary when waterfellhunting because they can see
quite well.
So then I was like, all right,I'm gonna put on this face
paint, and then I told him, Iwas just joking, like, you guys
put some on too if you want.
And like they're all for it.
(24:41):
I'm like, fucking right, let'sget let's get her going.
This is our tribe.
Um, so anyway, so we were wellcamouflaged.
Yeah.
So I was like, all right, we'regonna lay in this bank here, and
then you know, the ducks wouldcome in.
We Caleb, you and I were doingsome calling, you were on one
side with uh part of the group, and I was on the other side with
part of the group, and like Iwent on.
Red Rover, Red Rover, send thoseshot shells right over.
(25:04):
No, um, we were on the sameside.
Uh like of the pond and in lifein general, we were on the same
side.
Um until uh until the uh topicof abortions came up.
No, I'm just kidding.
So um, so we were on the sameside.
So I was like, I'm gonna get upand I'm gonna go spook the ducks
because they were they werelaying down in this other spot
of the pond, and I could kind ofwait over there though.
(25:27):
But looking back, like the facepaint and our the stuff we were
wearing, like we were youcouldn't see us at all, really.
I sat on somebody.
No, no, but we we were reallywell camouflaged, it did work
well.
Um so the group, uh not I'm notgonna knock them, but they
admitted it.
Uh they're gonna practice skeetshooting uh before they come
down next year.
SPEAKER_03 (25:48):
There there was some
some missed opportunities.
SPEAKER_00 (25:51):
There was yeah, uh
yeah.
You guys had a lot of ducks comein that night?
We did actually.
Yeah, yeah, the duck hunting wasgood.
SPEAKER_03 (26:00):
But we knew there
was ducks there.
Oh yeah, yeah.
Ducks there for sure.
SPEAKER_00 (26:02):
Uh Caleb and I were
doing call no, we we did how
many we had a lot of ducks comein.
SPEAKER_03 (26:07):
Yeah, there was
there was lots of it.
SPEAKER_00 (26:08):
But in their
defense, so they hadn't really
hunted them.
So Caleb and I, you know.
They're fast.
They are fast, and we're we'rehunting.
There's mainly teal there.
SPEAKER_02 (26:15):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (26:15):
And teal, they are
small.
They're small and they dip andthey dive and they go.
And I mean, yeah.
If you're not used to it, theyare teal can be, even if you're
used to it, they can be hard tohit.
They're really fast.
It's like a flying chickennugget.
Basically, yeah.
A chicken nugget.
No, that's they taste like it.
Um but they're really small, there's not much to them, and
(26:35):
they can just yeah, they canmove or maneuver in the air
really fast.
Uh, and then they they alsocouldn't tell, like sometimes
the ducks seemed farther away tothem.
But Caleb and I did tell them,we're like, we're like, oh like,
take them, take them, take them.
And and be like that.
And then we'd see that duck flyoff.
We're like, okay, that's allright, we got more coming.
(26:57):
Um, so then you staged with onegroup, and I took part of them
too.
I'm like, all right, you guysstay there, we're gonna go up
here, and I could hear you guysshooting away.
We were shooting away.
I'm just like, all right, guys,we're gonna go up to this little
spot in the pond here.
I said, There's gonna be ducksin there.
I said, I'm gonna just hit theground.
I said, You guys open fire, right?
And so they did, and I've Iforgot to, you know, hit the
ground.
So I'm looking for a new hat ifanyone's got one.
(27:18):
Um I still can't hear anythingout of my left ear.
Um no, but I uh so I was like, all right, get ready.
So I get down, I just I just Ijust hit the ground, right?
I hit the dirt, and they openfired, uh and uh and the ducks
were safe.
Um and Caleb's group too, andthen they ended up uh we got a
(27:38):
couple.
SPEAKER_03 (27:38):
Yeah, we had one
that snuck right in on us.
It was it was getting to lastlight, it wasn't there yet, but
we had one sneak right in on usor along the horizon.
He couldn't really see itbecause it was so dark with like
the trees in the background orwhatever.
But you could see we couldactually see the reflection of
the bird landing on the waterbefore he could see the bird in
the sky.
Yeah.
Here's that sitting there like, shoot him, shoot him, shoot him,
and they're like looking forhim, and then they finally shot
(27:59):
after him after he jumped up.
He had hit the water, sat therefor a minute, and then jumped
back up, and they shot him whenhe jumped up.
SPEAKER_00 (28:05):
Yeah, we brought the
canoe, and I was like, I'm gonna
try to wade out to him.
I don't want to unload the canoefor one little teal.
And luckily I was I was able towade out and get him.
But uh no, we did we the duckhunting was really good.
Um, the shooting, I mean, they're hard, and you just
they're gonna practice someskeet shooting.
SPEAKER_01 (28:21):
They're a tough bird
to shoot.
SPEAKER_00 (28:22):
They are.
Yeah.
And you don't realize, like Isaid, their their depth
perception with it, like theycouldn't tell sometimes they
seemed real far or or they werecloser than they thought, stuff
like that.
So I mean, Caleb and I tried tohelp tell them when, but it's
yeah, that's it's how it is.
Can be humbling.
SPEAKER_01 (28:36):
Yep.
SPEAKER_00 (28:37):
And that's okay.
SPEAKER_01 (28:37):
Well, that's the
hardest waterfowl bird to shoot.
SPEAKER_00 (28:40):
Teal, yeah.
Oh, yeah, by fire.
Yeah.
Uh so anyway, so that no, thatwas fun, though.
We still we had a lot of fun.
A lot of fun.
Like, yeah, Scott wasentertaining and Howie did a
really good job and and allthat, and uh, we had a lot of
fun.
SPEAKER_03 (28:53):
So then uh Yeah, I
didn't really have much to say
that day.
SPEAKER_00 (28:57):
No, so Caleb lost
his voice that day, which was
great.
Yeah, um, actually it's kind ofannoying because I was just
answering myself all thequestions I was asking in the
conversation.
So I was having a lot of people.
SPEAKER_03 (29:07):
I got to the I got
to listen to Ken's inner
dialogue on the way home becauseI couldn't answer.
He did.
SPEAKER_00 (29:11):
I was saying
everything I was thinking inside
of the house.
I was.
I was like, well, I don't know,Caleb said I think that went
pretty good, but I said it wouldhave been nice to get, you know,
some more birds, but what do youthink?
And Caleb's like and I was like,yeah, I don't know, Caleb.
I mean, you're right.
I guess it's not our fault thatthe weather was bad and you know
there should be more fun.
I think they had fun too, right?
SPEAKER_03 (29:32):
Yeah, you're right,
Caleb.
I am a pretty good guy to night.
It's a great hour drive home.
SPEAKER_00 (29:35):
I'm the most
handsome guy you've ever met.
Well, thanks, Caleb.
You shouldn't have.
Um you want to kiss me?
Oh no, sorry, Caleb.
I'm happily married man, orwhatever he said.
I don't know, it's justparaphrasing.
But um Yeah, and then we stoppedat remember we stopped at
McDonald's way back, and I keptI had all my camel on and face
paint, and I I grew uh thebiggest beard I've grown in my
life, which isn't that big, andI damn near look like Duck
(29:57):
Dynasty in there, and I wasgetting a lot of stares.
SPEAKER_03 (29:59):
Mm-hmm.
I'm pretty sure somebody askedyou for your autograph.
Do you remember that?
SPEAKER_00 (30:03):
Like four.
SPEAKER_03 (30:04):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (30:05):
No, I don't know.
And then we went to Bass Proafter.
I'm like, I don't think everyoneat Bass Pro is gonna stare at me
funny wearing all this in there.
And we got the You always stareat me funny.
Oh yeah, and then Caleb.
So Caleb had no voice or hardlyany voice.
And then Caleb had sawdust inhis eye from the day before, and
he was digging at it.
So one of his eyes was likeright buggered out.
SPEAKER_03 (30:24):
Not from the day
before.
That was from the drive home.
SPEAKER_00 (30:26):
Was it?
Yeah.
Why did you have sawdust?
SPEAKER_03 (30:28):
I don't know.
Carpenter, sawdust in my truck.
SPEAKER_00 (30:30):
Oh yeah, okay.
Um, all right, so so we had it.
So his by the time we got toBass Pro though, because Caleb
been picking at it, it lookedlike buggered.
Like it looked bad, it lookedlike pink guy on steroids.
And so we're in there, and Ibought a Fox Pro call uh Fox Pro
coyote collar to do some counthunting this year.
And the girl's like at thecamera, she's like, You guys
getting back from hunting?
(30:51):
And because I had my face painton camera and all that, I'm
like, what gave it away?
She's like, and then parody.
Yeah, and then and then um andthen she like looks at Cale,
it's like she's like, You werehunting too?
And Cale's like, yeah.
And then she's like looking athim, like looking at me, and I'm
like, he's fine.
I'm like, he's just a little, you know, exaggerative uh with
stuff.
I'm like, no, I said he gotsawdust in his eye and he lost
(31:12):
his voice.
She's like, okay, he doesn'tlook too good.
I'm like, oh not any day, doeshe?
But you know, just today worse.
No, you did look bad.
And I'll I'll just told him likehe's fine, he just exaggerates
and stuff.
He's a bit of a wimp.
But Caleb, like I said, nohardly, little to no voice.
Like I said, his eye looked likepink guy, got pink eye, like ant
(31:35):
low to bag.
She's just like staring at us.
But anyways, so then the nextmorning, told the hunters, I'm
like, all right, so they drovetheir truck out to uh this spa,
it's like oh, 15, 20 minutesfrom the camp, and then they got
in my truck and I dropped two ofthem off at two stands, two of
them off, or two of them off, yeah, at their own stands, and
then two of them off.
(31:56):
There was a couple, Jacob andMarissa, and they were gonna
hunt in a stand together.
And um the deer hunting, it's itwas the first week of deer
season, it's always slow here.
That's everyone finds that.
You guys agree?
It is, it's slow, it's not uh,but they saw lots of deer, so
they all I think all of them inall their stands saw deer,
except for maybe one morningsomebody didn't.
(32:17):
Okay, yeah.
But that but yeah, we had fourof them.
One, yeah, the Jake and Marissawanted to hunt together a bit,
but at one point we did havefour of them in four different
stands.
Um they passed on some smallerbucks.
They were happy to see thatthough, because they said, you
know, they they wanted to try toget something bigger, which
there was bigger there.
I had pictures of lots of biggerdeer, but just that week, the
(32:37):
first week of deer season, it'shere, it's slow.
They're just not they're notmoving.
Um but yeah, they saw, I mean,at one point Jacob and Marissa
left barely 10 yards from thembecause they sent me a video,
they had like six does, right?
Like hardly ten yards from them.
I put everyone in a ground blindtoo, because one, if the
(32:58):
weather's shit, which it wasagain later in the week, you're
dry.
And two, I find that it holdsthe scent way better, right?
Like you you hear people in atree stand, just open tree stand
getting winded.
You don't hear people gettingwinded really in in a gram blind
at all.
So, like, well, the does are tenyards from them, six of them.
And uh, no, everyone saw deer, and everyone, you know, they saw
(33:18):
some smaller bucks and all that, but the big boys, they just they
weren't moving.
Um, so then then that thatnight, the next night, we went
out coon hunting, and uh, sosome of them had done it before
when they were with me beforeBrad and his son-in-law Jacob,
and then um they'd done it withme the year before, but that
year his son couldn't come by,and his daughter Marissa, so
(33:41):
then this year everyone wasthere so they could all do the
coon hunting.
We had fun, we had a good timeagain.
I had friends Denver Lane comeout, and uh basically it was
just a social thing because itwas just seven of us there, and
everyone's showing deer picturesand talking about hunting and
all that, which was fun, andthen we still got a few big fat
coons and everything.
So um, yeah, that was a goodtime.
Then we had a really great timehanging out at the camp and all
(34:02):
that, and then um Brad'syoungest son was coming out for
an evening, Phoenix, and Calebat one of your stands.
They had set up he had nice hehad a nice drop time buck coming
in.
Yeah, and remember Brad missedhim one night, but when did he
come in?
SPEAKER_03 (34:17):
Uh he was just there
like 10 minutes after he walked
in.
Yeah.
Yeah, he just saw it.
SPEAKER_00 (34:20):
Yeah, because Caleb,
yeah, we had a real had really
nice one of the stands.
We had one of her hunters inBrad, uh just a unique, what,
eight-point drop time?
Yeah, yeah.
And uh that was out in themiddle of nowhere.
So um, yeah, so Brad was gonnatry to get him.
Yeah, he came out, yeah, whatwas it 10, 15 minutes?
SPEAKER_03 (34:38):
Yeah, only 10
minutes after you're gonna be.
SPEAKER_00 (34:54):
He was 10 minutes
after you left.
Um, and he was there's a bearhanging around a bit there too.
So Brad's youngest son, Phoenix, came out and he only can come
out for one night and one nightonly.
He's 12 years old, and I waslike, he's like, you know, do
you do you mind if he shoots thebear if it comes home?
Like, no, I'd by all means shootthe bear.
So I'm hoping, you know, huntingis seeing that bear, he's been
in and out here and there.
(35:17):
Yeah, I mean, one night you cansee the headlights of the
vehicle coming out and the bearwas just coming in and stuff,
and I was like, man, you knowhow it is though, hunting.
The one night I really want thatbear to show up for Phoenix to
get him, he's not gonna come.
But you gotta think positive.
And I did.
I was like, you know what, thisis gonna be it.
So um, yeah, they had the 6.5need more, creed more, and um
(35:37):
actually it's a really nice gun.
It was a CZ uh Argo, I thinkit's called.
Really nice gun.
It's got like a pistol grip onit and everything, like just
nice, smooth operating gun.
Great for a youth hunter, 12years old.
The bear came out and Phoenixjust nailed him, and Caleb got
it on camera.
SPEAKER_03 (35:54):
Yeah, he dumped it.
I could see it right on him.
SPEAKER_00 (35:55):
Caleb got it on
camera.
So it's the bear, he shot, andhe he, you know, waited for the
shot and everything for theright shot.
He shot, just down the bearwent.
I think he double-lunged him.
SPEAKER_03 (36:06):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (36:07):
But um Caleb got the
picture too on on the camera,
like the bear just laid out, andthen apparently, I never got
that picture, the bear got upand took off.
SPEAKER_02 (36:15):
Yep.
SPEAKER_00 (36:15):
So they called me,
and I was gonna come out and
help them, but I was a littleways from the camp and I had the
other three hunters out.
I was hanging around their areain case they got a deer that
night, right?
And I was like, all right, well, just wait half an hour.
I said, and then um you guys cango for a walk in there.
I said, from the looks of theshot, I really don't think he
went far at all.
And I said they did, they did, they waited half an hour and
(36:38):
they went in.
I think the bear is 20 yardsaway, just dead.
Yeah, so it that was reallyexciting.
Phoenix got his, yeah, 12 yearsold, got his first big game
animal.
It was very cool.
Yeah, so we were quite excitedfor that.
Went out to the camp, had agreat camp night that night.
Um, then did some more deerhunting, and yeah, it just said
small bucks, uh, lots of does, and the big boys that week were
(36:58):
quiet, and then one of thetarget deer had this nice tall
tied eight-point where the uhtines almost met in the middle,
like the deer that you shot,Ryan.
And uh I wanted one of them toget him.
They're in my my personal foodplot and everything.
And uh the night they left, theday they left, they left on a
(37:19):
Sunday, that evening, the buckcame right through the food
plot.
I sent them the picture, they'relike, Oh, no way.
I'm like, oh that's that'shunting.
Uh, but it was a lot of fun.
They're already making plans tobe down again next year, and
Caleb and I will gladly hostthem again.
It was a busy week.
It was a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_03 (37:36):
Yeah, there was a
lot of hunting that week.
SPEAKER_00 (37:37):
It was a lot of
hunting and it and uh just yeah,
good jokes and camaraderie, andand uh the group coming down,
Brad, Jacob, Marissa, andBryden, they um they've become
friends with my friends thatjust happened to pop out of the
woodwork around here andeverything.
Uh, but it's great, you know.
That's just a nice thing aboutthe small town and community,
and I know a lot of people, anduh it's it's nice.
(37:58):
Yeah, it's really nice havingthat.
So that was uh our guiding week,Caleb.
So Caleb and I are working onsome stuff.
Um we're working on getting thatcamp a little more, and uh if we
do, there will be a lot morehunts offered, doing some spring
bear and stuff like that.
That's some there's some plansin the works for later in the
(38:18):
future.
And if so, those listen to this,we'll uh we'll definitely give a
discount for any listeners ofHunts and Outfitting Podcast.
And uh love to love to gohunting with some people that
listen on here from all over.
SPEAKER_03 (38:30):
You'll be the first
to hear.
SPEAKER_00 (38:31):
You guys will be,
yeah.
Yeah, you guys be the first tohear.
So there's some things in theworks.
This takes a little time, but umworking on that.
But yeah, we'd love to have somepeople come out and do some bear
hunting with us and deer andduck and pheasant and rabbit and
oh shit.
I forgot to say that too.
We did go out rabbit hunting aswell.
I forgot we did a lot, a lot ofhunting.
So, so uh so two of them ones godeer hunting again one morning,
(38:54):
and then the other two, youknow, Marissa, she'd never gone
rabbit hunting with the beaglesbefore.
Like, I'm not a rabbit hunterbefore, but the beagles, it's
just watching those dogs workand all that.
That's that's that's part that'sthe whole that's the whole point
of it to me.
SPEAKER_01 (39:06):
Right hearing the
dogs work the rabbits to the
woods, yeah, it's crazy.
It's crazy.
SPEAKER_03 (39:11):
Yeah, the
anticipation of the deer of the
rabbit being right in frontsomewhere.
SPEAKER_00 (39:14):
Yeah, because you
got your first rabbit this year,
Cam.
Like the anticipation, like yousaid, for waiting for like a
three-pound snowshoe hair.
Yeah, swear a moose is coming.
SPEAKER_03 (39:22):
Just to hop by
quietly.
SPEAKER_00 (39:23):
Yeah.
Yeah, you know, it's a lot offun.
SPEAKER_01 (39:25):
The rush is like
listening to a deer come through
the woods with excitement.
It really is.
It's a similar rush.
SPEAKER_00 (39:31):
And then you can do
it again.
Um, yeah, I can't believe Ialmost forgot about the rabbit
hunt.
So uh so Marissa hadn't tried itbefore, so I was like, all
right, so we'll go out with thebeagles and we're hunting
snowshoe hair, and the snowshoehair, man, they can run.
Uh so the dogs, the boys weredoing really, really good.
And um finally the rabbit, wegot in the woods there, and I
was like, man, we're close.
I could tell we were close.
(39:51):
And then I was like, I think therabbit turned.
So it turned, and then I waslike, just no one move.
I said, because it hasn't gonefar.
And then sure enough, it comeshopping right straight towards
us.
And I'm I was like, shoot,shoot, shoot.
And Jacob, I'm not making fun ofyour shooting.
You're you're a good shooter,and but you missed a little bit.
Um, because a lot of things I'vedone it before with the rabbit,
you don't realize they're asclose as they are sometimes.
(40:13):
And they're fast, and they'refast, so you're shooting over
them.
So it but it was literallyhopping straight towards us.
We're down on like our knees, like waiting for it.
So he's like, bang, bang, bang.
And then he's like, he'sreloading one in there, and then
Marissa sees it.
I'm like, shoot, shoot! And thenshe winged it, she did wing it,
and then bang, Jake Jacob gets afourth round off, and she got
(40:34):
it.
But anyways, it uh the boys cameout and they're all happy and
stuff, the Beagles, Fred andGringo, and uh, yeah, no, it was
a lot of fun.
And then never wanted to go deerhunting again that evening, so I
took them all out deer hunting, set them up, and then I ran uh
Buffy, Fred, and Gringo.
Again, just the three of themafter, just to exercise them.
But uh yes, we did the rabbithunting as well.
(40:56):
So it was fun.
It was a really good full weekand uh it was a good time.
Definitely, definitely be doingit again.
And it's it's it helps a lothaving like I mean this group
here, they were just like up foranything, like let's do it, good
attitudes, and just you know, fun to be around.
Yeah, that makes a bigdifference.
And they they're really safe toowith their guns and all that,
(41:17):
because you know, you hear thesestories about people singing and
talking and just waving itaround, no safety on, and just
you never know.
So um, it was a good time.
Caleb, anything to add?
SPEAKER_03 (41:27):
Not a thing.
I think you covered it prettywell now that you got the rabbit
story covered.
SPEAKER_00 (41:30):
I can't believe I
almost forgot that.
That's what started this wholething.
That's what started Hunts andOpening was the uh the snowshoe
hair hunts with beagles.
So um, yeah, but those of youlistening from all over the
world, like I said, you'll hearit here on here first when uh we
do end up getting some moreguiding going and all that.
Uh yeah.
Give a good discount tolisteners.
(41:52):
And then I've still got I gotquite a few more rabbit hunts
booked for this year.
And uh yeah, yeah, turkey hunts.
Kyle, you were part of the uhfirst hunts and outfitting
turkey guided turkey hunt, andthat was a success, you know, a
learning curve, a success.
That was a lot of fun.
I know I was like, come on,Kyle, let's get up this hill.
You're like, well, why can't wejust set up down here?
And I was like, No, we can seebetter up here.
(42:14):
I can hear you cursing me goingup, like you son of a bitch.
But it worked quite well, didn'tit?
The turkeys came in perfect.
So uh that story is uh yeah, that was a few episodes ago.
So thanks for coming out, boys.
SPEAKER_01 (42:26):
Thanks.
Thanks for having me.
