The Real Housewives of Orange County are packing their bags—and plenty of drama—for Amsterdam!

(Season 19, Episode 15)

Shannon hosts a party for Jenn, and the women decide it’s time for an international getaway. Before the trip, Heather opens up about the emotional process of spreading her father’s ashes, while Tamra and Eddie, and Gina and Travis, each reflect on their relationships.

Once in Amsterdam, Emily wastes no time stirring the pot between Tamra and Shannon. Some of the Housewives sample space cakes, leading to some hilarious highs—especially for Shannon. Meanwhile, Jenn feels torn between her friendships with Alexis and Shannon, and Gretchen airs a long list of grievances about Tamra. By the time dinner rolls around, chaos (and the entire menu) are the order for the evening.

(00:15):
Welcome to the episode of Husbands Watching Housewives.
I'm Scott and I'm Jeff, and we just watched an episode of The
Real Housewives of Orange County.
Yes, in Amsterdam. Yes, well, half in Orange
County, half in Amsterdam. That was heavy on the orange.
It was heavy on the heavy on theorange indeed.
Yes. Yeah.
Well, before we get there, I just wanted to go ahead and
thank everyone for listening today.

(00:38):
I stumbled onto a little bit of a slow period during my after my
lunch break and I was Googling around and like looking, I found
like I found podcast charts and saw that we apparently rank on
the podcast and I was like, oh, crazy.
So that was a new thing. But then also I discovered we
have like comments and reviews places I didn't know existed or
I just don't check very often. And I have to say like someone

(01:02):
on our Apple, I think it was on Apple.
We have two reviews of our podcast there that are just
absolutely one of them is absolutely wonderful.
And so whoever left the one about us being, you know, nice
considerate people who with soothing voices.
Yeah, slow soothing voices thing.
I was like, oh really? No, it really made really made
our day. It's like a definitely a high

(01:23):
point in my boring work day, yeah.
And it's just so weird because there's so many places, like
between all the social media andthen the different podcasting
platforms, there could be comments out there like on like
Pod Bean or some weird podcast platform I don't use.
Pod bean not to be confused. Love bean.
Yes. It's not to be confused with
Mauricio's love bean. So yeah, just in general.

(01:45):
Thank you everyone who is leaving comments.
It made me think of, I think, you know, we don't talk about
him very much, but our very first kind of follower and
commenter, not JD Nutmeg Bear, he's still out there.
He's still liking our videos. So hi.
Hi. How you doing?
How you doing out there in the Nutmeg state?
So anyway, no, I mean, it's the sort of thing we're like, you

(02:06):
know, we are building a little bit of a community here and
it's, it's hard to remember thatwhen you know it, it just, it's,
it's all starting to happen. I think like we're, we're
getting more and more traction. I think we'd like to focus on
like, oh, like this video, we don't get enough views and we're
not looking at the, the, the listening of it.
All right? You know, people like, yeah,
leaving comments on Apple or other streaming stuff.

(02:28):
But yeah, we have a listener whoregularly comments on YouTube,
and she's British. And so she has, you know, she
was talking about how, you know, the English accent.
Everyone automatically thinks that you're, you know, posh and
intelligence. And hold.
TF Yeah, exactly. Oh yeah, yeah.
So yeah. But she like, comments on every
video and I'm like, it's so nice, it's really nice.
And I feel bad 'cause I see it sometimes.
I'm like, I really want to have something, you know?

(02:49):
Witty to. Witty to say or something, you
know, relevant. But sometimes I'm like, I do
agree with what you're saying. Like, yeah, and I feel like it's
kind of a cop out 'cause, you know, you're taking the time to
leave a comment, we should take the time to respond back in
kind. Yeah, at least on Facebook you
can like, love something. Or like give it a Care Bear.
Right, right. But yeah, it's really, it's
really nice and we appreciate itfor sure.

(03:11):
So like, subscribe, if you want to really surprise us, go leave
a review at Apple or at Spotify,do something like that.
Because that's where I'm like, oh, it's exciting.
It could be good or bad. Like if you find fault with
something, you know, you have a constructive criticism, we will
accept it. Yeah.
You don't want to live in a vacuum where you're like, oh,
I'm saying everything right? And everything is so hilarious.

(03:31):
Like for instance, people have rated our podcast like we had
like 24 ratings and I'm like, that's crazy.
We're like 4 1/2 stars. Again, like we tend to be like
this is just us doing this and is it any, is anyone even out
there right. And apparently so.
Apparently so. So thank.
Nice. Thank you.
Very, very nice. So back to Orange County.

(03:53):
We were talking about it that they clearly because we heard
that they the show ends in Amsterdam this season.
Right, so there's only two more episodes after this one and
apparently it ends on the trip Ileft Salt Lake City.
Right. And so they're getting the
usually on the episode post tripyou have like, oh, let's reflect
on our lives and where my storyline is wrapping up.
And they did it more. Clearly had to be doing that

(04:14):
before the the Amsterdam trip because you know, Heather had to
have her moment with Terry kind of recapping things and setting
up things, you know, about her father for later.
But also so just like, you know, the state of their their life in
the house, the house finishing that up.
And then Gina and Travis with that, finally his son is back
home. And they're trying to figure

(04:35):
she's glad that she came back and that their families are
together and they just have thishorrible ex hanging over their
head. But, you know, for now, they're
happy. And, you know, he almost cried.
And they are so, like, not that they're freaks, but it's a whole
like, who's going to match my freak?
They're so similar, Like, yeah, yeah.
I, I was trying when she was commenting about how everyone

(04:58):
thought he was, you know, so cute and fun at the western
party and everything. I was looking when they showed
him, I was like, oh, he is kind of cute in a.
In a When I say doofy, I don't mean like in a like, I don't.
Approachable. Yeah.
Yeah, like he's not like who's asuper hot husband?
Oh, I don't know. He it's The thing is, yeah, he's

(05:19):
not like super drop dead and he also doesn't seem like someone
who like even thinks that he's, you know, all that.
But it makes it a little bit more endearing when he right.
He's not like, you know, he's not vain right about.
He's just like, I'm just a regular guy.
I'm a dad. It's my girlfriend.
I'm supporting her on the show. Rather not talk about certain
things, but here we are crying on camera.
Well, then I started thinking. I tried to imagine what he

(05:41):
looked like without that beard. Have we?
I think the beard he would look very baby faced I think with I.
Agree but also like his when I was paying extra attention to
his mouth, his mouth just seems like it moves in a weird way but
it's accentuated by the beard soI really I want to see him
beard. Beard mouth movement.
And that's how ain't oh, Crammy is like, it's just again, freak

(06:03):
meets freak, right? But in a good way.
Yeah, Freak matches Freak. Freak matches Freak.
Yes, yes. Then they did was Emily didn't
get really anything. She'd mentioned it on the boat
that they have a diagnosis for Luke right, which didn't say
what it was. I'm sure that'll be in her in
card right right in season, but. It's nice they have a plan and
they can take care of moving forward.
They built a bear at the Build-a-bear workshop.

(06:25):
Is there the whole thing you canlike put your voice in?
Yeah, and I'm sure as a 10 year old who's, you know, whose
friends are maybe going to see this on TV and they're like,
hey, great, you have a Build-a-bear.
Yes, but it's fortunately it is sweet.
Yeah, it's so it's, you know, ifit's covering the hen.
Yes, for sure. Tamara and Eddie.
Yeah, that was steady. Apparently it's a song.

(06:45):
A what I. Remember when Tamara and Eddie
like started, We're together andAndy like kept singing the song?
Tamara and Eddie still going steady.
I think it's a song. Did he just make it a song?
No, it's actually a song. Well, yeah, looked that up.
Yeah. But that was a weird kind of
thing. Like they're kind of having like
a nice dinner out and kind of talking about Gretchen and like
their plan, you know, like, like, you know, this is the way

(07:05):
it should you should handle it moving forward.
Did I see? And then all of a sudden it got
into like, weird how well. When it was like, you know,
should we now Sophia is going tobe gone, right?
Like leave the state, which I don't think they will.
If anything, they would go to Big Bear.
That's they talk about all the time that she says they talk
about. And then it was like, you annoy
me when you do this and like we fight and we have like not

(07:27):
fight. She's like she's saying we've
had one good fight. Every six months.
And then he was saying that it'swhen she's drunk and I'm like, I
don't think she drink that much when she's not filming the show.
So did like he tell on her or was this like just during the
show and she's like raging? Oh, maybe.
Well, I'm sure also. And even if she doesn't drink
often, maybe you know, whenever she you know, if she does have

(07:47):
a, you know, few glasses of wineon the weekend.
It's really. Yeah, it adds up.
And that's when she decides to, you know, come at him.
That actually kind of kind of made sense.
What he said is that it's not that necessarily, you know, it's
he just, she just comes at him like and comes in hot, you know,
when you know, she, he's not expecting it, I guess.
But also the whole thing about how she can't accept help.

(08:08):
And I think it was probably a lot of their fights, like, why
can't you just, like, let me in?And even with her husband, you
know, hopefully therapy will help her with this, that she
just can't let the guard down orlet the wall down.
I, there's something he said that like I was like, Oh my God,
if, if I responded to you the way she responded to him, that

(08:28):
would be a serious problem for us.
Like the way that she was just like, he was like, well, because
it was very reasonable to me where he's like, you know, if
you just came to me and told me how you were feeling and didn't
wait until you were drunk, you know, had a few drinks and she's
like, it's not going to happen. Yeah, it's like immediately, no,
not going to do that. Yeah, and it's like part of me
was like, no, I'm not going to stop drinking.
Is that what you're saying or just but?

(08:50):
I'm not going to actually come to you in a reasonable way.
Yeah. That just imagine if I said that
to you, No, I'm not going to be reasonable to you.
Like where does that leave us? Yeah, you're like, you know, I
guess. Well, because she said, you
know, one of our issues is that is communication.
And so. But if she's not willing to like
meet him halfway and communicatethen.

(09:10):
But they seem to be fine. Yeah I agree.
Like they seem to have somethingthat works for them and
everything. What I dislike about this is
that all the comments on Reddit and everything eventually get
into them talking about how Tam you tell Eddie hates her.
Oh my God, like oh poor Eddie. And I'm like, I feel like Eddie
is the type of person if this wasn't working, he would leave.

(09:31):
He would be like, I love you, but like it's not going to work
out like this idea again. It's that whole like I think I
know Tamara from watching 5 minutes of Tamara, right?
And their relationship and theirmarriage.
And it's like you don't. Yeah, it seems to me from what
we've heard of her from her podcast and also from kind of
what they've even shown you ads is that they have, they each do

(09:54):
their own thing. Like they're not connected at
the hip. So they go off and they do their
own thing and they like to come together and do things together.
But then they go off and do their own things and come back,
you know, and that's, you know, a good, healthy relationship, I
think. I think also outside the show,
their thing is like very chill, like she's like she doesn't
leave the house very much. She doesn't have to.
She's in bed by 9 if not earlier, right?
So I think they're just kind of like a typical couple, but.

(10:19):
Is there anything else in OC? It was Gen. packing with Ryan
and his extremely tight shorts. I mean.
I mean, I didn't want to be looking and trying to check out
Ryan's business, but. Was it?
It was junk forward. He was very junk forward.
That's totally on purpose. I think Ryan is an overly sexual
person with both himself and hisfiance and it's like calm it

(10:40):
down. Yeah, I think he dresses to the
left, if I had to guess on that one.
But yeah, I kind of wanted to rewind it.
Like I, I almost asked you to rewind it so I could be like,
let me take a closer look at that.
But then I was like, oh, it's Ryan.
EW. That's a lot of EW.
That's like what Junior was saying.
Like I think maybe he sexualizesher too much.

(11:00):
It's like, yeah, he does. When it gets down to it, it's
like when everything out of his mouth is something about oh, I
want to, I want to bone you or whatever it's he might as well
be like a 13 year old going oogaooga.
You know it's. More like like an extra
unmarried of children, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's just we get it. And it's one thing like, you

(11:21):
know, yeah, we get it. You love her.
You think she's beautiful. Tell her that all the time.
But like, if if I were to walk around like all the time being
like, hey, why are you going to drop those pants?
Let me get that that ass, you know, you'd be like, get over
it. Like, you would be so grossed
out about it. And I just can't imagine that
Jen's just all like, Oh yeah, come on, baby, you know?
Like you're speaking my love language.

(11:43):
Rude, lewd comics not on camera. But maybe she's into it.
I don't. Know I don't know so.
Yeah, but nothing else in DOC other than.
Oh, we got a Oh, Shannon. Called her.
Daughter And then like there wasthat blip of like Slate and

(12:04):
Gretchen and just, you know, maybe we can you know, if you
could be fine with. Yeah.
All they do is talk about Tamara, her whole confessional
with like, this is my list of things.
The fact that, Oh my God, pull up a list.
First of all, the producer was saying like, what's the
difference between you and Tamara?
That producer knew about that list.

(12:25):
Someone told her, because she told somebody, I have a list.
So the fact that she could be like blah, blah, blah, here's my
short list. And it went on for like 10
minutes. And I think if we were to go
back and look at that list, I think we could find a what about
for every one of those points, yes, everything that she's
saying Tamara does or does not do and what makes her sets her
apart. I think we could say, well,
this, he did this, he did that for that.

(12:47):
Yeah, you didn't do exactly whatTamara did, but you do similar
things. And this idea of like, she needs
to fight fire Tamara. And that's like, or you can just
not fight at all. Like Tamara, unless you're
coming at her, she's not gonna well, try to ruin your world.
Like you came back on the show of an agenda.
So if you hadn't done that, likegirlfriend needs some therapy.

(13:08):
And that's where I know and now we're jumping around, but that's
where Heather was definitely like what?
Fight fire with fire? Like no, if you're anything,
you're just gonna you don't get Tamara pissed off.
Like going at Tamara with guns ablazing is gonna be the problem
every time. Like I'm not saying you know,
you should have to put on kids gloves, but if your if your

(13:29):
whole idea is to manage Tamara, if that's what your goal is,
you're not going to manage Tamara by going at her just as
hard. This season would have been so
much different had Gretchen, one, not coming with an agenda,
but two, once they allegedly gotto a good place on the beach, if
she hadn't gone back on that with, oh, yeah, she screwed so
and so in the studio, they wouldhave been totally different

(13:51):
season. Yeah.
And yet she just couldn't do that.
So I, I, I don't, I don't get her.
But we'll, you know, whatever. So they fly to Amsterdam.
Well, before that, we have to get to the Jen's not Bridal
bridal party. Oh.
I forgot. See that's how much.
Yeah, OK. Because it was like the wedding,
not bridal shower party and thenall the personal stuff and then
Amsterdam. So I think that the ladies were

(14:14):
correct and that Shannon wanted to be like, look at what I did
for you. I threw this party and, you
know, even though you don't evenknow when you're getting
married, I threw this thing on camera and I made sure, you
know, I'm mad that I didn't get the blush glass as much as it's
like, who's going to care? Well, I mean, she did pay.
I mean, she basically had a pullshe paid a lot of money for.

(14:36):
That well then she would get some money back.
Yeah, exactly. Clear blush.
Does it really matter? I wanted to match her
tablecloth. I'm sure it would have probably
been prettier. I don't know.
I was in bashful. I do.
I do think that Tamara, not Tamara, I do think that Shannon
was doing that because it's justkind of the right thing to do on

(14:57):
one hand. And but also, yes, she did
definitely want to grandstand and be like, look what a good
friend I am. No one else is doing this.
I did, but I don't think it was necessarily planned as a dig
towards anyone in specific. I think it was more of a of a
look how good of a friend I am and look how you know I support
what's going on and like I do what's right.

(15:17):
I also necessarily think it was I'm trying to get it Tamara by
like being friends with Jen. I think it's just that whoever
is she deems as friend worthy, she like, it's like love bombing
but with friendship, you know, it's like, oh, that's my person
now I'm gonna go home on earth. Jim's my person, you know?
And it's like cuz Shannon, cuz Tamara has Heather and Emily and

(15:41):
and. Emily has Gina and Gina has
Emily and. And Katie can't do Katie.
So yeah, just my person. And we're gonna throw this
party. And you know, so if she's a good
place with Tamara, then she would have thrown Tamara a
birthday party or something. But.
Yeah, it was really pretty. It was very pretty.
I don't think that they should wear any more lemon dresses on
Orange County because Jen. Jen wore better.

(16:02):
I'm just saying because wasn't that last season when Jen?
Oh, that whole dress they shook in the Ford.
Exactly. But that was a beautiful dress.
Not not that Shannon didn't wearit well, but wear it well.
Shannon, wear a typical like shift yeah dress, yeah, yeah,
pretty much. And then of course, we thought
it was a private event. And they flipped the camera
around. They were like, what the hell is
that? Like it was some restaurant and

(16:27):
they were on the green, but everybody else like under the
patio just. Yeah, and they're all wearing
high heels. And yeah, I keep cutting you
off. You're gonna say something.
No, I was saying they had the whole like marriage of ice
thing, which is whatever, whatever.
Might as well say like don't go to bed angry.
I did like that they were like, they made a point of, you know,
Heather's the only one who's never been divorced, right?

(16:49):
She's still married. And I didn't know Emily had been
married previously. I didn't either.
So do they ever? I mean, maybe they talked about
him before we watched. I've only heard my thing.
Only thing I remember is that Shane's been married before
because he has like grown kids. Right, right.
That because they just like had his daughter's wedding recently

(17:10):
or some such So and and Emily's very cool with his kids.
Yeah, I guess that that makes sense though, because I mean, if
Emily's probably in her 40s, right?
Emily's your age. My age.
So then, yeah, she had her kids 10 years ago and so she had a
probably 15 year gap somewhere in, you know, since her 20s.
And we now know that she had issues with getting pregnant and

(17:31):
her her sister was her surrogate.
I wish we'd been there. That story, that's fascinating.
Right, absolutely so, but. Yeah, and then the whole point
of the bridal party was like where we should go on a trip.
Where should we like I was collaborative there was.
Yeah, Bora Bora. The Maldives.
Pari. How about Amsterdam?

(17:54):
Well, my daughter was saying my Amsterdam is a good place to go.
I I want to go back to when Shannon calls her daughter.
You said there was a maze. I was Shannon thinking about
when her daughter said she was going to a rave and she heard
it. Oh.
Maybe. Because that's the sort of
Shannon sort of like what's bumbling this that like I could

(18:14):
see happening. What's bumbling in Amsterdam?
Yeah, she's Dutch. She's also Dutch.
Yeah, I think so. Yeah.
Danish. Dutch.
It's Dutch because like, the episode title for them is going
Dutch. Oh, got it.
That's cute. Very cute.
We're. Not going to do that.
No, no, no, we're not. I didn't realize that the
episode that on Salt Lake was the Salt Lake City Superman.

(18:37):
That was that was the episode ofa Bravo when I was like, oh,
that's funny. Because it's so random, I was
saying, you know, the Beverly Hills Amsterdam trip is so
iconic. And if I was a tradition, I
would say I know there's only somany places they can go, but I
would be like, maybe not Amsterdam.
Like that was like the whole they'll talk about my husband
and right and the glass throw and like beasts, like everything

(19:00):
went down in Amsterdam. But you know, I mean, different
cast, different show and but you're right, they could have
gone to any number of cities that are right around.
They could have gone to Sweden, they could have gone to right
Brussels, right? Is Brussels the country or the
city? It's a city.
What country is it in? I'm horrible with world
geography. Horrible.

(19:22):
No. Anyway, it'll come to me later.
But you've been to Amsterdam? I've been to Brussels, Amsterdam
and Paris. Yeah, Amsterdam was beautiful,
absolutely beautiful. I would love to go back.
I had a cold when I was there. Yes.
And they don't have cold medicine in the Netherlands like
they don't have Dayquil or Nyquil.
I don't believe in it. No honestly, like I went to a
pharmacy like I remember I had to get up like hella early and

(19:45):
walk. It was very cold because there
in the winter and I walked like all the way over to a pharmacy
and I was like, do you have likeany Nyquil or Dayquil?
And they're like, what? Like they had no idea what I was
talking about. And I Googled it.
I ended up like looking it up onsome expat website and they're
like, yeah, I have my family send me that stuff because their
solution is just like, it's a cold.

(20:06):
Live through it, you'll be fine. That's not the American way.
Yeah, well, also I'm on vacation.
I don't want to feel lousy. And so I ended up getting, you
know, just ended up having a space shake and drinking.
Wouldn't you like concoct some stuff like you got like?
Yeah, I I found some different things, like I found I think
they have cough syrup, but they don't have all the stuff that,
you know, I just wanted Dayquil because Dayquil just fixes me

(20:27):
right up. But but yeah, I don't recommend.
And that's why now I always travel with Dayquil like in no
matter what. I don't care if it's expired.
I have a little two things, a Dayquil and every one of my bags
that I own. It's oh.
Really. Whenever we go on a trip.
Oh yeah, Oh yeah, there's one inthe bottom of my my work bag,
one of the bottle bottom of my laptop bag for this.
And yeah. So take one and the sick of the
Bravo con. Oh yeah, just in case.

(20:49):
You never know. You never know those.
People together. You never know when you're gonna
end up in Amsterdam, and you need some someday, Quill so.
Sure, words were never spoken. So when they got on the
airplane, yeah, they flew JetBlue.
Is that what you concluded? Yeah, I didn't know that JetBlue
had so many like first class, business class.
I would have thought it would have to be, like, American or

(21:10):
right. So I was like, really?
And like those pods. Yeah.
Like that's a thing. I mean, that was a really good
ad for JetBlue because I was like, damn, it made me think,
especially on a 14 hour flight, like if we ever go to Europe, I
mean, we got a, we got a spring for those pods.
I would like a pod at least one of my life.
Once in my life. Yeah, because I would also like
to get to our destination and even though we'll be jet lagged

(21:32):
as hell, like I would like thereto be a snowball's chance in
hell that you actually may have slept.
That's the thing, I never sleep on planes.
I went to Italy once and didn't sleep the entire way and it was
probably like 12 hours or something like that.
And I just like. I don't know what I did but.
Now did you not sleep at all or did you do?
Your thing, I did my thing, I did my thing.

(21:52):
That's dosing thing, but like sitting up dosing.
But I think when I got there I slept for a bit like a bit of a
nap. I'm also not a napper, right.
So it's just like. Hard for you to recover.
Yes. One little fact about Jeff is
he's the original airline raw dogger.
You'll read though, you'll bringa book of course.

(22:12):
But he doesn't doesn't like earphones, like they hurt his
ears, give him headaches and stuff.
So like he will not put in earbuds or even wear earphones
on the outside. So he will sometimes I will be
like listen to music. We were on some flight recently
where there was like screaming kids everywhere.
And I'm like, whatever, I got mynoise cancellers on and and
you're sitting there like you're.

(22:33):
Just sitting there. I had my book though.
Staring straight ahead, but yeah.
But then he does this like thingwhere he like gets sleepy and
he's not sleeping, but he's doing the whole like.
Well, The thing is like, I thinkI I brought a book when I went
to Italy, but I didn't, I wasn'tinto it, so I didn't.
So I really was pretty much raw dog and I was like, let me just
think about life. I just think about life.
Yeah, couldn't, couldn't, I couldn't do that at all.

(22:55):
So, but yeah, that's why we needa pod.
Definitely need. Yes, a little.
Sleeping pod. That'd be nice.
That'd be really nice. And when she mentioned she's
like, oh, you just put your phone down and it charges.
I'm like, we got that in our gotthat in our car.
Yes, yeah, dual. Chargers.
We paid extra money for the dualcharging.
I'm so worried now with that though that like, you know, if
you charge your phone too much, it starts to lose its charge.

(23:17):
Like it won't hold it. I'm just so worried now.
I'm worried about it too, because I do it like I try not
to. I just like when I'm at work, I
will charge my phone if it's lowbecause I worry about like being
not at home and so far from home, right, So far from home
and not having a charged phone. So it's like, you know, it
charges overnight, which probably like it finishes
charging like way before I get up.

(23:39):
So that's overcharging. And then I'm charging at work
and I'm charging again. It's like it's a lot of charging
when you ride. You ride the bus though, so
like, it's like you wouldn't want your phone to die.
Exactly. Exactly.
So you know what? Yeah.
But now I feel better because the the old car didn't charge
reliably and and even this one does.
It does. And even here at home.

(23:59):
Well, and I also like it becausethere's little lights that blink
that show you it's charging. The charger I use here at home
sometimes doesn't charge for me.And so I wake up in the morning
and go, oh, I'm at 12%. But now I know in the car it'll
charge. I'm like, I'm all, I'm all set.
What a good it's. An investment?
It really is investment. Sanitize things.
Yeah, we learned there's a UVC sanitation compartment in the

(24:20):
car. Like the the car dealer was
like, oh, there's two glove compartments and they're like,
well, that's whatever. And yeah.
That was like, who needs that? Yeah, and one of them's like
really small too. And I was like, OK, I guess
we'll put the garage door opener, even though you can
program the mirror to open the garage.
It's amazing. It's so great.
But yeah, so we read about it and apparently it's for people
who want to just sanitize things.
They put it in there, 10 minuteslater it's sanitized.

(24:42):
This is the given thing like during COVID.
I I mean, the car was remodeled in 20 fours when they so I mean,
it's been a while, but yeah, maybe it is.
I don't know if it's anything that actually works.
I should look into it, but it because right now it just seems
like it's voodoo science or something.
It's like, OK, sure it's sanitizes.
It's like when they are in New Orleans at the Voodoo, right?
Brought it back to see. Thank you very much.

(25:03):
So they get to Amsterdam. It's the Amsterdam.
It's a lovely town, all the canals of.
Course Emily and Gina share A room.
Because they have to. Yeah, wouldn't be a trip without
that. Right.
It's like back when they like Shan.
Sorry, Shan, Ramona and Sonya would always have to share a
room. Oh yeah.
Yeah, I didn't know that. Yeah.

(25:24):
And then they put on their St. wear.
Yeah. That was bizarre.
It was. Like that's a lot of look, a lot
of like cameras. That's about the only one I
liked. I mean, Heather's was.
Emily in the cutouts was like, it was good.
Like, yeah, really good, Yeah, looks really good.

(25:45):
I Jen, was like too much with the hair.
The crimped hair. Well, and then the way the cut
behind, I know that's the whole point, is that the seam of that
dress went right between the cheeks.
Yeah, but then the lace and everything, it just looked a
little too a. Little Witchy.
Yeah. And also I think, I think it
doesn't go from day to night very well.
No it. Started off at night.
Yeah. Stayed there.
And they were like, in the day because they went on the whole,

(26:06):
like, canal trip. And she's like, you know, got to
get my witchy poo look for later, right?
And yeah. The canal trip, but I I enjoyed
the canal trip when I was there. It's very pretty.
I would like to do a canal trip.Sure.
I don't know what it is about water transportation.
It's. Just, it's just so nice, right?
It is. I like taking the ferry when I
can, and you're just like, oh, look at this, we're on.

(26:28):
Because that's the thing you do.You're usually in a car or bus.
So I'd like to be in like I'm onthe water and like there's some
houses and right, scenic and yeah.
So from the little trip there after they drove past Heather's
dad's house. And then it leads to Emily out
of nowhere. So, Shannon?
Oh yeah. How, like you could play a
drinking game? How many like times does Emily

(26:50):
say can I ask a question? Can I ask a question?
No. No, it's just going to end with
stirring shit. That's all.
It's going to end with don't. You think no, like I, Shannon
and Tamara are not going to be athing anymore, so let's just let
them coexist in the same space without drawing attention to the
thing. And then did Shannon even

(27:11):
respond? It seemed like everyone else
kind of got in the way for Shannon and really said
anything. Then Tamara did, she did it on
purpose. She does not forgive Tamara.
And you know, Tamara is and likecalled her see you next Tuesday.
Never said like are you a see you next Tuesday?
Like if I say that, does it matter if you're not a see you
next Tuesday? Right, right.
It's the same way that like, yeah, that's exactly what I said

(27:33):
to you. It's like when people get all
upset that like, oh, you, you know, you're calling, you know,
you're saying, oh, like it's if someone were to call me a racist
white man. Yeah, I'm not worried about that
because I know I'm not a racist white man, right.
So if you're not a see you next Tuesday, it shouldn't matter if
someone calls you that repeatedly or evil or evil,
because you're not. And especially, I do feel like

(27:55):
when Tamara was saying that, that's what she was saying,
like, well, are you one of those?
No, you're not. So, you know, don't worry about
it. Like if you're not one of those,
just yeah. Walk by, but in general, I just
understand the point. Emily was trying to the fact
they were talking about it earlier in the hotel room and

(28:16):
she's like, now's my chance. And I'm like, I don't it's it
was. Weird, I don't agree with.
That it was like almost as bad as like her saying I said it on
a trip. I don't trust you because it's
kind of your party now. Maybe that's gonna be her thing.
She's like, I've just become theawkward one when they're walking
around town because they go fromthat party then to.

(28:37):
Split up. They split up into.
They do. Dildo decorating and then into
space to the dispensary. Which is basically only to two
things to get Shannon the high as F, which she did because she
kept nibbling on the space cake, right?
And you asked me if I would do if here's a little another fact
about me. I have never done the marijuana.

(29:00):
Or any of the drugs? Not any of the drugs, but I've
never smoked pot that was an edible like I've had Tamra's.
No, you've had the THC like the yeah, it wasn't THC, You had the
CBD. It was a sleepy time.
Yeah, you had the CBD for edible, but you should do that
again. We should.
Those were helpful. For sure.
But no, I've never done. I just, it's not my thing and I

(29:20):
don't think if I was in Amsterdam I wouldn't do it there
either. When I went to Amsterdam, I was
a little irritated that it was already legal in America, at
least medically at the time, if not recreationally in
California. But because I did want to kind
of have that 80s kind of European road trip movie of
like, oh, we're in Amsterdam, it's legal, it's all good.

(29:42):
But I didn't want to like, I've had better weed in my life than
what they were selling in this dispensary.
So I was just like, oh, whatever.
Well, and then it's just so funny because like, it shouldn't
be a thing, but is it is kind ofcrazy to see like Heather Dubrow
with a lit joint. I'm like on TV and I'm like, is
that allowed? Because they would not have done
that in circa 20, 15 right with Beverly Hills, because it

(30:06):
wasn't. Was we legal?
In Elliot then in LA, yeah, probably medically at that time,
but it. Wasn't like a thing like it is
now, right? So it's just such a we've come
so far. For sure, yes, before, even
before Shannon had got the spacecake and that is of course out
there. The the number one mistake with

(30:27):
edibles is I'll just have a little bit more.
I'm not feeling it, No then even.
I know that. Then you're going to start
feeling it. But even prior to her getting
high, why does she walk around town like she's got a load in
her pants? Like it looks like she pooped
her pants and I just. I just don't understand.
I just her toe was hurt. Oh, that's, yes, that's true.

(30:49):
Because she did look like she's maybe walking back on her heels.
Yeah. And then just because she was
just waddling. Well, the fact that, like, she
wasn't even like she almost fellout of the the van when they got
there originally, and then when they got to the restaurant, she
fell out of the van. It's just her thing.
God bless her. I just don't want her to break a
hip. Yeah, like she falls a lot or

(31:11):
potentially falls. It's just I.
Just remember when she fell out of the boat and bruised herself
in that one season when they like went scuba diving or
something. She had oh right, she fell
backwards out of the boat like you're supposed to, but then
like ended up hitting her head on the boat or something.
Why do I remember these things like?
After a while it's like, is thisjust your thing?
Like you're just danger parentaldaft.

(31:31):
That was the same season where they were up in that weird tree
house restaurant. Oh the tree and they had like a
walk on the IT. Didn't have to walk on the rope.
They could have gone around, butthey're like, oh God, it was
her. And Vicki, I think, wasn't.
It Yeah. So Vicki came back in like a
special appearance. Yeah, I'm like, that's weird in
Mexico. Yeah, yeah.
So. But yeah, I wish, I wish Shannon

(31:52):
was a little bit more graceful. Never even happened.
So now the first thing is yeah, about getting Shannon high.
The second thing was swinging them up is so they can talk
about Alexis. And I'm sure Alexis is going to
have a field day with this because she loves talking about
the show. Yeah.
Here's the thing, you can be friends with everybody, like Jen

(32:13):
being friends with Alexis. So actually let me let's back it
up. Alexis is on 2TS and she was
talking about Jen and inviting her to the wedding and then
basically disinviting her because they seemed to be
growing apart. They weren't talking as much.
But before that they talked all the time and you know, had a
good friendship at even after Alexis left the show.

(32:36):
So for Jenna to be like, I don'treally talk to Alexis that much
is very interesting. And I'm sure Alexis will be
like, let me produce the texts of all our conversations.
But she to make it seem as let'smake it seem.
But for her to be like telling Shannon, well, I'm not going to
go because of you, Shannon, because that what it would do to
us. And I'm like.

(32:57):
Yeah, that's a little bit. So dumb.
You're grown ass women and in your 40s and 50s.
Just because she's friends with Alexis, she's not like taking
information back and forth. She's not Katie, you know, like
so for Shannon to be like, I couldn't be friends with Jen, I
couldn't be close with her. If she's friends with Alexis,
it's just dog. I mean, I think it's not, I

(33:17):
think it's not reasonable for real friends to be like that.
But I think as show friends, I think that's probably like
probably par for the course is to be like, well, I'd, you know,
rather you not be friends with that.
Person The thing is like it's not last season where Alexis was
doing well, seemingly doing everything to like take Shannon
down with John Jansen. It's it's not a factor anymore,

(33:39):
you know, so you yourself, yourself said like you could
have him sister, like he's damaged goods.
So let her be off with him and be happy.
And they got married. So whatever.
Shannon right. And just Jen could be friends
with you both. So yeah, that's a weird
situation. Very well, that's going to come
up, I'm sure. Oh, I absolutely.

(34:01):
What did you think about the penis decorating?
That's kind of. Silly.
I expected better. Like arts and crafts.
It seemed very arts and crafty. I was expecting like sequins and
glitter and like a whole, like awhole barrage of accoutrements.
Glitter penis. Yeah, or like maybe lasers that
would shoot out the sides or something.
Just something more than just like I'm the throw this little

(34:23):
Garter and boa around it and give it googly eyes.
I mean, it was basic. It was.
I don't understand it. I did like all the women's
response when Tamara was like, Ifound this fun thing.
We can all they're like, no, I think that does not sound fun at
all. That's.
Weird. Well, they come to Amsterdam.
It's a decorated Dick, right? I did Lancer.
I would not I. Did like the purveyor she was.
She was fabulous. She was great.

(34:43):
So and then they end up. Made at dinner.
Eat at dinner, they order everything.
Because they got the munchies. Shannon's all looped out, she
drops her bread and she gets groped by Tamra.
Yeah, they showed Tamra's. Tamra's derriere derriere.
Good derriere. Yeah.
I mean for, yeah, I mean keepingthat thing tight.

(35:06):
Right. Squats, Damn sure.
And then they have a fun time. Yeah.
Like, I thought I was like, where's the cliffhanger?
But then it's like, oh, 12 hours.
Yeah, they had to do the 12 hours later.
But it was nice to see them likejust be being loopy and being
fun and people like that. There used to be a balance in
Housewives of being like silly, ridiculous, fun and then also

(35:26):
fighting. You can't just be purely.
Fighting, I'm not going to lie though, I mean, I think a lot of
that has to do with the fact that half of them were probably
high, especially because especially if you get high
enough, you'd sometimes you justcan't have anxiety.
You're like, I know there's things I should be worried about
but I literally do not know how to do that right now but.
Then they did like when Shannon like stopped and was like wait.

(35:49):
That's true. But no, I think that's
definitely part of it because there's times when like I've
come home from work and just been like can't get my brain to
shut off and just be like, and I'm like, OK, maybe like a
little 5 milligram edible, that'll that'll help.
And I'm like, yeah, OK, now I'm OK.
Now I'm not worrying about that thing.
I can think about things and like really just start shifting
my mind into more amusing thingsthan worrying about the things

(36:12):
that I constantly worry about. So probably helpful.
Yeah. Anyway.
So yeah, 12 hours later, we've seen the preview, all hell seems
to break loose, and the big whatever happens, that word
makes it so they end the season on the trip.
Must be pretty big because. It's going to be the next two
episodes. Yes.
That's going to be interesting. And those 3.

(36:34):
Yeah, I I normally you can tell something but this is weirdly
edited together the scenes. And nothing is leaked out, which
is great. So I want to be surprised with
the revelation. I think it's Gretchen related.
It, I mean, it must be Gretchen related because that'll make it
high stakes at low stakes because, you know, no one will
get fired, just Gretchen won't come back.

(36:54):
Yeah, exactly. No, I also like that Gina seems
to be having some sort of conflict and a role in all this.
With Gretchen. Yeah.
So that'll be interesting to hear with how that works out.
So, but overall, yeah, I'd say it's a good episode.
It was a lot of filler. I could have done a lot less
personal story. Some of it was good.
Someone was like, okay. But again, they needed to wrap

(37:17):
up because we're not gonna get any of that right when they get
back. We gotta like have their version
of Merce in the purse. Yeah, we're not yet.
We haven't seen her spread the ashes.
No, I'm sure that'll be next. Next week.
If they blow it back on everyoneand then I'm like, so it's going
to pop up, Hey now that's what Ido.
Hey y'all, so I don't. Know what you're doing over

(37:37):
there. I don't know what.
You're doing over there was spreading those ashes, but I
don't. That was all those Murphs.
I got I got this purse I'm goingto leave right over here there.
It's going to pop up, Murse. Those are my purse.
Very good. So is that it?
We have her on. Yeah, yeah, I'm looking forward
to the next two episodes. And then the reunion.

(37:57):
Yes, yeah. You're right, we do need to get
bigger pictures for these walls then you call it.
This side, yes, that's a good side next time.
Now that I know where the NBC Universal stash of photos is
kept online and their media vault, I can make sure we get
them cuz these we all just you just found on the Internet.
This was, yeah, I just searched like, like OC shots and that's

(38:22):
what I got and. Probably got them off of like
other people's blog sites. I would feel bad doing that
because, you know, I feel like. No, I would not.
It wasn't from that. It was like these are like legit
don't come after me. Bravo, legit Bravo material.
Oh, that's fine. I mean, that's what it's there
for, right? OK, yeah, well, Bella, we've
gotten that little technical blurb.
I appreciate that. And we'll talk about it more

(38:42):
next time. Till.
Next time, we're sort of gettingtired.
