(00:15):
The welcome to the episode of Husbands Watching Housewives.
I'm Scott and I'm Jeff, and we just watched an episode of The
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
We did. We went to church.
We we sure did go to church. I need Jesus to like save me
from this cold. Yeah, and now you've given it to
me. I really appreciate it.
Sorry you're you're you're so giving.
You're still a loving husband. Everything that is mine is
(00:38):
yours. Oh, thank you so much.
Putting my germs. Yes, if you're just joining us,
we are two husbands and we watchhousewives and the fun part was
we met some people at Bravo Con that like were like where are
your wives? And we're like Oh no no no no,
we're each others husband. Like husbands watching
housewives are your wives here? And we're like, now we're
married to each other. Yeah, now we are the husbands
(00:59):
and we want. It's funny, like I I was
wondering like, what about us reads as straight?
What about most guys at Bravo Con Reads as straight is the
thing. It's where they're wearing
lives. Real men wear bravo.
Shirts, right, Right. It's very 2010.
Yeah. What I find interesting though,
is that I guess from the lens ofa straight white or straight
(01:20):
white, and why are they going tobe white?
Well, from the. From the lens of a straight
woman, I mean when they breed husband or see husbands watching
housewives, they think, oh you know, any husband.
But really, in our case, it is the two of us.
Yes husbands, yes you and I. But husbands should watch
Housewives. They should.
No, I mean I think right husbands should watch things
(01:40):
that their their partners are into, like Star Trek.
Is there a new one out right now?
No, nothing right now. Starfleet Academy is coming
here, but I don't know that I want you to watch.
No, no, that's the one with Starfleet Academy is the one
with Helen, not Helen Hunt. I'd.
Like to say Helen Hunt. Holly Hunter.
Oh yeah, is this new? New.
(02:00):
Yeah, it's going to be new, but it's set in the Discovery
future, and it's like, you know,it's iffy on the Star Trek.
Like I feel like the Canon of Star Trek is so all over the
place. It is.
Like it's just with all these different worlds.
So when you say like it's discovery, I'm like, what does
that mean? Yeah, a lot of people don't like
Discovery because it goes too far off the beaten path.
(02:22):
And people call it, like, emotional and soapy because
like, every time someone's crying on it and it's like,
whatever. People also accuse it of being
too woke, as though Star Trek hasn't been woke since 1960.
Seven I was about to say hello first interracial kiss on TV I.
Know right, so it's just incredibly, incredibly
frustrating but meanwhile on Salt Lake City.
(02:43):
Yeah. So I apologize, I don't have
much of A voice that's been going, but.
You don't sound like Lisa Barlowyet at Bravo Con yet.
So I don't want your voice away in the Manger.
You should sing away in the Manger.
Do it. That's Brittany.
She had a pretty voice. No, she was great.
That's saying nothing beats Brittany.
She really does. So we started with Brittany and
(03:05):
it was all about her for her high body count.
Oh, right, right, right. I was like, where?
I don't remember that part, but yes, that was cute that everyone
was went over to was at Whitney's house.
Whitney said that in the kitchen.
Kitchen was amazing the. Island goes on forever.
I'm loving about kitchens these days is the multi colored like
the multi tone cabinets. I like the little bit of wood.
I like the stone. I like the paint.
(03:27):
I like, I like it. I like that the textures.
It's very nice and rich. That's what they say.
They say it's textures. You need to have like layers of
texture. In a.
Kitchen texture Hard to do so that was sweet.
Apparently broccoli smells like poo in Salt Lake City.
That was an interesting. It's warm with some Mac and
cheese that'll. Cover it right up.
(03:48):
I think that's cute they had a potluck.
I love that Brahman brought likesomething from a store.
From a bakery, clearly, yeah. And she made something Greek,
because why wouldn't she, right? And then they had the
Build-a-bear workstation. That was so cute.
That would be great for a kids. Art that really, really would.
Be it's like fills it out with the oh gosh.
You'd have that stuffing everywhere.
(04:10):
I could use that stuffing honestly for our couch cushions,
but I. Still build a couch.
Build a couch? Yeah.
How do I yell that? Cat cats will destroy your couch
as you all know, but ours did itin a way where they would just
sleep on top of the pillows and deform them all and now I can't
get them. It was Maeve, it was, God rest
her soul, it was. But I need to bring it to that
guy. But I'm afraid of the timing of
(04:30):
bringing it to the couch upholstery place and then not
having cushions for a weekend. That'd be really uncomfortable.
We would deal with it because wewould have better cushions.
That's true. Very true that for the new year.
Yes, we should do that. Before Christmas, yeah.
It was basically like, let's have a pot.
Look at your Brittany because webelieve her and you know.
Obviously, Lisa and Meredith were not invited.
(04:52):
Correct. Meredith was like a barely in
this episode. Yeah, it was.
Interesting that it was interesting that Mary showed up
and even though she's like, you know, I don't like Brittany, but
you know, what happened to her was awful.
Yeah, right is right. Wrong is wrong, right?
Right. Yes.
Yeah. I think we're all like, we can't
move forward unless they're gonna take accountability.
So we'll see how that goes. And then Rodwyn talked about her
(05:14):
issue. Odd.
Well. Whitney was like, I noticed
you're not wearing a ring. That would have been Angie sang
Ring, but. Your feelings.
Yes. And she's like, oh, and then,
yeah, she laid that all out there.
And that was interesting. Gets more into that in a very
awkward scene later. We'll get to that.
We'll go from there. I don't remember really.
(05:36):
It was a lot of relationship conversation.
Oh, was Lisa and John Barlow? Did that happen next?
Not next, but we can get to that.
Yeah. First of all, I just.
It's just so funny to me. Like, I just saw this woman the
other day, told her she had pretty.
She had great hair. Yeah.
Life is crazy. Life is.
Crazy twists and turns. I'll say her hair wasn't as
glamorous in these episodes. No, it was shiny as app.
(05:58):
Well, that's the thing. At Bravo Con it was all straight
and very, very, you know, Crystal Gale, as I like to call
it very much. And then this in these episodes
is WAVY and like more natural probably for her.
She wore sunglasses, like the entire Bravo con except for at
the Watch Happens Live. Yeah.
She was wearing sunglasses. True, True.
But what did you think? Like I Yeah.
(06:21):
I mean, I, you know, in the whole, the whole John of it all,
it seemed interesting. I'm sorry, I think the Nyquil's
kicking in for me so already. Oh my God, we've talked about
this. How like Scott could have
medicine. It's like instance.
I'm very susceptible to medicine.
I've got to, you know, I'm very, very easy with it.
(06:41):
Look, Doctor Quinn. So John was, I don't know, I
thought it was very interesting because he was just trying to
tell her that like, you know, you know, it's always what your
feelings are, never about my feelings.
And then as he's telling her that, she starts to cut him off
and he's like, for instance, youwon't even let me finish.
It did borderline a little bit on, you know, I thought he got a
little bit snappy with her, like, no, let me finish was
(07:04):
like, OK, that don't need that. But then, you know, Todd shows
up later and he's and takes the cake earlier.
Yeah. For husband conversations.
For awkward husband conversations.
They're just the way it was, like they're not communicating
as well. He doesn't hug her as much.
He doesn't let her give advice to Henry.
(07:26):
Right. And she's working on the same
page. Yeah.
Yeah. And then that's because that's
where he says like, because if, you know, we were on the same
page, you'd want me on your page.
Like you don't want to be on my page at all, right?
So. It's very like Lisa's.
Lisa's show, yes. And it was interesting that he
says that they talk about work so much and that like seems to
be the primary thing that they discuss.
(07:47):
I'm sure work goes beyond that. Probably goes to housewives too.
Oh, I'm sure. Like I'm sure he's like, I don't
give a crap about Angie K or Bronwyn.
Like that's not real. Just like, no, that's my
reality. It does make me wonder if like,
that's what they're actually talking about because everything
else with their other work seemsto be going so poorly.
I mean. I saw like a clip, I think it
was like for a podcast that Robin did, and she was saying
(08:11):
that, you know, her relationshipwould just all got better when
she left the show because when she was on the show and 90% of
what they talked about was the show.
You know? So I'm sure like with Lisa, like
so much of her identity is the show now and it's led to other
things that she was famous before the show.
But I'm sure they talk a lot about Real Housewives.
(08:32):
Oh, absolutely. Yeah, and it's like Real
Housewives and Vita. That's why I look what they do.
Yeah. I thought it was interesting
that, you know, John was just trying to say like, you know, I
was trying to give you the perspective of, like, what it
might be for two boys living together, you know, how they
might react when, you know, Henry comes back.
Henry. No, the other one.
What's his name? Why can't I remember it right
(08:53):
now? I'm telling you, it's Nyquil.
Jack. Jack.
I think it. Was back in his mission.
And she's like, no, no, she wants to, you know, do it her
way. But no, you know, I get it.
What was next? Let's move on.
They're not inspiring me right now.
Did you do the caplets or like the liquid?
Liquid. That will hit you fast.
(09:13):
That's good. See, that's what it.
Is. We got to, we got to get to me.
We got to finish this or else I'm going to start kicking the
back of someone's airplane seat and become Meredith and just
start like, show me the TikTok. Show her the TikTok.
How do we get on TikTok? So how do I use my phone?
I don't understand. It was, well, Brittany and
(09:36):
Jared. That was awkward down in the.
First of all, Brittany is like the Marisol of Salt Lake.
She is so, like, so many confessionals and scenes for
being a friend of, like, she really is like, a step into full
time. Yeah.
I think we spent an entire segment basically watching her
wander around this park with Jared with her empty coffee cup.
(10:00):
And like, you know, I've been traumatized and you don't want
to like, be there for me and like you're gaslighting me and.
You need to watch the likes you're saying, like more than
Lisa Barlow did. Oh gosh.
In all her scenes. Thank you for holding me
accountable. Yeah, it was just like.
There you go, you did it again. It was just as if.
(10:21):
There was so much of their weirdeffed up relationship in this
scene. To see it play out, because
normally it's her talking about him, to see it in action was
pretty eye opening. I can't even find a way to
devil's advocate. I was trying to think of like
(10:42):
what he was saying, you know, hewas saying you're being so
unstable, but he was only sayingto him, do you want to be
committed or do you not want to be in a committed relationship?
Do you want to be my boyfriend or not be my boyfriend?
Yes, Brittany is unstable and or.
Erratic. I'd say erratic, I'd say
unstable. No, unstable is pretty harsh,
like seizure. Yeah, exactly.
(11:03):
That's that's that's an incorrect language.
Yes, but I I don't understand what he was trying to get at.
The only thing I could think of is if they just had the
conversation recently that they were going to be serious and
she's asking the question again,I can see how he would be
saying, you know, what is going on here.
But at the same time, I'm sure they also had the conversation
(11:26):
before they started filming. Let's go to the park and talk
about the status of our relationship.
So for him to be all, you know, oh, you're so unstable.
It just, it just didn't do him any favors.
Also like who called for the break?
I don't even recall. Well, I mean, she's on her 30
day fast. Let's start.
He starts making fun of and it just if you're going to be like
(11:48):
that, just go piss off. I I think, but he might have
been saying not to get into the head of Jared Osmond.
Please don't if you want to do a30 day fast.
And then now you're saying to me, what's our status?
Do you want me by way for it or not?
So but she has to get away from him because he is toxic but she
(12:09):
keeps going back. Just the way he talks to her
though, he's if that's if the way he talked to her on camera
when he knew that the entire country would be seeing him
treat her like that. If that's how it is behind
closed doors, girl, run. Run as far as you can.
Also, have you seen his face? He's, I mean, he's not an
(12:30):
unattractive man, I suppose, but.
There's not much because his personality makes him not.
Attractive, that's what it is. I, I, I I'm sure he's hunky to
many, many women of a certain age, but I don't find him hunky.
No, he's not the worst thing, but his personality.
It really sours. It sours me on him.
(12:50):
Yes, it's a lot of douche in theface.
Douche to the face. So yeah, I I don't know why I
would want to. I don't get it.
Yeah, you're right. One run, don't walk as she tried
to do through the. Not even the field, but the.
It was an empty like riverbed orsomething.
Well, it. Was also like people were
(13:11):
jogging. Yeah, I saw people in the
background, like faces blurred and everything, and I wonder if
they were wondering, oh, what's going on down there?
I'm just trying to jog here. What's going on?
And. Jared Osmond's down there
yelling at someone. No one knows who Jared Osmond
is. Except Bravo fans now.
Yes. So Mary and her son visited the
church before it reopened. We got a flashback of how she
(13:35):
redesigned it. What what?
I think they're doing a lot of weight lift, a lot of weight
lifting. I think they're using the word
renovate a little too liberally to be, you know, it's taken 2
years to renovate the church. What on earth takes 2 years to
renovate a church? Well, was I don't think.
I wonder if they were consistently working on it or
(13:55):
they had to stop because of. XY or Z?
Dramas, legal issues and acquisitions of being a cult.
Oh, that might do. That might have you know.
That might damper the progress, yes.
I was just wondering unless theywere installing in sprinkler
system and then to rewire the whole building, how the hell did
it take 2? Years they had more red carpet.
They ran out of red. Carpet.
They ran out of red fabric all together.
(14:16):
It was so odd. Her little ready room off to the
side was all like white everything and the weirdest
hotel carpet if I like. I didn't see it while we're
watching, but it it looked like Chanel carpeting, a Chanel
pattern but in carpet, but 10 times gaudier and something
you'd find in an old like brothel.
Great Wolf Lodge. Just some sort of lodge in the
(14:38):
Midwest. But anyway.
She does love her Chanel so maybe that was purpose.
Maybe it was, but yeah. And then the rest of the church
was just red, red, red, red, red, red, red, red, red.
It's. A lot of red.
A lot of red. Yeah.
Did anything happen with Heatherbefore?
No. No, they basically she was just
there. They threw the party.
Can I say they they could have done one?
(15:00):
If I were the ladies, I'd be a little pissed off that I got my
hair done perfect. And then I show up and Angie
like, let's do high body. Hair app.
It wasn't even high body count. It was like just, it was just
like there I stuck my finger in a socket hair.
Yeah, it was as though they're they were rushing to go to an
80s party and they were trying to rat their hair as fast as
they could and it didn't even look good.
(15:22):
It it looked like low body countair.
Body counts it needed. They just needed bump.
It's I. Don't even think that the bump,
it was the high body count part of it.
I really think it was the different layers and tendrils
and just kind of the the the sculpting, not sculpting, but
you know what I mean? Well she had like 5 weaves going
(15:43):
on at once, right? Basically.
A lot of. There must have been so many
Bobby pins in that thing to makeit do what it needed to do and
that to me, she. Got them off from a Teresa.
Shook out her hair from the wedding.
They're still coming out. Wonder Teresa must find Bobby
pins just all over the house. One of that.
Is at her venue, so OK, yeah. True.
(16:04):
So anyway, yeah, I didn't think it was good.
I didn't like the body. High body count, hair stick.
It was not cute to. Me.
No, just do a potluck. Keep it simple, exactly.
So I don't think we're missing anything major.
Well, Todd and Bronwyn. Todd and Bronwyn, that could
have been way more awkward. I like that.
(16:25):
I think Bronwyn set it up properly to say that, you know,
I do expect him to explain himself once he comes home.
And I think he did a good job ofgetting there and just saying,
you know, you know, we were bothheated.
Normally we discuss these things.
That's the one thing that gets us through it.
And this time we didn't. We both left.
We were angry. And, you know, we do need to
(16:47):
talk about it because that's kind of the hallmark of how we
get through our relationship, right?
And then and he started being Todd.
Well she was talking about things he obviously did not want
to talk about on camera, IE their sex life.
So I think he would be open to aconversation about openness in
(17:10):
their marriage, but he was sure not going to have it on.
On camera, yeah, on camera was alittle bit odd for sure.
Yeah, and then when she mentioned that she had spoken to
Whitney about it, he was pissed.Because you can't.
He's still AI, don't know what he does, but he's a businessman
and he doesn't need to have his.I'm speaking for him because I'm
(17:32):
Todd's spokesperson. He doesn't need to have his sex
life put out there when he's a serious business executive.
I think also, though, that it was interesting that the tact
that she took when he said, you know, why are you talking to her
about that was more, you know, her thing was I need to be able
to talk to my friends about this.
And I don't know if she was trying to be serious, like
(17:52):
because really girls serious about I need to talk to my
friends about this. Well.
What other girlfriends does she have though?
Yeah, that could be part of it. But yeah, I definitely think
that he was saying you don't need to be talking to your
friends who have a camera next to them at all times about.
This and who have like screwed you over in the past.
Yeah, so I I'm with him on that side.
I don't need my sex life aired on camera.
(18:16):
But, you know, if she is truly committed to, you know,
explaining and living her authentic life on camera, then,
oh, OK. But it does, it does feel
performative to me as though she's either, you know, looking
for a storyline or she's making this something or she's trying
to get something on camera so she can later on.
And I hate saying this, you know, get a divorce.
I don't think it's any of those things.
(18:37):
I think she's just being herselfand he's unwilling to do so, so
openly. So I think, you know, this is
her real life or it should be. This is what's happening and
she's being real about. But I don't think that should
come as a surprise to her. She knows who she married, you
know, You know what I mean. But in terms of all this, it
(18:58):
that wasn't something that they probably I don't think they have
talked about it like having other people and I'll, you know.
Right, right, right. So.
I. Get.
Yeah, I get it. I think it was.
I think I'll think that she is that calculated.
Right. Yeah.
I also was surprised that they're they've been married for
(19:18):
11 years. Yes, the fact that we've been
together 8. I'm just kind of like, oh, we're
not, we're not that far behind that also, I guess it's time
flies. Her daughter's 19 or 20 by now.
I think 20. So that makes sense that if
there've been the other eleven years, then he met her when she
was 9. That's why he's so protective of
her and that's. Still very much a kid age, you
(19:40):
know, since we don't have kids, you know, we don't measure our
lives by how many, how old our kid was at a certain time.
But you know, when they so when they tell us, you know, that
Todd's known her since she was alittle girl, I always just
imagine he's been there since she was like 4 or five.
But this makes sense that, you know, 11 years ago she'd be 9-8
or nine. That's or, so it's interesting.
(20:01):
For sure, I didn't put that together.
I thought to get somehow together for like 1520 years,
you know what I mean? But I don't know why I would
think that. Yeah, I, well, married.
Maybe they were together for a bit before they got married.
So perhaps, perhaps so. And that was interesting.
But then that does bring us to everyone going to church.
Anything else happened before church?
(20:23):
I don't think anything really did because Meredith wasn't in
it. We already what's what are you
doing grabbing your notes? Well, I wrote by a summary of
the episode as we were watching the episode.
Oh, so it's in chronological order?
Yeah. We're trying to be thorough
because sometimes we skip over some good parts and we get
downstairs later, like, oh damn it, we forgot the da da, da, da
(20:44):
part. So what?
Do we OK? Nope.
We're we're. Right on track.
Perfect. So we're at church.
We're outside of church, in fact.
Outside of church. And Whitney cannot figure out
what the expression is. Has she never?
She needs to watch more TV. It's sweating like a whore in
church. I also like to to add on Easter
(21:06):
Sunday because that's just givesit a bit more.
You're wearing a bonnet, you're a whore.
You're sweating. I love a blonde.
Thank you for painting this picture.
I really do appreciate it. I don't know where she got the
burning in church. I think she she's mixing
metaphors where there's the thing about because I remember
when we went to a dear friend ofthe family's funeral, my mom
(21:28):
laughed because, you know, the last time me and my brothers had
ever been in a church, who knowswhen, right?
So she kept laughing, saying, well, no one's, no one's, you
know, erupted in flames yet, so we must be good.
You're right, she was mixing thetwo because.
A lot of people. Yeah, make that set foot.
You set foot in church and. Gods to the smite you and 1st
you into flames. Exactly.
He event. Yes, So before we really get
(21:53):
well, I guess we can before we get into it.
I I don't I, I find it difficultto even humor the whole church
thing, which is. Awful of me.
The whole, the whole concept of going to church or God and, you
know, even when she was talking to Robert Junior about the a, a
program and, you know, needing ahigher power, you know, and I
(22:16):
just find the whole concept in my mind.
I just, I can't, I just can't buy into church and God and all
that stuff. Like I do believe I have some
spirituality and whatnot. But the idea of going to church
and all the things Mary was saying at the end, you know, God
will provide for you and whatever you need, God will give
you. And, and I know you can
(22:37):
interpret God in so many different ways and whatever
suits you best or whatever. I just again, I don't really
have that in me to believe that some magical creation is going
to make my life better or worse.I think I do that.
And so some people will say, well, maybe, you know, not that
I'm my own God, but you know, that, you know, I believing in
(22:58):
myself comes from God, you know, things like that.
And it's just like you just really, really stretching really
hard to justify, you know, you know, XY or Z.
So what the knowing this episodewas me about Mary reopening her
church. I was just like, oh, I don't
know how I'm going to feel aboutthis.
And I still don't know. I still don't really like it.
But no, it's interesting because, you know, I'm not a
(23:21):
religious person, but I do believe in some sort of
spirituality and believe in God.And I think things happen for a
reason and I feel the emotions. I don't, I'm not down with the
the message and the the preaching and the judgement that
(23:43):
can come with religion and church.
But I think the emotion and the music, especially that always
not that I listen to gospel. Like there's sometimes, you
know, people get gospel Jason, like Mariah quite often or just
like church music in general, like hearing that organ and the
(24:05):
like, people just getting up and, and dancing.
And I feel like that's very moving and the feeling of that
spirituality and, and whatnot. I know people, most were most
people. It's oh, they're feeling God and
you know, you know, and dancing and, and, and all that because
(24:26):
of Jesus moving through them. That's not me.
I just love the music and the, the emotion.
So I wasn't, you know, when Marywas doing her sermon, everyone
was getting so emotional. And I was, I found myself a bit
too, because they're all lookingfor something from her sermon of
like, Oh, I'm OK or I will be OK.
(24:47):
And, you know, so I could get behind that.
I just. Yeah.
Yeah. Did you?
I don't know. I sure I've asked this before,
but did you grow up going to churches like that?
I no OK not Pentecostal but we did go to church.
My mom is very religious. But I mean, was there gospel
music and was there, you know, that sort?
(25:08):
Of church, yes OK, that's what my favorite part.
I didn't like going to church, but I really enjoyed the music
of church. OK.
And that was my favorite. Part Yeah.
See, just like Heather and Whitney, I grew up Norman, so I
had a very, you know, somber church thing.
Granted, I stopped going. I was 9, so I was still going,
you know, after, you know, I remember singing hymns and
(25:29):
things, but it was just. You know, one off the same.
Yeah, it was 2. Or three hymns.
And honestly, my best, my favorite part was sacrament
because I got a little, you know, cup of bread and water and
got to go. Yeah, I ate some bread in
church, you know, because I was kind of hungry.
It was early in the morning, butyeah, so for me, that whole idea
of, you know, having got, you know, Jesus moved through you or
(25:50):
the whole singing and dancing. Catching the Spirit.
Yeah, I just don't get that at all.
I. Don't either.
But I mean, I do again, I can understand though that like some
people may not necessarily trulybelieve in, you know, Jesus and
this whole Bible story, but the whole concept that however the
music makes them feel is the equivalent of of the
(26:11):
spirituality. Like that's how they have it.
So, you know, I'm not trying to judge anybody.
But the whole idea behind going to church and just especially
when Mary starts one, when Mary says, I know we're skipping over
the whole Meredith and Mary part, we'll get back to it.
But when Mary says, I don't evenplan anything, I'm like, OK,
(26:31):
well, First off, that's just kind of a bad sermon, isn't it?
Don't most pastors, like, write all that stuff at the time and
make sure that there's a beginning, middle and end and it
makes sense and has a message? She's just getting up there and
winging it because I'm a huge fan of winging it as we're doing
right now. It's improv sermon.
Yeah, I don't. I don't know that that's a good
idea, especially when in the middle of it because there's
(26:52):
cameras there. She starts singling out the Real
Housewives. If I were the rest of her
congregation, I'd be like, what,Mary, what the heck are you
doing? Just.
Because I'm not miked. You're not going to talk.
You're. Not going to be like, hey,
George over there, you know thatthing you've been leading, God
will take care of it. Instead, you're Heather.
You don't know why you're here, but you'll figure it out and.
You're OK, Mayor. Mayor.
(27:12):
Mayor, mayor, mayor. Oh God.
What the hell was that? Yeah, so that was Meredith and
Lisa walking up at the last minute when everyone was.
Are they coming? Are they coming?
Are they? Coming and then they showed up
and. It's like hey boot.
I can't imagine that Mary was that outfit Meredith wearing the
(27:34):
same one that she wore in the last episode or just the same?
Color. It's just very similar because
Mary Meredith has this aestheticand it all looks the same.
We even see like in the trailer where she was wearing a bathing
suit that was basically like a suit.
Right, right. It was just a little much for me
and then for them both. Well, why wouldn't especially
Lisa, why wouldn't we be coming?Like, why wouldn't we show up?
(27:57):
I did like what Lisa said. It was, you know, seemed
performatively bad ass bitch, but she's, you know, I don't
care anymore, you know? I'm here for Mary.
I'm here for Mary and I don't, you know, if you don't want me
here, too bad, you know? But notice she didn't say it to
her face like that. She said, well, why wouldn't I
be here, right? You know so my name.
Typical housewives. Yeah.
(28:17):
That was, you know, just making them the moment and, oh, they're
going to come and they just had a different call time.
Yeah, that's what it was. It's like Q, Meredith and Lisa.
And then for Heather to say to whoever that was when you're
walking, oh, you're trying to leave me alone with them.
Like don't leave me alone with them.
Heather said that. Yeah, it's it's again, why don't
(28:37):
you say something? Maybe Church isn't the time to
confront them, but you could at least have said something.
Can I pull you aside by this baptismal pool?
Well, yeah, I mean, I guess if they can get into it at
Meredith's bar mitzvah, then youknow, right?
Why not at Mary's church? Church reopening?
Because probably Mary would freak the F out on them.
She would lose her shit and like, beat them with her gold
(28:57):
microphone, Yeah. Which, yeah, which had a little
feedback. Oh, it's a hot mic, Yeah.
So anyway. So the Spirit didn't move you?
Spirit did not move me. Yeah, this episode didn't really
move me. I think Andy oversold it at
Bravo Con as being really good episode.
I think you had some good moments.
Every housewife minus, well, maybe I was like -3 had some
(29:22):
really good moments and scenes and.
Right. We find out conversation.
We found out Mary's son relapsed.
It's so sad. Yeah, it.
Was very sad. Every day.
I feel like you're reading abouthim being arrested or whatever.
I just, he's not finding his wayand I hope he does.
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, it'd be good.
(29:43):
Yeah. Sorry I cut you off.
You're on a roll of of good stuff.
But. Oh, no, I was saying I don't
think it was the most amazing episode as Andy was hyping it,
but there were pockets of reallyinteresting, much like Whitney
and Bronwyn last week, there aren't conversations about
relationships. And I I liked that, you know,
(30:06):
the seeing Lisa and John talk about their marriage in not a
bullshit fake way. At least it was was being
herself. And I I liked her in this moment
talking to her husband about we're not on the same page and
you know, where are we? And yeah, you're on my page.
Am I on your page? Yeah, you're absolutely right.
(30:26):
Because it was the Todd, it was Todd and Bronwyn had a serious
conversation of the sorts, and then Lisa and John and then
Brittany and Jared, Brittany andJared.
So it was all about the relationships that the male
relationships, yes. So this Nyquil, holy hell, I am
not kidding you. If I sleep, if I don't go to
(30:47):
sleep soon, I am going to be Meredith Marx on an airplane.
I'm not joking. They're like, I'm like, this is.
Be kicking you so. Well, I think we covered
everyone and you know. We'll talk about it all next.
Time until next time.
