shea pestle, and this is my co

and connect to inner wisdom.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
For answers through
our episodes, we share behind
the scenes live sessions to helpyou tap into your inner
guidance.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Join us on this
journey of self-discovery and
utilize the power of hypnosis toconnect to your higher self.
Hi everyone, and welcome to ourfirst season.
We are so excited.
We've been putting a lot ofwork and also our hearts are in
this in all the episodes, and weare so excited to introduce,
(00:55):
how we did, hypnotherapy on eachother to connect to our higher
self.
So you are about to embark inthe journey in our minds.
So that's kind of cool, yeah, shay.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Yeah, I'm very
excited to be doing this with
all of you.
Thank you for joining us andlistening to our season.
This is unlike any otherpodcast because we're actually
interviewing the parts of usthat are in theta and delta wave
frequencies, and it's the partof us that goes beyond the human
self and the critical mind andthat we all have access to, and
(01:31):
so it's really transformativeand spiritual journey that we're
embarking on together, and I'mso excited that you're joining
us.
So in this episode, what youwill expect from us is we're
going to just introduce ourseason and the purpose of the
podcast.
We're also going to talk aboutthe outdated belief systems of
(01:55):
hypnotherapy and why we wouldwant to do hypnotherapy, and we
will also introduce each episodeand why and Stella, do you have
the other points?
Speaker 2 (02:06):
I don't know if I
want to reveal more, but I will.
So we will also share thehigher self, or you will get to
know what actually higher selfis and how we came to this
discovery and how that mightrelate to you.
Then we will share howhypnotherapy has helped us as
(02:26):
well as people that we work with, and we don't want you to get
deprived of knowledge on what isthe power of the subconscious
mind and why this relates toeveryone.
So we will share all about itand also give you as the last
thing we will give you some realscientific data so that you
(02:50):
will see that we are not justspeaking from our passion, but
there is some real hardcoreevidence supporting everything
that we say.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Amazing, let's get
into it, okay.
So, stella, please tell me thepurpose of the podcast that
we've created.
Maybe tell the audience alittle bit about this.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, sure, so I'll
just speak for myself.
First of all, I was reallyexcited that we recorded
something, that I find it'sintimate, but at the same time
it's very empowering andinspiring for everyone listening
, and I also hope that's myintention that everyone will
(03:29):
feel inspired and even curiousto connect to their higher
selves, because that's the partof them that holds all the
wisdom, all the answers that weas humans are always in a search
of.
But oftentimes there are somany things that are preventing
us to get to that place, andwith hypnotherapy we can
(03:50):
actually bypass our consciousmind, all the limitations, and
get in touch with that part.
And we wanted to show how ourjourneys even though they are
different, or maybe not journeys, but the way we channel, the
way we connect to our higherselves we're different and yours
will be obviously alsodifferent to our experience.
(04:11):
But we just kind of wanted toshare our journeys and share it
with you, in hope that, yeah, you will be inspired and want to
try it as well.
Amazing, be inspired and wantto try it as well.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Amazing.
Yeah, just based on my ownexperience, like I mean, I met
you, Stella, in school, gettingour clinical hypnotherapy
certificate, and yeah, we werebeing put into hypnosis daily,
multiple times a day, and whathappened was I kept on
connecting to a part of me thatjust understood everything that
(04:43):
I was working on within myselffrom a new perspective, and it
was like everything was like inperfect order, it was all by
design.
And coming to this place ofrealization and knowing that
everything is in the perfectmoment, and wow, and then
realizing in hypnosis, I canconnect to this part and yeah,
(05:06):
basically we can have a podcastand you interview my higher self
and I can speak from that place, and vice versa for you as well
.
And so that's what we did here, because it was just so
transformative in our ownpersonal lives that we want to
share this with all of youbecause of what's possible, and
I haven't seen anything unlikethis in podcasting today, and so
(05:28):
yeah.
I'm just truly fascinated and tosee where this will take us as
well.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yeah, I love it and
we had so many adventures, so,
yeah, I'm excited to share thosewith others.
I mean some of them, yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
I think at one point
we were just talking, talking,
talking before because we werepracticing hypnotherapy on each
other just to get good at it.
And then the first couple ofhours we'd just be talking.
It's like, oh, let's maybepress record next time and
create a podcast.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Exactly.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
So here we are.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I love it Exactly.
I love it All right.
And speaking of hypnotherapy, Iknow by just my experience that
there are so many outdatedbeliefs out there about
hypnotherapy, and would you liketo touch on some Shay?
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Oh yeah, I've noticed
this too and I think we've all
heard of like the cliche sort ofterms of hypnotherapy.
Oh, you're under a trance andyou're easily controlled and,
yeah, it's scary.
I don't know if I will havecontrol over myself and I don't
know if I can trust the person, the practitioner, blah, blah,
(06:39):
blah.
But I think that's justoutdated belief systems around
it.
I've never been under hypnosisand not aware of everything and
in control of anything that wasgoing on.
I'm fully aware, fully present,but it's basically a
psychological trick to bypassthe critical mind that always
wants to be in control ofeverything and, I'm sure, to our
(07:00):
listeners.
Have you ever experiencedmeditation and you know the mind
just wants to take you onanother journey that isn't just
focusing on your breath, right?
And so you can actually bypassthat and stop thinking and with
your practitioner that's trainedto get you into that state and
to bypass the critical mind, themonkey mind, and you actually
(07:21):
get into the nitty gritty andintelligence that's within us,
that's aware of every wakingmoment, from the moment you were
conceived even into the momentyou die, even every waking and
sleeping moment, and we can tapinto that intelligence and it's
getting out of that criticalmind to get there.
And yeah, so I've.
(07:42):
I've met many people that say,oh, I don't think, I don't even
know if I would be able to behypnotized too.
That's another one I've heard.
My question back to them islike have you ever driven
somewhere and you get out of thecar and be like whoa, how did I
get here?
Well, that's a waking hypnotictrance.
You were in.
You've done that route so manytimes that it's second nature
(08:05):
and you're in hypnosis.
Have you ever watched tv and acommercial goes on and you
realize, oh shit, I didn't evenrealize the show ended right, so
it's.
We're actually in hypnotictrance all the time yeah, we can
be.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Yeah, and I think you
you touched on two things that
I find are important to uh tostress here.
So one is, you talked abouttrust.
So I would say the first thingis that people can be hypnotized
if they want to.
It's not that someone like uscan just hypnotize someone.
(08:41):
It's always by consent.
That's one thing, and it'sreally important also to have a
rapport with anyone who you wantto do hypnotherapy with.
That's important.
And the last thing that I wantto touch on is because
meditation, I know, is more, issomething, it's a practice that
it's more common these days, orat least widely accepted, versus
(09:06):
hypnotherapy.
Might be not, or it's on theway there, but the difference
between being in meditation andhypnotherapy is that in
hypnotherapy you are veryfocused, so it's not like your
mind just wanders around.
Actually, the role of afacilitator is to guide you with
an intention, to do whateverthe purpose of this, of the
(09:29):
session was, so you also havefocus.
You're not just like aimlessly, you know, kind of roaming
around.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
So yeah, that's from
me yeah, exactly, I agree with
you on that.
Okay so, stella, why would onewant to do hypnotherapy?
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Why would one want
they wouldn't?
I'm kidding, of course theywould.
I mean, there are so many coolthings about it.
I mean, first of all, wealready touched a little bit on
what we are about to do or whatwe were doing, connecting to
your wisdom and all the partsthat are supportive, but also
(10:07):
connecting to the part thatmight be, I don't know, causing
you some issues, for example.
So the thing, what we areworking here is our subconscious
mind, and our subconscious mindis 90% of entire mind and it's
where all our beliefs and justthought patterns are stored.
Those are created by the age ofseven and now that means that
(10:32):
certain beliefs are, let's behonest, outdated.
So what we want to do is findthose beliefs that are in the
way of achieving what we wantand change them.
And hypnotherapy is such amiraculous but not really
miraculous, but really practicaland functional tool to change
(10:53):
those beliefs where they started.
So we really go in the rootcause of something of a belief
and change that emotional chargethat was created, so that a
person can create differentbeliefs, different patterns and,
yeah, just start rewiring theirbrain going forward.
And I would say the one thingthat is super cool with using
(11:16):
hypnotherapy is also manifesting.
So if someone wants to, let'ssay we want to create something
usually that's why we turn toany help.
We want our lives to be better.
But let's say you want to goforward and manifest something
that you currently don't have, obviously, but something that
(11:36):
you might feel, oh, it's out ofreach.
So hypnotherapy can actuallyhelp you with changing parts of
your self-identity that are inthe way of you achieving that
desire state of yeah, whateverthat is, and I find that really,
really powerful.
Would you add anything?
Speaker 1 (11:58):
uh, yeah, no, that's
perfectly said.
I think the reason why I love itis that it has nothing to do
really about the practice andthe practitioner and the
facilitator that's helping yougo through your subconscious
mind and get to some answers, orwhatever you are working on.
Let's use, for example, you haveanxiety and you're overcoming
(12:20):
this.
You are a perfect system.
You might not feel like it,right, we're imperfectly human,
but the cool thing is that wehave all the healing capacity
within us and it's all throughour belief systems and all the
stories that we're tellingourselves.
And so we're constantly tellingourselves a story in our minds
that will either allow us to beand feel like we are healed, or
(12:45):
be a victim and stuck in our ownway and to get sick and
diseased or unhealthy, and it'sall based on our stories and it
has a huge healing capacity fromall areas of life.
There's so many applications.
It's um, it's insane how youcan apply this modality and, as
(13:08):
again, it's all you.
Where's the power coming from?
It's you, your subconsciousmind, it's perfect intelligence,
and we can tap into that andovercome anything in the way of
your greatness.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
I love how you said
it.
It's yeah.
I just want to emphasize thepower is in you, that, and you
have all the capacity to createyour reality the way you would
like to.
All right, how about if weshare with our listeners?
Which episodes did we record?
(13:40):
What were the topics?
Do you want to start, shay?
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Sure, so the topics
that I did, that I was my higher
self was interviewed in, wasunderstanding the mechanics of
reality and self-development andhypnotherapy, and I believe
that was the first episode,actually.
And yeah it's just really givenyou a higher perspective of
(14:04):
reality in terms that almost ourthird dimensional minds might
not even comprehend, but it'she's speaking from a place that
we can and, yeah, that was areally cool episode.
And another episode waspolarity, contrast and duality.
So just how we experiencecontrast and polarity exactly as
it is and how intense that canbe on planet earth and the human
(14:27):
reality.
But it's a really unique andinteresting perspective that can
help many of you when you thinkof it of this way.
And the next one is emotions andfeelings, again, really delving
into the emotional intelligenceand how important that is and
we have we all have access tothis within ourselves because we
have an emotional body, and somy higher self spoke from that
(14:50):
place of emotional intelligenceand even creativity where, yeah,
humans are creative by nature, naturally creative.
I know I've met people that arethat say, oh, I don't have a
creative bone in my body, butbut that's not true, because we
procreate, we are meant tocreate, not only physiologically
(15:10):
, creating a family, but we canuse that and harness that energy
and to create and manifest inour life the ultimate lifestyle
or whatever you want in yourlife, and so the next four.
Stella, would you like to speakon?
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Sure.
So the next four is when myhigher self was interviewed.
So you'll also notice thedifference between how higher
selves can come through, becauseShay's higher self is obviously
different.
I mean, the way it comes acrossis different, which is great.
And I was speaking about trust, because trust is important,
(15:45):
just trusting ourselves,trusting life.
You know we might struggle withthat and, yeah, really, how to
tap into that one.
And self-worth.
I find that self-worth isreally big.
We are caught in so manybehaviors that are not really
serving us just because we mighthave low self-worth, and I
really wanted to touch on thatone.
(16:07):
And then I also spoke on twolimiting beliefs that I found
that are very prevalent in womenespecially.
The first one is I'm invisibleand the second one is I'm alone.
So, yeah, you'll have to tunein to hear more about those, but
(16:28):
I'm sure you'll find somethingthat will speak to you.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Okay.
So, stella, I'd like to ask youso in regards to the higher
self how did you connect to herand what is your experience with
your higher self, and mayberelating it to the listeners too
, so that they can understandwhat this means to you?
Speaker 2 (16:50):
yeah, that's such a
good question because I find
that oftentimes I'll just speakfor my experience I have this
idea how something should looklike.
You know, for example, oh, thisis the way I will connect to my
higher self, and then it canturn out to be something
completely different, and bydifferent it doesn't mean worse
(17:12):
or better, it's just different.
So I wanted to emphasize thatit's really important to have an
open mind more and approacheverything with curiosity, like
childlike curiosity, and be likeoh, I wonder what will this
experience be like for me?
And oftentimes, what you'lldiscover is that you've actually
been connecting to that partmore often than not, but maybe
(17:37):
you didn't either label it thisway and you don't have to label
it, or maybe yeah, I don't knowyou weren't so aware of you
connecting in this particularway.
So in my experience so when westarted doing this podcast or
recording and just doinghypnotherapy on each other the
way I experienced hypnotherapyin general, I'm very visual.
(17:59):
So what I see, I always see amovie.
For me it's everything as if Iwould watch a movie on screen,
and sometimes I'm kind of, asI'm watching, I'm thinking, okay
, so how do I translateeverything that I see in words.
So it's.
There is also this element ofknowing, but there is also
(18:22):
visual, very strong visualelement, yeah, in me connecting
to my higher self.
So oftentimes I was like, okay,so let me just explain
everything that I see.
Yeah, but that's how I, that'show I experience it, and how
about you tell me about yourjourney?
(18:44):
I want to know yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
So the best way I
describe it for people so that
they understand is have you everexperienced you being in the
perfect flow where the artistbecomes the art piece, the
dancer becomes the choreography, the actor becomes the character
?
It's like a perfect moment andyou're almost channeling the
best part of you and the part ofyou that's all loving, all
(19:15):
compassionate, all knowing, allintelligence, in that perfect
moment.
And I think, just in sayingthat, the listeners probably
have all experienced that at onepoint of time in their life.
And so how about calling uponthat part of you at any moment,
at any time, being able to comefrom that place more and more
(19:35):
every day, in any moment?
We all have a comfort zone, getting out of your comfort zone
, calling upon your higher self, doing the things that kind of
scare you, that you know, thatare good for you, for working on
your personality developmentright, and so for me I've.
I've used connecting to myhigher self for presentations.
(19:57):
I've done a meditation and justcalling upon my higher self,
just visualizing, bringing allof my energy in my body, being
complete, having faith andknowing that I have all the
information when the time comes, not needing to be in the way of
my own intelligence and thewords that are coming out of my
(20:18):
mouth, trying to be perfect, because that, you know,
paradoxically, doesn't work andjust allowing to be in that
state of flow and coming from aplace from your heart, even
right Speaking or being andfeeling in your heart, is a way
of being your best self, unity, consciousness, your higher self.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Beautiful, and that's
how I would explain it.
Unique experience withhypnotherapy.
Or, if you want to, you caneven share how this wonderful
modality has helped people thatyou served.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Yeah, so I feel like
from my own life experience with
hypnotherapy, how I got intothis as a practitioner is based
on my own self-development workand using this as a modality of
healing and a form of therapy, and it was very transformative
in my life, meeting it in timesof need when I was experiencing
(21:21):
some trauma yeah, just had aaccident within the family and
was just in that fight or flightsort of mode and it was just
very healing for me because whatI experienced in hypnotherapy
is when I go under and into adeep trance, I feel at such
peace within myself and socomfortable, so much so that I
(21:44):
feel so safe, loved and completeand like warm and at home, and
it's just like the best feelingand like you almost never want
to leave and it's just a placeof self-discovery and learning
more about yourself and being atease and at peace and
acceptance and having moreinsights in my own personal life
(22:05):
and just, yeah, having moreawareness basically of my own
patterns and everything andcoming aware, because the place
of change only occurs when youhave more awareness of the
things that you want to change.
How can you know thatsomething's good or not good for
you if you're unaware, and so alot of us are living in
(22:25):
autopilot and say you want tobecome or do something new that
you've never done before.
That means you literally haveto become a new person, because
the type of thoughts that createthe emotions, that creates the
actions and the outcomes in yourlife is going to be the same as
it was yesterday and that'syour old programming.
(22:46):
And so if you want to become ordo something new and you have
these goals or dreams, that isliterally a different person
than the outcomes that you'regetting or receiving in your
life currently you have tochange your programming.
And it's the stories that youtell yourself and it's how you
communicate to other people,it's how you, it's everything.
(23:07):
It's how you brush your teeth, eat your food, your lifestyle,
how you talk to yourself, who,who you spend time around, and
hypnotherapy has changedeverything.
This has changed everything inmy life.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
I love that.
Thank you, shay.
Everything that you sharedreally resonates with me as well
.
And just to add on that, onyour experience yeah, I actually
I was searching for it becauseI had a lot of triggers and
consciously I didn't understandwhy certain things were
happening.
I just couldn't figure out.
(23:39):
You know, I felt reallyfrustrated and also helpless in
a way, because I wanted to solvethe problem but it wasn't
solved.
It couldn't be solved on arational level.
So I tried different modalitiesand one of those was
hypnotherapy and it reallyhelped to clear, not only to
(24:03):
move emotions, get me unstuck, but also to bring in clarity.
And maybe that's not foreveryone, because I can imagine
that just the idea of past livesor yeah, it's it's not
everyone's cup of tea.
You know, like how we usestories with children to make
them feel good and to for themto get in touch with certain
(24:36):
emotions, to dream about things,so that can also be viewed.
Past lives can also be viewedin that way.
But I wanted to share that I hadso many interesting past life
experiences through hypnotherapy.
Those were very healing andprofound and I honestly love the
stories, and sometimes Imentioned certain stories to
(24:57):
some of my friends and a lot ofpeople said that it would be
great just to write them downand have a booklet of short
stories on that.
So maybe at some point that willhappen.
But regarding to, I mean, regardless of my experience, you
might have all these fantastic, amazing experiences and you
(25:18):
will be surprised by the facthow much is in there, how this
creativity and spaciousness andalso the thing that you
mentioned, this feeling of beingthat everything is okay.
So when you're in touch withthat inner wisdom, you feel
connected with everything andthere is this innate knowing
(25:41):
that all is well and it feels sogood because we are so trapped
in our thinking mind, in our ego, always chasing and being in
fear.
But when we connect to thatpart, it's like we are connected
to our heart and our heart isconnected to love.
So it's entirely differentexperience and, yeah, you have
(26:03):
to experience it to know it.
It's like I can't describe yourchocolate.
You have to try it.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Okay, so Stella, the
power of subconscious mind, and
why does this relate to everyone, and how can our listeners
implement this knowledge intotheir everyday life?
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Yeah, okay, I think I
already spoke about this a
little bit in the beginning.
So we all have subconsciousmind, right, and our
subconscious mind is like aniceberg.
So majority they say 90% is inthe sea.
So we don't see it.
And the thing is, the more wehave awareness of it, the more
(26:42):
we can change.
As you said, we cannot changewhat we cannot see.
So with hypnotherapy we areexplorers, we are exploring our
subconscious mind.
Beliefs that might be there, that are useful at some point,
but they are not anymore andit's really time to let them go.
So so the way hypnotherapyworks is I almost see it as we
(27:08):
get unstuck, or if there is anemotional charge, we unfroze it
so that we can move ahead, wecan be in flow with life again.
And how people can implementthat?
Well, when there is no moreresistance, it's easier to make
or to form habits that aresupportive to us, and it's
(27:31):
really up to a person to choosehow they want to live, going
forward.
But it's definitely so mucheasier to make more aligned
choices for them after a session, for example, because there is
no more resistance in us.
That's something that'spreventing us.
You know all these differentparts of us that are fighting
(27:52):
with each other, or yeah, allthe, all those things.
So I would say it's veryrelevant and if anyone is
interested in self-awareness andchanging things that are not
working and building the lifethat they want, hypnotherapy is
a fantastic modality to do that.
I can't emphasize that enough.
(28:13):
But yeah, what's your take onHA?
Speaker 1 (28:17):
Yeah, I think, when
we're talking about the
subconscious mind as a whole andnot just hypnotherapy, that
again you had mentioned that itcontrols 90% of our brains in
our everyday life, and sohypnotherapy, yes, is a great
modality to go and change theprogramming if you want to have
more clarity and insights andawareness of how you're
(28:40):
operating and to change what isnot working.
And hypnotherapy is a great way.
But also changing habits bycreating new habits and
implementing that for 21 days.
You'll hear lots of likecoaches and other practitioners
and people in the field ofpsychology, even Dr Joe Dispenza
, for example.
(29:00):
He talks about that too, ofrewiring your brain.
For success.
It's 21 days to change a habit.
There's many ways to becomemore cautious of the
subconscious mind meditating andbecoming more aware of the part
of ourselves that is pureawareness, and coming from that
place of mindfulness is thestate of being within a
(29:22):
subconscious mind, being moreaware, right, of these
subtleties, and these are justcertain ways how we can
implement this into our everydaylife.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
Yeah, and obviously
we are talking about
hypnotherapy, but there are alsoother things that a person can
do.
But it's really important thatwe make unconscious conscious so
that we actually can create ourlives.
Otherwise, we will always feelas victims, you know, as oh, I
can't do anything about it, andthat's so not true.
(29:53):
That's so not true.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
Yeah, no one really
wants to be a product of their
programming, especially if theycome from a place of childhood
trauma and just outdated systemsand belief systems that don't
serve them anymore.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
Exactly All right,
and I think now it's a great
time to touch on maybe some realscientific data to back up
everything that we were saying.
So, shay, I know you are superprepared, so bring it on.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Yeah, so according to
American Health Magazine and
this was done in August of 2006,so it was a while ago, but it's
still very valid of 2006, so itwas a while ago, but it's still
very valid is that about 93%recovery after six sessions
occurred with people takinghypnotherapy for certain
ailments and all the things thatone would go into hypnotherapy
(30:44):
for behavioral changes, etc.
And as opposed to a 38%recovery rate for 600 sessions
in the psychoanalysis, forexample, or behavioral therapy,
72% recovery after 22 sessions.
So again, 93% recovery withhypnotherapy after six sessions.
(31:06):
And just how profound that isand that's like real, backed up
scientific data.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
That's fantastic.
I'm in awe.

That is actually their choice.
