One gal's weekly reflection on the 2024 Presidential Election.
The election was 6 days ago if you can believe it. 70 million votes for Kamala weren't enough to bring home the hardware, but were still impressive considering the Biden-sized hole she needed to dig the campaign out of.
Tune in for lessons learned and the mindset I'm depending on to cope.
This will be the last I Don't Feel Hopeless Yet episode for a while. Time to process, rest, and come back with...

If you have a TV or an addiction to podcasts, you were most likely inundated with interviews with Kamala, Tim, and JD in the last week. On today's episode, we cover takeaways from those appearances on All The Smoke, Call Her Daddy, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Interview-- from moments of levity and earnestness to direct quotes I wish I could unhear!

Sometimes, we need to succumb to the robots for the sake of time. Please understand that is why I asked my recording software's AI to write this description
"Host Bridget Sicard reviews the latest updates in the 2024 presidential election, noting Kamala Harris's improved poll standings against Trump. She also shares thoughts on the 50th season premiere of SNL, highlighting standout performances and impressi...
Host Bridget Sicard breaks down Prime Minister Oprah Winfrey's town hall in support of VP Kamala Harris, even though all she can think about is this play she saw over the weekend called Stereophonic.
But like Kamala tells Oprah, "We all have moments in life where we need to step up." Even after we see a play and that's all we want to talk about.
From abortion to gun control to immigration to th...
After the debate, Taylor said, "Only the young . . . only the young . . . only the young . . . can run ✨"
Somehow the year's biggest political event became about Taylor Swift, and you have to respect the sheer PR wizardry.
In this IDFHY / IDFFY Crossover Episode™️, we roast and recap last Tuesday's debate + dissect the significance of Taylor's endorsement for the Harris/Walz campaign. I s...

On this, the day of my stepbrother's wedding, I present to you the following:

It's IDFFY's first ever minisode that will leave you contemplating not only if showing up on theme is ever really worth it, but also if you would approach Aaron Paul on the subway platform if given one shot / one opportunity.
Your homework for next week is to listen to Kate Hudson's album Glorious, listen to Tori Spelling's podcast MisSpelling, and watch J. Lo's content on Amazon (cuz I am not done...
My friend Simon Liu and I discuss his experiences with pop culture and media before, during, and after he spent 21 years incarcerated in the California prison system.
I’m very grateful to Simon for being so open in this episode about his life experiences and sharing his thoughts on the impact of media and pop culture on people before, during, and after doing time.
Simon’s one of my favorite people, and I think he ...
J. Lo and Ben might be breaking up which, for some reason, distresses me. Even as the nation's foremost Pro-Divorce Thought Leader, I am not immune to the satisfaction of a long, well-run, high-profile relationship.
So what better time to look back on February 2024 to reexamine her 3 Big Releases -- the album, "This Is Me . . . Now," the Amazon Prime movie to accompany it, and the Amazon Prime documentary t...
No offense but this was the most fun I've had recording an episode of IDFFY.
Grace Alexander broke multiple Guinness Books of World Records by becoming our first return guest, our first in-person guest, and guest with whom I shared the most laughs.
It will shock you all to learn that I make no money hosting this podcast, and that all ROI is currently measured in laughs :) laughitalism > capitalism! haha, ...
The gang won't let their alarmingly low brain cell count and ridiculously high step count stop them from sharing their "thoughts" after day 3 of Coachella.
You will hear very little about their experience that day. But you WILL learn which sport they would ref if they had to ref a sport. And knowing the IDFFY audience, that will do JUST fine.
PSA: For its next act, IDFFY will take a wee two-week br...
The girls are braindead and struggling to recall what they did the day before in today's installment of The Coachella Diaries.
Tune in for an account of Day 2 almost as raw as Meg and Bridget's larynxes. You'd be shocked to learn they saw ANYONE other than Grimes based on the amount and level of detail about which they talk about her set.
Who are they going to see on Day 3? Nobody knows because they...
