Angie gets roasted for her Type 1 outbursts, includer tendencies, and habit of calling out dudes on their dating app matches. She admits she has no filter, and Amber and Celine can’t WAIT to get to embarrass her in return (or grab her a muzzle). The girls have an update on Casey’s dating life and revisit the topic of co-ed friends (a saga). Celine has a new bench member from those slippery DMs, and the ladies debate whether or not ...
The girls share their newfound love for Black Label Trulys (#unofficialsponsor) and their role in the past weekend’s activities, which included Amber falling off of a log at a waterfall and Angie trying to get down a river without a paddle. Amber introduces (via shout-out) Farm Boy, who seemed to be into her even though he was a decade younger... AND Amber took a shit in the woods on their first encounter. The girls discuss the pro...
The ladies sip on their fav $7 champagne (#unofficialsponsor) for not only Celine’s birthday (even though we all KNOW that diva isn’t drinking it), but Casey is back in town AND Angie met her future husband. They break down the details of running into Ouchebag, having a Bumble fiasco, and Amber falling on grenades first - but Angie finally met him! Get your drinks ready to celebrate with her (and take some shots) as they introduce ...
The ladies are joined by Leigh “Taylor” Richardson to hear about how celery juice and following the suggested practices of @MedicalMedium have changed her life. The girls are on board and have all been juicing celery on the reg since recording this episode (you will be too). Amber fills the group in on her recent struggles of dealing with her vanity, being challenged with sunburns and tan lines from granny panty swimsuit bottoms wh...
Love and dating coach Natasha Virdy created her own methodology to help single women stop attracting the wrong guys and how to be ready to receive the right man in their lives; so although they are distracted by Star Wars characters, sweet tea vodka (sponsor us plz), and Angie’s new perfect margarita, they dive into topics like how to manifest your true love (hopefully without kissing too many frogs along the way), soul mates, and ...
The girls chat with former Miss Minesota Lucia Arseni, a smoke show Eastern European, who explains how she is living and loving life being unapologetically herself. They discuss the importance of being extra or glam for yourself and not others... and being comfortable every day in your own skin. They determine that you should only buy labels if you truly appreciate couture, you should be the same kind of confident in a onesie or re...
A continuation from last week’s convo, the girls chat further with Trauma Therapist Alix Sugarman. Do you Netflix and chill foreverrrrrr when you get married? What voice in our head are we dismissing on a daily basis when it comes to dating? Amber gets credit for being a respectful dater, and we discuss (for better or worse) how our choices in relationships correlate with the comfort found in the experiences of our past. We talk ab...
Angie can’t help herself from immediately sharing the life lessons she found on @motivated.mindset while scrolling through the gram in bed on a Saturday morning…

In the most random episode ever (sorry not sorry), the girls talk about using their movie marathons as excuses to get out of “marathon dates” and phone calls. Angie tells about jumping on the Vanderpump Rules train and reminisces about her restaurant drama days… and the (oldie but goodie?) show gives her hope for the crazy kind of love. Amber believes in herself and knows that she is setting a higher standard for her dates and guys...
The girls continue their conversation from last week, discussing how the quarantine has turned into the new “holiday,” bringing back all the zombies (the guys who were once just ghosting but are now resurrecting from the dead)… but they also reveal their own zombie habits. In more pressing matters, Angie’s been single for like seven years and needs a date... so we recap the dates of 2020 and discuss the annoying popularity (or skil...
Amber goes on a date with Pilot following social distancing protocols (but with mimosas too), while the girls try to help her with starting her Bumble convos with the other contenders. Celine shares that she LITERALLY got taken out of the microwave, and she tells the tales of the boys who have ghosted and are now resurrecting from the dead in quarantine - turning into full-blown zombies.

I HAVE A STORY FOR YOU:
The girls chat with their friends Eric and Ryan to get the guys’ perspectives about dating in the ‘big city but small town’ of Nashville… Is chivalry dead in a world with endless options of Insta-famous hotties and non-committal musicians? How can we make convo at Target… or at the gym, when everyone has earbuds in?! Eric and Ryan share the love stories of their parents’ and grandparents’ meeting too (awwwwww right!?!?). You don’t ...
The girls and their guy friend Casey McKibben swap stories about first dates in helicopters, best first impressions and catfishes, why you should always FaceTime before meeting someone (because you have no idea the eyebrow situation you are walking into), how they feel about traveling with ‘just friends’ of the opposite sex, and why tootsie pops are not good flower substitutes.

Angie calls the girls (excuse the phone audio plz) to discuss the seriousness of what the world is going through with the COVID-19 pandemic. They share tips on how to stay healthy, give back, and stay sane… even though “This World Is So F*cked Up.”

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
