"I’ll Fly Away," written by Albert E. Brumley, is arguably one of the most well-known songs of all time. For nearly 100 years, it has been recorded in nearly every genre of music and featured in movies, television, and radio.
While "I’ll Fly Away" may be his most famous work, Brumley also wrote many other gospel and country music classics, including "Turn Your Radio On," "I’ll Meet You in the Morning," and "Rank Stranger."
Although Mr. Brumley passed away 48 years ago, his songs and stories continue to resonate. Join Dave and Dusty for an insightful conversation with his granddaughter Betsy (daughter of Bob Brumley) and her husband, Kevin. It’s an episode you won’t want to miss!
