Aaron’s one of those guys that will never run out of stories to tell after not catching up for a while. He’s like my grandpa Frank in the way he can strike up a conversation with anyone whether he’s at his job in Morro Bay, waiting in line at a restaurant in Santa Barbara, or hanging out at the local bar on an island in Greece. It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand what he’s talking about, chances are he’ll make you laugh or at the very least, smile.
Our friendship has been going on for almost 2 decades now and it isn’t one you have to continually work to keep it going. It’s natural, I can go months without hearing from him and it’s right back to the way it’s always been but, to be honest, we never go a couple of weeks without picking up the phone for one of our hour-long chats.
This is the first you’ll hear of Aaron Avalos in the podcast but it will for sure not be the last, stick around to hear the Aaron Avalos story as he walks me through his last 22 years.
