Speaker 1 (00:00):
I think it might be
working.
Hello everybody and welcome toeStim Systems Christmas, because
it's that spot betweenChristmas and New Year when
nobody knows what day it is, isit?
Speaker 2 (00:11):
bin day.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Is it bin day?
No, they have two weeks off, unlike the rest of us, and, yeah
, nobody really knows what'sgoing on.
So, hello to everyone.
It was Joanne's live streamyesterday.
It's now our turn to gocompletely mad.
I've just noticed theChristmasmas trees wobbling.
Every time I wobble the desk, Ithink the christmas tree is
drunk.
We've had a fantastic christmas.
We've actually had a little bitof time off and we've actually
(00:34):
been out of the office most ofthe time.
We have popped in a couple oftimes just to catch up and had
some very interesting emailsthat we had a look at, which,
yes, we won't mention the emails.
Yes, this is my black book.
This is the book which I carryaround with me virtually
everywhere I go and this iswhere all the easter ideas get
written down and scribbled notes, ideas, thoughts, everything
(00:59):
into my little black book andthen matter where I hide it.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Even when we go out,
he still finds it yeah, she
hides it from me.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
And then I have to
get angsty and where's my book?
I've lost my book and I can'tfind it again.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yep, so if you are
placing orders during the
christmas period, you may get anemail to say your order is
processing.
That doesn't mean it's leavingthe building that day, because
we don't actually havecollections booked until after
the 3rd of January, becausewe've given our dispatch
department and ninja packers aholiday Yay more holiday,
(01:31):
despite the fact someonecontacted us today and asked us
why we were shipping by Elviri, every, every Elviri.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I don't know what
they are.
They used to be calledsomething else, didn't they?
Hermes, hermes.
The answer is that's not us.
We're not shipping by thenbecause, one, your order hasn't
left the building and, two, wedon't use them I'm also speaking
of shipping.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yes, we are aware
that canada is waking back up.
However, at the moment we canstill only ship by ups.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
But to canada I'm a
friend anyway, that was one of
my christmas.
But what are we going to talkabout?
Speaker 2 (02:05):
What are we going to
talk about.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
What's happening in
the world of Easton.
What's happening in the worldof Easton?
One thing we've been doing islots of YouTube videos, because
that's what people seem to beliking, and you'll find that
we're now doing shorts virtuallyevery day.
Some of them have been quitecontroversial and some of them
have been completely boring, butwe keep doing them.
If controversial, and some ofthem have been completely boring
, but we keep doing them.
Um, if I get a chance to, Imight even do some work on some
(02:28):
code, because I am currentlyworking on the new firmware.
You wouldn't believe it, but Iactually am.
It's the same one you've beenworking on for the last however
long yeah, you've got some someinteresting ideas that are
coming up, unlike some companieswhich they release brand new
products and immediately youhave to put new firmware out
because they miss somethingreally basic like the knob goes
in the wrong direction.
Not quite sure how they managethat.
(02:48):
But yeah, I can't reallycriticize because we've done
things in the past, lefty, righty, tighty lefty loosey.
Okay, yes, I think the term islefty loosey, righty tighty
lefty oowee, righty oowee yeah,we also had some great fun with
liz doing the part two of theliz video, which has been quite
(03:11):
an entertaining.
Liz is chomping at the bit, soto speak, to come back to talk
to us.
Who knows what might happen inthe future.
It's planned sometime anywaywhat's the first question?
the first question is a questionon sticky pads.
They do the chores on metalchastity, but with drawbacks.
I think I understand what thatmeans.
(03:32):
Uh, they're sticky pads.
Fundamentally, they're designedto stick to the skin.
So you're always going to havethis issue with if you're
sticking it to something that'smetal, the contacts aren't going
to be as good if you're using, say, for instance, like crop
clips.
So you've got a metal to metalcontact.
So, yeah, they can be used withcertain chassis devices.
(03:53):
I mean, the honest answer is itdepends on the chassis device.
There are now so many differentversions of them, so many
variations, that nobody canreally keep up.
How long do the electro padslast for?
Uh, I think the answer to thatis depends on how long you use
them.
Uh, yeah, I'm gonna completelyignore that at the moment from
(04:15):
toothless east him there.
Um, yeah, pads, it depends onhow long you use them.
Generally we say use them onclean skin, peel them off, stick
them back on the plasticcarrier sheet.
They're going to last you agood few sessions, and for us,
five or six sessions is prettygood.
I think we probably have themlasting a bit longer sometimes.
(04:36):
Again, it depends.
So it's difficult to say howlong do they last?
Top tip though Don't stick themto the cat.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Yeah, don't stick
them to the cat.
Yeah, don't stick them to thecat.
Cats don't like them.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, cats don't like
them.
If you want to know about thestory of the cat, go and listen
to one of the other live streams, because we talk about it then,
okay.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Oh no, she's got
another.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
one Is the output of
the electrohelix true biphasic?
Oh, it's a techie one forChristmas.
Is the output of the electrohelix truly biphasic?
None of our boxes aresymmetrically biphasic.
They're asymmetrically biphasic, which basically means that the
waveform is lopsided, so it'smore positive than negative.
So in terms of current in andcurrent out, the net result is
(05:22):
zero because of the way wegenerate the pulses and the way
the output works on the boxes.
So the boxes are all biphasic.
But a lot of people thinkbiphasic means that they're
symmetrical, so the pulse at thetop and the pulse at the bottom
are the same.
And the answer is no, they'renot.
Yes, they are truly biphasic, but they're asymmetrically
(05:43):
biphasic.
So some people say, oh, you'rejust fiddling around with
semantics.
And the answer is no, we'refiddling around with waveforms,
but no, the outputs of the boxesare all AC and they're all
biphasic, but they'reasymmetrical.
I want a question from Robin.
Hello Robin, let's just get thisin.
I've noticed the on-off switchon the e-stim remote is more
substantial than that on the 2B.
(06:05):
That's interesting becausethey're exactly the same.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
It's exactly the same
they are actually the same
switch.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
So I'm not sure,
assuming you're talking about
the current e-stim remote, theyare exactly the same switch.
Yeah, really, they are the sameswitch.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
That could be the
different component part number
because they have changed partnumbers, but it's exactly the
same switch.
That could be the differentcomponent part number because
they have changed part numbers, but it's exactly the same design
prior to that.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Yes, it was a
slightly older switch.
Anyway, she's got anotherquestion for me.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
We missed this one
off.
The last question from Dave.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Dave's question that
we missed from last time can I
clean an electrode if it becomesdiscoloured?
Okay, generally, yes.
Now we make our electrodes fromaircraft-grade aluminium.
Now, one of the things withaluminium is it has an oxide
layer on the outside.
You generally don't see purealuminium in use because it's
(07:02):
really soft.
It's just useless.
So generally you're usingaluminium alloy, which is what
we're using, and over time itends up being a slightly darker
colour.
If you are cleaning them interms of boiling them or
sometimes using some othersubstances, try and avoid
caustic cleaning substances, because that does really cause
(07:22):
issues with aluminium.
But generally, over time, aluminium will become darker and
some people go, oh, can I cleanthis?
Well, the answer is it isn'tactually dirt, it's just the
oxides getting darker.
Easy thing to do if you're inthat situation and you want to
try and brighten it up is abrillo pad and just give it a
gentle rub.
Don't use anything that'sreally caustic or scary, because
(07:45):
you'll scratch the surface.
But a Brillo pad will actuallyburn the shit up a little bit.
So, yeah, okay, we have anotherquestion.
I'm not an electrician, sowhere can I look for info on
connectivity In terms of how toconnect electrodes?
Then the answer is going to beour youtube site, our forum.
(08:08):
Joanne's got a few videos onhow to use electrodes and where
to put them and what sort ofconfigurations they work with.
There's lots of things outthere and we're working on more,
so keep watching this space.
We're doing our best to come upwith ideas to show you how to
use e-stim.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
We'll come on our
live chat.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Or come on our live
chat and ask us.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Not just on the live
stream live chat.
We do actually have a chatfacility on our website, so one
of our operatives will be ableto answer your questions online
for you.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
So that's your answer
, dave.
Just give them a burnish with abit of Brillo pad.
Do not use anything like wirewool.
One of the reasons is wire woolwill embed steel into the
surface of the aluminium, whichwill start to corrode and go
rusty.
So steel wool, no, a basicBrillo pad you know the sort of
thing green, scarry thing and agentle rub, and that should help
(09:02):
.
Ah, a brillo pad is why?
Well, do you mean the scotch?
I mean one of those green pads.
Yeah, washing up sponge, sometimes have it on the back
because the one of the problems.
I can see what you mean now.
Yeah, it's that generic term.
I think the americans also havesomething called scrub daddy,
(09:23):
which we've discovered oh yeah, scrub daddy um, but yeah, it's
the green colored scouring pad,not the metal based ones.
That's the one I mean when I saybrillo pad.
So yeah, please don't use themetal ones from the older
generation.
Yeah, brillo pads and vim.
I remember having to scrubthings my electrode is too big.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Can I send it back,
please?
Speaker 1 (09:50):
you'll be surprised
at how many times we get asked
this?
Question normally it's whenthey've ordered the decimator in
the sale eyes bigger than thebelly syndrome the answer is if
you haven't actually used it andyou still have the the plastic
security seal intact around it,then yes, you can send it back.
If you have used it, thenunfortunately the answer is no.
(10:11):
We do not do secondhand sextoys or if you've unwrapped it.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
If it's, if it's not
sealed, it shows.
If it's sealed, drop us anemail and we can look into it
for you.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Yeah, obviously, if
there's an issue with it in
terms of its defective, thenyeah, we will accept returns and
we can sort things like that.
But if it's just simply thefact that, as she puts it, your
eyes are a little bit biggerthan the orifice, I will add.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Another question in
relation to this we get asked on
a regular basis is what is theinsertable load, what are the
dimensions, what are the sizes?
All the sizes, insertablelengths and dimensions of our
electrodes are actually on thewebsite.
You just need to scroll down tothe bottom of the product and
you'll find all the informationthere for you.
Okay, next one.
This is another popular one.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Why is shipping?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
your products so
expensive.
This especially relates topeople from overseas.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Well, actually it's
strange enough it relates to
people from not overseas as well, because I've seen people in
the uk complaining the answer isstrange enough basically,
shipping is expensive.
We do not make any profit onshipping.
In fact, with larger orders welose out on shipping because we
have to split the orders up interms of, let's say, one kilo.
We then have things likevolumetric weight.
(11:26):
We ship using services unlikeelviri or ev or whatever it's
called, which generally get thepackage to you.
So it's going to be upsdhl dpd, depending on where it's going,
and that's expensive.
It's not cheap.
They generally don't chuck themover the wall, although some of
them do do.
We've seen it, unfortunately.
(11:47):
So there's not a lot I can do.
If we absorb the shipping cost, making the shipping appear to
be cheaper, then effectively itgoes into the price of the
product.
So you're still paying for it.
It's just like and UK orders.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
You do actually have
the option of free shipping.
It only costs you money.
If you want to use the expressshipping for UK orders, you can
actually order and selectcollection as an option.
But can you please?
If you're doing so, please bearin mind that we're not actually
a shop, we are actually aworkshop and we can't just have
customers just turn up on ourdoorstep to say I'm coming to
(12:22):
collect an item.
We do actually ask you tocontact us when you get a
notification.
Your order is ready forcollection to arrange a time.
Just to make sure somebody isthere.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
There's a question
wash your stuff in the
dishwasher?
Oh, the answer is theoretically, and sometimes you can.
The problem is one is the saltthat most of us use in a
dishwasher can cause issues withaluminium.
(12:53):
It can cause staining and thereis a notorious gentleman who
sent an electrode back which wasgreen after he'd washed it in
his dishwasher.
I think he might have left itin there for about two weeks
because it was like really, really green.
It was not a nice color, um.
So in theory you can put itinto a dishwasher, but you need
(13:16):
to be careful what you'reactually cleaning it with,
because some of the finishes, the tablets and things they're
going to be potentially causticand you could end up with, um, a
disc, slightly discoloredelectrode.
It's still going to work, butrinse only.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
My advice Rinse only.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Just watch out for
the rinse aid.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
And don't get your
children to go to the dishwasher
afterwards.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Oh yeah, mum, what's
this?
Don't get the kids to do it,who knows?
Anyway, do we have any morequestions?
We have a few more questions.
Give me a question then.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Well, I've got a box,
I don't know.
I'll give you a minute.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
No, I want more
questions.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
You want more
questions?
Okay, right.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Yeah, more questions.
We'll get the questions first.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
We'll get the
questions first and then.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
You never know.
You never know.
There's a question here Can youshow?
Because the waveforms willdepend on the mode, it'll depend
on the settings, it'll dependon the individual.
We have had people try todemonstrate that the waveforms
that we do show you know thegraphic thing about eight pixels
(14:18):
high is not the waveform thatthe box produces.
No, because that is a littlegraphic representation.
So the simple answer is no.
We don't show waveforms becausenobody else does and they would
actually be quite meaninglessin terms of how it actually
feels.
And for us that's the key here.
E-stim is about sensation.
It's not about how much thewaveform goes up and down,
(14:43):
because you, if you just lookedin a oscilloscope seeing a
waveform, you're not actuallygoing to know what it feels like
.
Yeah, and you actually going toknow what it feels like.
You'll only know what it feelslike when you actually plug
yourself in.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Okay, can I use
tri-phase with my e-bead?
Speaker 1 (14:57):
No, the question is
can I use tri-phase with an
e-bead electrode?
The simple answer is no,because the e-bead has a cable
attached to it which is going totake up one channel, and then
you've got no way of connectingthe second channel with the tri
could you use it with a dualadapter?
(15:18):
I don't know.
It's one of those you possiblycould sort of if you fiddle
around with all the.
I think my simple answer isgoing to be no, not easily.
Um then somebody's going tospend hours turning around to me
and saying, well, actually youcan, but not easily all right.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
How powerful is the
eastern remote?
It depends ouch, ouch.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
Um, how powerful is
the eastern remote?
Generally we consider it to bemore powerful than helix and not
as powerful as 2b, especiallyif you run the 2b off a power
supply.
But a lot of power sensation isgoing to be down to individual
feel.
It's going to be how you use it.
If you just running it without, you're running it at high level
(16:02):
and you then hit the firebutton, that's going to feel
more powerful than if you had iton continuous and you're
building up slowly.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
So the answer is what
I'm putting this one's back, so
don't get mixed up.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
All right, she's now
putting things back in the
fishbowl.
So the answer is remote is morepowerful than helix, but not as
powerful as a 2b do you offer aprice guarantee or do you match
prices?
Speaker 2 (16:25):
warm soapy water
that's a good answer to that one
.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
No, warm soapy water
is the best way to clean
electrodes.
Just remember to dry them whenyou put them back together.
Do you offer a price match ordo you offer a price guarantee?
Do we offer a price match or dowe offer a price guarantee?
No, is the really simple answer.
Why don't we offer a pricematch?
Because it wouldn't be fair tosomebody who's offering our
products at a discounted rate, because they are absorbing that
(16:50):
discount and we're not here toscrew over our suppliers, our
stockists.
If they wish to offer adiscount, that's up to them.
So simple answer is no, we donot price match.
We do not offer.
What was the other bit?
Was it just price?
Speaker 2 (17:05):
matching Price
guarantee.
Simple answer, All right.
Last question I have got acomputer which only has USB-C.
Are you planning to introduceUSB-C connections to your
digital link interface cables?
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Not at the moment.
Why not?
Because at the moment thatwould mean we would have to
stock two types of cable, and alot of people still have USB 1,
2 and all the other versions ofit.
And it's quite easy just get anadapter, plug it in and it it
works.
Um.
So the simple answer is, at themoment, no.
As new products come online, then, yes, we will be adhering
(17:41):
to the new charging standardsfor usbc as things progress, but
we don't have to at the momentbecause we don't produce mobile
phones okay, right oh what'sthis stamp your pants hold on
hold, on hold on.
We don't have a flashy stampyour pants rant logo, yet no, we
don't.
I wish to complain.
I wish to complain and this isrelated, I think, this one the
(18:07):
fact that they yeah, okay, allright, why are your prices so
high normally?
Why can't you offer 40 off allthe time?
You are ripping people off?
Do I have to answer that?
Yes, I have to answer that.
I think this is related toblack friday.
Why do are we able to offer abig discount at certain times of
(18:27):
the year?
Why don't we just offer that allthe way through the year?
And the simple answer isbecause we happen to be a
business and what we're actuallydoing is using some of the
overhead spare bit of a productthat we potentially would offer
to a store and we're nowoffering it direct to you.
(18:48):
So that discount that a storewould get, we're now effectively
giving it to you, which is whywe don't do it too often,
because we don't want to annoyour stores and people forget
that if we're making a product,we then have to sell that
product to a distributor, whothen has to sell that product to
a store, and the store is theone that you get to walk into
their little bricks and mortarand buy the product.
(19:09):
But they need to make a profit, and so does the distributor
want to make a profit, and so dowe want to make a profit, so
that section of money getschopped up and has to be shared
around question from dave oh, wehave a question from dave.
So the answer is we're notripping people off.
They're quite clear.
We're quite transparent.
(19:30):
We're not a mass market product.
We don't mass produce in china,so we don't.
We're not producing these forfive pence and selling them for
several hundred pounds.
Oh, I wish just doesn't happen.
You would be quite surprisedwhat the margins actually are,
especially when you start tolook at what a store wants to
make and what the distributorwants to make.
Um, we, at the end of the day,are probably the ones who make
(19:52):
the least out of it, becausethat's the way the world works.
But anyway, we have a questionfrom dave can you become
desensitized if you use aninsert too much?
Um, yeah, the honest answer isyou can be desensitized if you
use anything too much, whetherit's an insert, whether it's in
(20:13):
fact and virtually anything.
We use Impact toys Yep.
You can become desensitized.
Insertables Yep.
Sticky pads Yep.
E -Stim itself Yep.
Which is why, when we tend toplay, we tend to play and then
have a break, and then we'llplay again, and that break can
be hours.
Which is why, when we tend toplay, we tend to play and then
have a break, and then we'llplay again, and that break can
(20:34):
be hours, it can be days, it canbe a couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah, you can become
desensitized.
It's the way the body works.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
It's not a very sexy
toy really, though.
Oh, robby's now trying toconfuse us.
When I mentioned the dishwasher, I was joking.
I actually use washing upliquid, fire, clean water, rinse
and towel dry.
Yep, but people do usedishwashers, and you'll be
surprised you'd be surprisedwhat we also had some of
microwave one.
That was not a good thing, andwe had a gentleman a few years
(21:02):
ago who managed to boil hiselectrodes not once but twice,
to the extent that they boileddry in the saucepan and melted
the insulator and he asked usfor spare insulators.
After the second time you'relike you really need to start
looking at how you're doing this, because if you're leaving it
to boil dry, not a good look youhave a stampy pattern, now
(21:29):
Dave's having a break for a fewweeks, right this is the last
question and it's a stamp Iremember this one came in.
Okay, there's a little bit of abackstory this is a christmas
present.
I had a lovely christmas presentfrom um, a gentleman, and I'm
not going to name names, and Ihope that he'll see this video
(21:50):
because it'll be so funny.
Basically, he purchased his tobe from a friend and the to be
failed which is sadly somethingthat that has.
That can happen and wanted toknow if we were going to repair
it under the lifetime guaranteeand the simple answer is,
unfortunately, no.
It's a second-hand unit.
(22:12):
The lifetime guarantee onlyapplies to the first person to
purchase it, the originalpurchaser.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Or if you purchase
from the store.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Well, technically
that's still an original
purchase.
Yeah, the original purchaser.
And before we sort of got intothe whole conversation of okay,
well, we can still deal withthis for you, it's just going to
be a little bit of a chargeablerepair he went into rant and he
informed me that everythingthat he was writing was going to
go onto youtube and we wereslimy gits or words to that
(22:42):
effect and he was now having tosend everything back to his mate
, demand a refund and we wouldhave to deal with his mate.
And then we got an email aboutthree hours later from a very
similar email address purportingto be his mate, but we, that's
a separate side of things, butit was like really, I mean, come
on right, okay, lifetimeguarantee.
(23:04):
Lifetime guarantee applies tothe original purchaser of any
unit.
If you buy it as a gift forsomeone, then please give them
the receipt, or at least keepthe receipt, so if they have an
issue they can get back to youand go that lovely present
you've given me.
There's an issue.
I need the receipt to get theguarantee.
We don't have an issue withthat.
(23:25):
And in fact, in all honesty, ifyou actually come to us and say
I have an issue, I bought this,I was given this, I don't have
the receipt.
Could you sort it out for me?
Generally, the answer is goingto be we can do something, we
can help, we can sort somethingout.
But the minute you go into, I'mgoing to put all this over
facebook or youtube or wherever, and you're slimy gits and this
(23:47):
is all a con.
Then I'm going to sit all thisover Facebook or YouTube or
wherever, and you're slimy gitsand this is all a con.
Then I'm going to sit there, going really.
I'm really sorry to hear you'vegot problems, but it's not a con
.
It's really really simple.
Every single place you go onour website, every video that
mentions lifetime guarantee, says the same thing Lifetime
guarantee applies to theoriginal purchaser, End of story
(24:08):
.
It's not difficult.
If it's not the originalpurchaser, we can still sort out
a repair, but it's going to bea few pounds or a few dollars to
fix because you are not theoriginal purchaser.
It's not a con.
We're not slimy.
We make it really clear and infact, if anyone does feel that
we don't make it clear enough, please tell us we, we'll make it
(24:30):
clearer.
But if you are going to put itoff over youtube and tell
everyone, you'll tell your mateshow slimy we are we'll get
there first, because guess what, this is youtube and this is
live.
And I'm quite happy to havethose conversations in public
because we feel that our systemsare right.
We don't always get it right, but sometimes you just get
(24:51):
people going really, come on,it's you could have just asked
nicely and we would have said, yeah, no problem, we can get
this sorted.
But the minute you startcalling me a slimy git and, uh,
telling us that we're all callmerchants, it's like no, not
gonna happen.
So anyway.
We're all con merchants.
It's like no, not gonna happen,so anyway change the subject
change the subject.
I need a.
I need a stampy pants.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Rant obviously, with
us being closed for Christmas,
I've been having a bit of a tidyup oh no and um tidying up.
That is never a good sign well, especially when you go into his
office.
You will not believe what Ifound what are you doing in my
office?
I'm worried now we have theblack box what?
Speaker 1 (25:35):
where on earth did
you find those?
Speaker 2 (25:38):
your desk, the floor,
the chair, your electronics
desk on top of your computer inyour filing cabinet.
I had a tight it seems to be myoffice, so I did so.
Maybe we should play a bit ofshow and tell, shall we?
Speaker 1 (25:51):
easton has been
around a while.
Oh okay, I have a question fromthe floor.
Easton has been around for awhile.
How'd you come up for the idea?
Speaker 2 (26:03):
I'm blaming her for
that one if you're actually
going to listen to the I makesex toys podcast, you'll
actually come up here on airabout the story of how easton
first came around and how, 20years ago, a little design that
came up for us to play with cameinto existence.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
And now, 20 years
later, basically, we were
exploring the world and we foundtens units out there which had
been rebadged and people werelike, yeah, yeah, try these.
And they were like these arerebadged which had been rebadged
.
And people were like, yeah, yeah, try these.
And they were like these arerebadged TENS units and I could
build one of these and I couldbuild it better, and that was 20
years ago, and I did.
(26:41):
And I built it better, quickerand all that.
And actually that's how eStimstarted Building one for
ourselves.
Friends saw it.
We built some more Friends thensaw it.
How do more friends they sawthis more you've got?
Speaker 2 (26:58):
she's got my box.
I'm gonna get huffy now.
You have to be careful whatyou're showing here okay well,
I'll show that one first okay, what's that?
Oh, I know what that is showand tell time show and tell time
I'll show you my new time ofyours.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
This is actually the
prototype.
I wonder if super source isworking, or there we are.
This is the prototype for thetriple.
Um, so this was testing theidea of how we get the multiple
levels of insulator, insulatorand the two contact points, and
yeah, that's what it ends upbeing.
So, yeah, that's a triple.
(27:31):
As you can see, the basedoesn't even have a functional
bottom, and I think I just ran aprogram just to see what it
looked like.
So, yeah, that is the prototypefor a triple.
Right next, I can do this.
This is like 20 questions okaywell, give me the box.
I know what that is.
You can have the box and youcan have that back.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Okay, I'll put I'll
put that there.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
I'll put that back on
the shelf.
Can you guess what this is?
Is that a 2b?
No, this is not a 2b.
This is actually a prototypefor an eastern remote that we
never actually completed.
Um had a magic little.
There's the key fob um, andthis is based on that's a
(28:15):
dual-channel one, wasn't it?
That's actually two remote.
Yeah, this is actually adual-channel remote that we were
working on and never completed, and this is actually how we
build our prototypes.
So you end up with some of theelectronics hiding in this side.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
Do you want to
explain why we never completed
it?
We?
Speaker 1 (28:32):
never completed it.
Uh, we never completed itbecause the company making the
key fobs uh, went bust about twohours after.
We phoned them up and said, canwe have lots of key fobs?
And they were like, uh, no, sothat is an easton remote
prototype, um, and this is howwe build our prototypes.
We tend to build them into bigcases and they have extra bits
(28:54):
sticking out, which is theconnections for the test rigs
and things like that.
And in fact, there's anotherone here.
I'll swap.
This is a cute little ditty, onethat's a 2B.
This is upside down becausethis is an Eastim remote, sorry,
an Eastim 2B in the sameconfiguration, um, this is an
(29:15):
older one I think this is aboutan issue 10 um, but yeah, again,
it's in a box that we can takeapart.
There's some extra bits, sockets, floating around, but
that's a 2b.
This is our design of east inring.
Uh, there we are.
So this is a current east inring.
(29:35):
Uh, we do sizes from 35 up to65 and these are massively
popular.
These are what we actuallylooked at as a prototype um,
which is a ring with a four milconnector on the side.
One of the problems we had withthese is these connectors break
(29:59):
.
In fact, I'm not going to breakthis one because it's a
prototype.
Is there a collar in there?
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Give me the collar.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Give me the collar.
That's a collar, because I sawthis.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
This is actually the
first rings that we developed.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
We actually sold a
few as well.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
We called these ball
collars, and this has actually
been in the workshop for years, which is why it looks like it's
been rattled around, anyway.
So these were ball collarswhich were the big versions of
the rings.
That was a ring prototype andthat's the rings we came up with
, and I know she's dying to showyou the other ring.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Well, I'm pretty sure
Roy would like this if this got
reinvented.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Yes, Roy, just for
you.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
And Toothless Nerd.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
And Toothless Nerd.
Thanks, this is a ring that wewere looking at putting spikes
into.
So these are actually threadedholes.
This actually was producedbefore a certain other company
produced prestige rings, so wegot there first, but we never
actually put them out there, butwe looked at putting rings with
(31:01):
spikes.
No spikes allowed.
What other delights do we havein the magic box?
So, yeah, people are going yumyum.
So there is a possibility atsome point we will look at doing
spikes.
Yeah, I've said it.
I'm going to bleep that bit outwhen I do the highlights.
Edit.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Right, I'm just going
to get one last.
I'll get this one out next.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
You've got lots of
interesting things in there.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
This is a bit of
history.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
This is more than a
bit of history.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
Little bit of history
.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
This is the first
e-stim electrode I ever produced
.
Please say it's not used.
I'm not saying that this hasbeen around for quite a while.
In fact, I can still take itapart.
Um, this has got bits that areglued inside, but yeah, this is
(31:54):
sort of the equivalent of theoriginal original.
Original, this was pre-EastimSystems, so this was a design
that I came up with beforeEastim Systems actually existed.
This was a personal design andactually it worked out to be
(32:15):
quite difficult to make it likethis, which is why we don't make
them like that.
But yeah, that was original.
Okay, we have a question fromlenny I've seen electric caps
and other items.
Are they compatible with easton?
If you mean things like umheads, caps for the heads of the
penis, like the?
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Jet Set Willy.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
Jet Set Willy.
And the saddle, yes they are,and saddle from Joanne, although
technically the saddle's not acap.
Jet Set Willy from Joanne yes, they work with Easton.
Other things I don't know.
I mean, if you're talking abouta cap that goes over the head,
no, don't do it.
Bad idea, not something I wouldavoid If you're talking Corona
caps for the plunging peak.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
Yes, again, they are
compatible.
Just you may need an adapter toconnect to our control units.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
That's the last thing
coming out the box.
This was when I get asked.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
This is hiding in the
back of your cupboard.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
I know, know, who
knows what it is okay, this is
actually the probably the lastcustomer electrode I ever made
for a customer, on the groundsthat they then disappeared.
They didn't pay for it andtherefore I never actually
finished it.
But yeah, this is a bit of abeast and the idea was that they
wanted something that was long, rigid, ribbed, ribbed for the
(33:36):
pleasure, and had a staggeredtop.
In fact, the top still works.
You can actually unscrew thetop and change the top.
But yeah, this was made for acustomer as a custom electrode
and took quite a while to makeit actually.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Hang on.
You said we don't make customelectrodes.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
We don't at the
moment.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
We don't since this
one, and this is one of the
reasons why.
This is one of the reasons why.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
A tea flask.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
We put our time and
effort into designing it.
It could be a flask More tea,Vic.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
How long's the thread
on this?
I make sure the threads arealways long enough not to come
off.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
It'd be a good cup of
tea.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
I'll do it, I'll just
pour it in.
There we are.
Yeah, it's not hollow, thoughUnfortunately it weighs a ton.
Yeah, it's three inches indiameter.
I'm going to get pinged byYouTube now, because YouTube
will see this and go ooh, he'sdoing weapons or something.
But yeah, by YouTube now, because YouTube will see this
and go ooh, he's doing weaponsor something.
But yeah, that was a custom jobfor a customer who never
purchased it and it's notcurrently available because it's
(34:39):
now in the museum.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
I do have one.
I've got one last customer thattried have you got the rubbery
one?
Speaker 1 (34:44):
no, oh go, show me
the rubbery one.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
I have the same one,
but I also want plug yeah, so
there we are.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Anyone want to go to
the gym?
Although that sort of mutatedinto a um, an omg, because the
same diameter.
But yeah, and these were alsopre-cnc, so these were handmade
by me and, yes, I don't knowwhat this is.
This put put that away.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
It looks a bit
foreign for itself.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
A flask.
Yeah, dave Roberts RPG.
No, dave, it's not an RPG this.
Let's go onto the closer camera.
Here we are, do I have it?
It's an idea that we had and,as you can see, it's flexible.
It's got a bit of wire stickingup.
Yeah, the problem is if, theminute you start doing flexi
(35:36):
things, you then start having toput wires into things and then
you lose the ability to have anyform of longevity and, as you
can see, after probably 20 yearsactually no, this is probably
more like 15 years the rubberhas perished, and it's not a
massively great idea.
We do know another company thatmakes something very similar
(35:58):
and we actually see similarissues with theirs.
The rubber just doesn't lastand it's quite difficult to do
the seals and things like that.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Alright, okay, this
is quite unusual somebody asked
earlier about how easton cameabout.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
So yeah, history time
this is the original series one
predecessor to the helix so ifwe go on to, the predecessor to
the healing.
This is the predecessor to theseries one, which is the
predecessor to the Series 1,which is the predecessor to the
Helix.
So it's interesting because itactually has a photocopied label
(36:40):
.
So the label is photocopied, which is pretty good considering
that's now 21 years old atleast.
And yeah, it has lots of thefunctionality that the original
electro helix had.
Original series one had doesn'thave a fire button.
Strangely enough, um has astrange hole on the side.
(37:01):
Continuous and pulse mode, power output level, pulse
frequency, pulse rate, andthat's the box that started it.
All this has been played withfor years and years and years
and years and years.
Doesn't have a serial number.
So that's our original.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
Series 1.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Yeah, so that,
combined with that electrode, is
serious amounts of historythere.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Yeah, so surprising
what you find when you go for a
show-and-tell session yeah,thank god, you didn't find
everything well, there were somephases like nope, nope, mind
nope it's that?
Speaker 1 (37:43):
yeah, it's that.
Have you actually found thebits?
I mean, obviously there arecertain things that we haven't
shown you because we we do havenew products in design phases.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
And there were
certain things I couldn't reach,
because I couldn't reach thetop shelf off the cupboard.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
You couldn't reach
the top shelf off the cupboard.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
I couldn't reach the
top shelf off the cupboard.
I was too short.
Speaker 1 (38:02):
Do we have any more
questions out there Any more?
Speaker 2 (38:04):
people want to play
show and tell.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
I'll show you mine,
if you show me yours.
I think, actually I think, ifwe did show and tell with Joanne
and her team, we'd end up beinghere for years looking at all
of the 3D print no, because 3Dprinting takes so much effort to
get it right and you end upwith so many.
There's no 3D prints in there.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
We had some 3D prints
good, we've got the prototype,
but the products we do, they'rethe rings and the wands.
You don't want to see this.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
This was my interest
in show and tell she went
through the show and tell boxbut, yeah, we have lots of bits
and pieces which sort of gethalfway and then go oh no, that
doesn't work really well.
Yeah, when you 3D print stuff, you're just going to end up with
loads of things and that'sbefore you have 3D prints fail,
which is what happens to a lotof stuff that I print, because
(38:50):
I'm not a 3D print expert.
So if you want 3D printedelectrodes and 3D printed cock
systems and anything else theycome up with and think of, then
Joanne is the person to go to 3Dprint king and queen 3D print
king, queen and princess.
And princess East Imselle.
Yes, there's an East Imsellegoing on.
Did we already mention the sale.
Yeah, mention yourself anyway,please.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Whatever you do, have
a great new year when we back
um, we're back on the lastsunday, so we'll be back live on
the last sunday of januaryshe's, she's jumping ahead here
I'm saying, I'm saying thank you, yeah, we are we are back in
the office properly from the 6thof january.
We do have skeleton team infrom the 3rd of january.
So we are going to be back inthe office properly from the 6th
of January.
We do have skeleton team infrom the 3rd of January.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
So we are going to be
back in the office in the next
week in fact, we're actually inthe office tomorrow because
we're waiting for delivery of acamera that hasn't turned up
that's Amazon for you.
Your Amazon parcel is 27 stopsaway urethral electric sound we
do electric sounds, we do soundsoh, there's some of those
sounds oh no, not those ones.
(39:58):
She's gone on to the reallyabsurd designs this is one that
we like, ribbed.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
How can you like?
Speaker 1 (40:09):
that it's confusing
it.
Now, there you go, it's gotridges look, you can see it's
got ridges from down there, where it's in focus, hollow
electric sounds.
Um, the honest answer is it'ssomething I've looked at.
Watch this space because thereare some plans for some
interesting bits and pieces in2025 can't tell you what but we
(40:30):
don't generally say what we'redoing in advance because, unlike
other companies, we actually, when it's on the shelf, we'll
tell you about it so you can buyit.
If we tell you about it andthen have to wait three years
for it to reappear, that's notreally fair on you.
So there are certain thingswe're looking at.
Back you lock, okay, I think,to toothless nerd is now on
(40:57):
something.
Speaker 2 (40:58):
Oh, I've ah vacu-lock
.
Ah, you mean for f machines?
Speaker 1 (41:01):
uh, there we are.
Vacu-lock, compatible urethralsound no, because you want to
put spikes on it as well.
Not happening, happening, it'sjust no, it just doesn't work.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
Everyone likes spikes
, everyone likes spikes, zappy,
zappy, spiky, spiky.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
This is just going in
.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
this is degenerating
into it is, though we've been on
the show today.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
We've been on the
lemonade.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
Trust me, it was just
lemonade.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
Robin's going to buy
it.
I'll do it.
A drinky-poos, a drinky poos, adrinky poos, a drinky poos.
Cheers, happy Christmas andHappy New Year to everyone.
Thank you very much Forsticking with us.
As Cass has been trying to say, take the road ribbed For the
ladies, please.
Oh, let's not go on to Ribbedfor pleasure.
And Yorkies?
Yorkies are not just for women.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
No, they used to,
they used to mind us, they used
to be much for.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
Anyway, Thank you so
much for supporting us.
We could not do this withoutyou out there.
We couldn't do the live streamswithout looking at Joanne's
crew and going.
They do it so much better thanus.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
Even when we're
sitting on trains.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Even when we sit on
trains.
They do it every week.
How does 3D printing fit in?
If you want to know anythingabout 3D printing in terms of
Easton, then Joanne's livestream every Saturday at 5.
Just type in Joanne's reviewsinto YouTube.
They are the 3D printingexperts.
If you want to talk about CNCmachining stuff, then come and
(42:24):
talk to us.
That's what we do.
But 3D printing is Joanne andher crew.
They do a fantastic range inall sorts of interesting colours
.
They're coming up with allsorts of interesting ideas, so
they're the people to talk to.
Anyway, we are now gonna go.
We're gonna go now have a greatchristmas, fantastic new year
and we'll see you in 2025 andwe're back on the last sunday of
(42:46):
january for our next live yep, last sunday in january, so
thanks for watching.
