Speaker (00:00):

(00:22):
extraordinary journey whereprofound narratives come to
life, one captivating episode ata time.
I'm your host, Jennifer Lee, andI founded this podcast because I
know there is healing andsharing.

I have not released an episodesince March, and you probably

(01:05):
are all wondering where the heckis Jen?
Where is I Need Blue?
What is going on?
Since the end of last year, wedecided to sell and move, and
during that process, we helpedout a family member.
And then I also decided tostudy.

(01:26):
Pass the test and become amortgage loan officer.
So now under my belt, I'm asurvivor advocate, a safety
advocate, and a homeowneradvocate, and I couldn't be
happier than to be able to helppeople in so many different
ways, and I cannot wait to seethe other ways God has planned

(01:48):
for me to help as well.
It's pretty amazing when yousurrender, but anyway, after all
the move, things gettingsettled, uh, getting used to and
exploring and enjoying a newcommunity, God has been knocking
on my door and he said, Jen,it's time you get back and
continue to create space forothers who need to feel they

(02:11):
belong, are loved, understood, and empowered to share.
I truly believe that part of thereason behind the move is, and I
actually journaled this, it toldme you need to leave Brevard
County.
I was like, Oh, that'sinteresting.
It didn't say I needed a newneighborhood or something like

(02:33):
that.
It was like, no, you need toleave this particular county.
And it's not that there wasanything wrong with it because I
have tons of friends.
It's very close to my heart.
I'm so thankful for everyopportunity that, um, the county
has brought to me, but I thinkit was God's way of saying,
there's another community thatneeds you.

(02:54):
There's another community nowthat needs your message.
And you have a whole slew of newpeople.
Who have been eager to sharetheir story, but just didn't
know how to go about it or whereto go about it.
I truly do believe in my heartthat that is what inspired part
of my story.
The move to all my loyallisteners.

(03:16):
Thank you so much for yoursupport and welcome back to
those of you listening for thefirst time.
I welcome you as well.
You are special.
You are wanted, you are loved, and you matter.
In the upcoming episodes, youwill hear courageous people who

(03:39):
inspire me because of what theyhave been through and where they
are today.
I am looking for individuals whowant to share their story.
I create a very comfortableenvironment where we talk before
you come and share your story.
So I know, um, what you want toshare, what you don't want to

(04:00):
share, because at the end of theday, this truly is all about
you.
I Need Blue is all about you.
Every one of you listeners, every one of you guests, you are
what make I Need Blue possible.
You, please understand, are notan episode to me.
You are a person, and you are afriend, and you are someone that

(04:23):
I will cherish forever.

Join me on this podcast as I navigate the murky waters of human behavior, current events, and personal anecdotes through in-depth interviews with incredible people—all served with a generous helping of sarcasm and satire. After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
