Somewhere between 1924 and 1955, celestial beings visited Chicago Illinois through the words of a man who was sleep talking. From his nocturnal ramblings, the Urantia Book was compiled.
Though the authorship of this book is still debated today, the text itself is not really widely known– which seems bananas considering these beings tell us all of the answers for how god, evolution, the universe, and so many more questions of human kind– arose and work. It even covers the meaning of life and gives a much more detailed biography of Jesus than even the bible.
Its aim is to unite religion, science and philosophy, but mostly it seems to have united scholars in questioning its veracity and content. Soooo what’s the deal? Let’s see if we can find out on today’s episode of Idiopathic..
