John en Ingmar stellen vast dat ze niet van ophouden weten en dat komt goed uit, want de hoofdgast is niemand minder dan Thomas Möhlmann, met afstand de fitste dichter van Nederland. John blijft, vooralsnog vruchteloos, op zoek naar Rudi ter Haar (1940), die als dichter onsterfelijk werd met het distichon De uitvinding van de romantiek: ‘De zon gaat onder, / Ik voel me bijzonder.’, maar die zich desondanks als een yeti aan ieders waarneming weet te onttrekken. Verder worden de recente successen van eerdere gasten Anne Broeksma en Dieuwertje Mertens gevierd.
