Hola, Soy Gerardo Gaya, Presidente Ejecutivo de Iluminemos por el Autismo y en este episodio platicamos con Elisabet Gómez, originaria de Barcelona, con formación en educación física, fisioterapia y especialidad en danza, quien en 2016 conoció a Abraham Ros, a quien ya tuvimos hace algunos episodios de invitado en este podcast y te sugiero escuches también la entrevista que le hice para tener un poco de mayor contexto, están casados y son padres de Yulia de 9 años de edad también diagnosticada con autismo.
Elisabet nos platica su experiencia con el autismo como madre y esposa. Sus miedos, retos, el proceso de diagnóstico de ambos, la importancia de marcar límites a su familia y con ella misma, así como su cambio de vida al dejarlo todo en España y mudarse a México para iniciar de nuevo.
También nos platica su proceso y aprendizajes como cuidadora, la importancia de la comunicación en pareja, su concepto de inclusión y el cómo la empatía le ha ayudado para apoyar a su esposo e hija.
