With over 100 theatre and stage credits to his name, Stuart has been acting and occasionally singing on stage and in film since his teenage years. He has a proven ability to adapt to various genres, from serious drama to comedy and farce, and brings an unwavering enthusiasm and passion for the art to every project.Stuart's love for theatre was sparked by his Edmonton high school drama teacher and professional actor, the late Orest Kinasewich. He pursued his passion for theatre as he moved around Canada with his family, eventually settling in Calgary in 2001. Shortly after arriving, he discovered a sense of community at the Workshop Theatre, where he served on the board for ten years, including four years as President.Stuart is committed to continually honing his craft and has taken advanced acting classes with renowned instructors such as Dr. Mark Schoenberg, Chantal Perron, Joe Norman Shaw, and others. His notable awards include the Best Supporting Actor Award for his role as Tommy Quick in Norm Foster's Bedtime Stories and the Best Actor Award for George in David Mamet's The Duck Variations.Some of Stuart's favorite roles include Richard Nixon in the stage play Frost/Nixon, Caldwell B Cladwell in Urinetown: The Musical, and Uncle in Fargo Season 5. With his extensive experience and dedication to his craft, Stuart is poised to continue making a significant impact in the Calgary film and television industry.
