Time to Shine - Interview With Lola Bejide

Everybody has their path and like me, Lola had an early start in entrepreneurship but also found herself in the corporate world. I guess the story is the same, there is only so long you go until you have to answer the call of your purpose. This story definitely rings true for Lola and in this interview you will hear how driven, fearless, confident, audacious and bold she is! She is going after her passion, carving out a lane for herself and taking no prisoners whilst doing it! All of this whilst being a wife and mother of 3 KITM (Kings In The Making).

About Lola
A certified career coach specialising in helping young professionals navigate their corporate careers in those crucial formative and developmental stages. I deliver 1-1 career coaching, group career coaching and people skills/leadership workshops to secondary school students, undergraduates, post-graduates. A passionate believer in empowering the learners today to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Before founding Soluman Consultancy, I obtained 20+ years of corporate experience as an Snr Business Manager & Global training lead working within leading organisations such as Merrill Lynch, Zenith Bank (Nigeria), HSBC, JP Morgan, ABN AMRO and Barclays.

During my corporate career, my side of the desk role included mentoring and coaching numerous Entry-level employees. My primary focus was to support them in successfully adapting to corporate culture, equipping them with the tools and strategies to map out their career progression trajectory and how to navigate the bumps that arise in the journey & ultimately transforming them from employees to “architects of their career”.
