This week on Imposter Sisters, Alix and Colleen take a different approach - no guest, just the two of us diving into a topic that’s deeply personal. With both of us recently diagnosed with ADHD, we’re opening up about how it intersects with imposter syndrome.

In this episode, we explore how ADHD contributes to imposter syndrome, starting with executive function challenges. We also touch on difficulty accepting positive feedback, negative self-talk, delayed or abandoned goals, feelings of overwhelm, inconsistent performance, and the ever-present fear of failure and a few of the common misconceptions about ADHD that we've all heard time and time again.

As this is all very new to us, we’re still in the process of learning - finding the right medications, systems, and strategies that work for us. This conversation is just Part One of what we expect will be an ongoing dialogue as we continue to navigate this newfound "superpower."

Tune in for a raw and honest discussion about ADHD, imposter syndrome, and the journey toward self-acceptance.
