He needs to work something out in his mind.
It's going to be glorious.
Just another explosion man.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Don't disappoint us, Mr.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Shido.
All right, so we got somethings to talk about.
It's been crazy.
The Olympics is going on rightnow.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, grab your controllers, pick that shit
up Speed.
What's that?
It's a gaming kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
So, as you know, I don't know if you heard, but
Netflix had a leak this weekearlier.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yeah, I heard.
What was it like the first sixepisodes of crap.
What was it that got leaked?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
It was mad stuff.
Hold on, I got you right now.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I heard it hit Crunchy too right.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Yeah, it affected Crunchy a bit because sure, some
of the stuff that they may beshowing at the same time, like
uh ron behalf, which was one ofthe shows that got hit, that got
like an episode release, wellleaked I should say, yeah, it
was six episodes, the first sixepisodes, that don don got
leaked like the intro.

(03:00):
Intro is already on tiktok.
I ain't trying to hear it.
I need to see the official.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yeah, what's in it coming out October yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
October.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Hey man it's right around the corner.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Hold your horses.
Oh man, this is crazy.
Rezero Season 3.
The first episode was leaked.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Not my cup of tea, but I can see how unfortunate
that might be for people.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
All of the episodes of the Terminator Zero anime got
leaked.
That's tough Crazy man.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Isn't that a Netflix original?

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Yeah, that's tough.
Arcane also got dropped, tooCrazy.
Then you have the Mananoke themovie.
That's a.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
That was effective.
They really did get hit hard, jesus yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
And there was also a couple of the what's it called,
just animated or just movieNetflix originals that also got
up there.
One was called Heartstopper,season 3.
Whatchacallit, genchi, child vsthe Underworld, and films like
Plants and Movie and Spellboundwere also leaked.

(04:01):
So it's been crazy, were alsoleaked.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
So it's been crazy.
Sorry, bro, I don't know whatto tell y'all Y'all, the ones
who started raising prices.
This is only a matter of time.
Somebody's gonna get you.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Nah, this is wild.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Hit them hard too.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
It's crazy, it's also affected some of the release
dates too, for some of thethings.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Mmm, it's also affected some of the release
dates too.
For some of the things Can'tsay I condone it.
But Nah, this shit is wild Damn.
As someone who enjoys theweek-to-week grind a little bit
for anime, this is.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
It's crazy.
It happens like months beforeyour original um schedule is set
out yeah, messing with the damn.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
They're gonna lose a lot of money off this too look.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Luckily they were saying that they um the videos,
those that were leaked on video, whatever um the quality was
complete horseshit and okaythey've been trying like the
sites or whatever that had andthat had it out there.
They've been like scrubbing themoff, so okay they're moving to
get them to get it down andstuff, though, but, like I said,

(05:12):
twitter, not twitter or tiktok.
They have the, what you call it, since the six episodes of
donna don the opening is up overthere and now it's being, you
know, used up on like just songsor whatever for the TikTok.
So people getting over here hitwith the leaks is crazy man.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
They tried to hit Japanese people for their
intellectual property.
That was a bad move in thefirst place.
They don't play around withtheir intellectual property over
there, bro.
Nah, copyright strike you sofast.
Not surprised all this isgetting scrubbed off the
internet.
Scrubbed off, quote unquote umit's out there, but you know,

(05:56):
that's his life.
The the poor quality is, uh, Ithink, is a solid little, solid
little break for them, though, because then that means it's not
like super, yeah, watchable.
That way they can still gettheir viewership.
Yeah, I'm all this says to meit's gonna be great.

(06:21):
You leaked it.
That means it must be damn good.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
So I can't wait for don don don though yeah, yeah,
I'm.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Uh, as soon as that joins down, I'm gonna, I'm gonna
, pick it right up and read it.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
It's gonna be awesome we spoke of it a little bit,
though, but the olympics animehas been up in olympics they've
been hitting Jojo poses.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Jojo poses.
Gear 2 poses.
Somebody did the.
I think I saw some.
I don't know if this was CG,not CG, this was photoshopped or
what, but some dude, you knowthe thing that had like a
Mexican flag on.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Oh yeah, that was real yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
He was doing the Luffy jump Like from Skypiea.
It's hilarious, bro, bro.
It really is becoming a realinternational thing, real
cultural shift for for anime andmanga it's everywhere now can't
knock it, bro, and they tellyou it's just a comic book or

(07:21):
it's just a cartoon.
You can tell yep, and everybodyloves it still speaking of the
olympics, though.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
have you seen?
It's just a comic book or it'sjust a cartoon?
Keep telling you.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Everybody loves it.
Still speaking of the Olympics, though, have you seen that
terrible?

Speaker 1 (07:34):
breakdance them Australian ladies, bro, bro, she
has a PhD in breaking.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
That's crazy.
I'll never touch my chin again.
I'll never fake breakdanceagain, because now I feel like
I'm an idiot.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
I know I'm an idiot at doing it but that was crazy.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
I kept hearing about it too and I finally got the
video from Kofi yesterday and Iwas like what did I just watch?
I wasn't even mad or anything.
I'm just like somebody sat in aroom and said, yes, this is the
best we got, this is it wecould, this is how we're gonna
win gold.
This is how we're gonna wingold.

(08:08):
They choreographed that, bro.
You could see it on her facewhile she was doing it.
She hit every move, just likethey practiced.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
You said I'm killing this shit, right now she said
they don't love this one okay, toe tap, toe tap so watch out
now bro, she.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
She just had the moment of her life and then she
watched the report and saweverybody's reaction.
Now she's just probably wettingherself man, a competitor,
smoked her it just be like that, bro.
Some people just aren't meantto dance.
Apparently, australians aren'tmeant to dance.
At least that lady.
What's a PhD in breaking, broBro.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
I don't know, man, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
What school did you go to?
Ew DeVry.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
College.
I see DC College for breakingyou got the games that you
wanted to talk about yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
So uh, games seem to be trying to reinvent themselves
lately to what's been happeningto suit their communities, kind
of a kind of want your cake, you need it to situation.
Uh, overwatch, famouslyoverwatch.
Well, overwatch 1.5.
I play it, so I'm allowed tosay it.
Overwatch 1.5 is now officiallygoing back to overwatch1 not

(09:34):
officially, but I'm making ajoke so they're going to test
out 6v6 to go back to theoriginal format for the game so
basically stripping awayeverything that made it
overwatch 2.
Quote, unquote overwatch, because now the pve is gone.
Right, the new format was here.
Now they're potentiallythinking about moving back to
the old format.
Crazy, what was the point oflaunching a new game?

(09:56):
Like?

Speaker 1 (09:57):
really answer that question, like it should have
just called the overwatch lightbro.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
They even admitted that if they went back to
overwatch one 6v6 format theymay need to regress some of the
systems to handle the loadgraphically so it doesn't like
bro you just taking stepsbackwards and the community's
been paying.
We've been crying for andthey're pandering.
Personally, I don't think it'sgonna work.

(10:21):
Personally don't care.
Either way, I'm still gonnaplay the game because I like the
mechanics, I like the game, whatever, but my goodness, it's
hilarious.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
It's funny as hell to me Also move to a real game,
move to Marvel Rivals when thatdrops.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Oh, when that comes out, I'm definitely going to
play that.
Eh, who knows, maybe it'll havea.
Maybe it'll have a better gripon me than overwatch, does I?

Speaker 1 (10:46):
don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Man, yeah, you're an overwatch fan oh, also the evil
stepchild of the gaming industry.
Ea, they are what they did now.
Oh, respawn is doing some stuffwith apex, bro, they like
overhauled a bunch of themechanics.
Uh, did some systems changes, character changes, passive
changes, new map.
Uh, they got a kimbo's and bro,it's all it.

(11:09):
It's not.
It's not a new game, but theway they changed it, it
definitely plays different, plays better, feels better to
play.
Also, they added quads, whichjust feels like was the natural
way to play the game in thefirst place that's crazy yeah, I
think they really need toinvest they should have just had
quads and they should have justmade it.

(11:30):
Quads was it?

Speaker 1 (11:32):
was it just like um what you call it, like little
temporarily mode or so?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
well, it's been in there since they put it in till
the end of this season, so it'sprobably going to come back once
everything's settled down Kindof like a little game, like
Arenas was.
No, no, no, it was in the coreset, so it was trios and quads.
Oh yeah, Interesting.
Yeah, they're doing some weirdstuff.
They've been experimenting.
They even changed around theirbattle pass.
Now they got two battle passessplit up.

(12:01):
It's a bunch of stuff.
So they're doing stuff in thegame seems to be moving in a
cool direction.
Still same game.
Still same game.
Still shoots the same.
So the third party, yeah, justdifferent just a few different
systems, so if you didn't likethe core gameplay, isn't really
gonna change anything for you,but if you like the core
gameplay, you're just lookingfor a better experience overall.

(12:21):
Yeah, definitely interesting ifyou want to go back and check
it out, uh, on another note, this one's really good news
what's up monster hunter wildsis looking funnest, bro just
give me the hammer gameplay.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
I want to see hammer video man funnest I got.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
I got my own little tickle this morning.
I first woke up this morningbefore recording.
They dropped the Charge Bladegameplay and it looks so
spectacular, so clean.
I saw at least two new guardpoints, maybe three if my eyes
don't deceive me.
The Savage Axe is back.

(13:00):
There's some like they seem tohave iterated on the Axe
gameplay, so it's more fluid,yeah.
And the Axe gameplay actuallyuses the shield as a guard point
.
Now that's what it's doing, bro.
It actually looks like it couldbe very, very fluid and very,
very viable.
In the same way, they made theSwitch axe more fluid in uh,

(13:28):
rise and sunbreak, because fromright from world to rise and
sunbreak, on um switch axes andum rise and sunbreak.
Yeah, it was much more fluid broand you could like, especially
with rapid morph as a skill, youcould just flow.
I think rapid morph is, if itcomes back in this game is going
to be super duper good for this, for the charge blade, but I

(13:52):
digress, I'm getting a littletoo geeky on the charge blade.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
I know you got questions I want the damn hammer
video.
Yes, yes, let me see the impactcraters.
Let me see some changes it's'sgoing to be crazy.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
It's going to be crazy Also long sword drop.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
I didn't see the long sword video.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Long sword was looks good, it was long.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
It's long sword.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
It didn't get too much to me, to be honest.
Helm's spirit look is a littlebit different.
The meter looks a little bitcooler and it's a little bit
more mobile.
Actually a lot more mobile, Allright.
If it was something that felttoo stationary for you, like for
me, it might be something tocheck out now.
So there's that, but again, toomuch to go into.

(14:35):
Maybe we'll talk about this inanother episode.
There's going to be a few moredrops a weapon a day.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
So by the time the next one comes out, we can go
over all the weapons and mostlikely going to be what they
already started doing half of it, right?
Yeah, yeah, they should mostlikely be done by this week.
Yeah, yes, but they alsodropped a video, too, of the
systems.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
Yeah, also uh, there was a what was it?
An earnings call, somethinglike that for capcom a few weeks
ago.
Turns out they're looking forreports for this game for the
end of this fiscal year, whichmeans we could probably get this
game as early as the holidayseason or early next year,

(15:16):
because the fiscal year might bein march.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
I see that they might just do it early next year.
Yeah, like a january release,because that's how they've been
doing like for the most of themright for most of them, that's
my guess.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
But to be honest, why miss the christmas season,
dropping it like, I don't know,early december?
That would be nice that's mesaying it be cool, be cool, be
cool, uh, also that would be anice surprise.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Actually facts.
I need something for de.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
That is true, Sticking with games.
Evo.
Evo was crazy.
A punk on the rise, bro.
I'm just saying my man bro hometo go.

Speaker 1 (15:56):

Speaker 1 (16:05):

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Shout out to punk.
A lot of having to.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
I'm not the fighting game guy, so they drop mad
videos um Lucy from what youcall it Cyberpunk.
It's going to be a guestcharacter in what you call it
Guilty Gear.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Okay, never mind, I don't care.
I'm kidding.
If it's not Soul Calibur, it'shard to get me to talk about
fighting games.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Bro, just go get you an anime fighter.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
That's what Sparking Zero is going to be bro.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Sparking Zero is like the Budokai Tenkaichi.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Yeah, bro, that's my anime fighter, you have fighters
, I see you in Fighters 2.
I would play Fighters 2.
I did play Fighters for alittle bit.
I would play Fighters 2.
Fighters 2 is fine.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Yeah Yo, I'm actually kind of mad because right now
they got the alpha for 2RKO, theleague game, the League of
Legends fighter game.
I've been watching videos of it.
It looks so clean and so crispand it's a tag thing.
So literally you your boyfighting other people online 2v2

(17:29):
.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Bruh.
I feel called out Bruh die.
I don't play fighting games.
And I feel called out Crazy man.
I guess I have to invest inthis.
What's this called?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
2KO, 2ko.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
He's going to be on the 5?
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
Okay, alpha test People who got in the alpha test
.
They are playing it on consoleand PC.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Oh, I'll check it out .
Yeah, yeah, we could bewrecking people on the internet.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
It's crazy man.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
I'm gonna have to learn how to play a fighting
game.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Then we got the crazy Ross of League of Legends.
Ah man.
Only way to oh, I to play afighting game.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Then we got the crazy .

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Ross of League of Legends, oh man.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Only way to win.
Oh, I'll play as Jinx.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Oh yeah, she is in the game.
Yeah, they showed her.
I don't know if she's in a testone the alpha test though, but
she's definitely in the gamethough.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
I'll play as Jinx.
I'll play as Jinx.
That'll be crack, a lot of goodshit.
So I'm definitely going tocheck that that one out to.
To KO, yeah yeah.
So also we got a lot ofcharacters announced at Evo for
a lot of different games, so wedid that Guilty Gear.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
I know, I know I mentioned Lucy.
She's like supposed to be nextyear for.
Guilty.
Gear, but they also announcedgoing continuing on for season
four.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
they got dizzy, return to dizzy and venom like
spider-man forgive me forsounding like a dummy but I've
never played guilty gear so Ihave no clue what's going on.
Is this like a collab, or isthat?

Speaker 1 (18:58):
like no, no, that's an actual character okay cool,
okay this hasn't placed cool, cool, cool, cool.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Look.
I can remain ignorant.
I can ask the question.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Yeah, now Venom's coming back.
I'm kind of hyped to see whatthey're going to do for his kid.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
That's cool.
All right, we also got a fewannounced for Tekken.
Yes, not a lot of characters, but they did announce Season 2
coming.
Mm-hmm.
And Hayachi so.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
This old man survives everything, bro.
Hey man, hey man, he survivedbeing thrown into a volcano.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
He survived out of space.
He came back to kick his kidsbro at this point yo at this
point, he just can't be killed, nope immortal, uh also mortal
combat.
A nice little healthy mix.
Got a few guest ones with t1000, uh also ghost face and conan.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
So it's been a minute .
People have been asking forghost face for the longest bro,
these guys are perfect for.
I'm surprised about um, becausea perfect mk I'm surprised
about the T-1000, though it'sinteresting, though I'm hyped
for it.
They also announced two what.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
That silence was hysterical.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
They also announced what you call it Sector and
Cyrax, as well as Noob Cyborgtoo, for the what you call it
New season.
There you go.
Well, not the new season, though, but the story mode.
We get there somehow.
What you call that New season?
There you go.
Well, not the new season, though, but the story mode.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
We get there somehow.
Terrible words.
Words is hard sometimes.
That's a fact.
Yo, they're really showing offwith all the characters, bro.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Six of them.
They showed off a little storytrailer for it.
It was kind of cool.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Is that like the characters throughout the whole
year coming next?
Or is that like one like, atleast for?

Speaker 1 (20:52):
season two because they just finished with season
one with Takeda.
Mm-hmm.
Who knows, we'll see if theyeven do a season three.
What do they do?
They usually do like multipleone character is like yeah, like
one character is.
Well, it's like multipleseasons, those like six
characters.
They're going to be showing upbut they'd be thrown for like a
cross of the actual seasons copycopy, copy, that's cool that's

(21:14):
what.
That's what they've been doingwith fighting games now as a
whole.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Honestly nah, games is a live service.
Don't you love it, crazy man?
Alright, and now to wrap up theSpeed Blitz fire ass news.
They announced the assembly ofthe Avengers for the One Piece,

(21:37):
They got everybody's in there.

So that's when.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Attack on Titan.
What was it?
The director from Attack onTitan?
Yeah, from WIT Studio one.
So that's when Attack on Titanwas back on their thing, not
with MAPPA.
Oh, the OG anime.
Oh, I did like their animationbetter too, and he said that he
loves.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
One Piece.
Bro he had to step up for thecall.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
I swear I saw, when you showed me them today, the
shocks, bro, if that is what theanimation looks like and they
do it and look, look, oh it's.
I'm just gonna say it from whatI saw today.
Whether you like the style ornot, when it's all said and done
, that shit is gonna be alegendary anime to match a

(22:27):
legendary manga.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Wiz Studio is actually very clean.
Oh man, so good.
It's such a unique animationstyle it is, it's pretty nice.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
And it's done well, and the characters look like the
actual characters and itdoesn't take anything away from
the panel.
Looks really cool.
Looking forward to that Such agood time.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Damn.
You got the Toei one piece.
You got the remake, the WitStudio remake.
You got the freaking liveaction.
Speaking of the live action, season two is looking good.
They already did all thecastings for the.
For the rest of the BoroughWorks.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Oh, for real, I gotta go back and look at that.
We should.
We'll get back to you guys onthat one.
I'm gonna post that on theInstagram or something once we
find it.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Speaking of if you ain't following.
I mean you should be followingbecause we always.
You should be following Becausewe always dropping stuff.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, that is true In another world pod on Instagram.
In another world podcast.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Facebook, and then Truckoon Talk on Twitter.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Yep, you know where to find us.
Ah, came early that time.
Ah, that's very, that's very.
Yeah, that's good.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
So the question.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Question of the episode.
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
The question was Hold on, don't be a dope.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
The question was I got you.
The question was what makes apower system great and why.
What's some of your favorites?

Speaker 3 (24:08):
I personally find this to be a very interesting
question.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
This was a good one.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Yes, so don't laugh.
But me and Mo are kind ofwriting a story.
So the question popped into myhead and I figured you know what
.
Let's just ask, because it isan interesting question Power
systems.
People love to power scale.
Don't know why, but it seems tobe at the forefront of
everybody's cortex in liferecently.

(24:34):
So I wanted to pick everybody'sreign.
What makes your favorite powersystem so good, you know so?

Speaker 1 (24:42):
I was able to get some answerswers.
Responses from y'all.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
There's some solid ones too.
We'll be getting Digi, meganand Neville.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Yeah, and then I think CJ had also Said something
too.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Yes and CJ Alright, so you wanna start with?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
I'm gonna start with Megan.
Go for it.
Megan said Creativity for her.
She considered when sheconsiders a power system, she
considers it like part of theworld building.
So she think power systems Workwell that are creative and
simple.
If something's too convolutedit can easily get messy With the
world.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
That is fair.
Once your power system Startsdoing too much, it gets a little
bit harder to track too.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Yeah, there has to be some level of groundedness.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Yeah, you didn't get people pulling off bullshit
because the rules are loose, butyou know.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yeah, you definitely went over with some BS.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
I mean, I don't want to sidetrack, but I think that
might be part of what peopleDislike about the Sukuna stuff
too Feels like the system Is soloose that he's just exploiting
it.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Yeah, no, he's Definitely running that system
at A thousand.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
That's actually a really good point making sure
that the system is like simple, but not like Also exploitable.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Yeah, what you got.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Well, yeah, digi said that the power system, that
multiple general techniques anddepth in a character's ability
should show variety among thedifferent different characters.
So characters being able tolike, use that while how

(26:32):
creative they can use the powerwithin the exactly like more
than one concept within thispower system and being able to
use the power system at usethose concepts at a higher level
to like show, like thedistinction in their ability.
So, yeah, I feel like that'svery good.
Uh, who, who does that reallygood really well to know then,

(26:53):
yeah, hunter, hunter.
Yes, hey, get a little note.
So multiple things to learn, like abilities to sense things,
creating a nen barrier whilecreating their own abilities can
be very unique and becomebetter with the, the vile system
, with the vile system.
I'm not super familiar with nen, but I know that is good yeah,

(27:18):
some people they their.
The abilities are always likesuper diverse, like uh, netero
with the buddhist, uh techniques.
And then I heard there wasanother chick who could like um,
what's she doing?
She could like reanimate uh, uhcorpses and shit or like some
kind of manipulation technique.
Where in the I gotta get out ofthe youtube rabbit hole, bro,

(27:43):
because I'm trapped in justtrapped in the youtube rabbit
hole.
I wish I could explain thisbetter to you guys, but I know
exactly what the video turned to20, huh, yeah I know, I know
exactly what digi means like.
Seeing a character really likeexcel at using the concepts in
the power system really doesmake it seem like fulfilling

(28:06):
yeah because then it really is.
It gives it layers exactly likeyou know you could really tell
a character's like a badass.
They put the work in.
That is always somethingrewarding to see.
Yeah, nah, all right, uh whoelse?

Speaker 1 (28:23):
um, I had one from what to call it.
I had one from cj.
He didn't go really all toomuch in it, though, but main
things that he wanted to harp onwas balance, consistency and
originality.
Those are the things he findsmake a good power system yeah,

(28:43):
that seems similar to what digiis saying too.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Like originality, uh, balance is really good.
I think that's something thatshould always be considered,
because then you don't want likebro, you could.
You could be creative and, like, push the limits, but like also
not one thing be tooexploitable, that could be

(29:06):
problematic.
Oh, you know who does diversityand creativity really well?
Who Bleach, bleach was diverse.
Yeah, yeah, there's a lot ofsolid core concept like Flash,
Step, Reatsu, Control, Hado Kido.

(29:26):
And then you had theoriginality, which came from
awakening forms from theresurrection forms.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Resurrection forms kind of went wild and I ain't
gonna lie yeah, they really did.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
Even some of the buffs and the boosts that you
got from they're really cool.
So, yeah, no, that's a reallygood idea.
A balance like core of powerssurrounded by and then the
quincy's game dynamic catalysts.
The abilities were cool as helltoo.
Like I'll never forget grammy,I'll never not bring grammy up.
Grammy's ability was fire.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Very simple imagination, but very fire they
did have a lot of freakingbreaking, broken ones, oh my god
bro, freaking bahala mm-hmm.

Speaker 3 (30:11):
As long as your react to could hope it's good,
maintain it.
You were just could be asbroken as you wanted to, as
broken as your imagination wouldlet you be, and it worked.
Didn't feel like overpowered, served the narrative it was cool
.
The other one we got came fromNeville Neville.
Everybody seems to be echoingthe same thing mostly.

(30:33):
So Neville's example that hegave is the system from Avatar
with bending Like you are.
I think it's a little differentin that you are like select in
being able to be a bender.
So whatever the power systemhas, it's rare for you to have
it, but you have the ability toget it and even in that small
pool of people you are.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
There's different levels to it.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
You're just that guy and stuff like and something
like that is very cool.
Like he said, king Booming orToph is a good example of that,
because both of them reallyexcelled at what they did, but
then they were in that rare poolof people who were offenders in
general.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
So freaking tough, learn how to metal bend.
She is the originator of metalbending.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
Yeah, she invented at a young age too.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Bro.
Then it was lava benders in thecomics and stuff.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
Yeah, look at Cora.
Look how far metal bending tookhim the whole police force.
It's crazy bro.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Yo, it was wild with those, what you call them Taser
whips.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
Mm-hmm, and this actually shows Megan's example
too, how powers involve worldbuilding.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Yep how it can elevate the story.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
Exactly.
Avatar is an excellent exampleof that, because it shows how
the world is shaped by bendingin general, and bending came
from spirits.
Yo, it was crazy.
I love Korra.
Korra is good.
I love Aang.
Don't get me wrong, but I thinkKorra complete story bro.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
It gets a lot of hate , though, but Korra is good.
Korra is good.

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Very good story, very complete story.
Really opened up the universeOf Avatar for me, so Can't
complain.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
You went to write on animals and pulling cards and
stuff to actual, actualautomobile bills and stuff.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Alright, so Give me your answer.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
My answer Damn, it's a little bit from what everybody
else said but, I agree that apower system, a good power
system, something that's kind ofgrounded, it should always be,
I feel, what makes it strong,Having some type of rules and
stuff.
That way nothing's beingexploited, Nothing's too

(32:50):
ridiculous now but also some bitof complexities.
Creativity, I feel, is thehighest what you would need for
a good battle system andsomething you know, just the
balance of it all to just meldit together, Because things can
get overpowering sometimes andcrazy.

(33:11):
I mean.
Sheesh, Naruto's not reallyfair when you think about it.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
That's true.
There are a lot of hacks inNaruto Dude.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
God damn, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I hate
you so much, I Dude, god damn, Ihate you, I hate you.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
I hate you, I hate you so much you thought about it
I hate you so much.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
I hate you so much.
We have this conversation allthe time about Sharingan's and
how dominant they are in thestory.
But Completely, but at the endof the day it's a narrative
force in the story it drives theplot forward.
So in the story it drives theplot forward.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
So I get it, but I also get what you're saying,
just kills it Because they werevery overpowered?
You're telling me that they'renot.
No other family seems nearly ascrack.
Yeah, I can't argue with you Iget a dojutsu that can copy
jutsus and the few people I canhave top tier genjutsu the
average.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
I can reality warp, bro, the average.
Okay okay, you got it, you gotit, you got it.
I'll concede to you this onetime.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Ain't nothing grounded about OTIs and R2s.
Nah, they're pretty broken Broyou mean to say I get to shoot
black flames that could last onfor seven days, or until I
decide I just want to turn itoff.
Fine, I get it, you win Anyway.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Black flames that could last on for seven days, or
until I decide I just want toturn it off.
Fine, I get it, you win.
Anyway, fairness.
Which is important in a powersystem.
Yeah, I agree, though.
Yeah, no, I fully agree.
I think fairness is veryimportant in a power system.
Me, personally, I prefer asystem of balance.

(34:49):
I don't like making stuffoverpowered for the sake of
making stuff overpowered.
I like stuff that makes sense.
So, personally, me, if you'rereally like, how do I make this
make sense?
Oh, I'm gonna go back to bleachfor an example.
Uh, if you read the ThousandYear Blood War, or if you didn't

(35:09):
, I'm gonna spoil you, but Ifyou did, then you understand
what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Which one are you talking about from them I?

Speaker 3 (35:15):
mean they already animated it, so if you haven't
read it or watched it, thenyou're probably not a Bleach fan
.
Which one is this?
I'm talking about Rukia, ohFear.
No, not Fear, I'm talking aboutrookie.
Is bankai.
Oh oh, oh yeah.
So I I like balance, I likefairness, I like drawbacks,
personally.
So the way our rookie is likereally new with her bankai and

(35:37):
if she uses it too fast or tooaggressively or doesn't it's
very conscious, exactly, there'sadverse effects.
So I like things to make sense,I like for things to like, link
into things, and I guess thisusually would harken back to the
same thing that megan wassaying about like world building
, because stuff like that tendsto create a narrative around the
character, like a another layerunderneath the story I do

(36:00):
sometimes feel like, with somethings, power with, with some
souls, when it comes to powersystem, world building is
definitely lost on it yeah, yeah, as much as much as I made fun
of jjk earlier for how loosebinding vows are, a lot of the
other stuff with curse energy isactually very restrictive.
Like you can't spam your domain, use your domain, you get uh,

(36:22):
curse technique burnout.
You can't use your cursetechnique, you can't spam your
domain, you have to wait for acooldown.
It's stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
There's complexities with it.
Yeah, where it's like it's notnearly as loose.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
Exactly that's what makes binding vows so weird in
the story, because binding vowsthere's no real drawback you do
it.
If you break it, especiallybinding vows at yourself.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
You do it, you break it, you lose what you got.
That's about it.
There's no restriction.
You break a binding vow anotherperson.
We don't know what thatrestriction is.
It's flexible on um.
It's flexible and like thelosses, where it just doesn't.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
I still think that's gonna come back.
By the way, that didn't happenfor no reason, bro.
That didn't happen for noreason, bro.
We'll see, we'll see.
I swear, I swear anyway, yeah,but no, I think that's really
important in the power system, because then you can build it
into the story and buildnarratives around it, because
then you can add stakes.
Yeah, you know what I mean.
Like you think of yourself in afight, you try to spam your

(37:18):
abilities.
You can't spam your abilitiesbecause if you do, you'll be too
weak and you can't defendyourself, and then you have
another layer to the combat thatneeds to be taken into account.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
It just I think it adds more yeah, and also
especially too, where, like, ifyour character hits that ceiling
within that power system, howcreative you want the character
to get around it exactly exactlybecause that's what like makes
like unique people unique.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
You find that way.
You find that extra gear thatother average people can't find
yeah well it works, I guess, butall these stuff in combination
would definitely be the perfectpower system, right?
Yeah don't you love it?
We should write our story.
We should write our own story.
All should write our own story,All of us.
Let's put our heads togetherand write our own story.
That'd be good.

(38:10):
Could make this the round table.
Digi, CJ, Neville, Megan,Maurice and Kaz.
We got this.
Ah, let's go.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
All right, Damn.
I gave you some real goodquestions, some real good
answers for that, for real.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
Didn't expect that.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
We appreciate y'all.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Let me shut the fuck up.
I always say I don't expect it,but I always expect it.
You guys never fail us.
You guys are great.
Yeah, so summer's kicking off.
You went to Evo Deadpooldropped.
I didn't go to Evo Deadpooldropped, I didn't go to Evo.
I said Evo you know what I mean.

(38:52):
Dreamcon you went to DreamCon.
You need to go.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
We'll talk about that .

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Evo's in Vegas.
Dreamcon might actually.
I heard DreamCon might be inVegas this year.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Oh, they actually announced it too.
What Houston.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
It's going gonna be in houston.
Lying bastards isn't rdc evenhouston, though, yeah, so they
ain't going nowhere, vegas was alie.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
It was a lie, it was a little lie just chapping their
gums actually you did a funnyvideo about that they did.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
Yeah, oh, dude, you got jerks.
I swear to god, bro, a lot ofthem you get under my skin.
They're mad funny though.
They're mad funny though.
But yeah, nah 25, we're goingto be in Houston.
All right, we out, bro andBrian and them said they might
want to come too, so this couldbe the guy's trip next year bro.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
What's up?
Speaking?

Speaker 3 (39:43):
of cons for a brief bit.
We're going to Anime nyc facts.
So if you guys are coming, letus know.
We'll link up with you guys, say what's up what up?
Yeah, we haven't met any of youguys yet.
Well, I'm lying, well we weremaking, but you don't really
count, but you know yeah, yeahbut yeah you know, shoot a

(40:04):
message.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
We definitely let us yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
Yeah, bro, we'd love to meet y'all, do a little.
We might do some Quick Q&A thatwe'll Break down and stuff.
We're gonna try to think Ofsome cool stuff.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
I'll be seeing some videos Of it.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
Yeah, so We'll see what's up.
That is Coming up this summeras well.
More summer, shit.
It's not the best season foranime.
I will acknowledge that.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
I think it's a very light season which is good.
I don't mind having a littlelight.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
That's a cool new stuff, nothing too crazy.
I think Slice of Life might beon the brighter side this time
around.
A couple of my favorites thisyear are on the brighter side
this time around.
A couple of my favorites thisyear on the slower side new
seasons or just a new new series?
new series oh okay, so it'sinteresting.
One of them is gonna be madfunny.

(40:56):
Which one is that.
You know what I'm gonna startwith that.
Judge me if you want.
Judge me if you want.
But I caved because I was boredone day, just to see if this
was as gross as I thought itwould be.
It was not.
It was much better than Ithought it would be.
Days with my stepsister Judgeme if you want, I don't care.
Terrible man Bro.

(41:17):
They're basically likestrangers 17, 17.
Their parents get married.
They wind up having to livetogether.
Their parents get married.
They wind up having to livetogether.
They wind up bonding over herlack of dealing with people yes,
exactly, she's not used to likehaving siblings and like
interacting with other peopleregularly, so she because she's

(41:38):
like a one of those loner stylepeople so and he's more of like
a he's outgoing I don't want tosay he's outgoing, but he's a
very reasonable person.
Very well.
So he has like a little switchor so yeah, so he's able to,
like, guide her through certainthings and help her like, uh,
learn now how to start dealingwith people.
And obviously two 17 year olds, like I said, perfect strangers

(42:03):
they might as well have met atschool.
If they met at school and thestep, step thing didn't happen
until later in series, it wouldbe a different story.
But obviously the taboos aroundit it's not that I acknowledge
it, whatever, but to be honest, cool though yeah, it's on.
It's on the slower side.
So if you're not interested inthat like conversational kind of

(42:25):
style anime, because there'svery few different settings,
there's not a lot of differentcharacters involved, it's mostly
interactions between him andher and a few other side
characters here there.
So, yeah, might not be for you.
I find it interesting, I don'tknow.
Let's see where it goes.
That's the point I'm at.
So yeah, um, so yeah, watchinga few other things, but not too

(42:50):
much like super duper,noteworthy, no-transcript I'm
butchering the name I'm notremembered I'm butchering the
name like a maniac.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
That's not it why I'm not remembered in my world why
does nobody remember me in thisworld?

Speaker 3 (43:09):
there you go, I'm a butcher it's fine though it's
fine, though that one, uh, I'mwatching that.
That one's okay, very average,is what it is.
There's also, uh, is it isekai?
Yeah, well, no, not technicallyit.
I don't want to get too muchinto this one because it's not
like I don't think it's like thebest ones.
Like, if you're looking forsomething like generically

(43:32):
actiony, uh, kind of magical, kind of cool, yeah, you can
watch this animation's not liketop tier for the fights, but
looks like they might spend somemoney later on down the line to
like show one of the big fights.
Uh, yeah, uh, I don't thinkit's the best of the model there
.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
Uh, it is very isekai-ish, um, okay so it got
like some of the tropes, thefantasy tropes that you see
nowadays.
Yeah, if you weren't payingattention.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
You watch it in the middle you think it was an
isekai.
Uh, there's like shoshimen, which, which is how to Become
Ordinary.
That one's a slice of life,pretty solid.
There's also the other slice oflife.
This is my favorite one.
So sorry, everything I'mwatching this season.
This is my favorite anime thatI've watched this season.
It's called Makine.

(44:19):
Too Many Losing Heroines.
Hilarious, hilarious, hilarious.
So funny and I'm going torewatch it in dub because I
think the dub is going to behilarious and fantastic.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
What is it even about ?
What's going on with this one?

Speaker 3 (44:32):
So this one is about this young man.
He's in school and he,incidentally, starts to befriend
girls who have recently beenrejected by, uh, the people they
like.
So it starts with makine.
I see it starts at makine, popular chick, super cute by uh,

(44:53):
anime standards, you know.
So she's the popular cute chick.
She gets rejected by herchildhood best friend for her
best friend.
So she's distraught about it.
And but she's stuck betweenthem because childhood best
friend for her best friend.
So she's distraught about it.
But she's stuck between thembecause childhood best friend
plus her female best friend.
Now they're together.
Blah, blah, blah.
Whatever drama, blah, blah,blah.
But he also starts to befriendthis other chick who's in his
literature club who getsrejected by one of the

(45:15):
presidents in the literatureclub because they're dating
someone else in the literatureclub.
You see what I'm saying.
It's like everybody knowseverybody, everybody likes
everybody, and he just happensto be befriending the people who
are getting rejected.
So now he has this weird littleharem of sorts.
It's mad funny bro.
There's this little the tropeyblack tomboy girl, the shy weeby

(45:40):
girl and then the popularpretty chick, the interactions
they get into.
It's bad funny.
Right now it's a little tidbitmackinac is going through like
the stages of depression almostand now she's in the phase where
she's like accepting it, bro, when I tell you she pulled out a
self-help book and startedfloating in the air lights

(46:00):
behind her, like oh startedfloating in the air lights
behind her like, oh sure it is,man, I'm over, bro, it's
actually really funny.
It's really charming, uh, veryfunny.
The characters are very lovable, so that was very interesting
to check out.
Uh, on the action front, uh,you know my hero's continuing.
Yeah, uh, monogatari is out.
That's like a psycho kind ofactiony, very cerebral.

(46:21):
I'm waiting for that to finish, just because See what's up with
them?
You know they do the out oforder thing with the episodes.
Right now I think episode onethat's listed on Crunchyroll is
technically episode three, so Ijust want to watch them in order
when it's all over.
I'm not going to bust my braindoing that.
There's also the ElusiveSamurai.

(46:42):
I haven't started it, but itlooks good holding my breath.
Very pretty to look at, verypretty to look at kind of slow
to start gonna go back and watchit once.
a few more episodes are out.
Stay tuned.
Looking into our last crusadeof the rise of a new world,

(47:07):
animation looks really fire.
Thought it was CG slash 3Danimation at one point.
Turns out it wasn't.
I was just really mistaken.
That's how cracked theanimation was.
Bam Scared me for a second.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
That cracked it and made you think that it was
freaking.
3d.

Speaker 3 (47:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So far favorite action, not thebest animation, because it's a
weird mix of CG and lineanimation.
It's really awkward Failureframe.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (47:43):
No Failure frame.
Failure, failure frame.
I really like it's about thisgeneric isekai formula, kind of
in the arifuerta style, wherethe dude gets reincarnated, well
, gets isekai to another worldwith his uh, classmates, bunch
of scumbags, mix of scumbags andshitheads is that the one where
like the um, the goddess, yeah, the summoner chick, and then
she's like ruthless, or whatever?

Speaker 1 (48:04):
yeah, and she sends him into the dungeon I didn't
get to see it, it was good yeah, yeah, I like it.

Speaker 3 (48:10):
I think the story is better than um what I think
would be its contemporary thisseason, which is the one about
why no one remembers me in inthis world I think that's
probably the one that's mostsimilar in style.
I think the story for this one'sbetter.
Uh, neither is animations, likeknocking me out of the park,
like making me think, oh my god, bust your head to go watch

(48:33):
these things.
No, they're okay, but I likefailure frame story a lot.
Uh, there is like one littleweird thing Whoever's riding it
has a weird rape kink.
Yeah, what?
Yeah, so it's like Grape.
Not the grape, it's not shown, but trigger warning.
It's used as like a kind oflike a threat quite frequently

(48:58):
in the beginning.
So yeah, kind of threw me off alittle bit.
Might drop it if it continuestoo much, because that stuff is
kind of weird for me sometimes.
Just depends on how it's done.
Last thing I'll mention is Aliasometimes hides her feelings in
Russian, I heard.
It's actually mad funny.

Speaker 1 (49:16):
I heard that it was funny.
It's actually mad funny.

Speaker 3 (49:19):
Is it good?
It's actually mad funny I heardthem.

Speaker 1 (49:21):
I'm going to have to check it.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
Risky sent me some of the panels for the manga super
ecchi manga, not as ecchi in theanime.
There's a few moments whereyou're like crazy, but it's not
like dominating the whole thingand it's also genuinely funny
and the characters are reallyfunny okay, okay yeah, bro, if

(49:44):
you just read the way theytalked, just read the subtitles,
you're gonna be like what, whatis wrong with you?

Speaker 1 (49:50):
what.
I'll check out season um.
I'm saying, I'm saying seasonone.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
Yeah, I'll check out episode one, see how it is I
think episode like three was myfavorite, where he, like uh,
finally talks to his sisterabout one of his choices that he
made.
Funny as hell.
Her reaction mad funny, madfunny.
His sister's also a maniac.
She like sets him up.
He's got like this weird, likeuh bro conch thing going on and

(50:16):
she sets him up all the time.
It's hilarious, damn it'shilarious, bro.
Um, what it's hilarious, bro.
What else is on my list?
I think that's the whole damnthing.
But it's fine Slow season, butfall is supposed to be lit.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
We'll see what happens.
Now, fall always brings thebangers.
Yeah, I think my list is muchsmaller, but still funny.
Much smaller but still funny.
I have the Osan Nubi, adventurertrained to death by the most
powerful party and becameinvincible.

(50:53):
It's, you know, usual.
It's not Isekai, but fantasy inthe sense where, like, they
have leveling systems and stufflike that up in mind, magic and
stuff, but pretty hilarious.
I mean, they tortured that manfor sure.
It was like that, bro one.
So he's 30.
How it runs in his world is hewas like a guild, um, a guild

(51:15):
receptionist.
So he was always given theadventurers quests and stuff
like that and whatnot.
He always wanted to be aventurer.
He's in his 30s, mind you.
So he's like oh, my dream is tobe a venturer and whatnot, I
guess finally gets tired andgets enough of it.
And then he's like, ends upmeeting this crazy od strong
party and whatnot, and then fortwo years he trains under them.

(51:36):
Man comes back ridiculous, buffed up, destroying stuff.
Mind you, when he's firstbrought into the story, they say
like oh, his evaluation is anF-rank adventurer because he
can't do like, it's not pickingup what he's putting down.
Pretty much Bro ends up wallingout.

(51:59):
He's too strong.
But the people, his party, histeam team, his past um the party
who he's trained with prettymuch was killing him and he had
to keep bringing him back.
That's his training.
He was just cooked man that'scrazy.

Speaker 3 (52:16):
You got any other recommendation?

Speaker 1 (52:18):
um, I just started this one, but what was it?
The not allowed to live.

Speaker 3 (52:24):
Oh, dude, I forgot to mention that one, but I'm
definitely going to check it out.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
That's funny.
It's funny.
I figured it would be bro.

Speaker 3 (52:30):
It's hilarious.
He just wants to retire.

Speaker 1 (52:33):
I mean like For lack of better words.

Speaker 3 (52:35):
Yes, he just wants to be on a t-shirt, he just wants
to exit life, and they justwon't let him.

Speaker 1 (52:41):
A man walked up there so many times like saying oh,
come on, I'm right here, I'mjust, you know, just do it, just
do it.
They all looking at him likesaying yeah, nah, hold on.
What's the name of it, damn.

Speaker 3 (52:59):
It is called no Longer Allowed in Another World.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
No Longer Allowed in Another World, no Longer Alive
in Another World.
Yeah, yes, that's good.
Plus, homeboy is also like apoet, so his cadence when he's
talking to people has like thatpoetry type feeling, when he's
like he's very flowy.
He's very flowy.
He's dripped out.
Bro.
My man is just raising uppeople just over here giving

(53:23):
them.

Speaker 3 (53:24):
Sound like a Johnny Depp style character.
He might as well be.
No, but he's swagged out.
He's cool.
Okay, I'm going to check thatone out.
I'm going to check that one out, alright.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
There's also Wistoria .
Oh, sword and wand yeah crackanimation.

Speaker 3 (53:50):
Animation is definitely fire on that.

Speaker 1 (53:52):
We gotta watch that after this yeah, um, that's
right what you're calling heremc's a little bit meek, I know
he.
I just want him to pop out more, that's all I'll.
I just want him to pop out more, that's all I'll say.
I just want him to just pop out.

Speaker 3 (54:05):
You watched last week's episode.
Did you watch last week'sepisode?
I watched last week's episode.

Speaker 1 (54:10):
Cool, I just need him to be on that, All right back.

Speaker 3 (54:16):
Moving forward.
I just need that energy.
All right, hold on.
I need pop-out energy.
Mark this day, Mark this day.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
He needs to have it just constantly on it, just
constantly on it.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
He gonna eat these words.

Speaker 1 (54:29):
I feel it, I feel it, I feel it.
If they give me next week'sepisode and he's back to being
meek about shit bro.

Speaker 3 (54:33):
He got that fire, bro .
I'm telling you, he got thatfire.
Bell who, bell who.
That's all I gotta say Damn man, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (54:41):
You don't care about Bell, no more.

Speaker 3 (54:42):
I love Bell.
Don't get me wrong.
Don't get me wrong.
I love Bell.
Bell's my guy.
He's the Argonaut.

Speaker 1 (54:49):
But yeah, that's pretty much some of the stuff
that I got, aside from the usualones that's already ongoing.

Speaker 3 (54:57):
If you want to skip out on some my Hero spoilers,
jump to 110.
Otherwise, enjoy.

Speaker 1 (55:04):
So my Hero spoilers jump to 110.
Otherwise, enjoy.
So my Hero finally ended andit's been 10 long years 10 long
sad years.
Not all sad.

Speaker 3 (55:15):
I'm sad.
Now it's over.

Speaker 1 (55:17):
That is true.

Speaker 3 (55:18):
Yeah, I'm going to miss my Hero.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
You think they're going to have like like a little
side thing for it?

Speaker 3 (55:23):
I hope so.
I mean, if it stayed gone, Imean I wouldn't care, well not,
let me not phrase it like that.
I think if it stayed gone, Ithink I'd be okay yeah I
understand them like ending thestory this concisely because
then it just keeps it nice andtidy, I'll be all right with
that too yeah, plus horrystarted to kind kinda Get rushed
at the end of it.
So Could be for the best anyway.

Speaker 1 (55:48):
I definitely would love to see A new project from
Hori when he when he fills up toit.

Speaker 3 (55:54):
Yeah, to be honest, yeah, bro, go monthly, start
doing.
Yeah, I would love to see.
We've talked about this before.

Speaker 1 (56:00):
I think that he should definitely Move to a
monthly thing.
Yeah, I think that he shoulddefinitely move to a monthly
thing.
I think a lot of them should Atleast to a bi-weekly, if
anything At least.

Speaker 3 (56:07):
That's what Kishi did when he was done.
He was like let me retire.
And then he came back Let me gomonthly.
Let me go monthly, let me gomonthly.
I think this is good.
Monthly is a good place to be,but, yeah, no, I think he'd be
nice at horror.
Yeah, yeah, he seems to be Withthe last recent stuff with
horror.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
yeah, with the last couple of seasons or arcs of my
Hero, he's definitely beenleaning in with the whole horror
thing dismemberment, all thatdisconfiguration.

Speaker 3 (56:39):
Yeah, could be interesting.

Speaker 1 (56:44):
Controversial ending.
I think it was an alrightending.
I don't think it's as bad aspeople are making it out.
Yeah.
I think the hate that has beengetting for it is definitely
over the place.
It's not worth it.
It's definitely over the placeit's not worth it.

Speaker 3 (57:06):
I guess not Preface this by saying that we are
definitely 100% biased becausewe do like my Hero, but I can
understand where some of thecommunity is coming from.
There were definitely somechoices made in the final arc
that I didn't love either.
Uh, particularly stuff likewith uh bakugo.

(57:29):
I read an interestingconversation with bishop
yesterday.

Speaker 1 (57:33):
Um, I don't, I don't like fake outs personally yeah,
no fake outs, I agree, are theyfeel tacky after they are yeah,
one of the things that I can'tuh like I could, I didn't like
with fairy tale was the amountsof fake outs that they did go on
with it, yeah, and uh this wasjust just cop out.

Speaker 3 (57:57):
Yeah, I, I'm not gonna lie to you, I did the.
The master was supposed to dieat one point in fairy tale and
then he wanted not dying andstuff like that.
It really does take you out ofthe story, especially the when
in the story it's executed likeearly on.
Yeah sure, you probably justifyit with something if you're

(58:19):
good enough for writing thestory, but like the stage it
happened with bakugou, it's alittle weird, a little funky.
So I can see how people may notvibe with it and I can see how
people might feel unfulfilledwith the ending, because the
ending definitely felt like itcould have been a couple extra
chapters, you know maybe two.
Like I know a lot of peoplewanted like resolutions for a

(58:42):
lot of the shipping.
But also the shipping communityis super toxic.

Speaker 1 (58:48):
Yeah, now my Hero, hey, my Hero.
Shippers have to blame onlythemselves, if I'm being real,
because the stuff that they'vebeen saying, like the stuff that
the ship's been going on beencrazy.
It's not cool, it's not thebest community when it comes to
ships.

Speaker 3 (59:10):
Dead threats over what's the word I'm looking for
here, that threats over made-upcharacters in a freaking manga,
death threats really, stuff likethat.
You can understand why the dudedidn't like dedicate a full
chapter to like showing offcertain relationships, because
there were a lot of ships thatwere set up, like um, what's her
name?
The pink chick?
Oh, um with uh asito, asitowith uh kaminari.

(59:33):
Yeah, that was set up.
Um, they set up, obviously dekoand uraraka.
They set up.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
It's there, they so at this point, just draw your
own, your own.

Speaker 3 (59:47):
Um ending with it everybody kind of knows deko and
uraraka end up together.
That is what it is.
It is what it is.
You saw the whole scene.
We got the scene.
They can.
It wasn't like oh my god, Ilove you, uraraka.
Oh my god, I love you.
No, no, there's subtlety inwriting.
There is something to be saidto like showing instead of

(01:00:07):
telling.
You know what I mean.
If you can't like.
I feel like a lot of people, especially now with uh manga and
anime, they want to be liketold everything instead of shown
some things, and I feel likethe best writers are able to
show better than they're able totell, and the best stories are
told.

(01:00:27):
When you're showing rather thantelling.
I don't want to like.
I don't want to need to havefull bricks of text to explain
certain things that's happening.
I mean, hey, this is one ofthose things.
I felt like it was much betterto get that chapter where uh
deku talks to her.

Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
He expresses how he feels his gratefulness and says
hey, basically, yo, you're myhero besides, I'm at this point,
I'm pretty sure that, likewherever the manga failed or
didn't give enough to, I'mpretty sure, when it's time for
the anime to get to it, it'dprobably be like a little bit
more maybe not so much, but alittle bit more with um, with

(01:01:08):
the pacing with it yes, that Icould definitely see them like
stretch it out and give likeanime only type scenes yeah, I
have every confidence thatthey're gonna patch up the
places where we feel like couldhave been patched up, because
they already started doing it.

Speaker 3 (01:01:23):
To be honest, if you've seen the last, the last
episode- let's go, yeah, last upI think it was the vercular
last episode because, yeah, lastepisode of my hero in the anime
.
It was the scene where bakugostarts to be resuscitated after
he's dead.

Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Quote-unquote A little information about Ed Shot
.

Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
Yeah, so the Ed Shot reveal how his powers work, what
he's planning to do.
The way they approached it inthe anime felt substantially
better handled than the way itwas approached in the manga.
And it felt like there was moreexposition and more like focus
put on the revival and how theywere trying to do it to better

(01:02:07):
justify the fact that it didhappen in the first place.
Yeah, reading weekly didn'tfeel great.

Speaker 1 (01:02:16):
You're also coming to the point where, like, deku was
visibly gone from the war forlike a good length when you're
reading it, because doing thewhole um, the whole fight, he's
already risked the way um in theportal and um dabi, their whole

(01:02:37):
resolution endeavor and theother thing, because it is
jumping like how it was in themanga too, though.
But you then you then wait solong.
After something like thathappens, deku then finally comes
in.
So it's like now we have toshow more points with Deku in
this bit, because this is wherewe was drawing up how it was

(01:03:00):
done, addressing itrealistically, had to force
something like that to evenexist.
So, yeah, how it was done, addressing it, yeah,
realistically, it had to forcesomething like that to even
exist or even be a thing.
Realistically, it would have tolike attend to that much sooner
than a later type thing.

Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
Yeah, so there's definitely some justifications
as to why people may not behappy with the ending.
Personally, holisticallylooking at it, I think the
trajectory of the story was onpoint yeah, I think it did the
story yeah it.
It got home.
How it was executed, the waythere the bakugou thing may not
have been the best.
I, I don't, I don't love it I'mnot hung up on it, honestly

(01:03:38):
yeah, it's not.
It didn't ruin the ending for me, but I don't love it either.
Um, I really do like the ending, though, the way things ended
with how the deku started outworkless, gained a quirk not of
his own, optimize the quirk evenbeyond reasoning, even to the

(01:04:01):
point where even the people whothe quirks belong to were like
yo.
The way you use quirks it'slike you're worshiping the quirk
.
It's not like the power issomething for you to, it's not
just lost yeah, like everyaspect he sees values in it
exactly and it's not like uh onefor all's quirks were
individually overpowered.

(01:04:22):
Obviously the stockpiling madeit overpowered, but as
individual quirks they're verylike flawed.
But he picked every aspect ofevery quirk up and used it to
cover the flaws of the otherquirks, to make sure that he was
like peak efficiency.
But his body wasn't all mylevel body, his, his uh age

(01:04:46):
wasn't all my age when all mightfought one for all.

Speaker 1 (01:04:48):
Imagine if he had it, if imagine if he continued to
still have it but he had likeall the time, like them all,
like how all might had time toat least have all from one train
up and do all that stuff.
If deku had, even just becausethis all has happened in like
what in his first year well, no,uh, second year.

Speaker 3 (01:05:08):
Well, they didn't have the ceremony to switch over
, but technically they wouldhave been second years if school
was continuing, yeah, yeah.
So now at the end, where itended in, uh, real time in the
story, it was able after the war, that's when they had the
ceremonies to transition thesecond year.
So technically they should havebeen second years, but there
was no school.

Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
So no, but still doing a damn good job honestly
he was mastering not just onequirk, that you thought was
literally just one quirk, butended up being like four or five
other different ones exactlyexactly he really Exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
He really was like a.
He was a very versatile maincharacter, like really one of
those people where intelligencewasn't like just something.
You say, oh yeah, no, he was areally smart character.
No, he like there was never apoint where he, like didn't
adapt to a fight, and that wasreally cool to see from Deku and

(01:06:04):
for that to come up in thefinal fight.
So many times figuring out howto use his quirk to counter uh
all for one achieve that goal, bro, he did the damn thing when
he started breaking down, had totoss quirks out, and the way he
used black whip around his bodyto afford to fight.
Bro deku was just builtdifferent, bro.

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
He was just built different, it's gonna be nice
when they finally animate it.

Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
Yup, and stuff like that is an example of why we
think Horikoshi should do likehorror man, cause those, those
panels were crazy, absolutelycrazy.
It really is like an excitingend to the story.

Speaker 1 (01:06:39):
Like I said, I think it, I think it did good.
It's not like the 100% bestending, and there's also some
things that I feel, too, that Iwould rather wish or had hope
for differently, but ultimately, all in all, it was all right.

Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
There were some show don't tell things that I wish I
had been shown and not told, like the stuff about Bakugou and
Shoto, how they wereprogressing through the ranks
and how their ranks related toeach other.
Yeah, bakugou is up there, buthis like stuff like that.
Show me, show me.

Speaker 1 (01:07:17):
Yeah, I want you to show me.

Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
I hope that I had wished for just more just a
little bit more of this going onwith this.

Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
I want to see everybody striving, doing their
thing A little bit moreinformation.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
Exactly.
I really love the very lastpart where it's like the end and
then all my face is like bangjust pops in.
It's like, ah, you thought, andthen he shows you everything
else that was really crack, butalso show me the soup.
I want to see the soup, whichis why I want to follow up.
Even if it's not like you know,it'll be crack a follow up movie
I think a follow-up movie mightbe nice follow-up movie where

(01:07:53):
they're all adults and they havelike one last big like battle
they have to go I think thatwould be nice.

Speaker 1 (01:07:59):
I don't know if they would do such a thing, because I
think if I'm seeing like a myhero movie because I'm pretty
sure like what, this one thatthey got going on right now,
that's, I think, should becoming out in a couple of weeks
or something like that um, we'reobviously going to get another
one from this, like this isn'tgoing to be the end.
We're going to get anothermovie, but damn, a movie where

(01:08:26):
they're a bit older.

Speaker 3 (01:08:27):
It would be cool.
It would be nice, it would bereally cool.
Plus I low-key want to seesomebody just really geek out
over Deku.
I thought the way theyrecreated the ending scene to
create that dichotomy with theway he met all might and all
might decided to give him thequirk he met uh crap, what's his

(01:08:48):
name?
Who the?
Plates on his head, yeah, sothe way he met him and how that
was really cool.
I did enjoy, I did a little bitof homage yeah, man it.
It hit all the emotional notes I.
I just really do wish it hadlike an extra chapter too.
Yeah.
I'd have loved to seen how someof the people grow up Like
Mirio.
Mirio is one of my favorites.

(01:09:09):
I'd have loved to see him asthe number one hero.
What his new outfit look like?
Yeah.
Speaking of new outfits, ShinzoShinzo looks so cool.

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
I want to see the new drip, so cool, so cool, so cool
bro.
Give me art pages of them withtheir new drips on.

Speaker 3 (01:09:25):
That would be fire, bro.
That would actually be fire, like a data book yeah, End of
story data.
That would actually be a funway to give all the information
that we didn't get out of themarket.

Speaker 1 (01:09:36):
That would actually be.
Yeah, yeah, like a data bookCould be just a little bit of
something Damn.

Speaker 3 (01:09:43):
My Hero Academia.
What a show, what a show.

Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
Ten long years.

Speaker 3 (01:09:52):
Thank you, horikoshi.
It was very good, very, verygood.
Alright, so time to wrap it up.
So the question of the episode.
That's how we're gonna do thatthis one this one's gonna be
more similar to the one fromlast time was a little bit more

(01:10:14):
wordy, so just bear with me.
What I want to know is the bestmoment in manga?
That when you watched it, youwere like, when you watched it,
when you read it, you were like,oh yeah, can't wait to see that
animated.
And then when it animated, youwere like, oh yeah, that was
everything.

(01:10:34):
That was everything I expected.
So that might be.
I feel like this is going to bedominated by more recent stuff,
but what's that?
One perfect manga panel toanime scene moment for you Just
