Zayne Parekh had himself an excellent showing at the 2026 World Juniors setting a new all time record for points by a dman for team Canada in a single tournament. HOWEVER, this was for some God forsaken reason over shadowed by a bunch of media and team induced BS. We're breaking down what we saw from ZP19 and Cole Reschny in Canada's bronze medal effort and obviously talking about the absolute clown show coming from the media regar...
The Flames are on a little heater here again and it's putting the tank in jeopardy...today we're breaking down the imperative of trading the likes of Nazem Kadri and Blake Coleman and getting up to date on Rasmus Andersson trade rumors.
And of course our boy ZP19 is locked in at the World Jr's so far.

We're still slogging away! As the season keeps on rolling the momentum of the tank has slowed slightly and, while the Flames still find themselves in a good spot in Mission: Mckenna, some trades would really go a long way in securing that top pick. We're talking tank and how the Flames need to get their heads out of the past. All we want for Christmas is a nice big trade.
Merry Christmas, boys! (Or happy Festivus for those that...
The Flames are doing Flames things again...right when we thought the tank was self sustaining...the boys go on a 6-3-1 run. Old Don Maloney found a way to top his viral 'rebiggle' TV hit that had everyone up in arms in a two part interview with Eric Francis this week. Not only did the Flames fearless leader walk back any of his rambling statements - he dumped a tank of gasoline on them and dug his heels in even harder! We're breaking down Maloney's delusional errr I mean defiant sit down with Francis.

It seems like the tank is truly here. The Flames not only went the whole week without a W...they almost went the whole week without even scoring! After getting embarrassed by Connor Bedard (first overall pick btw) and the Hawks, blanked the Wild, the Flames are well on their way to Mission: Mckenna after winning (losing?) the Tank Bowl vs the Blues.
The tank is here. And it's immaculate (besides Ryan Huska's nonsense).

The Flames have been continuing their tanking ways in the first month of the season and, while this is all well and good, the topic of Zayne Parekh's usage and development remains a sticking point. Spoiler alert: we have a hot take on the matter (that really shouldn't be all that hot).

The Flames are off to their worst start in franchise history and even many who have resisted the tank are jumping on board. We're breaking down the reports on the future of the team and the Nazem Kadri trade rumours ahead of the Flames match with our old friend Boston Pizza Jr tonight.

Dread it, run from it…the tank arrives. The Flames are off to a historically bad start and, while it’s been tough to watch, it’s not necessarily the worst thing in the world. We’re breaking it down.

It's not a week into the season and we have already witnessed some classic Flames hockey. We're breaking down the opening three games including improbable comeback bitch slap of the Oilers (on the back of Dustin Wolf), a tire fire vs Vancouver, and the old 'getting goalied and beat by St.Louis' show.
Have a great week, boys.

The 2025-26 NHL season is upon us. Matvei Gridin and Zayne Parekh have made the big club BUT based on line rushes in practice we'll be seeing the formidable defender Jake Bean in lieu of the best blueline prospect in the league. Should be a fun year!

We're drudging through the worst time of year and, if not for Matvei Gridin's strong performance, we might not make it!
Can we get this show on the road?

We couldn't help ourselves but get into the McDavid drama, boys (we live for this!). Plus, as camp gets underway, Conny is keeping busy locking up Mikael Backlund to a two year extension that will keep the Flames captain in the city for at least the next three years.
We’re breaking down how important Backlund is the to the retooling Flames and how Conroy’’s top down leadership (hopefully) has the Flames on the right track. ...
