Hello all! This week we will continue to study Spiritual Principles and the work of the Holy Spirit. I am sharing this sermon with you as an extra study for the week. Be Blessed.
Then the captain, the king's right-hand man, responded to the man of God, "Look, [even if] the Lord were to make windows in heaven, could this really happen?" Elisha announced, "You will in fact see it with your own eyes, but you won't eat any of it."
A The royal officer's unbelief vv. 1-2a
B Elisha's prediction of relief v. 2b
C The lepers' decision vv. 3-5
D Yahweh's salvation v. 6
E The leper's deliverance vv. 7-10
F The fulfillment of Elisha's prediction vv. 11-15
G The royal officer's judgment vv. 16-20
Each character had a different view-or way they interact with the world.
1. Kitchen View: Only considering what “You” have done (planted)
2. Living room view: Looking for the judgment or opinion of others
3. Bathroom View: Seeing only part of the story: Not honoring God
4. Sun/Son room view (Christian View): Keeping God’s word in front of your eyes every day.
5. God’s View: to watch or look at attentively at the needs of His children because He loves us and cares for us! God’s Window let’s us know look and listen to God’s view of the situation and not our own:
