泰國衛生部長頌薩（Somsak Thepsuthin）於2025年6月24日宣布將大麻重新列為麻醉藥品，此消息也於隔天傍晚刊登在泰國皇家公報，法令也於26日宣布生效通過。該法令要求，民眾未來若有購買大麻的需求，應持有處方箋前往向有泰醫、西醫、中醫等醫事人員駐點的大麻店家購買。

泰國在2018年核准醫療用大麻，2022年將大麻除罪化。但 Zoe 說到，泰國對於大麻的產業化一直未有明確管制及規範，並未有普遍性規模的「成人用」或「娛樂用」大麻合法化。
泰國目前有一萬間合法商家，但沒有完善的法律規範，使未領有合法牌照的店家在泰國大街小巷林立，也出現違規種植的農場。這使消費者（包括來國際旅客）無從得知自己購買到的大麻食品是否在銷售及源頭端受到把關，包括重金屬及農藥的殘留問題。另外，泰國政府也無法從未申請牌照的商家及農場抽取稅金。
本集 Zoe 也通電話連線，在泰國的合法大麻業者「麻麻叔叔」詢問當地的狀況。「麻麻叔叔」表示新法的規範雖可能增加營運成本，但他相信新法能使泰國大麻有更全面的把關。
