The Bible tells us that God disciplines those he loves. Do we stop to think that when we are on the receiving end of His discipline that He actually loves us, therefore He is teaching us through discipline? Our teacher, Jesus, endured punishment during His time on earth and He gives us examples and lays out a path for us to endure the tests and trials we face while running the race of faith. The question is, will we follow, so that we can reach the finish line which is eternity with Him.
