As a mild/moderate special education teacher, I talk about how the majority of learning disabilities, I work with are not visually apparent. I also talk about how people with disabilities, hide their disabilities in order to fit in and not have to justify their disability. I also talk about destigmatize mental health care and how people experiencing a mental health episode are treated with violence by the hands of law enforcement instead of care.
