Welcome to this week’s Indie Artist Music Hustle with Blonde Intelligence. I am your host, Ms. Roni and I always seek to give you exquisite cranial repertoire. Have you ever noticed how quickly we rush to criticize those who find success? The strange phenomenon of creator-on-creator criticism has become increasingly prevalent in online spaces, and this week we're unpacking exactly what's behind it.

The spotlight falls on Tisa Tells, a content creator whose meteoric rise has culminated in mainstream media recognition during the Sean Diddy Combs trial coverage. What makes her story fascinating isn't just the success, but the backlash it's generated from fellow creators. While audiences clearly connect with her authentic storytelling style, relatable personality, and engaging delivery, some YouTube personalities have devoted entire segments to criticizing her – claiming audiences are "tired" of her content despite evidence to the contrary.

This pattern reveals something profound about creative communities online. The competitive YouTube landscape breeds both inspiration and insecurity, pushing some creators toward innovation while others resort to criticism as a content strategy. As we explore in this episode, true success isn't measured by platform metrics alone but through genuine audience connection. When creators focus on tearing others down instead of elevating their own work, they're often revealing more about their insecurities than providing valuable commentary.

Whether you're a content creator yourself or simply interested in the psychology behind online communities, this exploration of success, jealousy, and authenticity offers valuable perspective on navigating creative spaces. Remember – as we conclude – if someone is shining in their creative endeavors, the healthiest response is to let them shine and perhaps use that light to illuminate your own path forward rather than attempting to dim theirs.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Welcome to this week's Indie Artist Music Hustle
with Juan and Pelican.
I'm your host, ms Ronnie, whereI always seek to give you
exquisite cranial repertoire.
This week is so much that hashappened.
There's so much that I couldtalk about, but I think I want
to keep it kind of low this weekand from my list of things that

(00:51):
I wanted to talk about, onething stood out to me was I saw
some other YouTube contentcreators making content about
Tisa Tales and some had, I wouldsay, some slightly derogatory
things to say, like people aretired of her and all of this,

(01:14):
and I like watching Tisa Tales.
She's one of the people that Igo to to try to get, I would say
, the most accurate information.
She do spice up how she tell astory and I think that is one of
the things that make peoplegravitate towards her.
So my question is why otherYouTube content creators hating

(01:36):
on Tisa Tells?
Tisa Tells has recently achievedremarkable milestones in her
YouTube on her YouTube, including being featured on
major syndicated television forher coverage of the Sean Diddy
Combs trial.
This achievement places heramong the select group of
influential creators who havetransformed the platform into a

(01:59):
lucrative career career.
The significance of reachingthis milestone cannot be
understated, as it reflects notonly her dedication but also her
ability to resonate with a wideaudience, and that's what I was
saying about the way that shetells a story.
Chisa's relatable content andher humorous personality has

(02:23):
played a crucial role in hersuccess.
She fosters a sense ofauthenticity that resonates with
her audience.
Each video she uploads garnersan impressive number of views,
and this consistent engagementhighlights her ability to
maintain viewer interest andadapt to changing trends within
the platform.
One of the things that, I guess, keep me looking.

(02:48):
I feel like tisa is aprotective person.
She she prays, she believes inthe esoteric, she seems like to
me consent when certain peopledon't need to be around her, and
she'll also check you too.
So don't think that she's likea pushover, because I have been

(03:09):
watching her live, that she hasbeen given from the courthouse
and I started watching herbefore then.
So all the milestones thatshe's reaching I've been seeing
it has been fast-paced.
The impact of Tisa's successbeyond her individual channel
has created a ripple effectwithin the YouTube community.
Other content creators may feela mix of admiration and

(03:33):
jealousy towards her achievement.
This duality stems from thechallenges faced by many
YouTubers striving to gaintraction in a highly competitive
landscape.
Tisa's rapid rise to fame servesas a reminder of the disparity
in audience engagement andmonetization opportunities among
creators.
And in some sense, you knowYouTube have tried to make it

(03:56):
where you know if you upload somany shorts and it's a lot of
work and I'm just being honest,I did not put the time into
YouTube.
I had an issue with YouTubewhen I was um, using a
distributor by idea one time Idon't know if that's the correct
name of, but that's what I'llcall it by dia video, whatever

(04:19):
you want to call it.
But I had to go back and readtheir fine print and it was
saying something about that.
They can release your contentif they want because you put it
on their platform.
I think that it should be aclass action law, so to get them
soon.
But I had a issue with um themcopyrighting.

(04:42):
Copyright strikes against mebecause you're using my content
and I don't even have an accountwith you anymore.
But that's for a whole notherstory.
I want to talk about that when Italk about the Knox Hill
situation with uh UMG uh puttingstrikes on him, because that
was one of the other things thatI was going to talk about the

(05:04):
reaction community, but jealousycan lead to feelings of
insecurity for other youtubers, prompting them to either elevate
their content quality orrethink their strategies.
And I don't know if one ofthose strategies that they have
been rethinking is to do a wholeshow on other YouTubers,

(05:25):
because I've seen it done overand over again.
It's another guy that I watchand this he's totally different
from entertainment, but it'sscar in the woods and I've found
content creators making videosabout him, and it seems that in
the YouTube community there area lot of creators that get
jealous of others, and to me,you don't build success by how

(05:50):
many views you get on oneplatform.
I think it's the combination ofall and how people respond to
you, and your success may be ahundred subscribers, but they
might be loyal subscribers andpeople who's going to buy your
merchandise and, yes, it'sbetter to have bigger numbers in
that way, but I think that youshould also still go about it

(06:12):
with integrity, and I think thatTisa does that, and I think
that some content creators havebeen jealous of how fast she has
elevated.
This competitive environment canbe both a source of motivation
and pressure.
For some, it may inspireinnovation and creativity,

(06:32):
pushing them to explore newideas and formats that can
enhance their own channel.
The pressure to keep up withsuccessful peers like tisa can
be daunting for emergingcreators, and not just emerging
creators, because some of theseum um shows that I've seen on
youtube where they were talkingabout her to me, like I said,

(06:54):
come from a sense of hating andbeing jealous, and not just from
emerging artists.
It's like people who've beenout there and feel like they
haven't made it as fast as she,as she has.
I mean, you have to alsounderstand the content.
Tisa is a pretty girl, so ofcourse, I think that she would

(07:15):
draw in the men who like to beon there, and then she's funny,
so that's like an all-around.
And then the things that shetalked about, it was like come
in here, close the door, shutthe door tattletales, let me
tell you.
And not saying that she'sperfect, because sometimes she
stumbled over her words andsometimes she may get something
wrong or when she offered herthe relatability of her, I think

(07:38):
that her elevating so fast tofoster a culture of
collaboration and learningwithin the YouTube community,
creators may share tips, strategies and insights with one

(08:00):
another, promoting a sense ofcamaraderie that ultimately
benefits the platform as a whole.
And you used to see that allthe time I did anyway when
people would have like panelsand everything that's like one
of the biggest panels was allabout the teeth.
And I think that because nosyhoe ass kept harassing this lady

(08:22):
, trying to find out who she wasand ganging people up to try to
dox her and all this kind ofstuff and making hit lists and
just all kinds of ignorant shit.
But she had a very successfulplatform where she used panels.
It was some um, some, some, some discrepancies on pay and

(08:48):
all this everything.
But she moves her platformelsewhere and, from my
understanding, is stillsuccessful because your loyal
followers will follow you.
In conclusion, tisa tellsaccomplishments highlight the
complexities of success onyoutube.
While her achievements elevateher status, they also serve as a
catalyst for change within acommunity.

(09:10):
The ongoing challenge ofstanding out amidst fierce
competition encourages creatorsto innovate, ultimately
enriching the content availableto viewers.
So that's all I have for youand I want to just leave you
with.
If a content creator issuccessful and you don't like
them, it is not your duty tofind other people that don't

(09:34):
like them.
That is called trauma bondingand you are coming off as a
hater.
So if a person is shining, letthem shine.
Anyway, that's all I have foryou this week.
I may be back with somethingelse.
I want everybody to enjoy their4th of July, but anyway, you
