Have you ever taken a road trip that turned into something far more mystical than you could have imagined? Join my sister and me as we recount our recent journey to Iowa, a trip that quickly turned into an adventure cloaked in mystery when an unexpected detour led us down an unfamiliar road. Despite having driven the route countless times, this diversion seemed to have a purpose of its own, guiding us through eerie small towns and ultimately to my brother's brewery in Dubuque. This experience left us pondering the significance of such unplanned moments and the hidden messages they might hold.

But the surprises didn't end there. Picture a massive airplane, frozen in the sky, defying the laws of physics—an unusual sight that sparked introspection and gratitude for life's unpredictable milestones. As December unfolds, we find joy in simple pleasures, like invigorating walks along the Mississippi River with four adventurous dogs, even as the bone-chilling winds try to deter us. Each day, filled with unexpected beauty and laughter, reminds us to cherish the moments we share and the adventures yet to come. Embrace the magic and mystery of the journey, and let's welcome the holiday season with open hearts and renewed spirits.

If you are ever in Dubuque, Iowa, feel free to stop by 7Hills Brew Pub, 11th St.  Enjoy the  ambience, amazing food and delicious craft beer!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to another episode of Infinite Love
with Kate.
Well, today's episode, well, the title is what in the Shift
has Transpired and, honestly, itgoes along with the title,
because I'm not even sure myexplanation of story time will

(00:20):
do justice of the things notonly myself but my sister
experienced on our journey toand from Iowa over the weekend
for the holidays.
But before I begin, hello.
I hope everyone is doing well.
I hope that you've enjoyedfamily time or, if you're not,

(00:45):
one to celebrate Thanksgiving, Ihope you just enjoyed time with
yourself or with your family, giving thanks and gratitude for
what you have in life.
I know I did, extremelygrateful for the opportunity to
go see my brother and mysister-in-law and their

(01:06):
beautiful children, along withmy sister and her beautiful
children and my parents.
It was really, really nice.
I'm even supporting the logo.
My brother owns a brewery inIowa Dubuque, iowa so I'll give
a little shout out to SevenHills Brew Pub.
If you're ever in the area, govisit.

(01:26):
Great food, great beverages, even though I don't drink, but I
had them before way in the pastand they're pretty tasty if you
like craft beer or creativecocktails.
But anyways, this isn't eventhe point of the story.
So you ready for this?
This is basically going to takeyou on a wild ride of

(01:48):
spirituality and what in theshifts have transpired, because
on our way back we even tried tofigure it all out and we have
no answers, none whatsoever.
So here we go.
I like how I said, here we go,I'm taking you along, so you're

(02:09):
with me, buckle in, we're ready.
So we're driving.
It's a long journey, in my mindat least, to Iowa, and, to say
the least, it's not exciting.
In the beginning.
Very same old, same old, sameviews, small towns, not much to
look at, and then it gets alittle bit windy.
You go into the bluffs and Ithink I'm showing my age because

(02:32):
I was getting a little queasysometimes.
Or maybe that's my sister'sdriving, we'll never know, but
we were sharing our laughs.
And then I was putzing aroundon my phone playing music.
And then I was putzing aroundon my phone playing music,
staring out the window, daydreaming, as always, or
getting licked and attacked bymy sister's adorable golden

(02:54):
retrievers.
But anyways, as we were driving, I had happened to look down
for something and I hear mysister say when are we?
Which is weird because we'vedriven this road 5,462 times.
My brother has gone touniversity in Dubuque so we

(03:18):
visited him over the years backand forth.
Then he got married, he hadchildren, opened the breweries,
several.
I'm telling you, we know theseroads, you don't get lost.
You can't just leave a road.
You'd have to truly make a hugestop off of a highway.

(03:39):
Or in the beginning, whenyou're on Route 20, there's a
few stoplights randomly and thatallows you to, you know, exit
and maybe hit up a restaurant orget a kiss, otherwise you are
not getting off that smallhighway pretty fast.
It's windy and there's nosubtle, let's fear, to the right

(03:59):
, you're off.
So we're driving and driving, and then she says says that, she
says where are we?
And I thought, okay, well, maybe we would have gotten a
detour closer to Galena when youget closer to Dubuque, but we
were nowhere near this yet.
I just in my head I'm thinkingwe've been on the road for a

(04:21):
while, but we haven't been onthe road that long, so of course
she's like Google it.
We didn't have my brother's newaddress yet and we kind of made
a game out of it.
I sent a message to my mom, mysister-in-law, my dad and my
brother and then 45 minutes hadgone by and I told her.
I'm like who do you think isgoing to respond first?
I'm like let's make a bet, butanyways, we figured well we can

(04:45):
always put in the breweryaddress.
So we did and there it pops up.
We are on a small road parallelto the highway, about maybe 20
to 30 miles away from 20, whichis what we were on With no
explanation.

(05:06):
Neither of us can explain how wejust managed to kind of run
further north, as if heading toWisconsin instead.
And we're just looking at eachother.
And I'm quiet now because in mymind my soul knew there was a
shift, but my human self waslike we need to solve this and

(05:33):
you can't do both.
But I was really really quietand really determined to figure
out the explanation.
How do you explain the factthat she had looked down, looked
up and noticed?
I had looked down, hadn't evennoticed yet, but until she said
something where are we?

(05:53):
Where have we just transmutedourselves to?
Where have we just shifted andplaced ourselves?
And why this road?
And there were some small townsthat felt a little
energetically.
I would say I was taking a bath.
The vibes were very eerie, butthere was purpose to these roads

(06:18):
and I'm not sure what yet, atleast it was for a reason.
Well, anyway.
So it took us kind of throughWisconsin all the way back and
we got to cross the MississippiRiver, ride over a small island
in the middle of Mississippi, and then we were on 11th Street
which, ironically, is straightthere facing my brother's

(06:40):
brewery.
Normally if we come we comefrom another bridge and then you
just have to pass the main road.
You can see it off the mainroad, but this one took us
straight past Seven HillsBrewery Pub, which was just cute
in a way and like different, Idon't know.

(07:01):
I just I kind of smiled andgiggled to myself because I was
like what else can we do?
I don't even understand whatthe purpose is quite yet, but
there is a greater purpose andthat's the key.
Don't hold tightly on trying tofigure it out.
And I know that my little humanself was like I'm going to
solve this.
Yeah, no, I sat there for awhile and then, luckily, I got

(07:23):
distracted by food there'salways food.
So we get to my brother's placeand we explain to everyone,
like, what happened and we'relike huh, anyway.
So the next two days wereexciting.
I mean, the kids had fun.
They were all hanging out.
I was exhausted.
I snuggled next to my sister.
It kind of felt like theGriswolds Christmas vacation.

(07:44):
You know, we're all trying tofind beds to sleep in, we're
kind of taking over their kids'beds, and so my sister and I
snuggled, but two goldenretrievers laying on top of you
is not what I call the bestadventure.
I mean, hey, we made the mostof it.

(08:05):
I had my other nephew, my oldernephew, making fun of me.
He's like TJ, you're snoring.
I was like.
I don't know if I was snoringor if I was just gasping for my
breath because I had an 80-pounddog laying on top of me.
But at some point I woke up andI sat up trying to shift and
move my little, my body into atight little spot where I could

(08:27):
find maybe some reprieve, somecomfort.
And I, I guess I moved so fastthat I had whacked my forehead
off the bunk bed railing and Ipretty much saw birds and fell
right back asleep.
I woke up the next morningtelling my sister that I was
like I don't care, it's 530 inthe morning.
I'm like I'm up, I'm going to.
Woke up the next morningtelling my sister that I was

(08:48):
like I don't care, it's 530 inthe morning, I'm like I'm up,
I'm going to get up and I'mgoing to go stretch, because I
literally just wanted my body toexperience movement.
So later on we end up going outto my brother's restaurant, the
Burpub, and that was cute, thewhole energy.
I love the vibe.
I've always loved the vibe ofthat place and I'm so proud of

(09:08):
my brother and sister-in-law forwhat they do, the commitment,
the love they pour back into thecommunity.
It's amazing.
It's amazing to see how far mybrother has come and I'm very
proud of him for everything thathe does for his community, for
his family.
Oh, but before I even go on tothat, so my sister-in-law love
her.

(09:28):
We always tell my brother if wehad to choose, it might be the
sister-in-law that gets picked.
Just saying she's pretty awesome, she works at a health spa, she
does Reiki and she invited usfor a foot cleansing.
Okay, I don't know.
I've never experienced this.

(09:48):
In my mind I'm thinking, oh, isthis where you put your feet in
the little minnows you know, gravitate towards them?
She's like no, but that's acool experience.
I said she's like no, youbasically put your feet, you
know, in a bucket of water andit pulls all your toxins out and
you can see the colors as theychange.
I'm like, oh, that's prettygross Totally.

(10:10):
See the colors as they change.
I'm like, oh, that's prettygross Totally.
I was like cleanse my rootchakras please.
So she kind of, you know, treatsus to this little special
occasion and my sister and I arejust sitting there taking
pictures as these stages aregoing by and I'm like I was
pretty impressed.
Mine didn't change color for alittle bit and I look over at my
sister's and it looked like anoil spill.

(10:31):
So I looked at her and said, girl, you need some cleansing.
But then mine, you know, turnedtoxic and I was just amazed, I,
you know.
And then I drank my littlepositivity and then she asked if
we wanted the vitamin B shot.
So we said, why not?
I mean, we were kind of justspoiled thanks to her kindness

(10:56):
and it was really cool to seewhere she worked I mean I'm
talking Zen and we got to tourand we got upstairs to her
little Reiki area Sound bowlsand the glass windows and just
overlooking this very small, what would you say?
It's getting built progressively, so it's a tiny town, but you

(11:17):
could tell it's growing.
It was just the coolest thing, the scenery, I mean.
Obviously I love being in thisbig city.
However, put me in a smallerarea, ever put me in a smaller
area.
Dense wood, give me the water, the trees I am sad, you don't

(11:39):
need you know, I can surviveanywhere.
I just that's usually my vibeand, like I said, I mean I'm
higher energy so I luckily I canhandle the populated areas, but
I do need my breaks.
So this was pretty cool, prettycool to be in that vibe.
So, anyways, so we get back andthen we go out to dinner and
that was a lot of fun and myyoungest, maxie, my nephew what

(12:01):
a dick.
This kid could be a comedian.
I don't even know the thingsthat come out of that little
man's mouth and the dimples togo with it, like he could commit
a crime, and I probably wouldstill just want to give him a
hug because he's so darn cuteand he's just, he has so much to
say about life and it's just sounique and profound, yet

(12:24):
hilarious.
So that's a big shout out, bigshout out to the family this
weekend.
So here's where part two comesalong with the shift, we're
driving home and we arebasically on a mission to figure
out how this happened.
So we've been on the road for awhile and it almost seemed like

(12:45):
we were going really fast.
There was no traffic, nobodywas headed that way, yet time
was going really fast.
There was no traffic, nobodywas headed that way, yet time
was going really slow.
It usually takes about threehours, anywhere between three
hours and three and a half hours, to get there.
So I was on my phone, I had myearbuds, so I was, I had all the
proper things with me.
This time On the way there, Ididn't have my earbuds, I didn't

(13:07):
have my mask, so I was like allready and set to.
You know, take a nap if Ineeded to, or just put on my
music, so I didn't have tolisten, because I don't.
If my sister had her radio on,I didn't want to interrupt it by
having my phone on.
So I like to be polite likethat.
So I had my earbuds in and Iwas listening to music, or,

(13:30):
obviously, you know, jammingthrough the TikTok, depending on
whether or not my Wi-Fi went towork throughout the bluffs, and
we're driving and we're lookingat each other and we're like
this makes no sense how we wereshifted.
It makes no sense.
There literally was absolutelyno way.

(13:53):
So we have the proof in thepudding that we definitely
definitely were moved from onehighway to another that ran
parallel but ran north, and I,you know, in my mind I hear
north node.
So of course, you know, I'm onthe TikTok side of things and
I'm looking up these stories ofother people that this has

(14:15):
happened to, and the most recentones were, you know, of a woman
and then a guy who was shiftedto his small town neighborhood
that he, you know, he grew up in.
He was crying while he wastelling it because it made no
sense where he was driving wasnowhere near this small town
that he grew up in, and then hejust happened to look down, look

(14:38):
up and poof.
Same thing with a woman Lookdown, look up, poof.
So it was just wild to me thatthis happened to us and luckily
she was there and she and mysister was, and I was there for
her to witness this, like itwasn't just one of us to then,
you know, tell anyone like, hey, this happened, and be like oh,

(14:59):
yeah, okay, where it's like, no,we both can't quite understand
it.
There's no explanation as towhy this has happened.
So, as we're driving and we'remaking all of these realizations
, now we're getting closer toRockford Illinois, if you know.
You know that means that we aregetting closer to going to

(15:23):
another highway, you know, whichmeans that we're halfway home.
I always like to look at mydestinations with little
milestones of like markers, like, oh, this means we're here, or
oh, this means we only have 20minutes.
That's just how I survive life.
And all of a sudden, my sisterpoints out there's a plane and

(15:44):
that plane looks huge.
And you know, of course I lookup.
And, by the way, I wasstruggling already because I am
five foot, I am one of thoseamazing little people that sits
in a car and when you're leavingat the wrong time and by wrong
time I mean the sun rising, sunsetting and you're stuck at that

(16:06):
level, that high level ofsunlight, direct sunlight in
your eyes, where the visor doesnothing.
I literally threw on my hoodand held it down because I was
so sick of holding my hand uplike this, and so, by that point
, I had my hood on, I justlooked silly and I'm looking
down.
And you know, she's like lookup.
And, of course, like I do it soquickly, I forget, like bam, I

(16:28):
do it so quickly, I forget, likebam, sunlight in the eyes, so I
finally see it.
I'm like whoa, whoa, whoa, likethis plane.
It felt like when you're closeto an airport I was just where
was I?
I'm trying to think of, like Ithink, LA, I think I've seen it
in LA where if you stand in acertain spot you can watch
planes, and I can't even thinkof where I was.

(16:49):
I don't know why.
I can't think of the name ofthe place, the island I was just
at last year, but you basicallycould stand on the beach and
watch this plane and they look.
I mean like you could justtouch it.
Obviously not, but but that'show surreal it is, because you
know you're further away and wedidn't even realize there was an
airport.
So there was an airport inRockford and I'm telling you

(17:12):
again, in the 5,462 times thatwe've traveled back and forth to
Iowa, we've never, ever, everwitnessed a plane.
And if there was one, it wasway up, that it was so small,
but this was so big.
So we're watching this planecoming at us because my sister
says something weird like God, Ihope they don't have to land on

(17:33):
the highway, because it justdidn't make sense, like, why are
we seeing this plane coming atus?
Why is it so freaking big?
If I had 20-20, I probablycould see in the window who was
sitting in the planes, but Idon't.
So we both kind of she'sdriving and I don't know how she

(17:53):
followed it, but we're bothkind of like eyeballing it and
looking to the right.
And I look out the right sideof my window and I'm like Erin
before I can say anythingbecause in my head I'm thinking
did time just stop?
Is that plane stuck in midair?
Because I know we're moving, Iknow they're moving, we

(18:16):
literally watched how fast theymoved, they were flying and all
of a sudden we're looking andit's not moving.
Shit you not, it's not moving.
And before I could even spit itout again, my sister's like is
that plane stuck?
And in my mind it's almost likesomeone pressed the remote

(18:36):
control and paused that planemidair.
And again now my mind is likeokay, this is heavy.
How are we both seeing this?
How are we both witnessing this?
I could not stop looking atthat plane.
It never moved until we finallygot out of sight.
Now, I've seen many planeswhile I'm driving and they still
, they still move.

(18:58):
While you're moving, they'removing.
So make it make sense.
Someone said something about theoptical illusion.
I said no, no, there's nooptical illusion.
There's can't.
You can't tell me there's anillusion in that one, because

(19:20):
I've I've stared at the sky longenough I've stared at, because
I've I've stared at the sky longenough.
I've stared at planes moving.
I've stared at planes whileI've been in moving objects
trains, cars, boats.
You see it, you see themovement, it makes sense and it
feels right.
This did not feel right becausemy mind could not make sense of
it.
It literally stopped.
Big plane, big plane, justmidair stopped and I just it's

(19:42):
heading towards Iowa, we'reheading towards Illinois, you
know, and I just looked at mysister just some kind of energy
moving out that way.
I don't know what that is, butthat's I don't know if it's a
portal, I don't.
I don't know what type of shiftthat was, I go, but it was
meant to be.
I go.
The fact that you and I,together, shared the same energy

(20:04):
, same energetic field of whatthe shift, as I like to call it.
Yeah, so these are my stories,I'm sticking to them and if you
could tell me otherwise unlessyou have something greater to
tell me, I would love to hear it.
Please feel free to message mein here on YouTube or go to my

(20:29):
platforms.
There is a little button thatsays message.
Leave a message.
I would love I always love tohear people's feedback Good, bad
, ugly, sad, all of it.
I'm open for it, I'm open toreceiving and I'm thankful.
I'm thankful you're here tolisten to this chaos of what I

(20:50):
call the last couple days.
But yeah, it's the first of themonth, happy December 1st.
I woke up feeling like amillion bucks.
However, I got a new pillow, and this pillow is, thanks to my
sister-in-law, just allowing meto sleep face down again on my
stomach.
You can tell I'm healingbecause I forgot to tell you.

(21:12):
It was like I've been wanting toget out, even though it's
flippity-dippity cold out.
I've been wanting to get out towalk, and especially after a
big meal.
You know, I mean thatThanksgiving meal was huge, or
it's just.
I don't have an off button andI love food.
Could be that too.
I guess Honability, fine.
But I told my brother.

(21:33):
I said can we go for a walk?
He said sure, so we had dinnerearly, so it was still light out
and I think the sun was setting.
So we took his dog yeah, threedogs, three golden retrievers
and he took me up and down.
Well, not realizing this waslike a hilly area.

(21:55):
Luckily we weren't out too long, we were at the dog park, but
it was very up and down inclineand it did a good number on my
surgical areas.
I definitely felt it when I gotback and I mean, I have the
green light to go work out andI've been wanting to work out.
Of course this is when theweather gets really crazy, but

(22:15):
I've been desiring to just kindof get out and run.
I haven't quite ran yet.
I was happy enough to get outand do this walk and I got back
and I actually had to have themstop twice because I was like oh
, one, I'm out of breath.
Two, that was a lot of food Iate.
And three, definitely a feelingon my scar line.
So we got back and I wasgrateful.

(22:37):
I did a lot of stretching afterthat and then I was still
hungry because, god forbid, Iwork out and walk off some of
that weight I ate.
So of course I was hungry.
I'm a champion of food, just ifyou don't know.
But if you do know, you'renodding your head, smiling and
laughing at me because you're,you know, you know, you know.

(22:59):
But so the next morning we allwanted to go for a walk,
including my dad.
My brother had taken my dad out.
They went down earlier than wedid, so we went.
My brother's like do you wantto go over a mile?
Three miles.
Now we knew that we had a busyday because we knew we were
going to go get our feet detoxedand then we were going out to
eat.
Because we knew we were goingto go get our feet detoxed and
then we were going out to eat.
And I also was, I think, theonly person that looked up the

(23:21):
weather and noticed that it wasin the teens.
So I was like, what mile soundsgreat.
Everyone kind of looked likejust a mile.
Yeah, they were lucky becausehe took us to Mississippi River.
Now in the fall or late spring, this would be stunning, the most

(23:41):
beautiful walk.
So it's just one narrow strip, long strip, a mile long that you
walk, probably a half mile, half mile there, half mile back,
and you just walk and you'resurrounded by the river on both
sides, but we were alsosurrounded by very intense winds
and the cold from theMississippi River.

(24:01):
It was freezing.
We had my dad oh, I forgot.
So we had four dogs, so we hadmy dad's dog.
That's my best friend and evenshe was looking at me like no,
it's her dog, although I'mpretty sure she was ready to
jump into that icy, virginwinter rip and my dad was like
she's on her own.
My sister and I look at eachother like we would save you.

(24:24):
But we also said it would benice to put our feet in there.
We didn't do it, don't worry,it's just because I didn't want
to be.
Really I was already frozen, Ihad no lips, and so we got to
the end and it was really reallypretty, just, and it was really
really pretty, just the colors, the way the sun was reflecting,
that's a really cool vibe.
So then we got back and we didour whole foot cleansing,

(24:44):
detoxing, vitamin B shot, andthat's it.
That's my last two days, thepast two days.
Honestly, all this in two days.
It's been wild and I've loved it.
And I love that it's December1st and after this I get to
start putting out my Christmasdecorations, but I'm also going

(25:05):
to go back to work tomorrow.
It was nice having a whole weekoff, but I'm ready.
I'm ready for, you know, thenext couple weeks before we're
on our next Christmas break andI just, I just love it.
I love where life leads andit's funny Because I have no
idea where it will take me, butI feel like Every day is a new

(25:28):
blessing and I get to share itwith all of you.
So thank you For listening tothis Wild and crazy what the
shift has transpired episode.
Love to all of you and have anamazing day, take care.
