Following our intuition rather than external "shoulds" creates greater alignment, flow, and success, especially for those with unique neurocomplex and astrological configurations.

Taking a hiatus from content creation led to unexpected growth, ancestral insights, and clarity about working with practitioners who are experiencing post-awakening professional evolution.

In this episode, I touch upon:

• The danger of operating from "shoulds" rather than intuitive flow
• Four levels of consciousness: victim, by me, through me, and collective
• Scientific research on highly sensitive people and vantage sensitivity
• Connecting with nature led to profound spiritual experiences
• Discovering repeating astrological patterns across maternal ancestry
• Why practitioners with "alien patterns" need continuous evolution
• The importance of working with your design rather than against it
• Flow creates better results than force, even when it seems illogical

If you've been feeling the push-pull between following your intuitive breadcrumbs and conforming to conventional business wisdom, this episode offers validation and a path forward. For those with what I call "alien patterns" in their charts, or hard Pluto aspects, continuous evolution isn't optional; it's essential.

If you'd like to discover whether you have these significant astrological patterns, grab the free Chart Your Power kit in links below.

For practitioners who feel their work hasn't caught up with their personal evolution, the Clarity Lab helps you align your work with your evolved self.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi there, welcome back.
If you haven't noticed, Ihaven't been around for a little
while.
I took a little break fromrecording my podcast episodes
and there's quite a number ofreasons for that, so I'm going
to share a few of those reasonstoday, and I'm also going to
share with you why I didn'tlisten to my own advice and why

(00:23):
that pertains to why I needed totake some time off from
recording podcast episodes.
So at the beginning of theseason, I shared with you a
story about how I had gonethrough a breakthrough in 2024.
And, as I mentioned earlier inthe season, it ended up leading
me to dozens of PubMed rabbitholes looking at scientific

(00:48):
research, and it led me tositting down and collecting all
the years of scientific researchthat I've been collecting,
putting it all together and whatit meant for me now and for my
clients in terms of thescientific evidence that proved
why my work works the way thatit does.

(01:10):
And you know, at the beginningof the season I talked about
some details about being ahighly sensitive person, being
gifted, being neurodivergent orneurocomplex, and what the
science says about those of uswho are wired this way and how
we do.
It's not just a nice to have.

(01:49):
It's the thing that will unlockthat higher level of thriving
and flourishing that we areactually capable of when it
comes to accessing andleveraging vantage sensitivity.
And then, after I put a wholebunch of that scientific
research together to explainthings from a scientific point

(02:11):
of view, I ended up doing what Inow see as a pattern that I
commonly tend to do is, once Icome up with another level of
insight with the science, then Istart to lean into the other
side of things, the energeticside of things, the spiritual
side of things, because I valueboth and I believe that it's

(02:33):
both of them together thatcreate deeper insight and bigger
results.
And so you noticed in thepodcast and if you've been
following me on social media, one of the things that I started
talking about was the commonpatterns that I've been seeing
over the past few years in myastrology charts and my clients'
astrology charts, becausethere's some really important

(02:57):
deep and intense patterns in ourcharts that are showing up over
and over and over and overagain that are not considered
common in the general population, and so there's something to
this, and I put together aguidebook and some audio
trainings to help you understandif you do have these patterns
and what they mean in terms ofyour purpose, your leadership,

(03:21):
the direction that you're reallysupposed to be going in this
lifetime with your work, theimpact that you're really
supposed to be going in thislifetime with your work, the
impact that you're actually hereto be making, both for yourself
and for the collective.
And if you haven't listened tothe podcast episodes about that
or grabbed the guidebook in theChart your Power kit, you can
access that in the show notes.
It's free, and I've gotten lotsof feedback from people telling

(03:46):
me how helpful it was toidentify these patterns in their
charts.
Those people who are highlysensitive, deep thinking, driven
for more, driven for growth andevolution that the things that
I've shared about these patternshave explained so much about
their lives helped themunderstand themselves to a

(04:07):
degree where it's like it'sgiven them permission to be
themselves, because these arethe parts that either they
didn't have words for or thatthey didn't fully understand,
weren't giving themselves creditfor and didn't know that.
These are actually the thingsto leverage and lead with so

(04:27):
that they can actually be reallyenjoying what they do, really
enjoying living their lives andreally making that meaningful
impact that they know thatthey're here to make.
Leaning in on these aspects ofthemselves is one of the
important puzzle pieces thatwill enable you to do that and
access it more deeply, moreefficiently and more sustainably

(04:50):
than ever.
So as I was putting all thesepuzzle pieces together,
connecting all these dots, therecame a point around late winter
, after I had taken a hiatusfrom social media to take the
time to assimilate all thisinformation, some part of me was
telling me you need to go backonto social media, you need to

(05:11):
start posting again, you need tostart making podcasts again.
And there was another part ofme that was resistant, who was
saying you still need a littlebit more time.
There's still more to puttogether here.
However, the shoulds inside myhead won, and this is where I
did not take my own medicine.
I have a great podcast episodefrom 2024 that talks about how

(05:35):
to determine if whoever istalking is your intuition or
some protective part orsomething else, and I know this
and I know the parts within me,and I still didn't follow my own
advice, and I see now that thatshould voice that was telling
me you need to get back onthings.

(05:57):
You need to go start postingagain.
That was not my intuition, thatwas not my inner knowing, that
was a piece of me that wasoperating from shoulds, from
fear, from feeling like, if Idon't keep up with everybody
else, I'm going to fall behind, and something that I often say

(06:21):
when someone finds themselvesfalling back into old ways.
I had to ask myself so how'sthat working for you?
Not so well.
So, when I had taken my hiatusand I wasn't posting on social
media, I had an initial worrythat my income would dry up,
that people wouldn't show up inmy world because I wasn't

(06:41):
actively marketing, I wasn'tactively posting, I wasn't
actively involved in thecommunity.
And the opposite is true.
When I started to do my deepdives and following my passions
and following what was reallybringing me joy, income showed
up for me in ways I would havenever expected.
I was financially taken care ofduring that time, which, in

(07:05):
hindsight, makes no sense why Iwas shooting myself to go back
online to start posting again.
If that was the case, however,we are all human and sometimes
those shoulds win out.
So can you guess what happenedwhen I started forcing myself to

(07:25):
go back into posting, goingback online, forcing myself to
keep up with everybody elsebecause everyone else has gone
back to posting after theholidays.
You've taken long enough timeto get back into it.
You got to go.
Do do, do.
Guess what happened.
The opposite of what I wantedto go.
Do do, do, guess what happened.

(07:47):
The opposite of what I wanted.
All of a sudden, all the incomethat was coming out of the
woodwork stopped.
All of a sudden, everythingstarted to feel hard.
All of a sudden, it felt like Iwas banging my head against the
wall and wondering why thingsthat were working before all of
a sudden were no longer working.

(08:07):
And, of course, hindsight isalways 20-20.
It was because I was forcingmyself to should, I was not in
flow, and I can see that now.
So this is part of the lessonhere that for me to share with
you in this episode is theimportance of following your joy
, following your curiosity, following meaning and purpose.

(08:30):
And when you are in your flow, then that's when the things come
to you, instead of chasing themor forcing them or shooting
things to happen, because whenyou do those things, usually the
things that you're wanting tohappen won't work out the way

(08:50):
that you want them to or expect, and this is kind of like the
analogy that I've often used ofchasing the cat.
So the analogy goes like thisIf you want to pet a cat, what
happens?
If you try to chase it down topet it?
It's going to run away from you.
And what happens when you sitback and relax?

(09:12):
You're doing your thing.
That's when the cat is going tocome to you for attention.
You're not trying, you're notforcing.
The more chill you are, themore the cat is going to come to
you.
And as I say this, my cat rightnow is just jumping up on the
little cat bed that I have forher on my desk beside me.

(09:33):
Oh the irony.
So here I was, trying to forcethings to happen, shutting
myself back into doing.
Months prior I had registeredfor an upcoming course and the
course was delivered by abeautiful soul.
Her name is Doctora RosalesMeza.
She's a licensed therapist whoturned medicine woman when she
went back to her Inca lineage.

(09:55):
And this course that I took wasa course that was guiding us to
remember that our truth comeswhen we slow down.
She was guiding us to connectwith ourselves, connect with
Mother Earth and to connect withour ancestors, to remember a
different way of being, otherthan just doing that social

(10:18):
hegemonic narrative that so manyof us have bought into in push,
hustle and force culture thathas been highly rewarded and
highly prized right the morethat you do, the better you are.
And that narrative comes fromlevel two consciousness, by me
consciousness, and there's fourlevels of consciousness.

(10:40):
The first level ofconsciousness is to me
consciousness, or victimconsciousness, when we feel like
we don't have any power andeverything is happening to us.
And level two consciousness isimportant because it takes us
out of the victim consciousness, because everyone starts at
level one and the issue is is ifwe stay there long term,
ongoing, we all have momentswhere we are flick back into

(11:04):
level one consciousness and thelevel two consciousness helps
get us out of level one so we'renot stuck there.
And level two consciousness isby me consciousness, since this
is when we discover that ouractions can change our outcomes
and it empowers us to takepersonal responsibility, our

(11:27):
outcomes.
And it empowers us to takepersonal responsibility.
It empowers us to know that ifwe take action, that we can
impact our reality and ouroutcomes, and that's important.
And there's a limit to that, because any one of us only ever
has so much time, energy orfocus and so many people will
end up hitting a wall at somepoint where they have no more
time, no more energy, no morefocus.

(11:49):
Oftentimes this leads toburnout and, if you think about
it, this is the epitome ofhustle culture.
It's all about doing, doingmore, doing more when, in
reality, there's two more levelsof consciousness to access, and
oftentimes, when someone hitsburnout, that's usually when
they will recognize thatsomething's got to give.
I can't continue on this way,and if they choose to look more

(12:13):
deeply, they will start todiscover level three,
consciousness, which is throughme.
Through me consciousness islike being in flow state.
Instead of trying to paddleupstream against whitewater
rapids currents, you stop tryingto force yourself to go against
the current and allow thecurrent to move you.

(12:36):
You step into flow.
In Taoism, they refer to thisas wu-wei, which means
effortless action.
Not trying to paddle againstthe current doesn't mean that
you don't do anything at all.
It doesn't mean that you justlift your hands in the air and
go.
Well, I'm just going to thenrelax and see what happens.
It's about finding your ownpersonal flow, following your

(13:01):
own personal breadcrumbs, whichare the things that light you up
, following your curiosity, following your sense of meaning
and purpose and interest, thethings that you're passionate
about, and doing things in a waythat works for you, not just
trying to force yourself to dothings because that's just what

(13:24):
everybody else does, or that'sthe way it works, or that's the
way other people are doing it.
Flow state has been measured inthe scientific research.
Especially for those of us whoare highly sensitive or
neurocomplex, there's a coupleof things that we need to
establish in order to accessflow state, one of them being
having a sense of safety withinus.

(13:45):
If we don't feel safe, we'renot going to access flow, and
one of the reasons for that isbecause, in order to access flow
state, there's a certain partof the prefrontal cortex in our
brain that needs to quiet down, and this part of the brain is
highly active when we areoverthinking and, for those of

(14:07):
us who are highly sensitive, overthinking tends to be a
familiar coping behavior to tryto feel in control of things
that we don't feel in control of, in essence, to try to feel
safe.
So we overthink, we overanalyze, we over intellectualize, we
stay up in our heads, and I knowthat I have been guilty of this

(14:32):
so many times for so many yearsin my life.
And that's the thing so many ofus who are highly sensitive,
deep thinking, highly sensitive, deep thinking, driven,
purposeful people oftentimes ourintellect was the thing that we
were prized for, we were theones who could figure things out

(14:53):
, and that's what we becameknown for, praised for,
appreciated for Something where,if we identify with that part
of ourselves, it can bedifficult to let go of that part
of ourselves.
And if we do tend to overthinkwhich I have done for so many

(15:15):
years usually it's because wedon't feel safe within ourselves
for one reason or another andwe're trying to feel in control
of something that we don't feelin control of.
And the thing is is control isan illusion that we don't feel
in control of.
And the thing is, is control isan illusion, which I'll talk
about in another episode.
The point being, through all ofthis is many of us may struggle
to stay in level three flowstate through me consciousness

(15:38):
because of this overidentification with our
intellect, or because we havethis tendency to be up in our
heads or overthink oroveranalyze in order to try to
find some sense of safety, andthat prevents us from actually
experiencing what we want toexperience.

(16:00):
And what happened with me.
Late winter is a really greatexample of this.
I got up in my head and Iallowed that should part of me
to speak more loudly than myintuition.
I allowed that overthinkingpart of me to take over instead
of following the breadcrumbs andoperating from flow, and it

(16:23):
kicked me right back out intolevel two, consciousness of do,
do, do, do, do, and when thathappens, things that were
flowing no longer flow.
And then there's level fourconsciousness, and that's that
collective consciousness, thatoneness consciousness is
understanding that we are allconnected, and the concept of no

(16:45):
non duality.
There is no good or bad, thereis no right or wrong, everything
just is.
Any belief otherwise is basedmore on our human tendency to
put judgment on things based onnarratives, based on
conditioning, based on pastexperiences and the meanings
that we put to those experiences, based on past experiences and

(17:08):
the meanings that we put tothose experiences.
And me, shooting on myself wasa judgment based on past
experiences, based onconditioning for my past, and
that kicked me out of all ofthose higher levels of
consciousness too.
So back to the story that I wasinitially trying to share here.
I took this wonderful programled by Dr Rosales Meza I hope

(17:28):
I'm pronouncing her namecorrectly.
So I'm taking this program andshe is reminding us of the
importance of slowing down andconnecting to ourselves, to
Mother Earth, to our ancestors.
Now, I've taken courses in thepast from various schools of
thought, from various medicinepeople, from various different

(17:48):
lineages.
I find it very important tolearn many different
perspectives and ways ofthinking and ways of being, and
there were many things that shewas teaching that I had already
learned to do and had beenpracticing, and things that I,
in my rush to force what Ithought I should be doing, I

(18:10):
stopped doing, the irony of it.
So this was a wonderfulreminder to go back to those
practices and make someadjustments according to her
suggestions.
According to her suggestions, one of the homework was to
connect with Mother Earththrough connection to nature.

(18:30):
I started returning to mypractice of connecting with
trees, because, for some reason, trees call to me.
They always have and so Istarted reconnecting with the
trees and speaking to them.
When I started to do this, thetree started speaking back, and
at first I didn't believe it.

(18:50):
I wondered if I was imaginingthings.
Maybe that was just myimagination, and then I started
noticing what my dog was doingwhen I started doing this.
So my dog is an Alaskan Husky.
She's a sled dog.
She has a lot of sight houndbred into her, and so this all
means that she has a ton ofenergy.

(19:11):
She needs to run long, fast.
She does not stay in one placefor very long.
Whenever we go on walks, sheneeds to be constantly moving,
and I need to be constantlymoving with her.
And if I stop to say, forexample, record a video or type
out some thought that I had hadto put in my notes for later,

(19:34):
she's not sticking around.
She starts, she runs off andgoes somewhere, and usually she
goes off to cause some sort oftrouble.
But when I stop to connect tothe trees and I start talking to
them and they're talking back, she doesn't leave my side.
It's like she's standing guardfor me.
She does not run off, and it'shappened enough times now that I

(19:56):
know that this is notcoincidence, and so I've been
trusting that process.
I've been listening in and I'vehad the privilege to hear
numerous stories that the treeshave to share.
Some are so beautiful that myheart cracked wide open, and
some of these stories have beenso heartbreaking that it moved
me to tears.

(20:16):
This can't all just be part ofmy imagination.
There's something here and thenone day, doing this practice,
my mother's spirit appeared, andI wasn't expecting it and I
wasn't looking for that and Ifully welcomed it.
After that moment, everythingchanged.
After that moment, I wasreminded of why I'm here.

(20:38):
I was reminded that fulfillingmy purpose isn't going to come
through trying to force thingsto happen.
I was reminded that things willnaturally unfold when I
surrender to the flow and followmy breadcrumbs.
And then, shortly after that,dr Meza later confirmed in one
of her teachings about followingyour purpose that we don't get

(21:02):
the full picture right away.
We only start with a littleglimmer and the more we walk
towards it and the more we trustit and lean into it, the more
that's revealed, the more itopens up.
We don't see the whole thingright away and we can't force
that clarity.
We can't force it to happen.
It's about trusting the process, and I mean, I already know

(21:25):
this to be true.
It's part of the recalibrationwork I guide my clients through
right, not to push harder but toshow up deeper in alignment, in
flow, in presence, with focusedintention, and I wasn't
following my own medicine.
Now, since that moment in thewoods I have been reconnecting

(21:47):
to my flow and I have beenfollowing the intuitive
breadcrumbs again, and one ofthose breadcrumbs led me to pick
up a project that I had put tothe side because I had been
telling myself that I didn'thave the time to do this project
.
Can you see where this is going?
So that project was looking atmy ancestral lineage.

(22:10):
A number of years ago I endedup going into some rabbit holes
on ancestryca and all kinds ofother pages and I was connecting
dots and I started to puttogether some things and I knew
instinctively that there wassomething important for me to
uncover by looking at my lineage.

(22:32):
I didn't know what it was, Ijust knew that I needed to go
deeper.
And then the shoulds got aheadof me and said no, you don't
have time for this, you can dothis later.
So I'd actually put thatproject on hold for probably a
couple of years and then, afterall this had happened in the
woods and connected with mymother's spirit, something told

(22:56):
me to pick this project up againand once I did, there was
something inside me that said golook at their astrology charts.
And my mind was blown.
So all those astrologyplacements, configurations,
patterns that I've been tellingyou about, that I've been seeing
over and over and over myclients.
You know, those ones that arenot considered common in the

(23:18):
general population, right?
The alien patterns, those hardPluto placements, like all the
things that are in thatguidebook.
Yeah, so every single one of mymother's ancestors, as well as
her chart and my chart, havethem.
It's too regular to beconsidered a coincidence.
And there's some otherrepeating patterns that I'm

(23:41):
seeing that I believe meansomething important.
I know they mean somethingimportant.
I'm not going to tell you aboutall of them right now, because
I want to get more certain bycreating a database so that I
can use the scientific method todetermine the validity of what
I'm observing and making sureit's statistically significant.

(24:03):
However, I've seen enough nowto know that it is.
Now here's the thing the more Istarted diving into this project
which, by the way, it's beentaking me into rabbit holes
where I end up spending hours ofmy free time focusing on this
rather than all the other stuffthat I quote unquote should be

(24:25):
doing for my business the moreI'm noticing my flow returning
even more than before, and I'mseeing my income returning as
well, just as it had in thewinter, when I was on that
hiatus, when I wasn't on socialmedia and I was following my
intuition and focusing on whatlit me up the most, and income

(24:46):
came out of the woodwork in waysthat didn't logically seem
possible.
And as I dive deeper into thispassion project and I trust the
process more and more is beingrevealed to me, piece by piece
at a time I'm seeingassociations, I'm understanding
certain associations better andI keep stumbling across new

(25:07):
layers of information thatconnect even more dots, that
make the bigger picture evenclearer than ever.
And not just about meunderstanding my ancestry, not
just me understanding astrologypatterns more and understanding
the specific configurationsabout mine and my clients charts

(25:28):
more, because what I've piecedtogether is it's blowing my mind
and it's blowing my clientsminds more than ever, as I'm
sharing what I'm piecingtogether.
But I'm also seeing how this isactually a piece of a larger
system that has always been inme, that I've already started

(25:49):
creating over the course of mycareer, and it was like another
puzzle piece of the system thatI have been creating, like
clicked into place.
This system that I've beencreating and putting together
and growing and refining andexpanding as I'm expanding and
evolving is not just a systemthat I use with my clients to

(26:14):
guide them through this journeyof moving through an evolution
into the next level ofthemselves and then aligning
their work so that their workcatches up with their evolved
self and aligns with what theirsole purpose knows is here to
fulfill in their lifetime.
I can also see how this is alsoa system that my clients can

(26:34):
use with the people that they'rehere to lead and guide,
especially my clients who arepractitioners, like I've been,
and that's another piece of thepuzzle that's been getting
clearer for me because, as I'vebeen stepping into this flow,
I'm being led to connect withcertain people and have
conversations with certainpeople that have helped me get

(26:57):
even clearer for myself about myown work and who I'm here to
guide now, because I've beengoing through my own evolution
and you know this from all thedifferent episodes that I've
been sharing over the past yearand a half about all the
different iterations of myself, the deep inner work that I've

(27:17):
been doing, the pivots that I'vebeen making with my business,
with my niche, with my focus onwho I'm helping the how has
always been the same and itkeeps growing and expanding and
who I'm here to help has beenevolving, as I've been evolving

(27:38):
and I've been going throughanother level of my evolution
since I had that breakthrough in2024.
In real time, I'm catching myown work up to this level of my
own evolution.
I know this is part of the workthat's important for me and
it's a piece of the work that Iguide my own clients through.

(28:01):
I've done this for a number ofyears now with professionals,
with entrepreneurs, with leadersin a variety of different
professions, includingpractitioners and coaches and
healers, and I've never reallyhad a focus directly on working
with practitioners who are likeme.

(28:22):
And what I've noticed recentlyis I've been having some of
these conversations with friendsand colleagues and, as I've
been having these conversationswith these beautiful souls, I'm
hearing them tell me theirstories about their professional
journey, since they've beendoing their own inner growth

(28:42):
work and awakening work, andeverything that they're telling
me sounds exactly like my storyand the things that I went
through four, five, six, sevenyears ago.
With every single one of theseconversations it's like I'm just
a few years ahead of them onthis journey and I see now that

(29:09):
A there's a lot of people outthere that guide people through
the initial stages of innerawareness, self-awareness, inner
healing, and that's necessaryand important.
Self-awareness, inner healing,and that's necessary and
important.
There's a lot of people outthere that will guide people
through an inner awakening, andthere's fewer people that guide

(29:32):
people through okay, well, nowI've awakened, now what?
And fewer people that guidepeople through okay, I've gone
through this awakening and I'mevolving.
I'm not who I used to be andI'm not fully become who I know
that I'm here to be, and there'sa lot of people who have told
me that they understand thetheory of how to continue this

(29:56):
evolution and how to continuenavigating these next stages
after awakening.
However, intellectuallyunderstanding something and
actually knowing how toimplement it are two different
things, and I know that one ofmy gifts is being able to guide
somebody through that and helpthem understand the how and drop

(30:17):
into the level of being, instead of just knowing and
doing.
So here's the thing over theyears since around 2021, there's
been this inner drive within meto put together some sort of
programming for practitionerswho are like me but maybe a few

(30:37):
steps behind, and in the past, the only way that I could see
that was to create some sort ofcertification program for them
to teach them the deeper levelsof the modalities and the ways
of guiding someone more deeplythan what our professional
skills taught us right thatdeeper work and guiding them

(31:00):
through the deeper workthemselves so that they can be
the guide through example, guiding people through what they
went through and then teachingthem how to guide others through
what they went through.
And that was the only way I wasable to see that option of

(31:20):
putting together something forpractitioners.
And every time that I would sitdown and try to plan it, it
would start flowing and I wouldput down the structure and I
would create the programming andI would be like, yeah, this is
amazing, and I would get to thispoint where I would hit this
wall and it would just stopflowing.
And I realize now that thereason why is because, a it

(31:44):
wasn't meant to be birthed yetand, b the way I was trying to
make it happen wasn't the angle,it wasn't the way that I'm
actually destined to do it.
I was trying to force it tohappen more quickly than it was
supposed to unfold.
I still had some things that Ineeded to evolve through, and so

(32:07):
I would get to this point ofplanning and things would start
to flow, and then it was likethe inspiration stopped and then
, instead of operating from flowin my programming and planning,
I was operating from pushingshould let's get this done, come
on.
And once I started using myoverthinking brain instead of my
flow-based brain, that's whenthe project would stop, and this

(32:30):
happened to me at least threetimes.
So again, another lesson inwhen you operate from the
shoulds instead of the flow.
This is what happens.
And since I found my way back tomy flow again over the course
of this past spring and havingthese beautiful and rich
conversations with otherpractitioners, colleagues and
friends, and hearing thesestories that mirrored my own and

(32:55):
I'm just a couple steps aheadof them and I figured out some
important things that they'retrying to figure out now, I can
see that, yes, that innerinstinct that kept telling me
that I am here to work withother practitioners, I can see
that instinct now is true, andthe way I was trying to force it

(33:15):
to happen and the direction andangle that I thought that it
should happen because that'swhat I've seen modeled to me in
the industry is not actually theway that's aligned for me, and
I mean all of this makes sensebecause I'm not here to do it
like everybody else.
Neither are my clients, and myastrology chart shows that to be

(33:38):
true.
So many of my placements that Ihave in my chart point to the
fact that I am here to do itdifferently.
I am here to disrupt systems inorder to create things that are
more aligned for me and inorder to create possibilities
for others that are more alignedfor them, and I can't disrupt

(34:00):
systems if I'm trying to fitmyself into them.
It's impossible.
Again, I wasn't following my ownmedicine and then, through all
of this, something told me to goback and check my notes from a
few years ago, when I wasworking with an astrologer, to
better understand my astrologypatterns, the ones that not all

(34:22):
astrologers talk about, like myalien patterns.
For example, I have Pluto, which is the same degree as my
moon and seven degrees from mysun.
That gives me two alienpatterns that involve Pluto.
And again, just as a reminder, alien patterns don't mean that
you're an alien.
It means that the energy froman outer planet is so close to

(34:44):
your sun moon or rising signthat your identity, how you feel
and how other people see you isdifferent from the other people
around you because of thatinfluence of that outer planet
literally makes you think andfeel differently and so you kind
of feel like an alien.
You feel alienated, hence thename.

(35:06):
So many of my clients also havealien patterns and when I
explain alien patterns to them,or if they've heard the audio
lessons that I've spoken aboutalien patterns, which you can
find in the podcast earlier inseason two, they tell me over
and over again how much itexplained why they felt so

(35:30):
different for all of their lives, explained it more than
anything else, even if they'vegotten a diagnosis of autism,
adhd, high sensitivity,neurodiversity, giftedness, all
of these things.
For myself as well,understanding neurodiversity,

(35:51):
neurocomplexity, neurodivergence, high sensitivity absolutely
helped me better understandmyself to a degree and
understanding these alienpatterns.
So I worked with an astrologerfor at least six months to
understand these patterns aboutmyself, especially the alien

(36:13):
patterns.
I specifically found anastrologer who has had a number
of years of experience andknowledge with alien patterns
specifically.
He's even created a course thathe used to teach on alien
patterns, and I'm lookingthrough these notes and one of
the things that he told me isthat those of us who have Pluto

(36:35):
alien patterns especially whenwe have multiple Pluto alien
patterns, are here to guideothers with alien patterns to be
able to master their own alienpatterns and the gifts that are
associated with them and thepowers that are associated with
them.
And as I'm looking throughthese notes and I've had these
conversations, which have allunfolded since I reconnected to

(36:59):
my flow and my passion projects,it was like this bell went off
in my head like ding, ding, ding.
Of course that makes sense whymy clients, over and over again,
have alien patterns.
That's who I'm here to guideand lead to master the gifts

(37:19):
that are associated with theseintense astrology placements.
And I've mentioned in thatprevious episode about alien
patterns that there are specificgifts and powers and abilities
that come with these particularplacements, as well as some
challenges.
We kind of act like karmicmirrors and the flavor of what

(37:39):
it is that we are mirroring backto the people around us depends
on the energy of the specificplanet involved in that alien
pattern, right?
So somebody who has Pluto isgoing to have a different flavor
of what they are reflectingback to people than someone who
has Neptune, for example.
So Pluto is all about deep downexcavation, bringing up all the

(38:03):
repressed and suppressed shameto the surface so that you can
clear it, so that you can moveup another level of
consciousness in yourtransformation.
And so I know one of the thingsthat I do is, when I'm working
with a client is helping themsee where they might be still
repressing some things thatmight be associated with

(38:25):
shameful emotions, so that theycan clear it, and doing it in a
way where it doesn't feel likeit's like you're dredging in the
shame.
It's more an empowering processof transmuting it so that you
can continue your evolution andtransformation.
And that's different thansomebody who has say, for
example, neptune, their abilityand their flavor, that they're

(38:49):
mirroring back in people is thefullest potential of who they
are and their deepest creativegifts and abilities, and helping
them understand how to lovethemselves through reflecting
that person's highest potentialback to them so that they can
see it clearly right.

(39:09):
So can you see, both of us areinvolved in transforming people
through mirroring back somethingabout that other person to them
.
But what we're mirroring backis slightly different depending
on which planet is involved inthe alien pattern and, as I've
said in the podcast episodebefore, because we are these
karmic mirrors, even if we don'tsay a word, even if we are not

(39:33):
working with somebody, even ifwe are not using our
professional skills.
This is happening in thebackground when we're connecting
with somebody, and some peopleare not looking for someone to
mirror back to them what theydon't want to see.
Some people don't want to seeunprocessed and repressed shame
so that they can transform it,and some people don't want to

(39:54):
have their highest potentialmirrored back to them because
that could feel triggering.
If they don't want to look atit, or if they don't believe
that they can access it, or ifthat's just not what they want,
those people are going to gettriggered.
Or people are going to gettriggered, or they're going to
get upset, or they're going tofeel uncomfortable.
They're not going to like itand it's going to cause some

(40:17):
level of discomfort, either inthem or in you, or both.
And for the person who islooking for that and that's the
exact thing that they want andthey need in order to catalyze
and continue theirtransformation it's going to
change their lives in ways thatare probably going to blow both
of your minds, and this is whyit's so important to understand

(40:40):
the power of these patterns andhow to use them, how to leverage
them and how to direct them inways that are going to be to the
benefit of everybody, becausesometimes, if we don't
understand these patterns A wecan't use them to the fullest of
their potential.
B sometimes it means that wemight be actually focusing them

(41:01):
on the wrong people and that canjust cause everyone to feel
triggered.
C sometimes, if we don'tunderstand what's actually going
on, we can direct the power ofthese patterns in ways that are
actually harmful.
We might project what we don'twant to accept about ourselves
onto other people.
And this is something that cameto me as I've been observing my

(41:22):
own family line and looking atmy maternal line and all of
these patterns that keeprepeating over and over again.
And what I know about mymother's family and all of these
patterns that keep repeatingover and over again, and what I
know about my mother's familyand my mother and my mother's
mother and my mother's mother'smother, is that when you don't
understand the power of thesepatterns and you don't own them,
you don't accept them, you tryto hide them away, you try to

(41:44):
repress them, you try to avoidthem, you end up projecting onto
other people in ways that canbe unhealthy, that can be toxic,
that can be harmful, and that'swhat I've seen in my family
line, and I see I have had theprivilege to be able to do this
inner work.
I think this goes to be truefor so many of us our previous

(42:10):
generations, our parents, ourparents, parents.
The farther back you go, theless opportunity those people
had to be able to do this innerwork, to heal the wounds, to
break the cycles, to create newways of being that are based on
wholeness, that are based on whoyou are, not who you think that

(42:33):
you should be, in order tosurvive, in order to fit in, in
order to be accepted, in orderto belong, in order to avoid
other people from reactingnegatively to you.
And these have been cycles, especially for those of us who
are deep and highly sensitiveand experience life the way that
we do, especially when you havean alien pattern.

(42:54):
It can be confusing, it can behurtful, and oftentimes we try
to do whatever we think that weneed to do in order to prevent
all of these intense, triggeringexperiences with other people.
And this is the thing myselfand the people that I work with
now.
We've done enoughself-awareness work,

(43:17):
self-inquiry work, inner healingwork to understand that that
cycle is not a healthy one tocontinue.
We've done enough of the worknow to break out of many of
those survival patterns that weused to engage in in order to
try to protect ourselves andkeep ourselves safe.

(43:38):
Right, the people pleasing, themasking ourselves, the
contorting ourselves, trying tobe who we think we need to be in
order to keep people happy, inorder to prevent people from
reacting to us, in order to beaccepted.
And that also included thecareer choices that we made, the
career paths that we took, theniche that we chose, how we
decided to work with people.

(43:59):
Right, I know for myself that'sbeen the case.
It's one of the reasons why Ispent so many years working as a
general clinician as opposed toactually listening to that
inner intuition that said, no,there's something deeper here
for you to be following, otherthan treating colds and back
pain.
Right.
And it's the reason why I chosea safe niche when I finally did

(44:21):
decide to leave generalclinical practice and go online
with my work, and I ended upchoosing perimenopausal weight
loss because it's a popularniche, it's a safe niche, and I
did not enjoy it one bit.
I had to learn the hard way andI'm also seeing over and over
and over again.
So many of my friends andcolleagues who are built like me

(44:44):
, who have charts like me.
Every single time I've beenspeaking with someone lately who
is a practitioner and when theyshow me their charts and they
have an alien pattern especiallyif they have an alien pattern
and a prominent Pluto pattern Ikeep hearing the same thing.
They know, they're good at whatthey do, they have expertise,

(45:06):
they have more than enoughknowledge and training and
certifications and something'sstill missing.
Usually they've gone throughsome inner journey.
Usually some event has sparkedthe inner journey, right Whether
it's been some crisis in theirlife, whether that be a health
crisis or relationship or deathof a loved one or something of

(45:30):
that nature.
Or there's also been quite anumber of my friends and
colleagues who the pandemic wasthe thing that broke them open.
It was the thing that was theneedle mover that pushed them
into this next level of theirinner evolution journey.
And I've seen that not onlywith practitioners I hear this
over and over again whenever I'mtalking to people is the

(45:52):
pandemic has been a big thingfor a lot of people who, if they
had not already had some sortof moment, that was kind of like
the straw that broke thecamel's back, that sent them
into some sort of inner healing, self awareness journey,
evolution journey, rebirthjourney.
The pandemic was the thing forthem and for me.
I had been pushed into thisjourney four years prior to the

(46:15):
pandemic and I also see to betrue.
With these particular patterns, especially alien patterns, and
then hard Pluto placementpatterns right so, like if your
Pluto is an aspect either right, beside or opposite, or square,
your sun or your moon, especially these are intense
placements that cause you tofeel like you continually need

(46:39):
to learn, grow and evolve.
You can't not, you can't put alid on that and not everybody
understands this.
I've worked with many coachesand mentors myself, me as the
client, not all but some ofthese coaches.
They don't understand this needto continue to grow and evolve

(47:01):
and they just say just picksomething and stay there and
don't change.
And like that's the worstfreaking advice that you can
give somebody with alienpatterns and Pluto placements is
to just pick something and staythere and don't change.
Like you can't.
It's like when I worked withthat astrologer understanding my

(47:24):
astrology placements and thealien patterns, he gave me this
analogy having an alien patternand having deep Pluto placements
is kind of like having a highenergy dog, and I can see this
to be true with my Alaskan Husky.
If you take this high energydog so if I took my Alaskan
Husky and I locked it in a smallroom and I did not let it out

(47:47):
to run what's going to happen?
It's going to destroy the roomfrom the inside.
And it's kind of like tellingsomebody with these patterns
don't continue to learn and growand evolve, stay where you are,
just don't change.
You can't do that Becausewhat's going to happen?

(48:07):
You're going to destroyyourself from the inside.
And that's exactly whathappened to me.
I've learned the hard way that, first of all, looking to other
people for the answer is not theanswer.
Second of all, not everyone'sgoing to understand how I'm
designed and how I need toactually operate in order to

(48:29):
work with my design, because noteveryone is built like me.
We are part of a minority, so Ican't expect people who aren't
part of this minority tounderstand how this works and
trying to follow the neuronormative approaches from people
who are not built like this, who don't understand this, and

(48:50):
they're saying well, you justshould be doing this, just stay
the way you are and don't change.
For example, if I continued toforce myself to do that because
that's what this particularbusiness coach told me is the
way that you need to go in orderfor business success, if I
continue to force myself to dothat, I would have only

(49:10):
continued to destroy myself fromthe inside.
That wasn't going to give meany type of success that was
long-term, sustainable andbeneficial for me.
And then going back to thescience that I've pieced
together about being a highlysensitive, gifted or
neurocomplex, and if you takethat information and now put it
towards somebody who has theseastrological placements, you

(49:34):
need to work with your design.
You need to work withsupporting your own needs in a
positively supportive way.
That's how you leverage vantagesensitivity.
That's how you can flourish.
And if you don't do thesethings, the studies also show
that you are going to functionsignificantly less.
Your function is going todecrease if you work against

(49:58):
yourself.
Right, it's not just a nice tohave to understand how you
operate and work with, howyou're designed, because if you
don't do these things, you'redoing yourself a disservice and
you are doing the collective adisservice, because you cannot
work to the fullest potential ofyour capabilities.
Science proves this to be true, and that means that you are

(50:21):
unable to help the people thatyou know that you are here and
destined to lead to achievetheir full potential because
you're not operating at yours, and when you work against
yourself, it dilutes your gifts.
You have less and less accessto the gifts that make you
unique over and above yourprofessional skills and studies

(50:44):
show that to be true as well.
Access to things likecreativity and intuitiveness,
pattern recognition, innovativethinking all of these things are
gifts that are associated withthese unique designs, and the
more you work against yourself, the more you try to force
yourself, push, hustle, followthose shoulds instead of

(51:05):
following meaning and purposeand curiosity.
You kick yourself out of flowstate and your access to these
gifts declines significantly.
And these are the gifts thatwill enable the work that you do
with other people to amplifytheir results far beyond what

(51:28):
your professional skills alonecan deliver, and I've seen this
to be true as well Over and overagain since I've been doing
this type of work.
The results that my clients getare far beyond anything I've
witnessed when I was a clinicalnaturopathic doctor.
Clinical skills absolutely help.

(51:49):
I'm not saying that I didn'thelp my patients when I was a
naturopathic doctor.
Clinical skills absolutely help.
I'm not saying that I didn'thelp my patients when I was a
naturopathic doctor, because Iknow that I did.
Their health improved.
People were able to recover, they were no longer bogged down
by symptoms that they had beenbefore, and I can see now just
how much more there is beyondgetting over symptoms and being

(52:11):
functional.
There's a whole other paradigmbeyond that, and when you know,
you know.
So I wanted to share this storytoday because it's been a while
since I've been here on thepodcast and while I knew I
needed to give myself permissionto be with myself, be in my
passion, follow the breadcrumbs,I needed some time to put some

(52:35):
more pieces of the puzzletogether before I came back here
.
I also wanted to show up andgive you an update of where I am
and share an important lessonthat I was reminded of along the
way that I think will benefityou as well.
So again, shutting yourselfjust makes a big mess.
I was reminded of that earlierthis year and again a reminder

(53:00):
while sometimes it doesn'talways make logical sense, the
key to your flow, greatersuccess and having things work
more efficiently and better, more aligned, is to follow the
breadcrumbs.
Trust the process, stopshooting, stop pushing, follow
meaning, follow curiosity, evenif it doesn't make any logical

(53:23):
sense.
Those things that maybe you'vebeen putting off to the side
because you keep thinking, well,I don't have time for that
because I should be doing this.
Maybe those are the things foryou to explore, taking a look at
.
It might not make logical sense, but you might be surprised
what unfolds.
I have so much more to share and, as I continue this project,

(53:44):
I'm going to have more and moreto share with you, because I can
see some really importantpuzzle pieces getting put
together and I'm not quite ready.
More and more to share with you, because I can see some really
important puzzle pieces gettingput together and I'm not quite
ready to share them yet.
Now I'm going to be having acouple of podcast interviews
with some guests very soon andI'm really excited to share
those with you once I recordthem.
I think that you're going toenjoy these conversations as

(54:08):
well, by like-minded souls whohave so much wisdom to share.
Helpful reminder for you, aswell as catching you up to what

(54:32):
I've been up to, because I knowthat I've been getting quite a
number of messages from peopleasking me.
Where are you?
You okay, where are you at?
I want to know.
So here you go, as always, thank you for being here, thank
you for tuning in, I appreciateyou being here and if you've
been appreciating this podcastand you know somebody else who
would as well, please feel freeto share.

(54:53):
Share the love, and I thank you.
And again, if you're wonderingif you have any of these
astrology patterns that I'vebeen talking about in this
episode, you can find that outif you go to the free kit.
In the show notes, you'll learnall about how to see whether or
not you have these particularplacements and you can listen to

(55:13):
some audio lessons that willguide you more deeply to
understand what exactly theseplacements mean for you in terms
of your leadership, in terms ofyour purpose and your direction
, and how to harness them.
And if you want me to take alook at your chart, there's
information in the kit as wellas in the show notes.
And if you want me to take alook at your chart, there's
information in the kit as wellas in the show notes.
And if you're a practitioner orprofessional who's been going

(55:35):
through this process yourself, you've gone through lots of
inner healing, you've gonethrough an awakening.
You're out the other side andyou're noticing that your work
has not caught up to thisversion of your evolution and
you're looking for some clarity.
You're looking for some insight, guidance and support to catch
your work up so that you can seethat next step in your journey

(55:56):
more clearly.
Then the Clarity Lab is where Ihelp you do that, and it's the
first step in a multi-stepjourney that I guide people
through.
If you're looking to step morefully into your legacy work and
make that deeper level impactthat you know that you're here
to make, and you wanna do thatclearly, confidently,

(56:19):
unapologetically, in a way thatworks with your design, then the
Clarity Lab is the first step.
You can find all thatinformation in the show notes,
so if any of that interests you,I look forward to connecting
and until next time, take goodcare.
