Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and welcome
back.
You have made it to day five ofthe training series, your Next
Intuitive Business Breakthrough.
I celebrate you for making thewhole week and listening to all
the episodes.
If you've been following along, and if you haven't been
following along and you're justcoming across this episode, know
(00:21):
that there are four episodesprior to this one that build on
guiding you to more deeplyconnect with your own intuitive
knowing so that you can haveyour own breakthroughs in your
business, to help you understandthe direction you want to go,
the decisions that you want tomake and how you truly want to
(00:41):
be operating your business in away that works for you and your
deepest sole purpose.
If you're interested inlistening to the other episodes,
you can go back and listen toall the different parts before
this one if you like, but thisis a good standalone session all
on its own, and if you want togo through them in order, I
(01:04):
suggest that you use the link inthe show notes to sign up for
the training series and you'llreceive one email a day for five
days with links to each of thetrainings as well.
You'll receive some additionalresources in the emails to
support what you're going to belearning in the training.
So so far this week, thebeginning of the week was
(01:26):
teaching you a few concepts andtools that I used myself and
teach my own one-on-one clientsto help you start getting in
tune with your own intuitiveknowing.
And even if you are already intune with your intuitive knowing
, this helps you to deepen it.
And I do suggest that, even ifyou've already done some
(01:52):
personal development work andfoundational work before on
yourself, every time that you dothese exercises and the things
that I've suggested in the firstthree days, you're going to see
another layer that maybe wasnot visible before.
You're going to see anotherlayer that maybe was not visible
before, because every time yougo through this content and do
these types of exercises, ithelps you to widen your
perspective a little bit more.
(02:14):
Every single time I see thisover and over again, even with
clients that I've been seeingfor months and years, and we
revisit some of these exerciseslater down the road and they go
wow, how did I not see thatbefore?
It's because this is how thiswork works, especially when, if
(02:34):
you have been operating fromstress mode, if you've been
operating from survival mode, what that typically ends up
making us do is only see aportion of what's actually going
on.
We have a very limitedperspective because when you're
in survival mode you're reallyjust focused on what's in front
of you, because that's all youcan focus on, because all of
(02:57):
your resources are being puttowards trying to survive.
So it's kind of like lookingthrough a peephole, and so you
can only see so much of what isactually going on.
You can only see a tiny littledot of the bigger picture.
And so doing these exercisesand getting you connected with
your intuition and your nervoussystem and how you operate in
(03:22):
particular, and the language ofyour and the language of your
body and the language of yourintuition and how your design
works, the more you're going tobe able to widen that
perspective for yourself, themore you're going to be able to
step back from being in survivalmode and start to see what else
is possible, start to see whatelse exists, because there's
(03:44):
always more to see.
Consciousness is infinite andwe can only see a small sliver
of everything that's possible.
But as you deepen yourconnection with yourself, you
can widen that perspective tosee more and more of what's
possible.
So, again, days one to threewere about using some tools and
(04:09):
some practices to start to getto know your nervous system,
your language of your intuition.
What is your intuition andwhat's not your intuition?
What are some of the signs thatmaybe something feels aligned
and something doesn't feelaligned?
What, according to your humandesign, is your most optimal way
(04:30):
to make decisions and what youroptimal green and red flag
feelings are, according to yourhuman design?
And then we switched gears as wewent into lesson four that was
yesterday and I spoke about theimportance of developing
self-compassion and how that isthe root of so much.
It truly is the root tochanging how you see yourself,
(04:55):
and when you change the way youlook at things, the things that
you look at change, especiallyyourself.
It changes your relationship toyour intuition and how much you
trust your intuitive knowingand trust yourself and accept
yourself.
And it also changes how youshow up in the world, in your
work, in relationship to others, and it impacts the state of
(05:19):
your nervous system.
And this is key and I've seenthis over and over again, not
only when it comes to makingintuitive decisions, not only
when it comes to how you'reoperating in your business, but
also how you're operating inrelationships and also the state
of your health, and this goesback to my previous versions of
(05:42):
my work before I pivoted to whatI do now.
It's always been the same rootthat your inner emotional
terrain, the level of connectionthat you have to yourself, the
level of compassion you have foryourself and how much you
accept yourself and own who youare and operate in an authentic
(06:04):
way that aligns with who you areand what you actually want.
These are the roots that impactyour nervous system, and your
nervous system is the bridgethat impacts every single
physiological system in yourbody.
And that's why this deeperinner work had such a profound
effect on the people that I usedto help when it came to
(06:27):
managing their chronic illnesseslike autoimmunity and
endometriosis.
And this deeper inner work alsohas a huge profound effect on
you, especially if you are ahighly sensitive entrepreneur,
in terms of the level of successand functionality that you have
in your business, as well ashow much you're enjoying what
(06:48):
you're doing.
And it's shown that when you dothis work to accept yourself
and do the work to accommodateyour needs, and you do the work
to step into your deepest senseof purpose, using your intuition
and owning your sensitive giftsand leveraging them in your
(07:09):
work, because you're just 20% ofthe population.
You have a leg up compared to80% of the population that does
not have as much access to thesesensitive gifts that you do.
And also the research provesthat when you come from this
place of acceptance, positivesupport from the inside and
(07:33):
around you, that the researchshows that, as a highly
sensitive person, you are goingto thrive more than a less
sensitive person who also doesthis work to support themselves
from the inside out, and thatshould be leveraged.
That is a life hack for ahighly sensitive person, if I've
(07:55):
ever seen one, and the reasonwhy this is so important is
being a highly sensitive personis considered a meta personality
trait, and so that means whenwe're in a negatively supportive
environment, we're going to bemaladaptive.
We're going to have somechallenges and struggles, and
it's going to be difficult.
And the more unsupportive yourenvironment is, both externally
(08:19):
and internally, you're going tostruggle, you're going to
operate from survival mode.
But this meta trait means thatwhen you are in a supportive
environment both around you andwithin you, then you will thrive
and thrive you will, and thisis how you can contribute that
(08:42):
deep, meaningful, positiveimpact that you want to be
creating and contributing to inthis world for the people that
you know that you're destined toserve, and this is why it's so
important as a highly sensitiveentrepreneur, these things are
not just a nice to have.
This is actually yourresponsibility If you want to be
(09:02):
making that positive impactthat you know that you're here
to make in this world.
Doing these things for yourselfis your responsibility.
It's not woo-woo, it's notselfish, it's not weird, it's
not fluffy.
To be doing this work toconnect to your intuition, to
regulate your nervous system, toaccept yourself from the inside
(09:23):
out with self-compassion and toaccommodate your sensitive
needs so that you're working atyour fullest potential and
fullest capacity.
This is your responsibility.
This is your responsibility tohow you can contribute that
meaningful impact, to positivelyimpact the world the way that
you know that you want to bedoing it.
(09:43):
Today, I'm going to go throughsome of the steps involved in
really owning this and steppinginto that next level of your
business and doing business onyour terms, so that you can be
making that meaningful impactwith the fullest level of
success, as well as beingconnected with your joy and your
(10:05):
deepest soul purpose.
So I'll give you an overview ofwhat that entails and how to do
this for yourself.
So, if you haven't alreadygotten the message already, the
first thing always that Iaddress with my clients in all
of my online programs is nervoussystem first.
If you have ever registered forany of my online programs, you
(10:30):
always see that there's alwaysnervous system prep work, and
that's because it sets you up sothat everything else that we do
afterwards works better andthat you'll be able to take in
everything else and integrate it.
And studies prove that nervoussystem support is beneficial and
important for so many things, including your ability to
(10:53):
connect with your intuition, your ability to self-regulate,
your overall general wellnessand well-being and that impacts
your energy, your focus, yourconcentration and your ability
to do your work.
And for nervous system support.
There's a variety of differenttools and exercises that you can
(11:14):
do to support your nervoussystem to widen your window of
tolerance, to improve your vagaltone and to minimize allostatic
overload.
Things like deep breathing andmindful awareness and meditation
, and different activities likegargling, cold water exposure.
(11:35):
These things can be helpful.
Now, different exercises arebeneficial for different types
of people, and so it can behelpful to personalize which
approaches are going to workbest for you, although I always
find that deep breathing, especially alternate nostril
breathing, tends to be a veryimpactful way that everybody
(11:59):
tends to find benefit from, andso I always suggest starting
there.
Now, here's the thing withnervous system support is that
these activities on their own, without addressing the deeper
pillars that I'm going to betalking about and that I've
talked about this week, they'llhelp.
They're going to help you feelbetter, they're going to help to
support vagal tone, but they'reonly going to get you so far if
(12:23):
you don't address the deeperroots.
And this is why nervous systemsupport comes first, and it's an
important foundation.
But we don't stop there Because, as laid out in lesson four
yesterday, if you do thesenervous system support exercises
, yeah, you're going to feelbetter, maybe a little bit
calmer, maybe a little bit moreability to focus, a little bit
(12:45):
more energy.
But if you don't address, sayfor example, the level of
compassion that you have foryourself and you're lacking in
that department, and you'realways criticizing yourself,
you're always upset withyourself, you're always judging
yourself, hard on yourself, putting constant pressure on
yourself, then that putsconstant pressure on your
nervous system.
Constant pressure on yourself, then that puts constant pressure
(13:06):
on your nervous system.
And so, yeah, the nervoussystem support activities and
exercises are going to help that.
But then what happens when youstop doing those nervous system
support activities, if you don'taddress the underlying root of
this constant pressure thatyou're putting on your nervous
system from within yourself?
And what tends to happen is, ifyou stop the nervous system
(13:26):
regulation activities, you endup back where you were feeling
before.
Even if you continue on withthese nervous system regulation
activities, they're only goingto take you so far, because
there's always going to be thisconstant pressure that will
minimize the level of benefitthat these activities can
deliver to you.
(13:46):
And here's the thing and I'vementioned this in a previous
podcast episode a few weeks backis that what I tend to notice
when I guide people through mymethodology, the inner
liberation method, is that whilemy clients do tend to rely a
lot on the tools and exercisesat the very beginning, as they
(14:09):
move through supporting theirinner emotional terrain and
change their perspective andchange how they relate to
themselves and change that inneremotional terrain from within,
that they find that they don'tneed to rely on those tools
anymore to support their nervoussystem because they naturally
(14:30):
just feel grounded and connectedfrom within yourself, and this
is the deeper work In mymethodology that I guide my
clients through.
As I mentioned, nervous systemis just the start and there's so
many more layers to go, and thenext step is about really
learning how to understand andknow yourself so much more
(14:52):
clearly and hopefully this weekyou've learned how to know
yourself a little bit more interms of what the language of
your intuition is saying, and itcan be really helpful to
understand your design, likeyour human design and astrology.
I find these to be reallyhelpful ways to understand who
(15:15):
you are, what your strengths are, what the challenges are that
you likely encountered in yourlifetime, what your inner soul
purpose is all about, whatdirection you're going in this
lifetime and what your biggestgifts are.
It's also really helpful to dothe work to really understand
(15:37):
what your deepest desires reallyare and your values that you
hold near and dear to your heart, because these are the things
that are going to help lead youin the direction that feels most
aligned for you.
As you continue to use yourintuition as your inner compass.
The more you know yourself, themore you know who you are and
(16:01):
what you truly want, the easierit becomes for you to be making
the decisions that feel trulyaligned, especially when it
comes to the decisions for yourbusiness and your work and the
direction that you're going withthose.
I also find understanding yourpersonality type can be really
(16:22):
helpful.
I really like the 16personalities or the
Myers-Briggs personality typetesting.
I oftentimes suggest that myclients go to 16personalitiescom
.
You can do a free test there ifyou haven't done your
Myers-Briggs or 16 personalitiestype test.
And understanding yourpersonality can be really
(16:47):
helpful to understand how youinteract with other people, what
drives you in terms of yourintermission and what work
environments and career optionsare most likely to be aligned
for you.
And once I started getting myclients to do the 16
personalities test, I wasfinding a really interesting
(17:09):
trend was unfolding.
A large proportion of myone-on-one clients tend to score
as INFJ.
If they aren't INFJ, a largeproportion of them tend to score
I blank, f blank.
So whether that be INFP, isfp, isfj or INFJ, there's this
(17:33):
tendency to be in thatparticular subset of the
personality population andunderstanding this about
themselves tends to be reallyhelpful as part of accepting who
they are and why there's thistendency to prefer depth.
It's part of our processing,it's part of how we're wired and
(17:58):
it also causes us to tend tofeel like we don't fit in,
because most people don'toperate in this way.
But the more we understandthese traits about ourselves and
understand that we do make up asmall percentage of the
population, and especially INFJs, because they're the smallest
(18:20):
percentage of the population,especially women.
In general, infjs make up aboutone to two percent of the
population, especially women.
In general, infjs make up about1-2% of the population and a
very small percentage of that iswomen, and that tends to be the
largest amount of people thatend up showing up in my world,
both with clients and with myfriends and my own mentors and
(18:42):
coaches.
When I started asking around, itturns out that most people in
my world are INFJ.
I've been told I'm kind of likethe INFJ whisperer.
I myself am an INFP, but afterdoing some reading about it, it
seems that INFPs really getINFJs and we tend to be get
(19:09):
INFJs and we tend to be INFPsand INFJs tend to be besties.
And looking at my own personalexperience, I'd have to say that
that's true.
Now, of course, with everything, take everything with a grain
of salt, take what you need andleave the rest behind.
That comes for myself andanything that I share or teach
here, as well as any otherresources that you find.
But all of these things can helpyou understand some of the
(19:29):
different pieces of yourpersonal puzzle and the more
pieces that you put together.
That's how you can see thebigger picture more clearly, and
it can also be really helpfulto understand how you are wired,
especially if you're a highlysensitive person, which is
considered to be aneurodivergent trait.
(19:50):
What that means is that yournervous system and your brain is
wired a little bit differentlythan the neurotypical or
holistic population, andunderstanding this about
yourself can really help you toknow who you actually are and
how you function and how youthink and how you respond,
because a lot of it is going tolikely be different than 80% of
(20:15):
the population.
And the more you understandyourself, then, the more you can
feel confident in who you areand why you think and react and
believe what you do.
And then, of course, this helpsyou to develop more
self-compassion, as we talkedabout in yesterday's episode,
(20:38):
and this is the thing right, especially for those of us who
are highly sensitive people.
So many of us have beenprogrammed to believe that that
sensitivity is a flaw, that thatsensitivity is too much, that
we need to change or hide thesethings about us.
And, of course, we will nothave an optimal level of
(20:58):
self-compassion when we believethese things about ourselves.
And so when you understand ohactually, that's just who I am
and that's how I'm wired thatcan help you to start to develop
more self-compassion foryourself.
And your relationship withyourself dictates the quality of
every other relationship inyour life, including your
(21:20):
relationship with your business.
And, just to reiterate, if youdo have a poor level of
self-compassion, your inneremotional terrain is going to be
out of balance and that canimpact your nervous system state
and that then can impact yourdecisions and how you show up
for life and how you show up inyour business, for yourself, for
(21:42):
your clients, for youremployees, everything this
deeper work of really setting upa strong foundation of
self-compassion for yourself, this is how you can set up a
positive, supportive environmentfrom the inside right.
So I've spoke yesterday abouthow putting yourself in positive
(22:05):
, supportive environments as ahighly sensitive person actually
enables you to thrive, andthrive more so than a less
sensitive person who putsthemselves in a positive,
supportive environment.
And that self-compassion andshifting that inner emotional
(22:25):
terrain to a more positivelysupportive inner environment is
part of the puzzle, and it's avery important puzzle piece.
It's actually, I believe, moreimportant than all of the
external positive support thatyou are going to create for
yourself, because what I tend tosee is when we just look at the
external but we haven't donethe work to shift the internal,
(22:46):
then we're in this constantvicious cycle of seeking and
chasing external things to giveus that sensation and that
feeling and fulfillment thatreally needs to come from the
inside first, and of course Iknow this because I've been
there.
When I first started as anaturopathic doctor, I thought
(23:09):
that having the title of doctorand everyone calling me doctor
was going to be the thing thathelped me feel valuable and
helped me feel good about myself, and I quickly realized that
that doesn't give me the feelingof fulfillment that I truly
desired, because I needed tofind it from the inside first,
starting with compassion formyself, and so this
(23:32):
self-compassion is thedeveloping the positive,
supportive environment from theinside, and then the other piece
to this is developing apositive supportive environment
externally around yourself, andone of the ways to do this,
especially in your business, isto establish the terms and
conditions to do business yourway, especially as a sensitive
(23:57):
entrepreneur.
This might look different foreverybody, depending on who you
are, what you want, what yourneeds are, where you're at in
terms of how your body functions, the level of energy that you
have.
Some examples here might be,first of all, adjusting your
environment for your sensoryneeds, and so that might mean
(24:18):
making adjustments to youroffice, for example, and the
lighting, the sounds, thelocation.
It might mean making a makeoverto your schedule, allowing
yourself to have time toyourself, time to integrate time
between clients, for example.
I know for myself I used to seeback-to-back clients and I would
(24:40):
have just enough time inbetween my patients when I was a
naturopathic doctor to run tothe washroom before I had to go
and pick up my next patient, andI see now how unsupportive that
was.
I'm a 6-2 generator in humandesign and that two line needs a
(25:00):
lot of alone time.
I need that alone time to bringmyself back to center.
I've discovered I need time inbetween my clients, and that's
one example of a schedulemakeover that I've made for
myself is to make sure that onmy schedule I block it out so
that I have enough time inbetween seeing clients, that I
(25:25):
can recenter myself, that I haveenough time to go outside into
nature, do some breathing, maybehave something to eat, and all
of these things are supportivefor me so that I can show up at
my best when I am connected tomy client.
That's in front of me andthat's important.
That's important to help myclient get the best results from
(25:48):
working with me is making surethat I'm showing up at my best
and showing up at my bestresearch shows it for a highly
sensitive person making surethat you are in a supportive
environment, both inside andaround you, with your
environment, with your schedule,as well as establishing healthy
boundaries.
(26:09):
So where is your line in thesand of the things that you are
going to tolerate and nottolerate?
What are your rules ofengagement in your work, how
you're going to work, how you'regoing to connect with clients
and then, who are you going towork with, the type of clientele
that's most aligned for you andthe focus of your work, the
(26:32):
niche, and how that aligns withyour mission, vision and purpose
.
A really great example of thisI've gone into detail in.
I think it was the secondpodcast episode of season one
and I spoke about how I madepivots to the type of work and
the clientele that I'm workingwith that feels most aligned for
(26:53):
me, at the stage of where I'mat, with my own personal
evolution.
And this is the thingespecially for those of us who
are highly sensitive people, there's this strong tendency to
want to go deep.
We're very complex and there'salso this strong desire for many
of us to grow and evolve.
(27:14):
And as we grow and evolve, there can be this tendency to
notice that where our businessis when we were at an earlier
version of ourselves is nolonger aligned with where we are
now as we're growing andevolving.
And so part of setting up apositive, supportive environment
(27:37):
externally and establishing theterms and conditions to do
business, your way is to giveyourself permission to evolve
your business along with you asyou're evolving, making the
pivots and changes and shifts,so that it still feels aligned
with the type of work, theclientele, how you're working
(28:01):
and your own personal mission, vision and purpose.
As you're doing this work tosupport your inner emotional
terrain, your inner environmentand your external environment
and you're getting to knowyourself better, you're also
getting to know the specialgifts and strengths that you
have and especially as a highlysensitive person, you have
(28:22):
specific gifts that you can moredeeply develop and master so
that they become skills that youcan leverage over and above
what your professional skillsalone can deliver.
And so some examples ofsensitive gifts that you can
(28:43):
master as your sensitive skillsare things like a high level of
intuitiveness.
As a highly sensitive person, wenaturally have a more deep
connection to our intuition, andthis week I've been giving you
a starting point on how to moredeeply connect to your own
intuitive knowing.
And, of course, as I mentionedin yesterday's training, the
(29:07):
more and more supportive yourinner emotional terrain is, the
more and more connection to yourintuition you will have.
And other gifts associated withbeing a highly sensitive person
include pattern recognition,out-of-the-box problem solving,
empathy, picking up on subtlenuances others can't seem to
(29:29):
detect, and even psychicabilities, and these are the
skills that will provideinnovative solutions and healing
beyond what your professionalskills alone can deliver.
And as you master and leveragethese sensitive skills in your
work, you have even moreaccurate and aligned decision
(29:50):
making for yourself, movingforward in your business, as
well as the ability tofacilitate even bigger client
results beyond anything thatyou've seen before, and I can
personally attest to this.
I spoke a little bit about thisin yesterday's episode, about
how my intuition opened up and Iconnected with my intuition.
(30:13):
Once I was able to establishthat self-compassion piece, just
how much more impactful andphenomenal my client results
were because of that connectionto my intuition and what I was
able to facilitate for themthrough picking up on intuitive
and clairvoyant knowing, butalso my ability to guide them to
(30:39):
their own intuitive knowing, because I can only take people
as far as I've gone and the morethat you can master these
skills for yourself, you can usethese to facilitate bigger
client results, provide evenmore creative and innovative
solutions, as well as thefurther you go on your journey
(31:01):
of being able to master yourskills, if you're working with
people who also want to do thesame for themselves, it behooves
you to keep on going on thispath of mastering these
sensitive skills for yourself sothat you can lead the way by
example.
And as you do this, as you dothis work of connecting with
(31:23):
yourself and developing thatself-compassion and really
getting to know who you are andoperating from this place of
authentic connection, connectedto your deepest mission and
purpose, and shining your lightlike a lighthouse for the people
that you're destined to beserving, leading by example,
(31:45):
being the change that you wishto see in the world.
This is how you can make thatmeaningful impact for the people
that you know that you're hereto serve, and this is how you
can facilitate even morelife-changing results that not
only improve their lives, butthe lives of the people that
they connect with and serve, andthis creates a ripple effect in
(32:09):
humanity.
And that's why this work is soimportant for me working with
highly sensitive entrepreneursso that you can master your
sensitive skills, so that youcan fully thrive at your fullest
potential, because that's howyou can go off and have that
important and meaningful impactto the people you serve.
(32:31):
And this is how I feel I canhave the deepest impact is
helping you so that, when youare operating out of your
fullest potential, you canfacilitate even bigger impact
for the people that you areserving, and those people are
then going to be able tofacilitate a meaningful impact
for the people that they'reconnected with.
(32:52):
And this is how you can leave ameaningful legacy, and it
always starts with you, and youimpact the people around you
without even saying a word, soeven if you're not speaking to
them outside of what you say.
As you develop higher coherencewith your nervous system, heart
(33:14):
rate variability, betterregulation, you're operating
from your center, you'refulfilling your potential and
you're following your solepurpose, you will inspire, lead,
heal and contribute to thelifting of consciousness for
better well-being, health andharmony, individually and
collectively, and this reasoningis even mentioned in the
(33:38):
scientific research.
This is how important it is,and it's a truth and it's a fact
, and this is why it's yourresponsibility to own all of
this, to do this deeper innerwork, to create that positive,
supportive environment from theinside and the outside.
Leverage your sensitive giftsas skills over and above your
(34:03):
professional skills, becausethis is what gives you a leg up,
over and above what 80% of thepopulation, who are not highly
sensitive, are able tofacilitate.
This is how you make the moredeeply meaningful impact that
you know that you're here tomake for the people that you're
destined to, and this is how youwill feel most satisfied and
(34:27):
fulfilled with what you're doingfeeling energized and
passionate.
And when you feel satisfied andfulfilled, this increases your
energy, it reduces your tendencyto feel drained, and this is
how you can operate from yourfullest potential, both
physically and emotionally andspiritually to deliver that
(34:49):
greater impact that you knowthat you want to be delivering.
And success is a byproduct ofall of this.
Being well compensated for yourwork and having financial
success is part of this as well.
And the thing typically whenwe're first starting our
business, we're chasing thefinancial success, and it's
(35:10):
important what my clients.
They tend to get to this pointwhere financial success isn't
enough anymore.
Yeah, it's great, it's great toearn money, but it's just not
enough anymore.
There's something deeper thatthey want to fulfill, connected
(35:31):
with their purpose, connectedwith who they really want to be,
what they really want to bedoing and making that meaningful
impact that they know they wantto be making, while also being
financially successful.
And so that makes me think of astory of one of my clients who
had been working in a businessthat she discovered over time
did not align with her values.
It was becoming increasinglyobvious that the owner of this
(35:56):
company had the bank account astheir primary focus and that
earning money was more importantthan the service that they were
providing or the people thatthey were serving.
And my client had put hereverything into working there,
to the point of losing her ownsense of who she was and what
(36:16):
she actually wants.
But she knew that it did notfeel aligned for her to be
working in this company whodidn't actually care about their
clients and the service thatthey were providing.
They only cared about the money.
Through the work that she and Idid together, she connected
(36:38):
more deeply with her intuitivesense.
She got clear on what herpersonal mission and vision was
for herself and identified thedirection that she wanted to go,
which was actually the completeopposite direction of the
company that she was working for.
So she decided that she wasgoing to leave and started her
(37:01):
own company based on her ownpersonal vision and values and
desire to leave a meaningfulimpact for the clientele that
she serves with her work.
And since she's done that, shehasn't looked back since.
It just feels so much morealigned for her to be working in
(37:21):
that way.
Typically, what I find is, onceyou go through this process of
really connecting with who youare and going through that inner
liberation method whether it'smy particular method or whether
you've done your own personalhealing work, personal
(37:41):
development work you've had aninner awakening of some sort and
you come out the other side.
There's typically this momentwhere so many of my clients will
then look at their work andlook at their business
especially if they're anentrepreneur and go.
Something doesn't feel alignedanymore and maybe it's because
(38:06):
when you first established yourbusiness you didn't really know
what you wanted and maybe youwere operating from those
survival mechanisms like thepeople pleasing and the
perfectionism.
And now that you are operatingfrom this place of
self-compassion and positiveinner support, you can see that
maybe the ways you wereoperating in your business and
the boundaries that you had ordidn't have, and maybe the type
(38:30):
of client that you're workingwith or the type of work that
you're doing or the niche thatyou have might no longer feel
aligned to where you are now andmaybe they don't feel aligned
to your values or your missionor vision.
Or maybe you're not even quitesure what your mission and
vision is quite yet right.
Maybe you have millions ofbeautiful ideas in your head but
(38:53):
you're not quite sure whichdirection to go, and the more
you connect with your intuitionit can be helpful.
Direction to go, and the moreyou connect with your intuition
it can be helpful.
And sometimes you can't see whatyou can't yet see right.
We all have our blind spots andit can be really difficult to
see your way out of the forestwhen you're lost amongst the
trees.
And this is where it can bereally helpful to have that
(39:15):
third party perspective to helpyou see what you can't see.
And maybe to take all thepuzzle pieces that have been
scattered around and you can seethe puzzle pieces in front of
you but you don't know how theyfit together.
And this is definitely part ofthe work that we do together is
helping you connect those puzzlepieces, helping you to see the
(39:37):
perspectives that you can't yetsee.
And once you start to see them, and once you see those puzzle
pieces put together, you seethat bigger picture.
It starts to become more andmore clear.
And I always say once you seeit, you can't unsee it.
And this is the magic of thiswork.
(39:59):
A large portion of this work ishelping you see the wider
perspective, help you see whatelse is possible and help you
look at things in a differentway.
And when you change the way youlook at things, like Wayne Dyer
said, the things that you lookat change the possibilities, the
(40:19):
directions understanding whatyou do and don't want,
understanding who you really are, understanding the direction
you actually want to be going, and you might discover that the
direction you want to go looksnothing like the direction
you've been trying to forceyourself to go or the direction
that you expected that you weregoing to be going when you first
(40:42):
started on your entrepreneurialjourney or whatever journey
that you're on.
This week, I've given you sometools.
I've given you some perspectiveshifts to consider, to maybe
open up the way you're lookingat yourself and widen your
perspective to see what else ispossible for yourself.
This is also just a very tinytip of a very large iceberg.
(41:06):
Now, for some of you, you'regoing to go through these five
days and the training sessionsduring this week, and this might
be enough for you to help youmove a step forward on your
journey with your business, withyour purpose, with your mission
, with your life, and help youmore deeply connect with your
(41:27):
intuition so you can make themost aligned decisions with your
business and your life, andalso to help you most adequately
support and facilitate yourclients in having the most
impactful results that they can, because you're operating from
(41:48):
your fullest potential.
And so I've put this trainingout here so that, for some of
you, this might feel like allyou need right now and I hope
for you that this has helped youwith another step on your path
and for others.
You recognize that this is justthe tip of the iceberg and that
(42:10):
you know that there is so muchbeyond.
You know that you're on thispath of personal evolution and
self-connection and you knowthat you have these values of
operating from authenticity andintegrity and as you are growing
and awakening and healing andevolving, you know that you want
(42:33):
your business to evolve withyou.
You know that you want yourwork to feel fulfilling and
connected with your purpose andyou know that the fastest way to
get there is to have someonewalk with you on this journey to
help you see what you can't yetsee, especially someone who's
(42:53):
been on this journey andcontinues.
A highly sensitive entrepreneurwho's made the pivots and the
shifts and the adjustments tooperate my business on my terms,
aligned with my values, alignedwith my purpose and mission and
vision, and make the shifts sothat my business works for me as
(43:14):
a highly sensitive entrepreneur, so that I can operate from my
fullest potential, so that I canprovide the deepest level of
impact for the people that Iknow that I'm here to serve and
I continue to grow and evolveand my business will continue to
grow and evolve with me.
I need to lead by example, andI find that the people who move
(43:37):
the fastest and get the mostmind-blowing insights are those
who have done some preliminary, foundational work, whether it be
with a therapist or a coach orsome form of personal
development work, either withsomeone else or on their own,
and you've made progress andyou've awakened, and now you're
(43:59):
on the other side of a whole newway of operating.
And if you know, you know andit's still feeling new and
foreign and maybe not completelyfamiliar yet.
And there's this thought ofokay, so I've awakened now, now
what?
And I've often had clients whohave seen therapists and the
(44:21):
therapist told them that there'snothing more that they can do
because they're so self-aware.
And this is especially true forhighly sensitive people.
We are oftentimes reallyself-aware and here's the thing
there's always more growth, evolution, healing and coming
home to yourself that you can doeven if you are self-aware.
(44:42):
And the people that I feel mostaligned and passionate about
working with are those peoplewho do have that foundational
level of self-awareness andmaybe they've been retired from
their therapist because thetherapist is like, well, there's
nothing more I can do.
You're already reallyself-aware.
Oh, there is so much more thatwe can do, and that's the
(45:05):
difference between the medicalmodel and the approach that I
have.
This isn't just about helpingyou to get by.
This is about helping you toestablish that positive,
supportive environment withinyourself and around you, because
that's how you can operate atyour highest potential as a
highly sensitive person and youcan truly thrive.
(45:27):
The science proves it.
Can you see how much more youcan achieve beyond just getting
by?
And can you see how much morethere is beyond just making a
good income as an entrepreneur?
Right, making a solid income isimportant and that's going to
help create a sense of stabilityand security for yourself, and
(45:51):
many of the people that I workwith have already achieved that
milestone, and now they see thatthere's this deeper, more
meaningful milestones that theywant to connect with, including
doing what they're passionateabout feeling purposeful,
feeling fulfilled and makingthat meaningful impact.
This process that I've outlinedfor you here today is such an
(46:24):
important key when you come hometo yourself, understand
yourself, have compassion foryourself and you're connected
with who you are and what yourmission and vision and purpose
is for your lifetime, and youoperate from this place
unapologetically, because noteverybody's going to understand
who you are and what you want tobe doing and the type of work
that you want to be doing, andthat's okay.
(46:45):
You're not here for everybody, and this was another lesson that
I had to learn.
I've spoken about it briefly inprevious podcast episodes and
I'll probably touch on thisagain because it is an important
piece.
Right when I first started as anaturopathic doctor, I thought I
had to be here to help anyoneand everyone that shows up in
the door, whether it be theyhave a cold or they want to lose
(47:07):
weight, or they've got backpain, or they've got more
significant disease diagnoseslike cancer, or they've got an
autoimmune disease, or whetherthey're dealing with anxiety or
depression.
I mean, I'm just giving you afew general examples here, but,
as you can see, as a generalpractitioner, I was expected to
(47:28):
work with anyone and everyone,no matter where they are on
their path, no matter whatthey're dealing with, no matter
what their goals are and nomatter what they are or aren't
ready to do for themselves, fortheir own personal healing.
And, as you know from my storythat I've shared with you in
previous podcast episodes, I'vemade some major shifts.
(47:51):
This is the thing when you aretrying to be here for everybody,
you're not actually working atyour fullest potential.
You can't help absolutelyeverybody, and the more you can
hone in on what your specificabilities and skills are that
(48:12):
are aligned with what youactually want, what lights you
up inside, what's connected withyour personal purpose, that's
how you can operate from yourfullest potential.
When you decide you are here fora certain subset of the
population, not the wholepopulation, and obviously, as
(48:33):
you can see me with my work, Ifocus now on highly sensitive
people like me, particularlyhighly sensitive entrepreneurs,
but I do know that people whoaren't entrepreneurs are also
going to benefit from what Iteach here and the work that I
do.
But particularly my work is onfocusing on highly sensitive
(48:57):
people, because we make up sucha small subset of the population
and so many of us have beenconditioned to believe that we
need to be like everybody else.
We need to be like the lesssensitive 80 percent and that's
what's causing us to notfunction from our fullest
potential.
That hinders us, and part of mymessage is helping fellow
(49:20):
highly sensitive people, especially the highly sensitive
entrepreneurs, to do business onyour terms as a highly
sensitive person, because it'sgoing to be different than the
80% of how the 80% are doing it.
It's just a fact.
So today, as we wrap up thefive-day training series, I gave
you some insight about how totake some of these beginning
(49:43):
exercises and the perspectiveshifts that I've given you this
week, and how to take that sothat you can be operating a
business and live a life thatfeels most aligned for you
living life and doing businesson your terms as a highly
sensitive entrepreneur.
And how to operate from yourfullest potential and really
(50:07):
thrive in your life, in yourrelationships and especially in
your business.
When you do the things thatI've outlined for you here today
because the research provesthat it makes all the difference
in the world and when you dothese things, compared to a less
sensitive person, you're goingto see the benefits, whereas
(50:29):
they will likely not see as muchbenefit from doing any of these
things that I've outlined toyou.
That is because of what iscalled vantage resistance.
When a less sensitive personputs themselves in a positive,
supportive environment, they'renot going to see a significant
change or improvement in levelof function and thriving versus
(50:54):
the highly sensitive personbecause of vantage, sensitivity
will.
And, again, this is why itbehooves us as a highly
sensitive person which, by theway, I'm really loving that word
right now it behooves us totake responsibility and do these
things for ourselves, becauseit does put us in a position to
(51:15):
be thriving in our business, inour lives.
This is how we can make thegreatest impact that we know
that we're here to make in theworld for humanity, through
establishing a positive,supportive environment within
ourselves and around ourselves, making sure that we're doing
business on our terms, not onother people's terms, and
(51:37):
mastering your sensitive skillsand leveraging that over and
above your professional skills, because that is going to help
you facilitate an even biggerimpact for the people that you
know that you're here to serveand leave that meaningful legacy
that you know that you want tobe making, not only for yourself
, but for your lineage, forconsciousness and the people
(52:05):
around you and for thecollective.
And the more you do this, starting with you first, you can
make that impact for others.
It always starts with you and,as I've said, some of you
listening to this are going totake what you've learned this
week and run with it, and thiswill give you a piece of the
puzzle to move forward on yourpath towards achieving the goals
(52:29):
that you know you want to beachieving, feeling aligned and
fulfilled and satisfied with thework that you're doing.
And for others, you know thatthis is the tip of an even
bigger iceberg and thisresonates with you and you can
see that you want to go furtherand you want someone to help you
find that deeper level ofclarity for yourself, help you
(52:52):
to master those sensitive skillsfor yourself, help you to
deepen your level ofself-compassion for yourself and
help you to move forward, upleveling your business so that
you do leave that meaningfullegacy that you know you want to
be making with your work, thatmeaningful legacy that you know
you want to be making with yourwork for yourself and for the
world.
(53:12):
If that sounds like you, ifyou're the latter and you know
that you feel driven to keepmoving forward and this type of
approach feels aligned for youand this is what you want to be
doing, and you want to havesomeone to help you to see those
puzzle pieces you can't see andhelp you put those puzzle
pieces together that you do knowthat you have sitting in front
(53:33):
of you but you don't know whatorder they go.
This is where I come in.
I only work with a limitednumber of people at a time so
that I can operate from myfullest potential and be at my
100% for you, so that I can usemy sensitive skills to help you
put your puzzle pieces togetherand move forward and connect
(53:54):
with yourself more deeply andeffectively and help you do all
of this faster than if you tryto figure it out on your own.
It does take a level ofcommitment to yourself, to your
vision and your purpose and yourmission.
There is a level of commitmentto make in order to achieve
(54:14):
these things, to takeresponsibility for the things
that I've mentioned here today.
And when you do, magic trulydoes happen.
And if you're listening to thisand you know this to be true and
you know that you are ready forthis next step on your journey
and you're looking for someoneto guide you, there's currently
(54:34):
two ways that you can work withme.
The first way is through anintuitive business breakthrough
reading.
So with that option, it's onesession.
It lasts an hour.
You fill out a questionnairebeforehand so that I can get a
good idea of who you are, whatyour goals are and what is your
(54:57):
burning question that you wouldlike to have an answer to by the
end of your intuitive readingwith me?
And so at the beginning of thesession I ask you what is one
question that you would like tohave an answer to?
And we work through helping youto put your puzzle pieces
together so that you can see theanswer much more clearly and
(55:19):
definitively by the end of yoursession.
And then afterwards we have twodays together over Voxer so
that we can continue to getdeeper clarity.
You can ask me questions, I canhelp you process and integrate
and come up with the next actionsteps for you, the concrete and
(55:41):
practical steps for you to takein order to implement that next
step and the answer to thequestion that you had.
That's what a single intuitivebusiness breakthrough reading is
all about.
But, of course, what I see fromexperience I mean, I've been
(56:01):
working with people one-on-onefor almost 15 years and I can
see over and over again that themagic really happens over time,
when we have the time to get toknow each other.
So I can help you more fullyconnect with yourself and I can
fully get a greater sense of whoyou really are and also have
(56:22):
that time in between sessions sothat you can integrate and
process and keep evolving andthen come back at the next
session with another level ofclarity, with another level of
integration, evolved yet anotherstep and then we can work with
what comes up at that nextsession so that you can keep
(56:44):
getting that continual level ofevolution and growth and clarity
for yourself, beyond what wecan just accomplish in one
session.
The way I prefer to work withpeople is through a mentorship
and right now what I haveavailable is my 12-week business
(57:05):
on your terms, one-on-onementorship, business on your
terms, one-on-one mentorship.
The way we work in thiscontainer we meet every two
weeks on Zoom for 90 minutes andwork on another piece of the
puzzle to get you another layerof clarity for yourself.
I give you and deliver theintuitive insights that I'm
picking up through myclairvoyance.
(57:26):
You're able to see another layerthat you couldn't see before,
so that you can get those ahamoments of instant clarity that
honestly changes everything in asecond, as well as the
practical steps of how to makethese shifts, how to more deeply
connect with yourself, how tomaster your sensitive skills,
(57:47):
how to establish operatingbusiness on your terms, once you
get clarity on what it is youreally want, who it is you're
really here to be, what yourpurpose actually is and what
direction you truly want to go.
And we work through all of thattogether when we're working
together, so that you have thatclarity and that you can make
(58:10):
those shifts and moves andpivots that align your business
and your work to who you are, what you want, what your purpose
is, your mission and vision, and create that meaningful
legacy that you know that youwant to be contributing in your
work to the world in yourlifetime.
(58:33):
And we meet every two weeks onZoom and then you have
connection with me in betweensessions over Voxer, monday to
Friday, so that we can processout and hash out any ideas and
thoughts that come up in betweenyour sessions.
Get the support that you needwhenever things come up, because
(58:53):
something might come up thatyou're not sure of or you're
trying to deal with.
A decision or some event happensand it feels unclear and you're
not quite certain how tonavigate it, aligned with who
you are, where your boundariesare, and sometimes you need a
little external support to helpyou see more clearly what your
(59:15):
options are, how to move forward, and that's what the Voxer is
all about and through mentorship.
This is truly how the bigtransformations happen,
everything that I've talkedabout today and more.
If you know that what I'mtalking about today is just a
tiny tip of the iceberg and youknow that deeper stuff that I'm
(59:36):
referring to exists and you'realready navigating it, you're
already doing the work, you'vealready made some big changes
and you know there's so muchmore.
The more you do, the more yougrow, the more you evolve, the
more you connect with yourself, the more you align to yourself
(59:56):
and your intuitive knowing anduse that as your compass to
guide you along as you align toyour true north.
You know that that's where themagic happens, that's when you
feel fully fulfilled and filledwith joy and passion and energy
and love and success, and notjust success monetarily and that
(01:00:18):
, like I've mentioned, thatcomes but feeling that inner
level of success, feeling thatinner sense of inner purpose,
which is what this podcast iscalled for a reason.
Sense of inner purpose, whichis what this podcast is called
for a reason.
With mentorship, it does requirean application.
I do want to make sure thatwhoever I'm working with in
(01:00:39):
mentorship is aligned for thisparticular method and that you
feel aligned for my particularmethod as well, because that's
when the magic truly happens, when we both feel like an
aligned fit.
So again, there's those twooptions available right now to
work with me, if you want tojust check me out for one
session and get some intuitiveguidance to answer a question
(01:01:02):
and give you some practicalsuggestions to move forward on
the answer that you get moreclarity on, then an intuitive
business breakthrough readingreally helpful for that and if
you know this is your time toreally step into that next level
of your business, feelingaligned and fulfilled, every
(01:01:25):
single level that I've talkedabout here and more.
Then the business on your terms.
Three-month mentorship isdefinitely something to consider
and I invite you to fill out anapplication and you can access
information for both of theseoptions in the show notes below.
And if you have any questions, you can send me an email or a DM
(01:01:47):
and I'm happy to answer them.
So this wraps up thisparticular training series that
helped you to more deeplyconnect with your intuition and
your inner knowing so that youcould have your next intuitive
business breakthrough.
I hope that you found this tobe helpful and again, if you
hadn't signed up for the wholetraining series.
(01:02:09):
I do suggest that you do,because you will get some
additional resources andmaterial through the emails that
complement each of the episodesin this five-day training
series that's hosted on thispodcast.
I will be back for a regularlyscheduled podcast episode in the
next week or two and until then, take good care.
