Speaker 0 (00:00):
Hello and welcome to day three of your next intuitive
business breakthrough trainingseries.
I'm so excited that you're here.
If you've been following along, you know that we have been
exploring how to more deeplytrust your intuition so that you
can make the decisionsconfidently and with clarity, so

(00:24):
that you can level up in yourbusiness and align your work to
what deeply nourishes your soul.
If you haven't already signedup for this training series, I
highly suggest that you do.
You can do that using the linkin the show notes, and when you
do, you're going to receive oneemail a day for five days with

(00:45):
links to each of the podcastepisodes.
That includes a training lessontoday's day three, and you're
also going to receive additionaltraining material in the emails
.
In day one, we went over theexercise of identifying and
clarifying your green and redflag feelings and how important

(01:06):
it is to connect to thesensations in your body versus
the thoughts in your mind, because that's where your
intuition is usually going tospeak first, and the more
awareness and discernment youhave, the more you're going to
be able to pick up on intuitivesignals and messages and

(01:27):
understand what they mean.
And then, in day two, we talkedabout what is your intuition
and what isn't it.
How does it speak and how doyou discern, when you're getting
messages and signals andthoughts and ideas, whether or
not it is your intuitionspeaking or whether or not it's

(01:47):
something else, like aprotective part?
Now today we're going to betalking about your human design
chart and some keys in yourhuman design chart that can
unlock your own personalintuitive mastery.
I'm super excited about thisparticular lesson today.
If you're not already familiarwith human design, it's defined

(02:09):
as a holistic self-knowledgesystem that combines astrology,
kabbalah, myers-briggs, I Ching, quantum physics and all sorts
of really interestinginformation to help you better
understand yourself.
So it's kind of like astrologyon steroids, in a way.
Now, in my practice, I use bothhuman design and astrology

(02:34):
because each of them willprovide you with different
information, I believe, aboutyourself and your strengths and
your weaknesses and how tonavigate your challenges in life
.
And there's two aspects to yourhuman design chart that I want
to talk about today that willhelp you better understand your

(02:56):
own particular intuitive systemand how to best use it in the
way that you're designed.
If you're not already familiarwith human design, or if you've
never looked up your chartbefore, you can look that up for
free online.
I oftentimes suggest going tothe website mybodygraphcom.

(03:17):
You can look up your humandesign chart for free and then
what you're going to do is goand click on the chart
properties option.
So if you have your human designchart or you're going to go
look up your human design chart,if you're not already familiar
with your signature, your notself theme and your authority,
these are the things that youwant to look up today on your

(03:40):
chart, in your chart properties, because this is what we're
talking about today in terms ofhoning in your intuition and
better understanding how it'sdesigned for you.
So let's start with yournot-self theme and your
signature.
So your signature is how youtend to feel when things are

(04:02):
aligned for you, versus yournot-self theme tends to be how
you typically feel whensomething is not aligned for you
.
So in general, I like to callyour not-self theme and your
signature as your ultimate redand green flag feelings.
So in day one of the training,we talked about identifying your

(04:25):
red and green flag feelingsthrough memories and events in
your life that you've had andhow those events made you feel.
Now this is another way toidentify some red and green flag
feelings for you is looking atyour not-self theme and your
signature.
There are four different sets ofnot-self themes and signatures.

(04:49):
Right, so we have fivedifferent human design types.
We've got generators andmanifesting generators,
manifestors, projectors andreflectors.
I'll list off here.
Generators and manifestinggenerators will tend to have
frustration as the not-selftheme and satisfaction as the

(05:10):
signature.
Manifestors tend to have angeras the not-self theme and peace
as the signature.
Projectors tend to havebitterness as the not-self theme
and success as the signature, and reflectors tend to have
disappointment as the not-selftheme and success as the
signature, and reflectors tendto have disappointment as the
not-self theme and surprise asthe signature.

(05:33):
I myself am a generator, so thatmeans that frustration and
satisfaction are my not-selftheme and signature.
So these are my ultimate redand green flag feelings.
So when I am doing somethingthat is aligned, I'm connected
with my work, I'm connected withthe people in an aligned way

(05:54):
around me.
I'm doing what truly lights meup, I'm going to feel the
feeling of satisfaction.
And if I'm not aligned with mywork, if I'm not aligned with my
environment, if I'm doingsomething that's going against
my design, that doesn't feelaligned for me, I'm going to
feel frustration and frustration, this red flag feeling,

(06:18):
especially for generators, is asign that something needs to
change.
Now here's the thing with yourthe signature and not self theme
.
How you feel these things inyour body as a sensation and an
experience might be differentfrom another person.
So how you feel satisfactionand how that shows up in your
body and the sensations that itdelivers might be different than

(06:41):
somebody else who hassatisfaction as their signature.
And, just like you did for thered and green flag feeling
exercise, it's really importantto tune into what those feelings
actually feel like for you sothat you can recognize them when
they do show up, so that youcan say, oh, I've got this

(07:02):
satisfaction showing up rightnow and I know that feels like
warmth in my chest, for example, and when that shows up, that's
a sign for me that I'm on theright path.
Or say, for example, you mightnotice that frustration feels
like tightness in your stomachor heaviness in your shoulders,

(07:23):
and so when you feel thatfeeling, that feels frustrating,
you have this message that'sshowing up, that's saying, hey,
something's not aligned andsomething needs to change.
And the same goes for all thedifferent pairings of the
not-self theme and signature.
I'm giving you an example frommy own personal experience.

(07:45):
So an exercise that you can doto get super clear on your
signature and not self theme isto think back to situations
where you know you felt your notself theme and signature.
So say, for example, think backto a time where you felt
frustrated or angry or bitter ordisappointment, and where did

(08:07):
you feel that in your body angryor bitter or disappointment.
And where did you feel that inyour body, what sensations did
you feel when you felt thatfrustration or anger or
bitterness or disappointment.
And different events andsituations might have slightly
different feelings andsensations that are associated
with those feelings of yournot-self theme as well.

(08:28):
The same with your signature.
So also think back to when youfelt satisfied or at peace, you
felt success, you felt surprise, and where did you feel that in
your body, what sensations didyou have?
Different situations might havedifferent feelings.
It can be helpful to write notes, keep track until you truly

(08:51):
familiarize yourself with these.
So that's area number one tolook at, at your human design
chart to better understand yourown personal intuition, right.
So to review, look at yournot-self theme and your
signature and those are yourultimate red and green flag
feelings.
And the second thing that we'regoing to talk about on your

(09:13):
human design chart that can helpyou really tune into your
intuition and make the mostaligned decisions for yourself
is to look at your authority.
Your authority, and operatingin a way that you are taking
your authority intoconsideration is going to help
you make more aligned decisions, especially in your business.

(09:36):
So I'm going to give you areally quick rundown of the
different authorities, what topay attention to and how to use
this to your benefit when you'remaking decisions.
So the first authority that I'mgoing to talk about, because
it's the most common in ourpopulation, is emotional
authority.
Emotional authority comprisesabout 47 to 50 percent of the

(10:00):
population, so that's a prettybig chunk of the population.
Another name for this is solarplexus, and this happens when,
on your human design chart, ifyour solar plexus is defined and
your solar plexus is found onthe right hand side, it's like a
brown triangle.
Your solar plexus is whereemotions are.

(10:22):
When it is not defined, youpick up on everybody else's
emotions.
My solar plexus is not defined,so I can definitely say that
that is true.
If you have an emotionalauthority, it means that that
solar plexus is defined so thatit's colored in brown, and what
that means is you don'tnecessarily pick up on other

(10:44):
people's emotions, but whathappens is you have this
experience of feeling waves ofemotion within yourself as you
move through your day.
So, as you move through yourday, you're going to be it's
kind of like a roller coastergoing up and down.
You're going to have all thesedifferent emotional waves and
all kinds of nuances that comewith experiencing all the

(11:07):
different highs and lows of allthe emotional waves that you
move through and, as you do, youpick up information over time
as you move through all of thesedifferent emotions.
If you have an emotionalauthority, this is really
important for you to take yourtime making decisions.
You need to have emotionalclarity before making a decision

(11:30):
and it's really helpful to movethrough a whole series of
emotional waves and pick up allthe information that comes with
all of the waves before making adecision.
And this is where that termsleep on it actually is to your
benefit.
If you have an emotionalauthority, take the day to feel

(11:50):
your feelings, pick up all theemotion that comes with it as
you're making your decision.
How does that decision feelwith all the different emotions
that you move through, sleep onit and then see how you feel
after you've moved through allof those feelings, how you feel
about that decision and whetheror not they're big or small
decisions.

(12:11):
You might need smaller orlarger periods of time.
So if you've got really smalldecisions to make, you know you
might only need to give yourselfa few minutes or a few hours of
moving through sitting withemotion before you find some
clarity.
Sleeping on it is really goodfor larger decisions and if

(12:31):
you've got really impactful,life-changing decisions to make,
give yourself at least a weekto come to clarity and move
through all the differentemotions that come through and
that you ride during that week.
If you don't wait, if you feelrushed to make a decision, and
especially if you make adecision when you're on an
emotional high and you haven'tfelt all the different types of

(12:53):
emotions, you might find thatyou regret the decision later,
especially if later on you're inan emotional low and then
you're sitting with all theregret.
You might find that if you makea snap decision without feeling
through it all, then you mightfind with that decision that
you've made that nothing feelslike it's working out, nothing

(13:14):
feels right.
But here's the thing is, you'llprobably never get to 100%
certainty on a decision if youhave emotional authority.
But if you can get yourself to70 to 80% certain, you can trust
that it's aligned for you right.
And the reason for that isbecause you have to move through
so many emotions and with thedifferent emotions you might be

(13:34):
feeling and thinking differentthings.
Take that time to ride thehighs and lows of your emotional
wave so that you arrive to aneutral point where you feel
mostly decided.
So that's emotional authority,or solar plexus authority, and
probably most of you listeningto this will probably fall into

(13:57):
this category because it makessuch a large percentage of the
population.
The second most popular categoryis sacral authority.
That makes up about 29 to 35percent of the population and
most people who have a sacralauthority are either generators
or manifesting generators.
I, as a generator, have asacral authority myself.

(14:19):
So sacral authority is allabout gut decisions.
It's usually instant, it's likegut knowing, and usually
there's some sort of likeguttural sound that can be
associated with this.
You've probably heard thisbefore if you know anything
about human design.
A guttural sound, for example,is like uh-huh or uh-uh.

(14:43):
It can be really helpful totune in to that sound, verbalize
the sound or mentally verbalizethe sound and see how it feels
when you say it.
So for me, when I first startedlearning about this, I would say
it out loud and I would get areally good sense as to when I

(15:04):
would say uh-huh or uh-uh, whichone was the thing that
instinctively felt right for meto say, depending on the
decision.
And so now I don't actuallyverbalize uh-huh or uh-uh, I say
it in my head Because I've hadsome practice with it.
It's enough for me to be ableto connect with my sacral and

(15:26):
understand which one feels mostaligned.
Now this is the thing is, ifyou think about like uh-huh and
uh-uh, so many of us, especiallyas children, have been
conditioned to believe that it'sreally rude to say uh-uh or
uh-huh, right, and so many of ushave, especially if we are
sacral, have been deconditionedto trust our sacral because

(15:50):
we've been programmed to believethat it's rude to say uh-huh or
uh-uh.
So part of your work, if you dohave sacral authority, if you
are not connected to gutturalsounds, if you've deconditioned
yourself away from trusting them, is to practice and give
yourself permission to say thesethings without thinking that

(16:11):
it's rude.
It can be helpful to practiceconnecting to your sacral
response with safe people, people that you know aren't
going to judge you or aren'tgoing to try to change your mind
, is to get them to ask you yesor no questions.
And connect with that gutfeeling.
Use your uh-huh or uh-uh andpractice.
Use obvious yes or no questionswhere you already know the

(16:35):
answer to it already first, andthat will help you to really get
used to trusting that gutturalfeeling.
And as you do and as youpractice, the feeling will
become more and more obvious toyou.
And here's something to considerif you have a sacral authority,
if you have any hesitation ingenerating a response, the

(16:58):
answer is probably no right, especially because so many of us
have been playing out patternsof people pleasing and shoulds,
like, oh, but I should be doingthis, and so we can tend to
override that sacral response.
We want to say uh-uh, but whatare people going to think?
They're going to getdisappointed, but I should be

(17:20):
doing this.
It just makes sense, right?
So then we like don't want tosay no or we don't want to say
uh-uh, so we just kind ofhesitate and we don't give a
response likely, the answer isno.
If it's not a heck yes rightaway.
It's probably no when it comesto having a sacral response.
I've had to learn this the hardway.

(17:42):
The next authority on the listhere is splenic authority.
This comprises about 8 to 11%of the population and if you
have a splenic authority, you'reprobably a manifester or a
projector.
Splenic authority is the mostintuitive.
You are deeply connected withyour intuitive sense of
awareness and you get like thisinstant hit of knowing.

(18:04):
So here's the thing about thesplenic authority the spleen
will speak to you once.
It'll say it once and it'sgoing to move on and, just like
I mentioned in yesterday'slesson about the voice of your
intuition, it's going to speaksoftly, it's not going to yell
at you, it's not going to beforceful, it's going to be
gentle, it's going to be softand it's going to say it once.

(18:26):
So it's really important foryou to pay attention and
recognize when your intuition isspeaking, how it speaks, and to
trust it, because it's notgoing to keep repeating.
Now here's the thing withsplenic authority especially
when you don't fully trust yoursplenic authority is that you
might notice that you get thisspontaneous ping of inner

(18:47):
intuitive knowing, but then yourmind takes over and you've got
all these fear-based questionsand doubts and worries?
You're second guessing thequiet, intuitive response, and
so it's really important to Apractice, trusting that gentle
voice that's showing up as yourintuition, and to tell your mind

(19:12):
to take a backseat instead ofdelving into doubtful
questioning.
So, as a reminder, you are notyour thoughts, you are the
observer of your thoughts, and Iknow this can be a practice and
I don't have the time, unfortunately, to go into it in
today's lesson but you caninstruct your thoughts to take a

(19:33):
backseat.
The more you trust that initialintuitive ping, the more
aligned your decisions will be.
The next authority isenvironment or no inner
authority, and this is about 1.6to 3.5% of the population.
If you have environmentalauthority or environment

(19:55):
authority, then being in theright environment is so, so, so
important for you.
Most of your centers below thethroat are going to be open, so
you're picking up on things inyour environment, and if the
environment you're in is wrong, that means that the people in

(20:15):
your environment are also goingto be wrong.
They're not going to be alignedand you need to be speaking to
people as sounding boards tohelp you speak out your decision
.
So you need to be connected tothe right environment so that
you can be connected to theright people.
So, first and foremost, youmust always ask yourself if

(20:36):
you're in the right environment.
Does it feel aligned?
And this is where tuning intoyour green and red flag feelings
is super important, especiallyyour ultimate green and red flag
feelings, those being yoursignature and your not-self
theme.
And then put yourself in theright environment and then first

(20:59):
receive guidance from sensoryinformation from the environment
around you.
Pick up on the sensations andthe feelings that you're getting
to help you to make yourdecision, and then use other
people who are in this rightenvironment as sounding boards.
Use them as a sounding board sothat you can hear your own
voice.
You don't need other people topresent you with a solution.

(21:22):
They just need to be presentfor you as you speak it out, so
you can hear yourself, processout, so that you can make the
best decision for yourself.
A self-projected authority isabout 1.7 to 2.8 percent of the
population.
This is also important for youto speak out your thoughts and

(21:43):
your truth.
If you have a self-projectedauthority, you need to speak out
loud your thoughts to somebodyelse and to make sure to let
them know.
Hey, I don't need a solutionfrom you.
I just need you to sit andlisten so I can talk through
this.
And when you talk through this,it's really important not to
filter what you say.

(22:04):
Let it all come out.
Don't try to control it.
Don't try to filter it.
Let it all come out so you canhear it.
Try to filter it.
Let it all come out so you canhear it as you're hearing
yourself speak.
Don't use your mind to make thedecision.
Just embrace listening to whatyou're saying without thinking
about it or relying on your mind.

(22:24):
Speak it out and you will see,as you just speak it out without
trying to assess it, thatyou're going to figure it out as
you're speaking.
So the next one is ego authority, and this is about 1 to 1.3% of
the population, and with egoauthority, there's a lot of
spontaneity in the moment withyour movements.

(22:45):
The voice of your ego willspeak or move the body if you
allow it to do so, and so it'sabout trusting the movements
that your body justinstinctively wants to do, as
well as trusting the words thatcome out that you're speaking.
And again, just like withself-projected authority, you

(23:08):
don't want to control what'scoming out of you.
Just speak unfiltered andlisten to it.
Get out of your head.
Don't allow your thoughts tooverride your body and your
voice.
Just trust that it will cometogether as you speak and as you
allow your body toinstinctively move.

(23:28):
And then, finally, is the lunarcycle authority, and this makes
up about 0.7 to 1.3% of thepopulation.
So there's not many, and thisis because anybody who has a
lunar cycle authority is goingto be a reflector, and
reflectors only make up about 1%of the population, right?
So if you are a reflector, youhave no defined centers.

(23:51):
Your chart looks completelywhite.
There is no centers that arefilled in with any colors, and,
as a reflector, you are a mirrorto your environment.
So it's really important tofind people and places that
bring you delight, ease, joy anda sense of surprise right your
signature and that don'tdisappoint you.

(24:13):
Right, because that's yourultimate red flag feeling.
Now, with a lunar cycleauthority, what's really
important for you is that themoon has a particularly strong
impact on you.
It can be really helpful, especially with big decisions.
Make those decisions over timeas you allow a complete and full

(24:35):
cycle of the moon.
So, especially with bigdecisions, wait 28 and a half
days.
Wait through the full lunarcycle is going to help you to
make the most aligned decisionthat feels best for you, and
it's kind of like with theemotional authority that I
mentioned.
The first one right, you haveto move through a full wave of

(24:59):
emotions before you come to adecision.
If you have a lunar cycleauthority, it's optimal for you
to move through an entire fulllunar cycle before you make your
decision.
My mother-in-law is a reflectorand has lunar cycle authority
and, of course, I've explainedall about this to her.
She agreed that the moon playsa huge role for her and she

(25:24):
always feels distinctly drawn tothe moon, and she told me that
when she needs to make a bigdecision, she'll go out in the
evening when the moon is out andshe'll sit under the moon and
look at the moon while she'spondering her decision.
And I think that's beautiful,that she's connected with her
design without knowing anythingabout it, and I do find that

(25:46):
this tends to happen.
And what I love about humandesign is it's just a helpful
confirmation so that you cantrust these things about
yourself instead of questioningthem or thinking oh you know, is
this actually true, is this athing?
This is how I think I'm working, but I'm not sure.
Understanding your design canbe helpful to confirm these

(26:08):
things.
You already know Now what Ialways tell my clients take
everything with a grain of salt, take what you need, leave the
rest behind.
If there's something thatdoesn't feel aligned for you,
you need to follow what feelsgood to you and what feels
aligned.
However, what I do tend to seeis, when I do explain these
concepts of your authority, yournot-self theme, these concepts

(26:34):
of your authority, your not-selftheme and your signature in
terms of you connecting moredeeply with your intuition and
how to most optimally makealigned decisions for yourself,
I have not encountered anyonewho doesn't feel that this fits
for them.
Hopefully, this gives you somehelpful information to continue
to more accurately connect withyour intuition and make more

(26:56):
aligned decisions for yourselfin your life, in your
relationships, in your business.
And the more and more youconnect with these things, the
more you're going to get closerto giving yourself that next
intuitive business breakthroughyou're looking for, so that your
work can feel deeply andnourishingly aligned to your

(27:20):
deepest soul purpose, while youmake the biggest and most
meaningful impact with your workand, of course, receive
abundant financial success whiledoing it.
So that's it for the day threetraining lesson.
