The South Dakota Department of Transportation counts vehicles entering the rally at nine locations. The count is used to help determine the attendance at the rally. The rally count has been pacing ahead of the five-year average since day one.The DOT said 59,414 vehicles entered the rally on Wednesday, day six. The 85th Anniversary six-day total is 11% higher than the five-year average of 334,934.
