While the PS5’s offerings of a new controller experience, Miles Morales, and Demon’s Souls are quite alluring… the sheer quantity of games in the Xbox Series X backward compatible library combined with Game Pass is undeniably cool as well. However, the Series X and the PS5 both had some hardware and software issues right out of the gate which certainly makes one reconsider trying to be an early adopter.  Unfortunately, both the new Xbox and the new PlayStation are still incredibly tough to buy, so there hasn’t been any progress made on that front… but when you really stack them up which console had the smoother launch?
