Welcome to Episode 149 of the Inside Groove Show, the nation's premier Supermodified and Northeast short track podcast hosted by Tom Baker and produced by Steering Wheel Nation.
For 8 years the "Mow For Dough" was a part of Oswego Speedway's Budweiser International Classic Week. A lawn mower race that started with an off-handed comment and turned into a little more than anyone bargained for, provided some hilarious entertainment at the track and raised a tidy sum of money for charity in the process. Co-Founder Larry Trenca shares some crazy stories about this event and talks about some of his favorite classic moments in this episode.
Baker shares his thoughts on the "Mister" triple-header that saw Otto Sitterly pick up the Mr. Supermodified win, Josh Sokolic become Mr. 350 Supermodified and Alex Hoag put his No. 41 in victory lane for the Mr. SBS title. He also looks ahead to what might be the largest field of big block supermodified classic entrants in years.
