As parents, we are presented with numerous decisions we must make for the well-being of our children. Some of these decisions are major, like how we plan on approaching schooling, and others are more minor, like how we decide to respond to our kids during a tantrum. Regardless of the size of a decision, each one drastically affects how our children develop and the type of person they will become.
In this episode, my guest, Kevin Corey, provides insight into how his personal and professional experience as a yoga and meditation teacher affects his style of parenting. Kevin discusses the importance of embracing authenticity, encouraging vulnerability in men, and adopting a community-oriented approach to family life. The discussion also touches on his decision to homeschool as a means of being actively involved in his children's life experiences, from birth to schooling. This episode highlights the importance of parents allowing children to navigate their emotions, developing resilience, and serving as a positive inspiration by living authentically and being present.
