Los Angeles’s son, Robert Vargas street artist extraordinaire.
An artist who has changed the face of street art. Not only with his large scale works but his live events. It features random subjects drawn rapidly and free hand by him, and collected for a future publication.
His best-known works include The Dirt Mural of Motley Crue, Together We Stand featuring the late Kobe Bryant, and his iconic Long Live The King featuring the late Eddie Van Halen. Our conversation took place in front of his four-story mural on Spring Street in the heart of downtown L.A. where Our Lady Of DTLA looks upon her city.
We continue our conversation concerning his brilliant work, and how feels about his creations.
