Inspiration from Unity of Fairfax

This Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent - the 4-week period of spiritual preparation for Christmas.  Each week has a theme, and this week's is either Hope or Faith depending on one's perspective.  In Unity, we celebrate both!

It's not enough to say "Thank you" for good received. As spiritual beings having human experiences, we honor the Spirit within as we embody the consciousness of gratitude in our whole being. That's our focus this Sunday at Unity of Fairfax.

Do you feel something powerful when the house says, “Hallelujah”? This joyful acclamation is an acknowledgment of God’s presence and serves as a reminder that we are never alone. Inspired by the song “Hallelujah Today” by Denise Rosier, this week’s Unity Awakening message from Rev. Russell Heiland is a celebration of Spirit in our hearts and in the world.

Wisdom seems to be something we associate with chronological age. The older we are the more wisdom we have. As we live and grow by means of the Christ consciousness within us, Universal Wisdom is ours at any age.
