Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, I'm doing good. I'm doing good.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
And then I always good. It's always good to being
a room with two beautiful ladies.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah yeah, oh yeah, I guess yeah. Ready to just
have some fun chit chatting yep. And then I just
want to congratulate both of you all for launching y'all
first podcast together. Thank you, Yeah, no problem, no problem.
And then so what made you all the sad the
start shot own podcasts together?

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Well?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
I had been on some of Rodes's podcast a couple
of episodes and he said it did really good and
the people were feeling it. So we decided to like,
why not do it together?

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Okay? Cool? Cool?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Because I did listen to you'all episodes together. Yeah, I did.
I think it was called I forgot I forgot the
name of it, but you all was talking about your
vacation y'all took yeah vacation. There you go. Yeah, that
was actually one of my favorite episodes. Yeah, I'm like
right then and there it was for you all to
do it and I and I said it too, like
why not start your own podcast together?

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Yeah, it was kind of like the Canalysts.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, I'm like, yeah, because that was a good episode
that I really enjoyed.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I watched it.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I listened to it from beginning to end. Oh man,
oh yeah, not no problem, no problem. And then so
with this podcast, what are some of the topics that
you are gonna discuss.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Well, it's gonna be various topics, so anywhere from like nostalgia,
things that you know, life experiences, common things that we
you know, things we have in common, things we don't
have in common, just a variety of things. Okay, okay, Yeah,
it's not gonna be just one topic.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Is that just multiple topics?

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Okay, And so now about how many guests do you
all have lined up to make an appearance on the platform.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Well, right now we're just focusing on just doing it together.
But right now we kind of just want to put
our little story out there.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Okay, nice okay, okay, and so, and I do love
the name of the podcast, What's Popping Podcast? And I
was wondering that you all have any other names for
the podcast. Oh, that was the first name you all
came up with.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
That's pretty much the first name we came up with.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Okay, Yeah, I like that too, because I know he
has a segment on his podcast about What's Popping. So
I guess it made sense.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
Okay, okay, And we're gonna have some good segments on
this podcast, so it ain't gonna be like every week
the same segment.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Segments every episode.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
That's like one.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
Of the segments that we got that she came up
with is jim few.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
You said, that's the acronym m f U.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Gm F you okay, yeah, okay, I like that.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
I like that, Yes, yes, yeah, yes, something interested. So yeah,
that'd be cool. Then and then so how long did
you all have this podcast plan for?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Maybe like a few months ago?

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Okay, after he.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Was like, I think we should do a podcast. After
we did a couple of episodes together, m H episode,
I was like, you know what, let's do it.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Exactly might as well, okay, okay. And so now that
you all face any challenges preparing for the podcast or
was this pretty much straight on?

Speaker 5 (05:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:51):
We yeah, we faced challenges all.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
We were both kind of like the oldest and I
can't tell her what to do.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
She can't tell me what they do.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Reading on all the topics that we're gonna talk about,
I don't know what he's talking about.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Oh oh oh all right.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
So one of the one of the segments is he said,
she said.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Oh, I'm gonna be right all the time.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Show you're right, show you right.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, yeah, that sounds interesting already. You know, I wish
the episode was out right now so I can listen
to it.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Oh, well this this Saturday.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
Out and it's gonna be a big surprise because she
recorded the episode when she.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Kicked me out there out Oh no, kick me out?

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Wow, yes, you just put them out.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
Well quit the show that day.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
M m.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Ain't nobody.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Juter, he's the jokester.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
So how many episodes do you all have lined up already?
Because you know, some people playing ahead or some people
go with the episodes as they go.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Well, we actually have six.

Speaker 5 (07:33):
Plan oh wow, okay, and a podcast is gonna be
bi weekly, but we got six.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
We got six playing a six like in a stash.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
Okay, all what we're gonna do?

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Got you? Got you?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
And then what makes this podcast significant? Like what should
the listeners expect from this podcast?

Speaker 3 (08:00):
They're gonna see variety mm, different topics, different segments every
time we post up on our podcast. So it's gonna
be fun.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Okay, okay, nice, Okay, Well I'm I'm definitely gonna be
looking forward to listening to it.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
And then, now, do you all have any dream guests
or guess you I would like to have on the
show eventually?

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Donald uh, Donald Trump, and I like to I'd like
to talk to both of up.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
How he gonna be talking.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
To Brandon Jonathon because I'm gonna stole Marcado City on
mere truck.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Mhmm, yeah, that that would be crazy.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
Now I would like to talk to Brandon Johnson so
I could get him some discipline.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Oh yeah, yeah. What about Prixner.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Fell prid.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
It's like he already.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Rich, looks like a boot leger Kennedy, he'll never be president?

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Uh uh? Why any other future guess the sads politicians.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Politicians for me?

Speaker 5 (09:40):
Well, we don't really, I don't think it's gonna be
a guest driven show because the conversations that we have.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Can't nobody, can't nobody take this girl.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
But it ain't gonna be no bands own the show,
so it's just gonna be like regular real stuff, you know.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Okay, Okay, well then that's cool, man, that's cool. Now
do you all plan on doing any laugh in person
episodes where you film at various venues across the city
or different cities where you could get that in person
interaction with the fans.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Oh look, I'm gonna tell you this right now.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Uh huh.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
We've beenking so much good feedback and publicity and opportunities,
but I'm gonna have to kidnap Hut and make.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Her go, oh my gosh, you know she sure?

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Yeah, I'm like.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
You know, people, somebody called in and was like, man,
I can tell y'all real. I can't wait to hear
y'all show. People been leaving voice messages and everything, and
we recorded an episode.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Yeah, so that it's gonna blow up in watch how
many streams should I get when the first come out?
And now you all going to be uh with spreaker
as far as your distributor.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Goes, no, wow, don't go. We're probably gonna go with.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
Wherever my baby want to go, but I think it
might be RSS speed okay.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Yeah, and then so what are the benefits with that
distributor versus any other distributor.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Man, you only need ten downloads to good monetized. Wow,
they got good hosts, read opportunities.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
They got good two's as well.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
And put it this way, if my podcast was a
car right now, it would be baby evently okay, three
thousand and thirty five. Wow, So that's how beneficial they

(12:08):
been for me so far.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Well, that's good. Then that's good. But as far as
that last question, so imagine if you all do do
a live person episode, how many tickets I will sell?

Speaker 4 (12:21):
We'll see a lot.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
One thing that we was thinking about doing, like for Christmas,
is having a Christmas special and we put it like
on even or something, okay, because.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
We know how to get that money. But it ain't
real the money for us.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
It's about giving the people something exclusive without us like.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
With us getting something in.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Return, exactly. And that's how I feel about podcasting myself.
I'm not doing it for the money. I'm doing it
for the love, you know. That's why I did too,
because it's like, why not talk about positive things, whether
it's inspiration or you all know I'm a wrestling fan,
why not talk about wrestling either. So I mean, it's
just all about love and spreading those positive topics. Though

(13:13):
the money and all that stuff will follow, but it's
all about you know, your dedication to it right now,
that's hard.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
If you love it, it'll love you back. Yeah, you
back organically?

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Is it will? And that's what it's all about. Organic
because you have some people that they want the money
right away, but it's like, you got to put in
the work for it. You got to keep putting those out, got.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
To put in the work.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
And the more consistent you are, the more successful you are.
So we will be driving episodes every two weeks, okay, faithfully,
So if it's Christlin, it's or holiday, you're still going
to episode because we don't have to physically be online

(14:04):
now you don't.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
And then it's going to be of course every bid
weekly on Saturdays, right yeah, okay, okay, nice? Nice now?
And now how you are going to manage what's popping
and ride his live at the same time.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
So, like me, a lot of people don't understand that
my work ethic is so crazy. But I get a
lot of breaks, that's what people don't know. Every week,
but maybe in a month, I might be recording maybe
like ten or fifteen episodes, okay, and I just schedule them. Why,

(14:42):
I really focus on the content.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
And yeh is that and that's smart to do it
that way too, So that way you don't have to
worry about it. Just release it and you done.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
Yeah, And then I want have problems with you know,
things that's happening on a day, that day I wouldn't
get I don't get sucked into that vacuum of things
that's happening in society every day exactly.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, because the world gonna be the way it is.
And I think my dad made up a good saying,
don't worry so much about the world, worry about what
you have going on, because the world is gonna be
the way it is.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
I change the world, but you can change your health.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
That's so true. That's so true, And that's what I
think podcasting do. It's like it kind of like zones
you out in a good way to focus on positive topics.
It's therapeutic, it is very very And then you get
guests on there. I mean you could talk about whatever
you want to talk about.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
Yeah, I look forward to hearing your episode all the
time because I know I'm gonna get something good.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
I appreciate it. I appreciate it, and I love it though.
I love the guests on there and then all of
the topics I talk about out So yeah, and I'm
really looking forward to this episode because it's something new.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
Yep, yep.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
And then what advice would you all give to anyone
looking to launch a podcast with their significant other?

Speaker 5 (16:12):
Well, you want to go first, I'll go first.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Uh, treat it. Treat it like the relationship.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
You have to be selfless, you know, you have to
be considered that consider it of each other's ideas and times.
I would say, get a day one day out of
the week that you're gonna work on the podcast, but
throughout the week, got the content and bring it to.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
The table pretty much. Work together as a team, okay,
and our ideas together. Put the ideas together.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Okay, classic, Okay.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I do it because you know what they say, teamwork
the dream work. Now, so you so you got to
be willing to do that, and then it'll be a
success because I already know it's gonna be a success
because I see how consistent you are, what you are
with releasing episodes. Now, how long do you all think
it'll take for you want to get to two hundred
episodes of What's Popping?

Speaker 5 (17:19):
So it's fifty two weeks. It's fifty two weeks in
a year, So it's gonna be twenty six episodes a year,
So that'll be about except eight years.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Wow, I think y'all gonna do it less than I mean,
y'all gonna do it before then, because ye, I'm sure
y'all gonna do bonus episodes, right, yeah, now that is
an episode.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
We're gonna do bonus episodes.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Yeah, don't behave and the bonus ain't gotta be long.
Give they could be fat at ten minutes and that's it.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
Like for example, when I get a bonus episode of
Inspired the Discussions, I'll be happy because I don't expect that.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
I like doing that. Drop stuff out of nowhere where.
Ain't nobody expecting it? You just the notification, that's that.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
The feedback. The feedback shows if you look at the string,
like what, I can't believe people.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Talking about Prince exactly, I know. And then to see
where you're getting international streams, that means a lot, because
when I was seeing some strings from the UK, Ukraine,
I want to say Italy in Hong Kong. It's like, man,
that's crazy. I wasn't even expecting that.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
That means. That means that you're doing your job, described
doing their.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
Job exactly, yep, yep.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
I mean, it's a lot of good distributors out here.
But I'm with Spreaker myself, and so far, so good.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
Ain't they good? Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
It's like they try to pay you at the door,
and I like the fact that they automatically add adds
to your show.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Yeah that's good, that's good.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
Yeah, uh huh. So the podcast might be out on
Spreaker or it might be out on RS Speed. But
one thing about us, uh huh. We both got our
own minds. If she say no, I don't want to
be bothered with that because this that the other. I
would let her do that because she got a good reason, right,

(19:31):
no reason to second because anything that she do or say, yeah,
trust her yep, yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
This line, uh yeah. But other than that, I'm looking
forward to your show too. I'm hey, oh what time
is it dropping on Saturday? You said midnight? Okay, okay,
So when I wake up, I see an episode, Okay,
listen to an episode? Okay.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
Yeah, so Friday, Friday night at twelve on one.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Yeah, it's gonna be out all streaming platforms.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
All streaming platforms.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Okay, okay, that's good. All right, So now we're gonna
have some fun.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Now.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Now we're gonna play would you rather go? So I'm
gonna name two things or two events, and then you
are just tell me which one what you all want
to go to?

Speaker 4 (20:34):
All right?

Speaker 2 (20:36):
So question number one? Would you rather go on the
cruise together? Or would you rather go to a Sandos resort?

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Almost resort? We've been on many cruises, you said, I'm
side of the cruises.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
What happened with that last cruise? Alicia didn't get left though?

Speaker 4 (21:02):
Sandals?

Speaker 2 (21:04):
He said, We ain't doing no cruises all right. So now,
but you will rather rent a sling shot or rent
a corvette corvett? Okay, y'all gonna keep a classic.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
We're gonna keep this same.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Yeah, ain't got time. You're down on the ground.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
That's some.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
Yeah, you said, Okay, okay, now, but you will ride
to go to Paris friends or Barcelona Spain.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Oh I'm gonna say Paris because I haven't been.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
I've been to Paris and Barcelona, so if I was Barcelona, I.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Ain't never gon gotta go to Paris?

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Right France? Parents, France?

Speaker 3 (22:04):
Put all your stuff phone box, so you know, get
pig poe.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
The airport in Francis bad.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
But the food and they of it is amazing.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Oh yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure. Then too, you get
to go to the Eiffel Tower, hopefully the elevator be working.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Okay, okay, So what you will rather go? Ziplining or
scuba diving?

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Zipliner?

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Okay, yeah, I couldn't do I couldn't do that one, No,
thank you. M hmm see I take the zipliner.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
Just my luck they got high Karen.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
That yeah, no.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Uh ain't got sign for that. Okay. So would you
will rather take a walk on the beach or take
a walk at the park? H okay? Now what you
a would rather go to the movies and out to
eat or would you have to go to the lounge?

Speaker 4 (23:07):
I think movies then movies?

Speaker 2 (23:10):
He ain't doing.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
You got we got in yourself with Frank.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Sure, if you go to the lounge, everybody gonna be there.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
You gotta look at it like this, uh huh.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
You know you need to enjoy, enjoy and make moments
where you pay the live.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
You need to go out and pay people crazy people.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
Yeah, it's like you don't even get the service that
you're supposed to get.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
Yeah, they probably don't want to give you no food,
drink or nothing. They just said he'll take it and
keep them moving. Oh yeah, nah, I don't know. You
got to make me another drink? This, ain't it?

Speaker 4 (24:08):
So?

Speaker 2 (24:09):
But you are rather go on the road trip or what?
You are right to take a flight? Like you say,
ain't got signing on driving.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
We have been on road trips and that was fun. Yeah.
We went out of town on the road for some
shows and that was the Oh.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
Yeah, I'm sure you know you got your music blasting
and you just getting ready to perform. So yeah, yeah,
all right. So what you are rather go bowling or
to the escape room? Said bowling?

Speaker 6 (24:42):
Yeah, but I'll go bowling for some general and yeah, yeah,
the escape room is a lit too.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
I've done it a few times. But yeah, bowling is
cool too. Yeah, it'd be challenging, know, so you got
to keep on asks for clothes and stuff and then
you finally get it. So yeah, it's cool though. So
what you all rather have? Lobster risotto? Or what you
all rather have? Grill steak with mashed potatoes and gravy

(25:16):
with the sparagus for at home date night?

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Mm hmmm, I'm going with the steak and gravy, he said,
meet hump more medium wrapped.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Yeah yeah, okay, cool, that's.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
The wrong way our whole life.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Hopefully they give y'all the right portion for your money too,
whatever y'all buy at the grocery store because they be
kind of skimpyhawk right yeah, all right, So last question,
so would you rather have what you all rather have
dinner at with candles around the table or sitting near

(26:08):
the fireplace with dinner fire place fireplace?

Speaker 5 (26:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Okay, okay, all right, So is there anything else you
all want to leave with the listeners?

Speaker 3 (26:19):
Just be on the lookout. We're dropping on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (26:25):
