Episode two Baby Bump Buddies.
Welcome.
This is Instructions NotIncluded.
I am your host, Claude, andthis is episode two Baby Bump
Buddies.
Building a bond with your babybefore birth.
I just want to thank y'all forjoining me.

(00:56):
I know if you were here forepisode one, you're probably
going to hear some of the thingsthat you heard in episode one
in episode two, just because itall ties in together.
But stick with me throughoutthese episodes because it's
going to be more information, new information as we go along

(01:16):
that will help you build thatbond with your baby and be
prepared for this journey thatyou're going to have, that
you're on, because this is ajourney.
Trust me, this is not a short, this is no short trip.
This is a journey.
So that's what I'm here for.
I'm here to help you.
So, once again, thank you, andwelcome back to Instructions Not

(01:40):
Included.
Dad today's episode is all aboutconnecting with your little one
before they even arrive.
Yeah, you can start buildingthat bond, that special bond, in
a special way, before the firstdiaper change, and that's
basically by just makingyourself present, being there.

(02:06):
Ok, the power of prenatalbonding.
and this is that power.
Let's face it, Dads, sometimeswe get a bad rap when it comes
to pregnancy.
We might feel a little left outduring those early months at

(02:26):
times, right, but the truth isthere's tons of ways, I mean
tons of ways that you canconnect with your baby before
birth, and here's a few ideasthat I'm going to give you now.
You probably heard some of thisprior, but if this is your
first time joining me andinstruction's not included, then
great, here comes some goodtips.

(02:46):
Number one tip number one talkto your baby.
Now, it might sound silly, buttrust me, that little one can
hear your voice, so you can talkabout your day, you can sing
lullabies, you could tell them astory.
I just recommend you talk tothem because, remember, you know
you ever had that.
You know your mom says waittill I tell your dad, or yeah,

(03:11):
I'm going to tell you that.
No matter how it comes acrossfrom mom, it's something about
dad and that voice when you heardad coming.
If he's around the corner andyou hear him coming, it's like
you hear dad's voice that itcould be a little startling.

(03:34):
It's something about dads theydon't play like a fat kid at
recess.
That wasn't funny, okay.
Tip number two another goodthing is to read together.
Snuggle up with your partner, read books about pregnancy,
parenting, even children'sstories.

(03:55):
You can pick out your favoritebook if you like, but reading is
a great way to bond as well.
Another thing play music.
I said this before in theprevious episode first trimester
, second trimester and thirdtrimester I talked about this
bonding experience, especiallyduring the second and third

(04:16):
trimester.
Playing music is a great way tobond.
Studies show that playing music, your baby does respond.
When playing music, you knowyour baby may be in the womb
dancing, could be singing, couldbe smiling, could be, you know,
doing whatever but they do.

(04:36):
The babies do respond whenlistening to music.
So create a playlist.
You can create a playlist ofsome calming melodies or some
upbeat tunes.
You know it's up to you, butlet your baby listen and I can
tell you I did it with my kids, but to this day my kids don't

(04:57):
listen to none of the music Ilisten to.
They listen to their own thingand I'm cool with that.
Well, I'm not going to say noneof the music I listen to is when
I'm driving.
I throw on whatever I want tolisten to, and it could be a
book or it could be some.
You know some of my old schooljams, some music.
But when I hear them listeningto their music, totally

(05:17):
different and a big shout out toBillie Eilish for some reason,
my daughter definitely listensto her a good bit, which could
be a little dark at times, but Istill like you, Billie.
You still got some pretty goodmusic.
I had to check you out, especially after the, I think it

(05:37):
was the Wednesday movie orsomething.
One of your songs was in, butanyway, I think I got that right
.
Well, my kids love listening towhatever they listen to.
But I'm going to tell you rightnow bond with your baby while
your baby's still in the womb, create your own playlist, do
what you feel is best for yourbaby, but just know that they

(06:02):
are listening.
And all of those activitiesdon't get me wrong all of those
activities, those are fantastic.
Those are great ways to bond, which it's amazing to see your
little one you know to be ableto bond, to see them dancing,
and all of that is even better.
So, yeah, I would alwaysrecommend (Sweetface baby) 3D/4D

(06:28):
ultrasound.
I mean, that's what we come inat here at Sweet face Scans.
We offer those 3D/4D ultrasound.
So that experience goes waybeyond a simple medical scan.
These ultrasounds create athree-dimensional image of your
baby which allow you to seetheir facial features, the

(06:49):
movements, even when they yawn, when they stretch.
You see babies sticking out thetongue, flipping the middle
finger.
They're doing all kinds ofstuff throwing up peace signs,
all kinds of stuff.
Man, if you don't know muchabout it, you can check out our
website.
But there's a few key benefitsfor building that bond,

(07:09):
pre-birth bond.
There's a few key benefits.
So first is that visualization.
Just seeing your baby as a reallittle person you know, can
make you feel more connected.
It could make you feel moreinvested in their wellbeing.
Just seeing them, just.

(07:30):
I know that first glimpse that Ihad when they were, when they
were developing.
I remember getting thatultrasound from the doctor's
office and it was just just alittle peanut, little baby
moving around, a little blackand white picture.
But nowadays the technology isoff the chain.

(07:52):
You can get 8K pictures,hyper-realistic pictures, and
this shows all of just what yourbaby could possibly look like
through the technology thatsavailable.
AI creates a more detailedpicture of what your child could

(08:18):
look like, and I'll tell yousome of those pictures.
Once the baby is born is almostidentical.
It's a wonderful experience forboth the parents and family
members that you can share thatwith.
So attending a 3D/ 4Dultrasound with your partner
allows the magic, allows thatmagic to happen, for y'all to

(08:41):
share that magic together andstrengthen your bond as an
expectant parent.
Now I'm not saying you need torush out and schedule a 3D/ 4D
ultrasound tomorrow, but if youare interested in learning more
about this incredible technologyand how it can enhance your
pregnancy journey, head over tothe Sweetf ace Scans website.

(09:05):

go on there, click the link, check out the website, check out
some of the pictures and, ifyou're close, come check us out

Building a bond with your babybefore birth is all about

(09:27):
finding ways to connect.
Remember your voice, your touch, your love are all your little
one needs to feel that specialconnection.
Here's a quick quote the bondthat connects mother and child
is the thickest cord in all3D/4D.
Khalil Gibran, muhammad.

(09:49):
So thank you for that quote.
Before we get out of here, Ijust want to tell you keep
talking, keep singing, keepreading and maybe consider that
3D40 ultrasound to truly see themiracle growing inside your
partner.
Okay, definitely do thosethings.

(10:11):
And before I end this session,as always, I like to ask three
questions to the dads.
So questions for the dads.
Question number one Did youexperience any unique challenges
in bonding with your babybefore birth?
Share your tips.

(10:32):
Question number two have youconsidered getting a 3D40
ultrasound?
Why or why not?
Please share.
And question number three whatcreative ways have you connected
with your baby before birth?
That's my three questions.

(10:53):
We're going to talk about somethings that we hadn't talked
about yet on this next episode, which is episode three Daddy
Duty, essential pregnancyappointments for partners, what
to expect, what questions to ask.
So I want to thank y'all forjoining me.
Please like and subscribe.
I hope to see y'all in the nextone.

(11:24):
It doesn't come with a manual.
Yeah, you can search.
I swear back now Like Jay-Z theblueprint.
I am I now.
That's why we say I and I.
There's a unity thing, no,i-nity, we are all one, smooth
like body.
