Hello everyone and
welcome to season three episode
two of intentional spiritualliving with Brian, I am so glad
you're here. And this episode ischock full of goodness that I
think you're going to love. I'mespecially excited about this
one because we're doing candlemagic and candle magic is near
and dear to my heart. It's it'sthe thing that I practice the
(00:38):
most and the craft, it's whathas given me the most results.
And you can get real elaboratewith Ghana magic, like we do
with the shop for our events oryou can get real basic like
we're gonna do today and theresults are the same. So I think
you're gonna love putting thisto good use. We're also going to
continue our 10 part to buildyour crystal toolkit series and
(01:03):
if you recall last week, wetalked about the master crystal
of clear quartz and this weekwe're talking about Cornelia and
one of my most favoritecrystals, I can't wait to talk
about it with you. We're goingto talk about an herbal cleanse
that you can do at home. I callit a solar solar blast herbal
cleanse and what I mean by solarblast as I said, it's getting
(01:23):
rid of everything that is in ourmind and on us that is weighing
us down and kind of startingfresh if you will, and you kind
of set an intention with that wewill go over that but a very
simple but very powerful andthen finally we will do our
three part tarot card pool andsee what's ahead for the week in
front of us. So with no furtherado, we
(01:46):
have lots to talk about here.
Let's get startedKindle magic friends, let's talk
about this. This is somethingthat I have practiced in the
(02:08):
craft for decades and it's byand large, my most favorite
thing to do when it comes torituals and making things happen
in my life if you will. I'vebeen doing it my gosh with
friends since I was in my early20s maybe late teens even and I
want to share with you a basicritual today as many of you know
(02:33):
and know me we do candle magicevents at Raven's cauldron and
their two hour events and we'redoing a seven day candle number
carving sigils into it andgrinding herbs and grinding up
crystals and all kinds of pompand circumstance if you will to
do a powerful seven dayintention candle but it doesn't
(02:54):
always need to be that elaborateand that's what we're gonna do
today we're gonna is just got abasic candle, which will let's
get right into it. What do youneed to perform this at home?
You need one right red chimecandle a chime candle for those
that don't know it's just a fouror five inch, very skinny looks
like a taper candle. But it'svery skinny, not much bigger
(03:15):
around than one and a halfpencils if you will. One bay
leaf, a pencil some Carnelianchips anywhere from five to
however many you want to use asmall piece of copper, parchment
paper and a ceramic orterracotta dish and salt. Now I
like to always do dive into alittle bit of the whys when it
(03:38):
comes to doing what we do. Sowhy parchment paper why a
ceramic or terracotta dish, whya pencil not a pen. We want to
use as much earthen madematerials as possible. We really
don't want to get into usingplastics and chemically altered
(03:59):
things if you will. Nowobviously, we have a red chime
candle here that's been dyed. Sothat's not 100% natural, but we
do the best we can. So that'swhy we choose a pencil or in a
ceramic or a terracotta dish, that type of thing. The ritual
that I have designed for youguys today is a ritual for
growth, whether it would bebusiness growth, personal
growth, spiritual growth, itjust really doesn't matter. Now
(04:24):
I want to talk about workingwith deities. This is can be a
controversial subject in thecraft sometimes some people
absolutely swear by working withdeities and want to work with
multiple deities and understandthem other people find that to
be able to hooey and that's whyI got out of organized religion.
I don't want to work with adeity so you do not have to do
(04:45):
that. I choose to work withvarious deities. goddess Diana
is one of my favorites. St. Anneis another one but today we're
going to be working with theGreek goddess have faced us
That's a mouthful, just I havefaced this. And so it's the
Greek god of fire. And the onlyreal working with this deity
(05:07):
that I'm going to be doing isI'm going to be writing the name
her face just on this bayleaf. Iwill spell that to you and it is
h EPHAE. S T U S, her face, justHEPHA E S, T U S, it just the
Greek god of fire, volcanoes, blacksmithing, etc. It's also
the God of artisans, carpenters, craftsmen, that type of thing. I
(05:28):
chose to work with this deitybecause we're looking for
growth. And I chose a red candlebecause we're looking for
something that we're passionateabout that we
want to grow in. And so it's allabout expansion, if you will.
Now, I also want to talk aboutwhy I chose to work with copper.
(05:52):
So in the craft, we are all intowhat we're into runes, for
instance, tarot. Astrology is abig one. And so Sagittarius is
connected to the planet ofJupiter. Jupiter is the planet
of expansion. coppersmetaphysical energies are that
(06:12):
that encouraged people to expandtheir horizons, and encourages
more optimistic thinking, if youwill. And so the combination of
Sagittarius and copper maybewant to use copper in this
ritual, because we really wantto expand our horizons. And we
want to look at things from allangles. So if you think Taro, if
(06:35):
you're a Tarot follower, forinstance, the page of cups is a
figure that's holding a cup thathas a fish peeking out of the
cup, and the page is looking atit. Curiously, if you will, it's
all about seeing things from allangles and different views. And
hey, I never thought of it thatway. So enough about that.
(06:56):
That's why we're using copper, Ijust don't want anyone to think
that we just magically pullthese things out of the air and
decide to use them. So let's geton with the ritual. So the very
first thing I want you to do, isI want you to gather yourself
and your quiet space, whereyou're going to do this ritual
out in your house, in yourbasement, in your backyard and
(07:17):
your place of work in thebathroom, it doesn't matter
really it doesn't. Whatever youare choosing, that works for
you. Now, what I'm about to sayis gonna seem very cliche, and
you're gonna maybe roll youreyes and be like, I've heard it
1000 times clear your head andfocus on the task at hand here
today.
Goofy, right? Of course,we're stating the obvious, well,
I am the most guilty person, I'mnot doing that. Especially in my
(07:40):
younger days, I don't slow downoften. And I just want things
done. And I want them done now.
And so I might throw together aritual. And I'm 52 years old
when I was 22. And I mightgather all these materials. And
I paid far more attention togathering the materials, making
sure that it was a red candle, making sure that it was a piece
(08:00):
of copper, making sure that thebayleaf was blah, blah, blah, I
don't know, it doesn't matter.
But I was more you know, focusedon gathering the materials that
I was actually the task at hand, and then I hurry up and get the
ritual done. And then I was leftto be disappointed sometimes
when it wouldn't work. Here'sthe thing, friends, we are
asking our ancestors, theenergies around us, if we're
working with deities, it doesn'tmatter, the unseen to honor us
(08:24):
and help us on something that weneed to get done. We owe them
the energy, the deities, theancestors, our undivided
attention at a minimum, if we'reasking for something from them,
then really dedicate your everyfiber for this very short time
to get this done. So enoughabout that. Grab a bowl and fill
(08:46):
it with water, just tap waterwill do and sit it down in front
of you. And we have the saltthat we've gathered about a
teaspoon of salt is more thanenough. And look at the clarity
of that water and then pour theSalton and start stirring that
salt and it will get cloudy andit will not look as good as it
once did. And then it will ofcourse clear right back up to
(09:08):
the most clear, clear lookingwater you've ever seen. Salt is
a purifier. And so we're aboutto be purifying our tools here.
And that's what we're doing. Soonce that's done, and I saw it,
let me back up a second. So Itold you that the salt clouded
up the water and then it clearedwell that's what we're looking
for in this ritual, whether itwould be for prosperity, whether
(09:29):
it would be for growth likewe're doing today. It doesn't
matter. We're fuzzy on somethingand we need to achieve clarity
to get what we want. And so thatis kind of the very beginning of
the ritual this and thesymbolism of clearing up
cloudiness. Okay. Now we'regoing to take all of the tools
(09:49):
and we're going to purify themin this water and again, this
sounds cliche and everymetaphysical book back in the
day when we read about ritualsand stuff I can see my younger
self reading this and be like,Who has time for that? If you
are to believe which you'relistening to this podcast, so
I'm sure you do have energies, negative energies following us
around, then it makes perfectsense. Someone made that chime
(10:14):
candle it was never read it waswhite. And then we had to die,
they had to dye the wax red, somebody made the cotton in the
metal in side the wick, thatcould have been in a bad mood.
The person that put the waxtogether that was setting up the
machinery that day just got adivorce, for instance, and
they're just really cantankerousand cranky, and they touched
(10:35):
your candle, or the dish thatyou're using any of the stuff,
we are Claire, we are purifying, and putting it to our good use.
And so what that simply means isthat we are clearing out any
energy that was attached tothat, whether good or bad, it
doesn't much matter. It justmatters that all these tools are
all about our use at this exacttime. So that's why you cleanse.
(10:59):
And I used to always skip thispart as well, because it's just
how I was cleanse all the tools, which is the candle that
Carnelian ships, the copper, thedish, et cetera, and then leave
them to drive naturally. Onceeverything is cleansed and dry,
we can get started. So I wantyou to take a hold of your
bayleaf. And at the top of thebayleaf. If you're choosing to
(11:20):
work with the god or goddess, you can write her faces on
there, like we talked about. Andthen I want you to write your
intention on the bayleaf aswell, you'll have to write
pretty small. I always like togive an example because some
people get lost and they want toknow Okay, give me an example of
an intention. So an example ofan intention that I would write
maybe if I wanted to grow in myspirituality, for instance, I
(11:41):
would just say something sobasic as I need to grow in my
spiritual path. I want a solidand prosperous spiritual life.
Let me repeat that, again, Ineed to grow in my spiritual
path. I want a solid andprosperous spiritual life.
That's all I would write, cutand dry and it's exactly what we
want. So once you do that, thenI want you to place the bayleaf
(12:04):
with that message tied down onto the plate that you are
sitting at on on top of thatbayleaf then I want you to put
the piece of copper directly ontop of it once that's in place,
light your red candle. Once theflame has stabilized, tip it to
the left or right to drip two orthree drops of the red wax onto
(12:26):
the copper. And immediately oncethe wax hits the copper placed
the chime candle on top of thecopper and let it dry. What
we're doing there is attachingthe candle to the top of the
copper and the wax is justholding it in place. Why would
we do something like this? Well, the flame is going to pull the
energies below it. And so whenyou do candle magic, you're
(12:48):
infusing the wax the wick thethings under it, and then it
gets pulled out and releasedinto the universe that we're
pulling up the intention fromthe bayleaf. And then we are
pulling in the goodness of thecopper and pulling it up through
that candle and out into theuniverse. I also wanted to say
when you're dealing with bayleaves and why we work with bay
(13:10):
leaves in the craft, if you wereto look at tarot decks because
Taro is near and dear to methere is Bay Laurel reads in
many of the cards, one right offthe bat that comes to mind is
the World card, the end of themajor arcana and it is a figure
that is inside of a bay Laurelreef. It symbolizes victory
achievement, getting what youwant, getting what you set out
(13:34):
to achieve. And so that's why weuse berry oil bay leaves Bay
incense. And that's why we'reusing it today in this very
basic little ritual. So nowyou've got your candle burning,
you have spoken your intentiononto the bayleaf. And it is now
sitting there. So now I want youto pick up each piece of the
(13:55):
Carnelian that you have thelittle chips that you have, it
could be any amount, it could befive chips, it could be 100
chips, depending on how muchtime you want to spend. This is
the where the magic happens. Sowhen you pick up the carnelian,
I want you to close your eyes.
And imagine that what you'reasking for has already been
(14:15):
achieved. So in my case, I wrotethat I want to achieve a
prosperous and fulfilledspiritual life, right? And so I
just visioned myself when Iclose my eyes that's I'm holding
this Carnelian walking to workand feeling nothing but great
vibes because when I'm balanced, spiritually unbalanced
everywhere, and that's a needfor me and when I'm out of
(14:35):
balance spiritually, I'm alittle cranky. So I'm just
imagining a happy, fulfilledBrian you do the same and just
do it very, very quickly verybriefly because we're going to
do each tip we're going to pickup the chip and fuse it with the
entity we're looking at in ourthird eye and then put it right
next to the candle just do thatfor each of the pieces of
(14:56):
Carnelian that you have once youhave finished that The ritual is
done. Just sit there and spendsome time with your candle.
It'll take about 20 minutes to ahalf an hour to burn down at
this point, and let itcompletely burn out. And all the
while you're visioning in yourthird eye that this has already
happened, you are already livingwith what you've asked for. And
(15:18):
then the ritual is done. Whenit's done, and it's burned out.
Take all the spent materials, which is the copper, the
carnelian, the bayleaf, wrapthem up in the parchment paper
and bury them in the earth thatis in a place that is near and
dear to you. And what would bemy a place that's near and dear
to you. For me, it would be mybackyard, the back of the
(15:40):
ravens, the old ravens cold andon Sandusky street places that I
own that I love. If you live inan apartment building, go to a
park that you love, go put itnear under a tree somewhere that
that you can do that. But returnthe spent items to the earth and
then wait for the magic tohappen. That's candle magic in a
very, very fast and distinctway. So I want you guys to
(16:04):
always, always honor this andtry this and report back to me
send me an email at Brian atravens cauldron.com. I would
love to hear your stories. But Ican tell you many stories of the
years where I've gotten jobs, where I've aced a job interview,
anything I've asked for when Iput my whole foot in it if you
will, when I put my whole worthinto it. And I give it my
(16:26):
undivided attention. And I askedfor what I want and what I want
is good for me. It will happenit is the most amazing thing.
All right friends coming up nextwe're going to continue our 10
part how to build your crystaltoolkit series with Carnelian of
all things we just worked withCarnelian. And I want to talk
about why I love Carnelian whatit's all about what it stands
(16:49):
for, and how you can get to knowyour piece of Carnelian coming
right up.
All right, let's talk aboutCarnelian one of my favorite
(17:14):
crystals of all time, althoughthat's not really a fair
statement, because they're allmy favorites. But we're here
today to continue our 10 partseries about how to grow your
crystal grid, you know how togrow your crystal toolkit. And
we talked about the mastercrystal of clear quartz last
week and how it amplifiesanything that it's near. And it
(17:39):
can pull on those energies. Andit's the foundation crystal that
we all must start with. Todaywe're going to focus on
Carnelian. We just talked abouta candle magic ritual, a red
candle based around passion, andgrowth and Carnelian is all
about passion, what gets us outof bed in the morning, what we
(18:02):
care about the most. And I don'tever want to get that twisted
with our jobs unless you careabout your job the most, which a
lot of us do, and a lot of usdon't. Or you know, it's not
your basic needs of food, waterhealth and that type of thing.
(18:23):
The passion we're talking abouthere is what really sparks us.
What gets us out of bed in themorning. And for me we all know
is metaphysical studies, rocks, crystals, gemstones, Taro,
herbs, all that stuff I getreally excited about that's
that's what I've devoted my lifepractice to. That's what I love.
That's my passion. So let's justroleplay for a second.
(18:48):
Let's say thatI'm getting disenchanted with
the crystal business right now.
And I really just don't careabout crystals, including
Carnelian. And I've just had I'mhaving a moment where I'm trying
to get that feeling back. That'swhen you reach for your
Carnelian. That's what it's for.
And how do you get to know it?
How do you get to know thatpiece of Carnelian for you? So
(19:12):
it's really a quick and easyanswer on this one. You pick up
if you're at a crystal store andthey have Carnelian Carnelian
palm stones for instance. It'sthe same way we talked about the
crystal, the clear quartz lastweek, pick that pick a few
pieces of that visually appealedto you and find the one that
(19:32):
appeals to you the most. Andthen just hold it for a few
minutes. If you can close youreyes. If you're in a public
place and you don't want to lookcrazy, that's okay, but I don't
mind looking crazy. So see if itignites a passion in you. So for
instance, I just told you I'mhaving a moment where I don't
care about the crystal business.
I'm disenchanted for whateverreason what's going on in the
(19:54):
world. It's really got me down Ihave a large piece of Carnelian
that I work with On the regularin my toolkit and I would go to
grab that if you're justbuilding your toolkit, you know
that you want to reach for apiece of Carnelian to reignite
that passion and so you haven'tprocured your piece yet. So you
go to store to find that samething. So when I pick up my
piece of carnelian, I know allthe sudden I start getting a
(20:17):
tingly feeling all around myselfabout crystals and some new
ritual I want to do and I wantto read up on this deity. I want
to study the difference betweenCarnelian and Sardonyx. For
instance, that may be saying, and that all came about, as soon
as I picked up my carnelian, when you're in the store, and
(20:38):
you're procuring your piece, orif you already own a piece, and
it's just sitting on the shelf, reach for it, when you're
feeling spent, on your passion, what you care about what gets
you out of bed in the morning, what makes you smile. Some of us
it is truly our job. In my case,it is my job. That's what I've
devoted. But I used to also workin information technology, for
(20:59):
instance, that was not mypassion, that was a way to make
money. And I did very well atit, that it wasn't my passion.
So if I were feeling in a law init information technology, in my
old job, I would not reach formy Carnelian I would reach for
something like Tiger's eye,because that's going to be a
foundational rock, foundationalcrystal that helps me keep my
(21:22):
feet firmly planted and do whatI need to do to get from point A
to point B. But that's not whatwe're talking about. Here. We're
talking about really what wecare about. And so in my case,
again, it would be the law. Andthen I picked it up and I
started thinking about studyingSardonyx versus carnelian, that
type of thing. And it haseverything to do what's what
with what's important to us.
(21:44):
Now, what's interesting aboutcarnelian, and this whole topic,
that's different than a lot ofother crystals. I do tons of
tarot readings for people andthe suit of wands is has
everything to do with passionand what we care about. And if I
do a reading for someone, and Isee a high concentration of
reversed wands, or wands cardsin positions in a Tarot Spread
(22:07):
that say what's lacking in yourlife, what's challenging you and
it's all want, then it leads meto have this exact discussion
that we're having with thatparticular querent. And it's
kind of like, okay, what getsyou out of bed in the morning
John Doe, Jane Doe, I'm What doyou care about the most? And I
have found that there have beentimes where they cannot answer
that somebody does not have aquick answer as to what their
(22:30):
passion is and what they careabout. And this is another
really good use of Carnelian.
And how to get to know yourcrystals. And these are subtle
nuances that you have toremember because again, we're
doing this whole series becausepeople come to us all the time.
And they built their crystalcollection. And they're not the
type of collectors that wants toput their crystals in a curio
cabinet, but they actually wantto use them for their different
energies. But they they come upshort. And this is a good way to
(22:52):
do this. So if you can answerthe question, what gets you out
of bed in the morning besidesyour job and the things that you
have to do to get by in the daythat what you really care about
and that you're lacking and thatthis is even a better use of
Carnelian rather than my use ofI'm just I know that I love
crystals and the crystalbusiness and studying the
geology and the differences inthese rocks. But I'm having a
(23:14):
law versus I don't know what Icare about Carnelian will help
you do that. And the way youwould do that would be put a
piece of Carnelian in yourpocket, if it's a small piece,
if it's a palm stone, take it towork with you that I had set it
on your desk, keep it near youall day, and start noticing if
you don't develop a passion or ahobby and something that you
(23:35):
really care about. That's whatCarnelian does for us. it
reignites the flame inside of usto get back to that feeling of
excitement on what we care aboutor it initially lights the flame
many of us walk through life andthey don't We don't know exactly
what we care about until suchtime that we do. And I know that
(23:57):
was not very profound, butthat's what these red rocks can
do for us especially Carnelian.
It's just a very, very powerfulstone. In my particular crystal
toolkit. I have two small piecesof Carnelian that I've had for
years that I will carry in mypocket if I'm having a law and
passion or I just feel listlessand I don't care. I have a
(24:19):
beautiful deep red palm stonethat I also vibe with at home
when I'm doing meditation and Ialso have a an amazing Sardonyx
slash Carnelian skull, Sardonyxand Carnelian are very similar
stones. Carnelian is a littlemore concentrated in just a
solid red with a little bit ofcream swirled through it and
sardonic or Carnelian I hope Isaid Carnelian Sardonyx is like
(24:42):
a banded Carnelian it's got realthin swirls of white and it can
be just amazing. I have asardonic skull. And this is not
for this podcast but infusingskulls with passionate energy to
get where I need to go issomething that I also do in want
to talk about but it's way toolong for For this episode, but
again, this is how you get toknow your crystal toolkit and
(25:05):
all those pieces of Carnelianthat I described to you in the
one piece of Sardonyx I've hadfor years, and I've also gotten
pieces that didn't do anythingfor me. And so I might put those
in a plant and use them as adecoration. But the ones that
speak to me, the ones thatignite the flame in me where I
work with that piece, and Imeditate on it, and all of a
sudden, I've come up with anewfound passion, I've come up
with a new facet of my passionthat I want to focus on is what
(25:28):
really makes Carnelian shine. Soif you want to take it one step
further, we talked about theamplification qualities of clear
quartz last week, and how it'sthe master crystal. So if I was
having a really, really toughtime with igniting my passion,
and getting back to what I needto do, for instance, my passion,
again, is crystals. Let's sayI'm having another law where I'm
(25:50):
not, I don't know, let's saysocial media, for instance, I do
Tarot combinations for socialmedia all the time, and I love
doing it, it's never a burden.
But then I fall behind on that, and I just don't care about it
as much. And it's affecting notonly something I care about, but
it's also affecting my business, then I might not only work with
a piece of carnelian, I alsomight set a piece of clear
(26:13):
quartz right near to amplify itsproperties to get me off my ass
and get doing what I need to doto cultivate my passion in my
creativity, if you will. So thatis carnelian, I encourage each
of you if you do not have apiece of this very powerful
stone to get yourself a piecebecause one thing I've noticed,
(26:36):
with all the tarot readings andstuff that I do is that if you
are not passionate aboutanything, and you don't have
that fire sitting inside of you, you're going to quickly quickly
become a very unhappy person, and you're not going to live
your best life. The suit ofWands and Taro is by by a
longshot, my favorite suitbecause I think it's the fabric
(26:58):
of our being. If we don't careabout anything, then we really
don't care about our life. Andthen things start to spiral out
of control. And none of us wantthat. So reach for a piece of
Carnelian to get to know thatpiece in your crystal tool kit.
All right friends coming up.
Next, we're going to talk aboutan herbal cleanse ritual that
you can do. Very quick, veryeasy, very powerful, coming
(27:22):
right up.
Let's talk about somethingreally interesting and powerful
(27:43):
and fun to do at home. And thatis a homemade herbal cleanse.
Now you can buy herbal blends, herbal bath blends, that type of
thing. That's not what I'mtalking about here. This is
going to be the simplest andfastest ritual you've probably
ever heard me explain. Butanyway, there are times where I
(28:05):
need what I call a solar blast.
And what a solar blast is this,it's been like three, four days,
and I'm just cranky as hell. AndI'm complaining about this and
I'm mad about that. Nothing'sgoing right. I'm spiraling as a
result, and nothing's gonna goright because I'm pissed off.
And I just need a solar blast.
(28:27):
And when I say solar blast isclear it all out if I could
reach into my head and put myhand in there and just get all
the garbage out and start overfresh and that's what we're
going to do right here. Whatyou'll need is a pan of water to
sprigs of rosemary about threeto five inches, and a couple
(28:49):
pieces of frankincense resin.
Now, frankincense and rosemaryare well documented and known to
be purification herbs. It's whatwe would use metaphysically to
purify a space to clean out aspace if you will. The
combination of these two is justvery, very powerful. So let's
(29:12):
get right to it and think aboutwhat we're going to do. So you
need a stove and you just startby putting a pan of water on the
stove and turning on the heatuntil it gets close to a boiling
point. And then you just simplyadd to sprigs of rosemary and a
couple of chunks of small smallsmall pieces of frankincense
(29:35):
resin and you steep those twoitems and the near boiling water
for at least five minutessometimes 10 The longer you let
it steep within reason I mean upto like 15 minutes and more
powerful will be and then justset it off of the stove and let
it completely cool. Once you'vedone that, strain it through a
coffee filter or a piece of mashcheesecloth. Never, you have to
(29:59):
discard anything but the liquid.
And then it's, this is the mostsimple thing that you can ever
do the solar blast herbalcleanse that I do, when you get
in the shower that day or thenext morning, you've already
made the tincture, if you will.
You simply just say a mantra, Iwill come up with one for you
(30:23):
off the top of my head, I shouldtell you real quick, the these
podcasts are not scripted atall. So everything I'm telling
you is coming out of thecontents of my head, this is how
I roll. I've been doing thisstuff for so long. And I want to
share this stuff with you. Solet's come up with a mantra to
Clinton. So let's let's come upwith a situation where I would
need a solar blast cleansing, let's say that everything has
(30:43):
gone wrong for the past fourdays, and I'm fighting with my
partner, and I'm pissed off atwork and my dogs are making me
mad. Nothing's going right, I'mgetting ugly notices in the
mail, and I'm just cranky. And Ican't figure out what I've done
wrong and the universe. And it'snever that. But that's just the
human condition that we getinto. So when you get in the
(31:03):
shower, you take the herbalconcoction that we made on the
stove, you hold it in your hand, and you say your mantra and
you're infusing that herbalconcoction with this mantra. So
I cleanse myself of allnegativity, I return myself to
the badass that I know that Iam. That's my mantra, I cleanse
(31:26):
myself of all negativity, and Ireturned myself to the badass
that I know I am. And I say thatseveral times to the point where
it becomes almost meditation, ifyou will, I'm saying this mantra
over and over. And I'm lookingat the herbal concoction I'm
saying and I'm saying and I'msaying and I'm saying, when you
(31:47):
feel like you have done what youneed to do, then you take that
two cups, three cups howevermuch of that concoction you
have, and you hold it over thetop of your head in the shower,
and you pour it at the crown ofyour head and let it just flow
down your entire body and downthe drain and you are cleansing
and washing yourself andpurifying yourself from all that
negativity that's been occurringin your life. And that's it
(32:10):
friends witchy stuff doesn'talways have to be so ceremonial.
It doesn't always have to besuch a big deal. But I beg you
to try this because it is justso powerful. You can buy herbal
bath blends, and they're verymuch similar blends. They just
have chosen different herbs.
(32:30):
Rosemary is kind of like to theherbal world is like clear
quartz is to the crystal world.
If you're doing a ritual, witchcraft, which role of any
kind and you can't find Molan, you can't find Queen of the
meadow or something you canalways substitute rosemary, but
it its root Rosemary is apurifier, it purifies whatever
it comes in contact with. And sothat's why I chose it
(32:55):
frankincense even more powerfulin for the revered smell of it.
And so would you steep thefrankincense and the rosemary,
it's gonna be a wonderful, wonderful smell. And then you
just are cleansing and purifyingyour body by pouring it over the
top of your head and letting itjust drip down your entire body
and through the drain and you'veset you've infused it with a
(33:19):
mantra and you are ready tobegin a new day and a new
reality really because that'sthat that's what this is a
seller blast and you'll besurprised when I do these I do
so I try not to let myself getinto these funks where I'm a
piss ant but when I find myselfthat way, within 24 hours so if
I did that, if I if I made theherbal concoction on a Thursday
(33:44):
night and then I took a showerFriday morning and I used and I
did my mantra and did this. Icould expect my Saturday I'm
coming up with new opportunitiesand I'm feeling like a newbie
and I just have a new pep in mystep and I can't imagine being
so pissed off like I was beforevery very powerful. Give it a
try rosemary, frankincenseherbal purification ritual
(34:06):
Alright friends I can't believewe are at the end of this
episode already. Coming right upI'm going to do a quick three
card Tarot poll to see what theuniverse wants us to know for
the week aheadit is Taro time everyone let's
(34:36):
get right to it. I just pulledmy three cards and this is kind
of a tough poll for the week. Solet's all pay attention to this
and and take the universallesson for the week ahead. So I
pulled Major Arcana 15 And thedevil, the five of pentacles and
the Ace of Swords again MajorArcana 15 The dove Well, the
(34:58):
five of pentacles and the Ace ofSwords. So what does all this
mean? So, it's a lack mindsetfor the five of pentacles. And a
new way of thinking for the Aceof Swords. But what's this devil
all about? It has to do with ourshadow side. So anytime that
(35:19):
you're talking about the devilin tarot, everybody instantly
flips it to addiction. And itsometimes can. And I use that
word often in my tarot readings,if I need clarity, and I'm
talking to someone, but itdoesn't always mean that it
means our shadow side. And itthe simplest. Meaning it can
mean indulging in something fora quick win for quick pleasure,
(35:44):
for quick whatever knowing thatthe long term implication is
going to be harmful for us. Sowhen we combine that with the
five of pentacles, and the ACE,the five of pentacles has
everything to do with a lackmindset. It doesn't necessarily
mean financial, financialtroubles, financial devastation
(36:07):
all that thing, it means thatyou are obsessing over what you
don't have versus what you dohave. And it has to do with
finances and things you can seetouch and feel. And so the Ace
of Swords comes in, it's theonly positive card and these
three cards and it's it'schallenging us to think of
whatever it is that's draggingus down in a much more positive
(36:30):
and different light, if you willcome up with a new way of
looking at it and a new way ofsolving it, if you will. So
again, honor your shadow side, don't stifle it down. That's
where the double card comes in.
A lot of times, it's because weall have a shadow side, we all
think about indulging in thingsthat we shouldn't, whatever that
(36:54):
is. And oftentimes, we will letthat thought come into our mind,
like I learned in yoga, let itswirl around and go out. And
it's done and over. But if thatthought keeps coming into our
mind, and it's something thatwe're indulging in, that we
shouldn't be, it can have longterm implications. And this
particular instance, it could besomebody that is spending money
(37:19):
on that as well, or thinkingthat they have a lack mindset
because of the five of pentaclesin regards to their shadow self.
So what I mean by that is, youkeep going down a bad path,
knowing that it's the wrong pathfor you because you have a lack
mindset. And, for instance, someone, I'm just going to come
(37:42):
up with a completely goofysituation that is relevant to
this terrible read, but hasnothing to do with anyone in
specific, anyone in particular.
So someone that feels likethey're really, really not
likable, not dateable can neverhave a companionship, but that's
what they really want the most.
(38:04):
And because of that lackmindset, because they keep, they
keep overindulging and datingpeople that are wrong for them
on these apps and that type ofthing. And they know it's wrong.
They don't even want to go onthese dates with these people.
But they feel because of theirlack of mindset, because they're
not a wealthy person. They'renot in their mind and attractive
person, they have nothing tobring to a relationship, they
(38:26):
just keep going back and forthin this circular pattern of
returning to situations that arebad for them and ultimately hurt
them in the future. And you'rebeing called to re architect
this entire framework in yourmind swords. When you think
about the suit of swords, it hasto every sword on a sword card
(38:46):
is a thought and the Ace ofSwords is a simple one sword.
And it's a new thought, a newpiece of intellect a new way of
looking at it a new way ofthinking about something that
can pull us out of thatscarcity, lack mindset of the
five of pentacles and the shadowmindset that's getting us into
trouble in the devil. And whenyou when you reorganize the way
(39:07):
you think about it, youreorganize your mind. You've
reorganize the entire situationfor the better. That is what we
need to think about for the weekahead friends, Major Arcana 15,
the devil, the five of pentaclesand the Ace of Swords all
upright so take that lesson intothe week. However it applies to
you and that's what the universewants us to know. I look forward
(39:28):
to speaking with each of you onthis podcast next week. I
haven't quite sketched outeverything that we're going to
be doing. But I do know that wewill be doing rainbow Moonstone
for our crystal toolkit.
So I'm excited about that andI'll have a couple other goodies
another ritual for you and otherother wichard topic and of
course more tomorrow. So untilsuch time I look forward to
(39:49):
hearing from you via email ifyou have any questions or you
want to share your rituals withme and I hope you have a great
week ahead
